This place is the sister restaurant to Lemoni Cafe right next store. We go to the Cafe allot. The food is great and we thought to try the pizza joint. We ordered the meatballs to start. You get four and they are large. They were very moist with a good taste. The gravy was very tasty. We order the Margarita pizza. When it came out, it looked like a regular pizza. We said something to the waitress we know and she was surprised. Coming from the NE and Philly area, we know pizza and Italian food. So we explained what a real Margarita pizza should be. However, the pizza was excellent form the curst to the sauce and cheese. It is a great choice but they need to just call it what it is---a regular pizza. I would highly recommend coming to this place and grabbing some food.

Love love love. It is so quaint. Very romantic. Perfect date spot. Family spot. Or a get together with friends. They have all different types of pizza. Ask for some bread. You will get addicted to it. They don't bring bread unless you ask. From the decor to the size of the place you feel like you are in a Rome eatery/Parisian cafe. Now he service...make sure to have the gentleman server there. The girls aren't too great. They aren't horrible. But one was forgetful one time and the other just wasn't too nice and stood and watched the food network while we were trying to call her over for water. Just little things like that. If you are paying to eat out you should get what you pay for. Other than the service from the girls this place is a must in midtown/Buena vista.

This place is hands down the closest you'll get to a slice of New York style Pizza in this neck of the woods...absolutely DELICIOUS!

Went for lunch with my coworkers although we normally go to the café (Lemoni) next door that day it was packed so we sat on the pizza side 2 of us ordered a pizza to share and the others ordered from the café. Well the others that ordered from the café got their food and had finished eating and our pizza still hadn't come. One of my coworkers went and inquired to the owner about our pizza and she apologized and told us that she was on it. After about another 15 minutes our pizza came and it was delicious. The owner apologized once again and took the pizza off our bill. I really like the owner very professional and personal with customers.

Went to lemoni after reading reviews and craving pizza. Pizza good ( had the Hawaiian with pineapple) but truly not that much of a big deal. We also had spaghetti with meatballs. Spaghetti cooked perfect and sauce good. Meatballs were crumbly and dry and perhaps healthier for you then your average meatball BUT I miss the flavor. Lemoni has a health twist to it that makes itself known on the menu. No garlic rolls here. Tables were small and crowded with stuff like candles and vases that left little room for the metal pizza holder and plates. Waitress had to get a second table for us just so we could fit everything. they should remove some of that useless decoration stuff. Parking is a problem as is in all Buena vista. tiramisu was good and service was good.

I have no idea how this place gets good reviews. The pizza was dry, cold and fairly flavorless. I've had better cardboard. Couldn't eat it.

I can't tell you how much I have anticipated your arrival Pizzeria di Lemoni! A little dangerous that you are two blocks away from my home but what a treat! Hubs and I usually have the Margherita, since I am a purist with pizza and cheeseburgers. The crust is always so crispy and crunchy. I can count on the ingredients being absolutely fresh. Service is usually helpful when the owners are around. The restaurant is very cozy. It is very tempting to sit outside on those few chilly evenings in Miami, but I would recommend you don't. People drive by toooo fast on NE 2 Ave and it feels like you are going to fly away with them.

This is the second time my lady and I have dined here. Food is excellent. So many veg and vegan options. Plus lots of gluten free options as well. You can't go wrong. Place is a little small but the food is outstanding, fresh and prepared with care. We now love this place.

The food is delicious however they have this ONE employee that works at the pizzeria and also at the cafe ( Bold Guy with an accent ) that always has an attitud. It is a shame that such a nice place , food an ambiance is ruin by this person. I LOVE both places and I am a regular delivery, pick up and in dining customer but when I am served by this guy is always the same. he is always rude. I hope the owners know this because this can ruin their reputation

