They may have been good while in Miami Beach but what I received today is not quality and definitely not worth $50!!! I've posted pics of the disaster they delivered to me.

Pretty yummy. For downtown this is the best sushi I've had so far. Tasted fresh - combos were yummy. I'll come again and tell my friends. Don't known if I'll try a Kone again - kinda tough to eat. Otherwise- good lunch spot - great addition to DWntwn miami
Had a late lunch here. Limited selection of rolls to pick from. The atmosphere is quiet, there's a good amount of seating, not too big, not too small. The service was pretty sketchy though; Appetizer came out after my lunch was served, drink was empty the entire time... Having said that, the two rolls I had were absolutely delicious (dragon and a crunchy monster (I think)). I would go back because of how fresh, tasty and well prepared the sushi itself was.

Went for the happy hour and fell in love with the food and the service! All the dishes were delicious but my favorite was the salmon cappacio with truffle oil, so much flavor awesome service (hey Ana!) and the kones are all must have (specially the sweet ones ) great deals on happy hour(3-7pm) and All You Can Eat (yep you read it right!)

Since a new location calls for a new review, I'll gladly go along with that. First time in new location downtown and still delicious. Their cuisine is Japanese, with a Brazilian kick...great combo! They now have a very busy lunch hour, being surrounded by office buildings that they didn't have at the MB location. Street parking, surely easier to find after 6pm) and a garage right across the street. Their All-you-can-eat, is normally $26.95 Mon.-Thur, and on Tuesday, $20.oo, for ladies only! They have excellent specials on other nights too and even a Yelp check in offer! I'd never ordered the all-you-can-eat, before at the old spot, but I've also never found myself wishing a restaurant offered LESS food, and SMALLER portions. The offerings on the AYCE menu are tooo generous. I thought I'd recieve small plates and could sample more choices. WRONG. Started with the wakame ...okay, normal portion, but like gari, it goes down easily. Then what I assumed would be a few tempura veggie bites was a big-azz full sized plate wth at LEAST 12 items including shrimp..which in- and- of- itself could have easily constituted my entire dinner! Then, (and I asked) if the rolls were full sized with each reorder or just pieces and I was assured that they were half-rolls. Good, I ordered the Love Park and Ebi Special, leaving me what I thought would be enough room for my favorite Romeo and Juliette dessert kone. Keep in mind, I ordered all of this before they brought any of it. True, the Ebi and Love Park were only half rolls...which probably measured a good solid eight inches of food..EACH! Pleaded with them to only bring me the "mini" dessert cone. ...and all was delicious, prepared well and atractivelly presented and served in a timely manner even with a full house. In fact, if you order off the regular menu, I'm sure you'll be pleased. Their Cusabe sauce is yummy and different. Their Rock Shrimp is very tasty..and did I mention the portions were generous? ;-). Servers Creusa, the model of efficiency, and Gustavo, warm and friendly, and David, the personable general manager rounded out my first (of many, I hope),experience at their new location. xo-a

We had a great time here last Saturday! The food was great and the service even better, which is nice for a change in Miami! We ordered the crunchy monster and the spicer tuna, absolutely delicious! The saki was perfect and made our night! We definitely have to give a shout out to the manager on staff (I think his name is Dave) he came by and checked on us, and was very charming! Thanks for a great experience! Can't wait to come back! We're telling all of our friends

Clean. Presentable. Easy in and easy out no nonsense service. Friendly and the fact food was served hot, in the right time frame and it was reasonably priced. I would give it 5 stars but the food / rolls weren't great. They were fine. Tasty. Great presentation but among the appetizer and two rolls, I wasn't super excited about the taste and freshness. Highly recommend. Good place.

