The food was amazing and the service was great! We tasted many things in the menu and everything we tasted was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed!

Hidden gem, wouldn't think much looking at the outside but wow do I love the seafood here. The shrimp ceviche in red sauce it beautiful, very sweet and sour like. The calamari rice mixture is amazing and the calamari is made perfectly. They honored the free item for checking in. It was also good! The fried fish and shrimp had great flavor. I just didn't like the fish ceviche it wasn't up to par with the shrimp one. But everything else was perfection which I was I chose 5 stars anyways.

Large portions, great taste, great value, great service. It's sort of unknown, which is an advantage in my opinion. Ecuadorian food with other Latin fusion on the menu. Conoce la comida Ecuatoriana, te va a enamorar.

Fried calamari, awesome sea food rice and garlic grilled shrimp ! Best fresh fried calamari. Great taste! Spent $40 on all this & 2 drinks, and 2 desserts! Try: tres leches! Will come back more frequently

The food was ok. It was seasoned VERY heavily! Everything was very salty! All you could really taste was the saltiness. The mofongo was terrible. It had too much garlic in it. It wasn't moist at all, very dry. The place was completely empty, which was weird. We were there at 6 pm on a Saturday... No music was playing so it was just awkward! Lol

I have been twice to this restaurant and found the food to be refreshing different and fresh. The portions are large, well presented, good taste and reasonable. A nice combination. I will return often. I did return often. The whole fried fish was great and fresh plus another day I tried the Seafood Rice, It's really loaded with plenty of seafood and delicious. Our friends had the palomilla steak with 3 sides and surprisingly big and thick for the price and being a seafood restaurant.

My cousin saw this place Trip Advisor and came in search of Peruvian food. We were pleasantly surprised when were arrived as they offered a variety of options from various Latin American Countries. I had the Curry fish with rice and I almost licked the plate afterwards. we went during the daytime so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The prices were decent for the amount of food served. I would highly recommend!

Ok first of all, they are not offering 1 main free to yelper any more. What you will hear from owner will be it was expired yesterday which is also mentioned on their website. I checked their website right away but found no message about yelpers deal expired. He said he will offer us 10% discount instead, which was pretty nice too yet still feel bad as we were expecting for more. Food took so long to be served. One of them is cold dish so I really dont understand why it took so long to come out. When we got the food, it was way too salty in most way. Fried rice quality were very similar to cheap Chinese restaurant and it was not amazing as other review wrote. I think owner is trying many things but I want to ask him to hire more people because we were pretty much abandoned by wait staffs and they were not too crowded anyway. I feel bad that I am giving them 2 stars but I dont give you extra star because you gave me d/c or free food. This is my first trip for coming Miami. I do not think I will ever come back here or recommend here to any of my references.

So this is the same address as a restaurant recommended on Diners, Dive-ins and Dives from the Food Network. My boyfriend and I plugged in the address on the gps and it was not named Benny's Seafood when we arrived. However it was still a seafood restaurant, which was what we wanted and we had just driven 30 minutes to get there so we were committed to trying it. We shared the fish ceviche and the seafood and rice entree. Both dishes tasted fresh and the portions were large enough to feed both of us for 2 meals. The staff doesn't speak very much English and we had one communication error in a drink order but other than that the service was polite and tentative.

Not so good Ecuadorian food. The service is not so good also and the prices are quite expensive for their quality. I do not recommend this place.

We were looking for the former restaurant in this location, as well as their highly-praised mofongo. The managers assured us that the same cook was still there, and he would make it for us. The staff was very attentive and brought us empanadas and other samples to try. Delicious food and great service for a couple of out-of-towners!

I had the shrimp in coconut sauce with white rice and tostones. I thought the flavor was great however the portions are way too small and the shrimp had the tails on (I don't like tails on shrimp unless it's cocktail shrimp) I thought the food was ok, but not out of this world.

New restaurant near FIU. Visited for dinner, casual atmosphere. Delicious seafood with fair prices. Had the encocado mixto, great coconut flavor with fresh fish. Lemonade is made fresh and was very refreshing. Will visit again.

I ventured into this local Miami restaurant for Father's Day and it exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing, never had any problems with food or drinks. I was also impressed by the high quality of the food. Everything felt like it was cooked on the spot, as my fried seafood appetizer came out really hot and crispy. I was impressed by the seafood itself: actual decent size shrimp, tasty calamari and crispy octopus. Definitely try their homemade lemonade, it is to die for! I ate the arroz marinero, which is a seafood rice. At other places, it can be bland and lacking, but here, I couldn't stop eating it. It had mussels, clams, and jumbo shrimp and had just the right amount of spices. The portions are big as well, so come with a hearty appetite. My daughter had the mahi-mahi sandwich, and it was perfectly fried, and did not have a greasy aftertaste, which is a good thing. My hubby had the fried fish filet, which took over the entire plate. He loved it as well. They have other non seafood items on the menu, such as Churrasco steak, etc. If you are looking to find a good seafood restaurant, definitely do not go further than this place! We also tried the flan for dessert and their homemade crepes with banana and nutella. So delicious and creamy! It's hard for me to find somewhere that I can eat seafood and actually appreciate the size and quality of it, and I found it here! Definitely returning to try other stuff on the menu.

Great fresh seafood, good Ecuadorian cuisine. Moderately priced. We had the coconut shrimp dish, ceviche appetizer, and some empanadas de verde. It was delicious. Cons: The server wasn't rude but she was extremely unprofessional, mumbled, did not respond and would bolt out without letting us finish our order. "Let me get a ceviche and...wait a minute, did she just leave? LOL" (Not kidding) Tip to management: Put more than one server on a Friday during lunch hours.
