This place is amazing! I get pinnapple and bacon pizza, with a mango batido. Never have I been disappointed. There pizza is thick, and always use fresh pinapple. Ive ordered delivery, takeout, and dine in. Always amazing no matter what. The customer service is awesome, short wait time, fast delivery, and amazing food.

Delicious & our place to go for Lunch on Wednesdays. Staff is very friendly and the location is always clean. We mostly order from the Lunch Menu: the Chicken Cesar Salad is very fresh. Chicken is not breaded & grilled. If you don't like salty food I recommend you ask for the dressing on the side. chicken wings and burgers are very tasty! They come with a shareable portion of fries.

Last night was my first time trying their pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza and a Hawaiian pizza, both a small. The small is the perfect size for one person. The prices for the small pizzas range from about 6-9 bucks so it's extremely affordable. This is some damned good Cuban style pizza! There isn't a crust, per say, but it does have some crispy cheesy edges that are awesome! The pizza is very doughy and soft. They are FAR better than Rey's pizza, and comparable to Polo Norte. We ordered it for delivery and the pizzas arrived within the quoted time and was still warm. I look forward to ordering from them again.

Ordered the Cuban sandwich as it looked great in the menu but alas I was a victim of fast food photography. Didn't look as loaded, they got my special request wrong so i had to ask twice for mayo. I will try it again but for the pasta or pizza. I will keep you posted.

The best pizza in the area! Toppings are great, the crust is to die for. We have also ordered the wings and salads which are excellent too! Haven't ordered anything I wouldn't order again. Always friendly and have offered discounts when ordering delivery on multiple occasions.

Everything is fresh and they bring it to your table so fast ! Very good service . I thought they were kidding , until I experienced it. Open till 11 pm on weekends! If you like Italian , you won't be disappointed! Although they have plenty of more choices.

Marakas is a hidden gem and worth the drive from anywhere in the tri county area! The staff and service are beyond that of a typically "pizza joint" and the food certainly surpassed my expectations. We went on the recommendation of a friend and we've been back several times since our first visit! Marakas brings a certain authenticity when it comes to Cuban style pizza. Their pizza is deep dish and the topping and fix in options seem endless. We even took a pie to go! Watch your weight? I was surprised to see that they also offered a wide array of protein and leaner options like salads and a very tasty churrasco; a nice little menu bonus. Marakas is in a class of its own and sets itself apart from the everyday pizza. We can't wait to visit again!

This place just makes me happy. Nothing fancy about it. Only a few tables inside. Simple decor. Make sure you check out the men/women's sign on the bathroom door. They have beer and wine and offer delivery too. On to the good stuff . . . the food. First we started out with the Malanga Fritters and OMG were they awesome. They were deep fried and had an awesome crust on the outside, and then they were served with this oh so perfect cilantro dipping sauce. We ended ordering two orders. Make sure you get them. Now comes the pizza. Do you remember the square pizzas that Little Caesars used to serve back in the day? Well the best part about that pizza is that it didn't have a crust so there would be cheese to the edge. What that would create is a salty burnt cheesey edge that was literally probably the best part of the pizza. Well guess what?! Marakas Pizza has that AMAZING cheese to the edge pizza. BOOM. The thickness is similar to a pan pizza. It's crispy and has the perfect ratio of cheese to bread to toppings. We got the veggie and the toppings were cooked under the cheese which was different and so yum. Nothing really beats the crustless part of the pizza and that salty burnt cheese edge. Love it. We did not have any room for dessert, but we will be back. PS the service was also awesome. There was heart and love in the service and it showed through to the food too.

Love this place and now I am turning all my friends and family into fans too. Best Cuban pizza and lasagna. Ohh and real Mantecado milkshakes! This place really brings me back to my childhood memories. They really know the right recipes and everything tastes extremely fresh. Also, the owner and the staff are extremely nice which is a breath of fresh air in our city ... Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. Best prices+best food+best customer service!!!