I think I've finally just decided to give up on sushi here in Miami. I cam here by myself last week just because I was craving some sushi and Kone had dropped a takeout menu at my apartment previously and the menu didn't look bad. The restaurant is pretty nice. They have some outdoor seating and the inside is pretty modern with some good decor. It was pretty empty despite it being a Saturday night, but that might be because the restaurant is in Downtown. I decided to order the Magma roll and the King of Sobe roll because I love spicy rolls. The rolls were just mediocre. They were definitely bigger than other rolls I've had at other restaurants in Miami. However, the rice for the roll was kinda warm and also was soggy. It was definitely not the correct type of rice for sushi. Also, the rolls were just not spicy enough. They were barely spicy. There could have been more fish and the fish could have fresher. For 11-15 bucks per roll, I definitely expect to get a better quality sushi roll. On top of that, they charged me an 18% gratuity...for ONE PERSON. REALLY? Like it's understandable if you charge me 18% for a party of like 6 or more, but I was literally by myself. Sigh.. I don't think I'll be coming back to Kone. It just wasn't worth the money and the 18% gratuity left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely giving up on Miami sushi. It's disappointed me too many times.

Ordered delivery and was not impressed. My $14 roll was tiny, with microscopic amounts of shrimp and salmon. They skimp even on the rice (which was overcooked) and mask the lack of seafood with syrupy sauces. My tempura cheesecake was a nice size, but $7.95 is a lot, and it was just plain, no whipped cream, no chocolate syrup, nothing to make it look pretty. Also, by the time my order arrived, it was soft, room temperature and soggy. There are far better sushi delivery options in the downtown/Brickell area.

Kone recently moved from South Beach to Downtown and I think it was such a good choice to move. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and perfect for a quick date night or a large group of people. They have a special that almost seems to good to be true. They offer an ALL YOU CAN EAT special which includes appetizers, rolls, nigiri, hand rolls and dessert all for ONLY $28. Even though it's only offered Monday-Thursday, it's a great excuse to get out of the house and go on a date before the weekend. The best thing is that they put a lot of there best menu items on the all you can eat. It's not one of those grimy places that only give you small portions or only a few things off of the menu for an All You Can Eat option. My top two favorite rolls from there are on the All You Can Eat Menu, those rolls are the Shaggy Dog and the Crunch Monster. So that worked out well! As for drinks, they do an awesome job. The drink I always get is the lychee caipirinha. So much lychee, but be careful they taste so good it's easy to drink them down quick but they'll have you feeling pretty good after a few! Overall one of my favorite sushi restaurants and such good service every time I go! I would suggest this spot to anyone I know!

Best happy hour sushi in downtown!!! I get sushi here from once a week to every other week. 4-7 they offer 4-5$ price on wine, beer and sake cocktail. Food items on happy hour menu vary from 3-7$ Ika sansai, seaweed salad, edamame, dumplings, spicy chicken, love park roll, shaggy dog, magma, crunchy monster etc The sauces are great, from ponzu to spicy mayo, even in house soy sauce tastes different and better.. Wasabi maybe? They also have an all you can eat special week nights. I order pick up through eat 24 regularly, sweet and simple. Mistakes were never made. The food tastes good, the service is kind..I particularly enjoy Ana as my server, the specials are great. Brought guests and recommended it to some friends, everyone enjoyed it. Will be back soon!! Yummy sushi and vino!!

The food we had was good. We came in for a late lunch (around 2) and though it was fast, fresh and delicious. The portions are on the small side but the service was lightning fast!! Overall would do it again. One thing I noted is that management seems to have ignored every complaint on yelp. To me that's never a good sign. My wife had the coconut Brazilian desert and thought it was ok..

Best sushi ever! I can name at least 3 or 4 rolls that are amazing! My favorite by far is the M.O.M. which consists rice, avocado rolled in salmon. The pure protein, top notch and the crab salad are to die for! This place is always my first stop when I am in Miami, a must try! If you are into sweets you should also try their Kone desserts...