Had dinner here with a group of vegan friends on Friday night. Although we actually dined at Lemoni Cafe (next door) we ordered from Lemoni Pizza & Kitchen menu. Therefore, this review its based solely in our gastronomic Pizza experience. First, the good news... There were very accommodative when we stated we wanted to order from the Lemoni Pizza menu, since the pizza place was too small to accommodate 8 people in one table. Good. Besides, the guy at the pizza place (the bold one) was very rude, reminded us every five minutes we didn't have a reservation. No wonder nobody likes him.... Okay... They had no problem with separate checks, which make our evening way easier at the end of the night. Alleluia!!! Now, its great they had a menu filled with vegan options. For that, we were greatly thankful. However, if you want to appeal to the ever growing vegan community I must give you some necessary pointers. The vegan pizzas. Have you realized that solely using cashew "sauce" in the pizzas made them extremely dry? Since when tomato sauce is not vegan? For some reason that I can not comprehend, they banned the tomato sauce, giving the whole pizza experience a touch of alien punishment. I had the "meatless" meatball pizza. Big disappointment!!! Nothing more far from I was expecting. The "meatballs" made with lentils were extremely dry, plus the cashew sauce make the whole thing even drier. Water, anyone? It makes no sense to me, that you allure your diners with such scrumptious descriptions and the final result bombed at the first bite. Have the option to add the tomato sauce to the pizzas. Or mix both, whatever to make them better. You can thank me later. Flash news: We vegans are not from another planet... Not yet. I had a slice of another pizza, the greek/tofu one. Way better than the one I ordered. At least it was not dry. The desserts...Hmmm... I had a "Nom Nom" vegan cookie. Probably no one order those, because mine was not fresh. My fellow dinners had the strawberry/cranberry raw pie. It was good, although very expensive $8. Anyhow....

Called restaurant to see where my delivery was after waiting 90+ min. The guy tells me it was delivered and to check my door. It was hanging on my door handle for over 30min without anyone telling me. The delivery guy (idiot) said he knocked but no answered. I didn't hear shit and you could have called me! Thanks for the cold food prick!

I love pizza so much we ordered the Levantini and it was so good have prosciutto on it and arugula and Parmesan cheese and I would go back in 2 seconds I live right by this place and I'm going to get such a thing now

Good food, good options, good environment, whats not to like. I have tried the chicken parm, pizza and meatball parm sub, all very fulfilling. They have a couple local beers on tap, and reasonable wine prices. Slowly becoming my go to italian restaurant of choice.

I've had pizza from Lemoni twice now, and I've yet to set foot in the restaurant. That's right. Two check ins: both from home. Oh, I'm a rebel. That's right. Rebellious. I'm talking Marlon Brando in "The Wild One." Marlon Brando and his iconic response to Mildred asking, "Hey Johnny, what are you rebelling against?" Marlon Brando so freaking cool in saying, "Whadda you got?" You've probably never even heard of "The Wild One." I'll tell you this much: before "Sons of Anarchy," before "Easy Rider," before any and every other movie surrounding anarchical characters going left when society tells them to go right, there was "The Wild One." Check it out. ... Oh. Right. Pizza. There was a point to my Brando diatribe, and that point is as follows: my meager rebellion (which is more a manipulation of a Yelp loophole than anything else) pales in comparison to what I feel Lemoni is doing. You see, there's been a movement of late that equates amazing pizza with a coal oven. Don't get me wrong. I love coal-fired pizza. But that doesn't mean that the conventional oven should be bound in electrical tape and left on the side of the road. (Brownie points if you get that reference.) Lemoni is achieving pizza greatness with the kind of ovens that you and I were raised on. I can spend a lot of time going on and on about the freshness of the ingredients, and they are fresh. I mean, I've had pizzas topped with prosciutto and spinach and brie and basil and ricotta and mushrooms and garlic slices, (notice how I said SLICES) and it's all been fantastic. I'm talking about running-through-the-Garden-of-Eden-naked fantastic. I'm talking about God-not-thinking-to-look-up-and-smite-me-because-he's-too-busy-devouring-a-Lemoni-pizza fantastic. So yes. The ingredients are fresh. But what I want to focus on is the crust... And I'm talking about CRUST. Golden brown and crispy and almost buttery in texture. The kind of crust that gives way to your teeth but makes you fight just a little bit to tear away that piece you so desperately want. And we all know that things are better when you're made to fight for them, when you have to suffer for them at least a little bit. Friends, I'm telling you. If you walk away from my review having learned two things, they should be as follows: thing the first, "The Wild One" paved the way for the 1%er biker movement; and thing the second, coal-fired pizza is NOT the end-all, be-all. So do yourselves a favor. Rebel for an evening. Stream "The Wild One," (remember when we used to say "rent?"), and order in from Lemoni instead of making your way to some coal-fired pizzeria for some all-too-often burnt crust. You will not be disappointed.

