I live across the street and have been ordering from them for the last 2 years. Prices a great, delivery is fast and the food is good. Most places the rice is greasy but I have to say this place is good for the price

They offer only take out here. Nothing stood out about the food other than the above average price they charge you for it. The mark up on the price of their food is really high. If the food was better than your average Chinese restaurant, then it wouldn't be a big deal, but I've definitely had better for cheaper. At least it was hot. The portion amounts were fair, I didn't feel cheated, and it didn't take long to cook our food, so that's a plus. I just wish they would lower their prices or offer some type of social media check in discount. Something to balance their mediocre food with their prices.

Just what I needed a small Chinese take out place! No eat in area only take out or delivery. Food is good and at a decent price.

Pretty good food...we order once in awhile from here, really like the beef lo mein and spring rolls. They deliver fairly quick.

Better than most quick small Chinese restaurants. Most Chinese restaurants honey garlic chicken is all bread but this place gives you what you ask for. It's nothing out of this world but a great place to pick up a late night dinner.

The Chinese food in Miami is generally lacking, but this is a great place for take-out on a Sunday night. Try the veggie eggrolls and the crab rangoon for good standards. The cashew chicken is also good and one of my family's faves. They also make a chicken corn chowder that's got an eggdrop soup base that I love.

I was getting my hair cut at Grande Salon on a Friday night and wanted to take some Chinese food home. The salon recommended Lotus House, which is located right behind the Publix, next to DQ. This place is take-out only. I ordered the Super Special, I believe that's what it is called, the fried rice for 6-8 people with everything. The price was decent ($17 with tax) and it was ready in 10 minutes. The rice was not greasy at all and the flavor was good. The only complaint I might have is that it was a little lacking on the meat and shrimpies but it was good for a quick Friday night dinner. I will go back to try some other things on their menu but I don't know how soon since I don't really do take out or Chinese very often. This is definitely a good option for those of us who live in the area. Oh, and they deliver.

Alright, we gave em another try and along with the usual fried fare, we tried the Special Foon-Shee and I'll be darned if it wasn't good. The egg-drop soup was a little better than I remember also, still needs work (little heavy on the salt/cornstarch) but not terrible. Wings and Rangoons are still really, really good.

My fiance and I ate here once and only once - we ended up getting sick. The food is extremely greasy. I could have used the fried rice to power my car. The veggies and tofu were lackluster. It's like many other Chinese places down here: greasy. I asked one of my colleagues who is Chinese and she says she has no idea why the places down here cook in such an unhealthy manner. This came straight from her, "We don't eat like that in China."

The Lotus house is a take out only Chinese restaurant. There is no place to sit and eat in the surrounding area. The food here is very good. I order from here for lunch and in 30 minutes or less they are knocking on your door. I personally love the curry beef patties and the spring rolls. Their lunch combo menu has over 22 options and it includes soup, egg roll, pork fried rice and a fortune cookie. The lunch portions are big enough two people can eat from one. At my office we order from here for special occasions and we have not been disappointed with our menu selection. If you are in the Kendall area and want to do take out give them a call you wont be disappointed. The reason for 4 stars is becuase you cant eat in, and their English is not that great and you have to repeat yourself several times.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