Today, I visited Kone for the very first time, and I was highly disappointed with my experience. I arrived at around 1:00 PM, and the restaurant was practically empty aside from the hostess/server, manager, and food preparer. I thought, "This is great. I should be able to grab the gift card I need and be on my way in no time." W-r-o-n-g. The hostess informed me that the manager (who was preoccupied with a phone call) was the only one who could process my request. So I waited and listened to him banter back and forth with the individual on the other end of the phone. They discussed some celebrity or model who had visited the restaurant the night before, and I even heard the manager say, "She took pictures and videos of the food and atmosphere. She will be back for sure." So I waited a bit longer, and while I waited, I started observing my surroundings. The individual behind the sushi bar had his phone in his glove covered hand. The goal of the glove is to be sanitary. I'm not sure where his phone has been, so I certainly hope he removed that glove and replaced it with a new one before prepping anyone's food. I regret that I made a special trip to Kone today because I left without a gift card, and I had to blow $9 on parking for nothing. The phone conversation surrounding the celebrity/model was more important. (**Please note my review strictly pertains to the level of service I received. I cannot comment on the quality, taste, or value of the food at this establishment because I've never eaten here.**)

Nothing was right, except for the cute guy at the FOH. Ordered steam gyoza- the insides were ice cold, had to send the back to the pan Tuna kone- could've been good but my server let it sit on the counter for too long and the seaweed got wet and sticky. Not cool. Bottom line- The service was slow and inattentive, the food was meh and it didn't hit the spot.

Their fried rolls are fantastic. The volcano roll was awesome, came with a crab salad on top. The tsunami roll was weird--I didn't like it personally. The edamame was a bit too salty. I was a frequent at this sushi restaurant for take out. I ordered so many times that the waiter who took my order already recognized me. Then, suddenly, a new person is answering the phone taking orders and you can, (1) BARELY understand her, (2) she insists on calling me by a different last name just because alphabetically the first last name that appears starts with a letter "B", (3) the sushi rolls are getting smaller and smaller by the day, (4) I didn't realize how tiny the sushi rolls were getting until tonight I go to place an order for two people (my husband and I) and the lady tells me my order total is $91.20!!!! i nearly flipped! All i ordered was two shrimp tempura appetizers, one MO ROLL, one side of white rice, karage chicken appetizer and a tsunami roll! That's when I realized that Kone Sushi is OUT OF THEIR MIND for charging such an extreme amount of money for tiny rolls, and their customer service person taking my order isn't even an English speaker! I said, forget this! I'm ordering from Sushi Siam! Sorry, KONE, you lost me as a customer and you know I was a darn good one too! I've definitely experienced better and I'm just sorry that I stopped going to my very reliable Siam for the past 3 weeks! IT's such a shame that you don't even value your customers! Lower your prices and make it worth it! I prefer to spend a little more money and get NICE BIG ROLLS from Sushi Siam than to order from KONE ever again!

I've been coming to this Sushi restaurant since they first opened in South Beach. This new downtown location is much more convenient. came here to satisfy a sushi craving during lunch. it's a small restaurant, in between several other small cafes/restaurants. we were seated promptly during business lunch hour in downtown miami. we ordered the lunch specials. the menu is a little confusing, you have to cross reference the lunch menu to the main menu to understand what you're ordering. I ordered the lunch kone #2. it came with the typical salad with ginger dressing, a kone- you pick what goes in it, and a half sushi roll. we also got the yelp deal for a free dessert and we chose the Nutella strawberry and it was soo good! the sushi is standard, decent lunch spot. It would be better if they had more options for choosing what you wanted in your lunch combo.

The food is outstanding and the sakerinhas are the best ones I've ever had (made with sake and your choice of fruit, a must try). The sashimi carpaccio is my favorite! Best Sushi in Miami!

Great sushi! Amazing for group dinners. And great delivery service. It's my go to since I live on Brickell and work in downtown. Love it!

came here to satisfy a sushi craving during lunch. it's a small restaurant, in between several other small cafes/restaurants. we were seated promptly during business lunch hour in downtown miami. we ordered the lunch specials. the menu is a little confusing, you have to cross reference the lunch menu to the main menu to understand what you're ordering.