Now, this is the pizza place I have been looking in Miami for lo these many years! Last night, on a whim, Ritch and I ventured up to La Pizzeria di Lemoni for what was a superb meal on a near shoe string. Here are a few highlights: - The shrimp scampi app was ridiculously good. I'm talking sauce-sopping good! - The salad gave us enough perfectly-dressed arugula to choke a horse! - The pizza...well, all I can say is that we have some in the fridge left over that is calling my name. "Kenny...eat me!" The place itself has a European, neighborhood charm. Add to that a $15 bottle of chianti and you've got yourself a perfect date night...assuming you've brought a perfect date with you. (They do not currently have dates on the menu. Figs, yes. Dates, no. So, bring your own to avoid disappointment.)

After ordering twice and having similar experiences I have to give LPDL two stars. The first time I ordered apparently there was the first earthquake in Florida. Either that, or the delivery person packed the pizza vertically in his backpack whilst dodging traffic on his scooter. I couldn't even describe the pizza as a "hot mess" as it arrived cold. Most of the toppings and cheese were on 1/4 of the pizza. Also it was greasy and salty. It was an aberration or so I thought. I ordered again a month ago. Although all the toppings were in tact, this lukewarm pie was again (you guessed it) greasy and salty. It's a interesting combination, but not a tasty one. ~Sigh~ If only Andiamo delivered to my house.

This place is my favorite hidden gem in Miami. The best pizza in town hands down, we love the 3 mushroom pizza and have them add truffle oil to it and it is sooooo good! All of the italian dishes I've gotten have been delicious as well, Lasagna, Chicken Parm, etc. Highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed!!

I've had the pleasure of dining at their sister restaurant, Lemoni Cafe, and was delighted by the healthy and also yummy choices. Because of that positive experience, I've always wanted to try their pizzeria version. Tonight I wanted to order pizza delivery and God forbid that I'd opt for the local dominos down the street. I thought trying out this place was perfect timing. Weary of delivery time, I had the extra dollar as tip handy if they made it within the advertised 45-60minute delivery timeframe. To my delight, they came within 40 minutes and the pizza was still fresh and hot. I ordered the 16" "Catalina" which included spinach, mozzarella, egg, tomato sauce and my favorite, truffle oil -- perfection! The crust was thin and crispy, New York style and without the excessive grease. I'm not even a crust person, but I found myself dipping the crust in the egg yolk. I wish I took pictures but I devoured it with gusto. Wish I ordered more just to try the different combinations, but I was happily stuffed. Totally recommend it! Next time I hope to enjoy it in person with the laid back-chill ambiance I'd observe whenever I'd pass by the joint.

I arrived at 10 pm on a Friday night. The restaurant's website said the restaurant closed at 11pm. We were turned away by one of the employees who said, "the manager told me to close early tonight because we were slow." Uh, what? First of all, there were several customers on both sides of the restaurant. Second- if business is slow, wouldn't taking two paying customers a good way to increase your business? I specifically looked at the hours on the website BEFORE leaving the house, because I didn't want to waste time driving up for no reason, which is what ended up happening. I wasn't a fan of the attitude and tone of voice the employee used with us either. I come to Lemoni Cafe not just for the delicious vegan fare, but for the chill Wynwood vibe. Tonight all I got was South Beach style snobbery.

The food here is soooo good! I'm allergic to gluten and the gluten-free pizza is really good. The gluten free ravioli is another level of amazing. Best dish I've ever had. I still talk about it like I had it for dinner yesterday. Quaint, small place in the design district with a cool vibe and good food/wine.

The nightly special when I was there was: $20 for a large pizza and a bottle of wine. That'd be a cool deal anywhere but once you consider that it's La Pizzeria di Lemoni aka from the same lovely owners of Lemoni Cafe then you understand what a real bargain this is. The ladies of Lemoni have brought their signature charming style and welcoming vibe two doors north and focused on comfort Italian. Pizzas, pastas, calzones, and more. Attentive service Complimentary wifi (who doesn't love free wifi) Good pizza Beers and wines

I love Lemoni Cafe so I just had to eventually try the little Italian pizzza place that I pass everytime I go next door. I heard they just have the best pizza ever ! I love this place everything was just fresh. I feel like everything is just picked of the trees and put on a plate. I had the small cesar slad with fresh shaved parasean. We got a basic cheese pizza. Really good !!! I want to go back and try some of the entrees. They have really good lunch specials too. 11-4 $9.99 few differeent entreees with soup or salad. The prices for the quality at these two places you just can't beat !