Ordered the $5 2 slice/soda special to go. It was going to be a bit of a wait so I sat down. They gave me complimentary garlic bread which was a nice touch. They took a bit long with the two slices of pizza but I wasn't in much of a hurry. Nevertheless they let me switch the canned soda for a bottle of Gatorade since I had to wait for a bit. That is excellent customer service and I was genuinely surprised. They didn't have to do that for me, but they did and it was real cool of them. Could've gone to a Pizza Hut or Domino's but I wanted some non-chain pizza. Glad that I did.

this is my first time at maracas .. i went to fix my phone at the same shopping center and i saw the flyer..... we went and the services provided was excellent... the pizza and spagettis super good ... super clean very happy with the services one again ... there is a skinny young woman from matanzas cuba that is super nice.

Amazing spot. Everything is so yummy but must try the lasagna de chorizo y jamón. Absolutely delicious and they don't skimp on meats or cheese. Much better than some of the other local Cuban pizza shops. I also met the owners and they take great pride in the quality of their food and their service.

By far my most favorite pizza in all of Miami!!! I drive from downtown Miami every time I'm craving pizza (Cuban style...amazing), a traditional Cuban sandwich, churrasco, lasagna and some amazing deserts!! Basically you come here if you want awesome food and out of this world prices! The owners came out and spoke to my husband and I, a real family place!! I'm hooked! Can't get enough. Great food and service! You just can't find this anywhere else!!!! This restaurant was recommended to me and I felt the need to keep sharing! Such a great find.

First time I ordered and I loved it. The crema de queso w/marinara sauce is DELISH. I also ordered the Hawaiian Pizza and I LIVED it!! I give them a 5 star!! Ohh and delivery was 45 mins. Recommend this place. Cant wait to order again!

I decided to finally try this nearby Cuban style pizza restaurant this past weekend. Once at the restaurant though I decided to try their special spaghetti lasagna instead of pizza. I was really surprised how tasty this dish was and the portion was very generous for the price they charge. Accompanying this was a small basket of fresh, hot, and delicious garlic knots. For dessert I ordered a scoop of mantecado ice cream which is a creamier version of french vanilla. By mistake they brought me a mantecado shake instead. I told them not to worry about it as the shake looked magnificent. They still brought me a scoop of the ice cream anyway and did not charge me for the shake. The shake by the way tasted as good as it looked. The owners of the restaurant were very pleasant and look like they really enjoy what they do. I am looking forward to going back again real soon to try out their pizza. They also offer a number of specials that are pretty good deals.

Amazing Cuba style pizza. Better than what Rey's Pizza used to be in their good times. Get one "personal size pizza" per person if possible instead of a whole pie.

Went for lunch and the food was absolutely delicious. It's a tad small so it's uncomfortable if you are in a group of 5+ so I can see myself getting take out from here. The especial vitanouva (or something like that) is to die for, ham, chorizo, and lots of cheese.... Who wouldn't love that. We ordered calamari and it was decent, maybe could use a bit more seasoning. For desert we had tiramisu, that was a hit. All in all, a good place to eat and great prices.

My husband discovered this spot after having been disappointed by the other Cuban pizza places. We fell in love with the pizza and would order it at least once a week. I even would order a personal one all to myself. About 3 months ago, I discovered not one but two hairs on my pizza. Initially I thought it was my hair so I cut another bite and at the second hair (long and entangled in the cheese) I had enough. I could not keep much down. Felt so disgusted I went straight to the bathroom. My husband thought it may have been a one time mishap and he ordered it a couple of more times but I abstained from eating from there for the past 3 months. Today I decided to give it another chance. I had to take small bites and even made sure I had a spotlight on my pizza (that's how skeptical I was)... Well, it happened again. Found another hair! This time not as big as the other two but that's unacceptable, disgusting and I'm one very disappointed customer. It makes me wonder what other disgusting unsanitary toppings end up in the pizzas and any other food they make. Giving it two stars just bc the pizza was nicely done without any complaints for about 6 months. Not anymore!

Ive never gone to the restaurant itself, only delivery. Ive ordered a handful of times and every time i have been so turned off by the service. the delivery comes fast not gonna lie but the customer service sucks; So brief, they hand you the food and walk like theyre in the biggest hurry...like chill out and look up at your customer for once. i ask for them to add ketchup every time and they ALWAYS give me hot sauce instead. are they trying to fool me? or is it really that common of a mistake. lastly, and my last complain since i probably wont oder again, is...im pretty sure i was just served a milkshake with spoiled milk. i get the same thing every time, and it tasted like pretty darn sour milk this time, hence, why i felt the need to write a review.
