I eat very often here....actually not here because I take things to go or they deliver me. The place in itself is not nice and I will not enjoy to eat there for sure. But as I say I take to go so I just review for the food in itself. The breakfast are good eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, I always take a Cuban coffee and a orange juice with:) and it is very fresh! I even have to take two now because my daughter drink it all.... For the food I always take the same that I liked a lot carne con papa (only Thursday), and chicken parmigiana with rice and plantain. The prices are low and you have enough for your craving. I highly recommend you to try especially if you want something different than an Italian in downtown...

This place is a hidden gem in Miami. I was in Miami on business for 8 days and ate there a lot. My assistant and I even brought home food on the plane. The owner is a sweet heart that treated us like her nieces. We cant get enough of this place and oh did we order. We both had lunch and drinks and side dishes and it was soooooo affordable. Cant wait to go back

What can I say, I am a fan of this place! I order from here often, mainly for breakfast and honestly, you can't go wrong with the price. I usually order the same dish, but it really tasty. I usually get the Breakfast, Spinach, Onion and Cheese omellette with egg whites and I love it! Highly recommend it, if your looking for a low calorie, yummy breakfast item.

I go to lunch here all the time. Amazing Latin food. Cheap and Good. The ladies know me as a regular they are amazing!! Fast Service and Yummy Cuban Coffee :) Try La Media Noche!!! And Vaca Frita :)

This small quaint cuban cafe offers your typical cuban plates-- quickly and cheaply. If you need to satisfy your hunger with a quick cuban bite then this place can take care of that need -- especially if you're stuck in downtown. I had the picadillo which I found to be rather bland and nothing special. My lunch companion had the chicken bistec which he really enjoyed but I also found rather bland. I wouldn't mind coming back here and trying additional dishes, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I find myself ending up at this place for lunch when i just want some Latin food. All the other places in downtown that have Cuban food either make you go to the bath room with a quickness or have the WORST service EVER! Now its super tacky and the florescent lighting is annoying but at least the food is fresh and taste pretty good. The ladies , all tho they are a bit dry, If you frequent the place they open up a bit and say hello...

I went here for lunch with 5 of my co-workers today and it is my new secret place in downtown Miami for a quick Cuban meal. The service was fast and the food was good. Everybody at the table after tip and tax had a bill under $10. Who does not like the sound of that? The skirt steak looked amazing, the shrimp special I was told was off the wall good, and my Ropa Vieja was so tasty. If you are in downtown and tired of all the fancy restaurants and want to go back to the real roots of Miami this is the spot. It will not let you down for the taste and price.

Let me begin by clarifying that this restaurant is NOT in Brickell, but in Downtown Miami, and yes, there's a difference. My co-workers constantly order breakfast and lunch from here, and always had positive things to say about the food, quality, and the price, so on one of those days that I did not feel like brown bagging my lunch, I decided to give them a try. They had a grilled chicken salad for $7, which seemed pretty reasonable to me, and free delivery. How can you go wrong? The salad arrived in less than 20 minutes, which was pleasantly surprising, and had a good amount of chicken (an entire boneless, skinless breast), and a hearty lettuce and tomato portion. I still could not believe it was only $7. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the balsamic vinaigrette provided a tangy flavor while not causing a dent in my diet. Very flavorful, healthy, fresh salad. No wilted leaves. I have never been to the restaurant, but I imagine it's probably a very small, humble location. I would definitely order from here again. It's simple, yet tasty, like something your mom would make you if you stopped by her house to visit during lunch.