From the makers of Lemoni Cafe comes this laid back pizza joint near Mid-town. The interior here is pretty cozy and romantic (for a pizza place). It would be a great place for a casual date or to take your second string chick to keep it on the DL. Although this is a pizza place, they do have a selection of pastas and salads if you are not in the mood for a pie. I also hear you can order from the Lemoni Cafe menu as well if you want something else. My favorite menu item has to be the wine & pizza specials they offer. They used to have a $20 Chianti and Margarita pizza special, but I haven't seen it in a while. There was however a $30 bottle of wine and pizza special where the wine was normally $25 a bottle on the menu. Still a great deal, and definitely a cheap date. I am not a fan of deserts but I have to say that the cannoli is freaking awesome! This place is also very family friendly as I have been here with my kid and my friend's kids here without any issues. Another great addition to the Buena Vista area!

Just like the song say, Today I don't feel like doing anything. It was one of this days that you feel so lazy and just don't want to do anything, even cooking. So i decided to order online for some delivery. I chose La Pizzeria since I always love their Catalina pizza. Looks healthy to me with some spinach covered with mozzarella-simply delicioso! Last time I had my order they were so fast and on time, so this time, they said its going to be 40 minutes. Quite impressive. The pizza went on time. It was worth to wait. Pizza still a little warm though, Pretty fair, it was not that costly anyways, but it was absolutely filling this lazy day.

I have passed by this place dozens of times when I parked next door to go to other restaurants in the area. This place reminds me of New York, its a tiny wooden table and booth restaurant serving pizza and pasta. I only had the mussels and calamari appetizer, but I got a good feeling about Lemoni and I will be back.

Worst pizza I've ever had! Ugh! I'm so mad! I just had a lunch special Margherita pizza and small salad delivered to my office and the salad was good, but the pizza was dripping with grease so much so that the pizza was soggy! And it had zero sauce, it was just dough with very salty cheese. I was so hungry and expected this pizza to be amazing because of the reviews, but I am so disappointed, and since I couldn't finish the pizza, still hungry :( there goes $14 down the drain.

I ordered the boromeo (roasted garlic, spinach, mozzarella, ricotta) for takeout. The service was really great and everything was ready on time and smelled deliciously garlicky in the box. It was probably so fast since there was no one eating there at 8 PM on a Friday. The pizza was large (bigger than Harry's) and about the same price as Harry's. We did let it sit for a while so the cheese texture was a bit gluey and the ricotta didn't seem really that fresh, but I prefer it on top rather than under the layer of gooey mozzarella. I gave it 3 stars because everything was fine until I got to the crust. For some reason it tasted distinctly like soap and was basically inedible. The taste wasn't detectable under the toppings, but the last piece of crust (usually a fave of mine) gave me flashbacks of the punishment for cursing. My friend also agreed about the distinctive taste. I'm hesitant to give this place another try because of this when Harry's is so close and so reliable.

The pizza was horrible. But there is more to the problem than just the pizza. I ordered online, and they delivered me the wrong pizza, which was also cold. I called and they sent me another pizza, which was also wrong but at least it was hot. I took a bite and wanted to spit it out! It was super gross! It had spices (thyme or rosemary) all over it but I could not taste any of them, it was very strange. Maybe old spices?? The dough was blah, the sauce was blah, and the cheese was the gross part! What kind it was I have no idea, certainly not mozzarella like it said it was. Even though I asked for light cheese it was pilled high and tasted of low quality, and simply overpowering in taste/composition. Two stars for attempting to fix the problem, but the pizza was not for me or my bf. Perhaps since I'm from up north I'm used to a different kind of pizza, but I never knew I had such high standards until I moved down here! The hunt for good pizza in Miami continues!

The food here is so good. I try something new every week on purpose because, they have never let me down. Last night I had the brussel sprouts and then the kale, butternut squash pizza w/pine nuts on whole wheat. Amazing! It's a small hidden place with a powerful punch. Hope they don't go anywhere because they are one of my local favorites.

