Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Excellent food. I've been here 3-4 times already and the food is always excellent. They are a new restaurant but are working on the service issues. Every time I return it gets better.

Great Food!!! Great Service!! Didn't like how long it takes, or the small portions! But I will definitely return! The food is EXCELLENT!! The owner was very sweet and gave us complimentary dessert!

I came to this restaurant with a large group of people after leaving an event. From the moment I walked in I could tell this was a family owned restaurant. The place is clean and has a good atmosphere. The problem is the staff is too slow, only one person doing everything. I asked an older gentleman who I assumed was a waiter, if we could start placing our orders and he told me "the waiter would be with you shortly". So after waiting a long time and watching the old man sitting down doing nothing, our waiter came and took our orders. The food came, I ordered the soup of the day so we could get out as fast as possible. It was good. I definitely don't plan on coming back.

This place sucks!! Don't waste your time. One hour and still no appetizers. Waiter that is confrontational and very rude. Took 35 minutes to get our check just so we could leave and go to another place to eat. Worst dining experience I think I have ever had.

I came here with a group of friends and will not be back. I should have looked at the reviews before bothering. It seems like most have the same issues I had. We had a reservation for 7:00 and when we arrived there were tables set up for us, when I say set up I mean there were two tables pushed together, no silverware, no napkins, no cups - not 'set' at all. We sat and ordered a round of sangria which arrived at the table in the expected amount of time. The restaurant was not full at all at this point, a couple of other tables had customers. Once the sangria arrived we ordered appetizers from a little boy who couldnt have been older than 13. One of the servers felt, at this point, to come over and tell us about these awful people at the next table who had the audacity to try and use their groupon. The nerve! (Should have seen this as a sign) This is where everything turned around. After 45 minutes waiting on our appetizers one of our group walked over to a waiter and inquired about the delay. He was met with a strange attitude and we became annoyed when we noticed that another table received their order when they had arrived much later than us. We concluded that our little server had forgotten to put our order in after receiving our drinks. 2 hours later and we have not tasted a bite. By this point we were furious and wanted nothing but to get out of there. The problem, aside from the complete lack of customer service, was that in spite of the fact that we specifically asked for our checks to be separate when we first sat own the little boy brought us one bill and it became a 35 minute issue to separate things between two couples. I understand that when you are a a family owned business that certain things are to be expected - but sitting 2 hours and not even tasting a bite of food in a 'restaurant' - give me a break! The staff has allot to learn about taking care of their customers. Dont even bother.

A friend if mine set up a dinner party for and after valentines get together. My husband and I arrived late to the party and proceeded to order sangria ($17) and a beer. We also ordered an appetizer. Our friends told us they had ordered appetizers 45 minutes earlier and they had not received it yet, should have known then it was a problem. My sangria came but my husbands beer took another 20 minutes. My husband got pissed at the old man and a beer finally showed up. The appetizer came for us but still not for my friends. The appetizer was small for the price, salmon on toast 3 pieces for $10. After asking for the waiter he finally came over and we asked about the other appetizers and he proceeded to tell us that the food was fresh and we had to wait. Needless to say we asked for the checks so we could leave and find another place to eat. Getting the check was another mission, 35 minutes for the idiot waiter to figure out how to divide the check for the group. He had to come back 4 times to ask the same question. We finally got finished and got the hell out of there and will never return. There was even another confrontation at a table with a couple that had a Groupon. They would not honor the coupon claiming you needed to let them know ahead of time. After a lot of cussing back and forth in the restaurant they left. Overall very poor!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone. They won't be In business very long.

I came to this restaurant with my husband and son on Sunday because I had bought a Groupon and wanted to check it out since it is near our home .The place is clean and has a good atmosphere. One waiter to do it all. The service is slow and haphazard. The owner (young lady) came out and talked to one of the tables. Totally ignored us and another table. She said that she has NO restaurant experience. It is evident by the lack of coordination, both in the front and back of the house. Told them she would come back and never saw her again. The waiter is too negative and confrontational so I knew that this would not be a nice dining experience. Too many TVs for such a small place which takes away from the mood that they are trying to create. This is not a sports bar, it is suppose to be an ITALIAN restaurant. The music is a bit loud. The prices are high for the small mom and pop place and because it is located in a shopping center. The fried calamari was very salty so it went back (also over priced for such a small portion). The pasta portions are small and everything is a la carte. You do not get salad or bread with your meal. The pasta tastes freshly made but has too much sauce, so it is overwhelming on the palate. I am surprised because in Italy (and they say they are Italian) the pastas are very lightly coated. I ordered the lasagna and it had a noodle with sauce and cheese on top. Too much stuff and too little noodle. Blob on my plate! My husband ordered the carbonara, wanted it with fettucine and not spaghetti. After going back and forth with the waiter, he said OK. Pasta came out with spaghetti and not fettucine. Did not want any more hazzle so he ate it. It was also interesting to see that a group of 16 showed up. They had reservations and even though the restaurant was empty, the tables had not been set up. So chaos! The folks brought their own wine and were told they could not do that. How about if you charge them a corkage fee ($10.00 per bottle) as they do in some places? The owner also has her kids helping out. Cute, but I want to be served by professionals who can make my dining experience pleasant. No trays for the glasses or food, so everything is delivered one at a time. Yikes! The man that greets you when you walk in just sits at the bar watching TV (not very professional). They need to put him to better use. There was nothing memorable about this place or the food. It has potential so the owner better wake up. She needs to ask the customers for feedback and make immediate changes (better management) to make this neighborhood restaurant a nice dining experience. There are too many restaurants in MIA and competition is fierce. I'd rather drive a bit and eat at an establishment that is not going to give me stress and where I can get more for my money. Il Tagliere, get your act together or you will not be in business long. I am a foodie and a great cook and can't imagine anyone giving this restaurant a 5-star rating (wondering if the 5 star reviews were written by family or friends).. Not worth it folks. Won't be back!
