This is a classic, American diner 35 yrs in the making. I really enjoyed the ambiance as this place was PACKED with locals. But not just any locals this was the Sunday post church crowd. Everything at this place was fast and the staff of about five was keeping it all moving well. This place reminded me of something on television... In a really good way.

I was happy with my purchase here but disappointed in the biscuits that everyone raved about. The expense of the meal considering the portion size also disappointed me.Service was quick also considering I called my order in and ordered off the menu. -Smothered chicken wings with onions, gravy. This was fantastic and not salty at all.I was charged extra for the gravy and onions since it was really fried chicken wings on the menu not smothered. -Mashed potatoes-okay but not homemade.A small amount considering the amount of chicken wings I was given. -Garden peas-regular taste without any special seasoning -Biscuits-they were humongous but not what I expected. They were soft and crumbly which I am not partial to. Overall,I would eat here again. When I have a taste for regular American food and do not mind the expense.

They fed me while I labored. Can you say more than that? This is a local diner down the street from the Miami Maternity Center, where I labored and gave birth to my beautiful baby girl, Josephine Marie, on Sunday. Their breakfast is good. particularly the biscuits. I can only speak as far as the takeout experience goes. We called ahead with the order, and it was ready fast, and still hot when it came back to me. Good enough I ordered it again the day after.

Amazing food! Prices are very reasonable! You can get breakfast and a drink for less than $10! They have a mirror over the cook so you can watch him cook your food! If you want some great breakfast come here!

I'm from New York so I'm a bit picky when it comes to diners. This southern style eatery can definitely compete with any diner from up North, but with a twist. I tried the authentic southern style breakfast: bacon, sausage, cheese grits, tomato gravy over biscuits and scrambled eggs. It was good! The one issue I have is with the dirty silverware. I can't stand dirty silverware in any eatery. For that it lost some points in my book. Located just off of 95 on NE 120 and NW 7th Ave makes it a convenient stop for commuters looking to make a quick stop for a reasonable price. BUT I'm a bit partial because it has a great name :)

This is definitely a place for the locals. The waitressess are the nicest in the planet and the food upholds the diner quality in good ole Southern fashion. I've been going there for years and always get the biscuits but this last visit, my friends tried the catfish and eggs. I am not a fan of catfish or seafood for that matter, but if anything the batter was very good and it was fried just right. They definitely stick to the huge sign hanging over their kitchen "If Cooked in Sight, Must be Right."

Jimmy's Place is part of the Jimmy's Diner local eatery and the dining experience and menu are somewhat different at each establishment. This location is in the industrial section of Miami off 441 and is frequented by the locals in that area including your sales reps that drop in for lunch. I ordered my regular breakfast of corned beef has and hash browns but at this location, it was a create your own menu rather than a NO. 5. The hash browns were not as crisp as the Biscayne Jimmys. After a visit to Jimmy's, you may need to calendar a stop at your gym for the following day!