Italian is my favorite kind of food, and up until recently that style armed to be missing from the Design District's culinary boom. I can now add Pizzeria Lemoni to that list. I stopped by needing some sustenance and comfort food after a Wynwood event, and on the recommendation of a Basel friend. Stepping inside, the decor is pleasantly dimly lit, with a balanced mix of hipster bistro and family trattoria. Think wood beams om the roof, kitchen utensils as wall decor and the jazz channel of Pandora playing. Extra credit that a Frank Sinatra song played while I was dining! Although a touch pricey, my caprese salad was delicious with tender grape tomatoes, mozarella balls, and fresh spinach with basil mixed in. There was also lettuce in the salad but I don't eat that :) Main course was Hawiian Pizza (I think they call it the "pio") with generous toppinga of ham, pineapple and a decent spread of marinara sauce. I added the oil with red pepper flakes and went to spicy pizza heaven. They also have a secure parking lot in the back, just call and they'll buzz you in. Mangia, mangia!

Who would have guessed this little hole in the wall could pack such a mean punch? It is truly the ideal long lunch location. I recommend their vino + pizza special as the perfect way to ensure your Friday afternoon is unproductive. The worn wooden tables and rustic bench seating make you feel like you're not edging the dingy outskirts of the Design District (unless you look out the windows that is) and the price belies the caliber and freshness of their food. Truffle oil and eggplant bruschetta and spinach, mushroom and shaved parmesan pizza are just a few of the temptations you'll find hiding at this hidden gem.

Ambiance ...?, waitress very nice, I wish there was more space ,tables on top of each other Don't talk sex with your date, people on the next table are there, listening in your conversation I guess is what I do....(listen) but it a great place

Alright, so I'm not gonna go Bob Kaufman on this place, but the pizza and delivery service was on point. FYI, they only have two pizza sizes 12" or 16" inch, so... If you like Pepperoni on your pizza, I recommend ordering the San Benedicto (the 16" was $15.00)-- also great for newbies -- very tasty pizza consisting of Pepperoni, tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella cheese. My big complain was the greasiness of the pizza -- almost too greasy --- so the pizza deserves 3/5 stars. However, I saw some pictures shots of their pasta bowls, and I have to say, it looks really, really good. As others have said, it's great place to bring a date because it's secluded in a remote area in the Design District. I was leaning towards three-stars, but quick service and a promising menu's convincing enough of four-stars. P.S.- If you want to check out their menu before heading over or calling for delivery, you're going to have to go to their Facebook page (they don't have an online menu, yet). Here's their Facebook page: facebook.com/pages/La-pi…

Best pizza in Miami hands down! I am SSSUUPPPEEERRRR picky when it comes to pizza! If you like N.Y. style, i.e., thin & crispy; then you are going to LOOOVVVVEEEE this place! Plus they have a whole wheat option, which makes me feel less guilty when I order my pie ;) Tastes so good my fiance didn't even know it was wheat crust! LOL! It has impressed not only me but every guest I've had over! So so soooo good! Toppings range from authentic to elegant and everything in between. So far, I've just had the pizzas and the antipasti plate. Everything delish! To top it off I was just delivered my fave, the Margarita pizza + a bottle of white wine( I didn't know they could do that, but they did!). What's NOT to love about that on a lazy Friday night!?!? Highly recommend trying it out! The large Margarita is $14, waaaayyyy cheaper than any chain and so much better! I can go on and on...... but I have a slice waiting for me ;)

How do some places stay in business? Miami, do yall know how to make pizza or what? We bought a large double cheese, pepperoni, sausage, half mushroom and olive pizza, a chicken parm, 3 bottles of orange crush and a small piece of chocolate cake. Grand total $67 with tip. This was the biggest waste of money ever. I really don't know what I was thinking getting pizza in Miami.

Great vegan selection! Wonderful staff! Only gave it 4 stars because the pizza I ordered was a little too salty. Plan to go again and will upgrade my rating if the pizza is better the second time around.

This Lemoni is 2 stores down from Lemoni Cafe and run by the same charming owners. Now, it is hard for me to decide between the 2. I love the Cafe, but after having eaten here twice, I love this one too. I had pizza the first time (real pizza -- delicious!). The second time, I had vegetarian lasagna that was made to order. They make your dish up fresh so if it comes with something you don't like, you can leave it out (for me it was mushrooms). The lasagna was quite delicious, such a good flavor. It was served with some AMAZING homemade bread. The meal was reasonably priced, about $12. My server was delightful; so efficient and like I knew her my entire life. Now, I will talk about the place. This place has amazing ambiance. I love it. The inside is decorated so cute, and the owners' attention to detail is unsurpassed. It makes you feel like you are eating with your big family. There is just a quaint charm about it that is hard to find in Miami. I love it. You can also sit outside on a nice day, but be sure to go inside and look at all the decorations - it's like a little art museum with all these cooking things all over the walls. Anyway, I love and will be back. Again, now it is hard to choose from here or 2 doors down at their cafe! I have one suggestion: I know everybody deserves a day off, but I really really wish they were open on Sunday; both places are closed Sundays.

Awesome oven type pizza in Miami. Get a margarita pizza with house wine. Everything from the eggplant bruschetta to meatballs to lasagna is fantastic. I went around just to try new places to find somewhere. Don't get me wrong this isn't a five class restaurant with New York style pizza, it's just a great laid back place.

Eugenia and Assia from Lemoni Cafe just opened La Pizzeria di Lemoni two doors up on NE 2 Ave in the Buena Vista neighborhood. Gourmet thin crust pizza, baked pastas, salads and organic beer and wine in a cozy setting with wallet friendly prices! Another great addition to Miami's new Restaurant Row!

Every part of this experience has me questioning my current residency in SF. Service, ambiance, quality of ingredients, presentation and outdoor seating make this a perfect spot for quiet gatherings, dates or a solo nirvana like experience. Arugula salad with beets, fennel, almond, tangerines and red wine vinaigrette is spot on. Grilled veggie pizza is to die for and super authentic. Prices are set below where they could be - I honestly don't want to write this review Bc I don't want to blow this spot up and ruin the quiet, local vibe. But without a doubt - SAVING BEST FOR LAST - the shrimp scampi appetizer is the greatest shrimp dish I've had since traveling the Italian coastline. SAUCE MUST HAVE! Ill be Coming back regularly while I'm in town.

I have been looking all over for the pizza that I have "in my mind's eye and my mind's stomach" and last night, I found it! I can't believe there isn't a huge waiting line at this restaurant. Once you try it, you'll know what I mean. We had the simple cheese calzone and it was "everything" I've been dreaming about! The crust is crisp and soft at the same time in different places, the ricotta cheese is over flowing and the mozzarella is SO MUCH, it's exactly what I always attempt to have when I order a cheese pizza that gives you those "extra free toppings".. I always just add extra cheese on top of extra cheese, and it never comes out as GOOD as this calzone!! So flavorful and you just HAVE to love cheese, or this is not for you! We also had the manicotti and the vegetarian lasagna and we sounded like "When Sally met Harry" it was so delicious! What an incredible find, I think we are going back there tonight!

Delicious. Pizza. Delicious. Meatballs. Delicious. Bread. We had a bit of a law student get together the other night at Pizzeria di Lemoni and ended up staying for two hours. A small, broody, eclectic restaurant with a jaunty Italiano chef logo--I really, really enjoyed it. The meatball appetizer was delicious. "Breadier" than the typical restaurant meatball, they were nice and light--and served with great bread to soak up the accompanying sauce. We ordered about six pizzas, each smelling and looking better than the next. Ours--the Deira, was topped with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, and olive oil. Wow. It was good. On a side note, their beer selection is great. Not to say its extensive, but they have a nice collection of Florida beers that complement their food (and their attitude). My choice, the Holy Mackerel, is exactly EXACTLY the type of beer I love...light and sweet. So, I was satisfied. You'll definitely find me back at Pizzeria di Lemoni sometime soon.

Arrived Hungry, Left Starving I ordered the Adela which has meatballs, green & red peppers, onions, tomato sauce, mozzarella. It was not an adventurous selection, but one I considered safe given this was my first time dining at this establishment. After waiting what seemed and eternity (the place was empty), my pizza arrived. The first slice did not separate from the pie easily as it had a stretchy consistency. When I attempted to bring the slice from the plate to my mouth, the cheese and toppings slid off revealing a crust as soggy as an old dish sponge. I have a rule with pizza: If it requires a fork and knife, I'm not eating it. In this case I broke my rule for the sake of the review I felt compelled to write. I cut into the gooey mound on my plate and took a bite. The vegetables were near raw and the meatballs tasted powdered. It was simply unacceptable. I let my server know that I would not be eating another slice. She offered to have it remade, but I refused. As she walked away I heard her say to another server "I guess we're eating some pizza!". I hope they enjoyed it! When the check arrived the pizza I sent back was still listed as a charge. I pointed this out and they removed it from check. Perhaps they forgot to comp my pizza because they were too busy eating it, or simply thought this one was on me. The experience was lousy from the apathetic and unprofessional service to the soggy pizza. I will not be returning.

I ate at the location and the crust was soggy. It was completely wet. I literally had liquid under my pizza. I asked them to take it back and make it crispy, and they did. The cheese was too salty. I also tried the pasta Alfredo with ham and peas and it was not good at all. I'm definitely not going back.

La Pizzeria Di Lemoni is an adorable little pizza spot in the design district. They have pots and pans nailed all over the walls which gives it certain hipster vibe. We went on a weekday and there was ample seating available. Parking can be tough since it's not in the best neighborhood. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and a cozy little bar area. My boyfriend and I got the Borromeo pizza with meatballs. The service was friendly and accommodating. We thought the pizza could have been cooked for a few minutes longer and the sauce itself was a little bland, but the pizza as a whole was pretty good- the taste of the crust was excellent- a little salty just how I like-and thin and crispy. Definitely great pizza for Miami, which as whole is lacking in the pizza department. I like their extensive menu/all the inventive topping combinations and it's a great place to go on a chill date with someone you love. We will be back to try another pizza soon!

As a Design District resident it's hard to find good Italian food nearby that is not overpriced and overrated since Pizza Volante closed its doors. Luckily the purveyors of Lemoni Cafe have decided to open a Pizzeria right next door to their current location. It is excellent! My wife and I split a Chicken Parmesean and a small Mereci Pizza. The Chicken Parm was great. The chicken, breading and sauce were perfect. The portion was a good size, no skimping here. The pizza was really good. The crust was excellent as was the cheese and sauce. The sauce was a little sweet and very fresh. The interior is pretty basic and no non-sense, same as Lemoni Cafe. On a nice night you can take advantage of the outside seating. Make sure to check out the Pizzeria. Definitely worth your while,

Good food, shitty service. They brought desert out before SO was done eating, just drops it on the table. Brings bill before we even started eating desert. Walks away before we are done talking. We were never rude nor dismissive. Mind you this is at 4:30 in the afternoon, not closing time.

All the little restaurants in the Buena Vista area are so cute. It wasn't too crowded when we we went so it was pretty relaxing type atmosphere. The specials looked interesting and affordable (ones that included a bottle of wine) - I'm a big fan of Adiamos and Harrys for pizza, but I'm always looking for good Italian food like pastas. I had the veggie lasagna- really good, and looked fresh too. Def. will come back - nice place for drinking wine and having a relaxing evening.

This is a great pizzeria. My fiance and I first went to this pizzeria about a week or two after going to Harry's. While we thought Harry's is OK (it pains me to say that because I am a huge Michael Schwartz fan), we thought this place was excellent. Where we thought Harry's got a little too cute with the pizza, we thought the opposite of Lemoni. The pizzas were simple and delicious. The place has a great beer selection and is very reasonably priced. A real go to spot. Drinks over at the Blue Piano, and pizza at Lemoni's is just about the perfect Friday night.

Its a shame that the delivery service kills the food. This place uses GetMe delivery and I refuse to use any business who does so. Tried to use Getme once and after I called and placed my food order they call me to say the delivery charge was $15 not the original $3.95 I was quoted BEOFRE I ordered. To top it off when I complained the manager called me back and said oh sorry for the confusion Ill charge you 50% off so it will be $25. WHAT?!?!?!? Hello do you people listen or understand questions! A shame because then I had to cancel my order and thats not my style. Business should think twice before using this company to represent their business.

Get any pizza with the add on of roasted garlic.... Im in love with this place. Also, the two house wines go for 15 a bottle....I love this place. And in all honestly it blows Harry's pizzeria out of the water.

When it comes to pizza, everyone's an expert... When it comes to Limoni's pizza, everyone's a fan. Put the ongoing battle of "best crust" on hold, because we might have a universal winner. The owners of Limoni Café's, recently opened an adjacent pizzeria in the design district. La pizzeria Di Limoni, with its homey and quaint atmosphere, offers a variety of toppings on their signature pies, as well as Italian classics like savory meatballs and eggplant bruschetta. Sure, carbs are bad, but this is the place to be bad. Gluttony schmottny, go on and indulge, be as bad as you wanna. It'll be worth every calorie.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
