You can make your own combination of sauces for the wings. Try the firecracker & coconut together. It's bomb AF. I also like the tomatoes& basil. I can make better fries at home though

My boyfriend and I go almost everyday! When I found out they opened one on 8&th right next to home I was the happiest girl! I've Always been welcomed with open arms. The wings are personally my favorite in town! The owner is very welcoming. Overall I think this place is great. Great food, great drinks, great customer service.

My cousin said she had the Mahi tacos and since I'm a sucker for fish tacos, I had to try them. Long story short: the tacos were bland and wet which made the tortillas soggy. The only thing I enjoyed was the garlic and parmesan broccoli. My cousin ordered something forgettable from the changeable insert with a side of fries that had the same garlic/parm sauce. OMG!!! Guh-rooooce!!! The fries were piping hot from the grease but the sauce did not translate well. I ate one literal fry. Just the smell of it turned me off. I think she liked her meal.. I mean she ate it, sooooo....... Outside of what I ordered, the atmosphere felt like any other Friday's or Chili's chain restaurant with red pleather booths, too many servers and not enough patrons (or vice versa), and a predictable menu of wings, burgers, and fries. Next time I am in Miami, I will not be making any efforts to stop in.

I was overall surprised to find a place like this in the backwoods of Kendall. The nice decor and outside nature of it just transported me to the Bahamas. As Caribbean as it can get, the waitress was over the top friendly and attentive. Now, I can't speak of the food, but the drink prices were so welcoming. Four drinks for under $20! Why wouldn't you?! Go ahead and sit out by the bar, and just enjoy the Miami weather at Hurricane Grill. I did skim over the menu, and if I had space, there were a lot of options to choose from. But, I do recommend coming here for some drinks.

I have eaten here twice & both times I had good food & a friendly server. The wings & sauces are def the star of the show but the pulled pork sliders & parmesan fries are also excellent. The cheesecake dessert was fantastic! The atmosphere itself is extremely laid back. It feels like a place right next to the beach. I don't know how to describe it any better than it just gives you a relaxed vibe. I really like its open feel. The inside shares a bar with the outside so you get to really enjoy the surroundings. Both times I ate there I noticed management walking around making sure everything was up to par which is a solid way to show you care about your customers experience. Prices are a bit higher than average on some items but overall it's not too bad. I think the one thing that stood out from my first visit was the pulled pork quesadilla. It seemed quite small for the cost. They have quite a few beers on tap & enough tv's to stay entertained if you just want to stop in for a cold brew after a long day. The Good: Food, Service, Management, Cleanliness, Beer Selection The Bad: Some cost to portion ratios seem off. It's a bit tough to locate as it's in the far back of a strip mall. Would I go for a third time? Yes.

My son and I walked in at 11 just as the place opened- and discovered we were the first diners here on the Grand Opening day! Judging from the atmosphere, the food and the service, this is going to be a hit! Nachos were fantastic: crisp, hot and a little spicy. Wings available with over 30 sauces (we had teriyaki and I had ancho chile lime- both were excellent)! Fries and chips were hot and crisp, the way they should be!! Beer selection was solid. Glad to have stopped in, and looking forward to becoming a regular! Great job!

This was my first time going to a Hurricanes because we don't have this franchise in Vegas. I would describe it as a sports bar mixed in with a little Margaritaville! The decor and the music is really beachy and fun. We started with a small order of wings for the table. When I tasted them I was impressed because the only wings I usually like is KFC'S hot wings and this local place back in Vegas called Northside Nathans. I tried Hurricanes wings with their coconut habanero sauce and I was in foodie heaven. There are so many more sauces to choose from but that one caught my eye. I liked the wings even more than my shrimp tacos which isn't easy because I love shrimp more than chicken but this wasn't the case this time. I also tried a side of the Carribean rice which was delicious it was yellow rice with black beans with little pineapple tidbits. When you come here I wouldn't leave without ordering some wings!!

One of my new favorite neighborhood hangouts. Love the wings. Love the service. Great place to watch the game. It reminds me of a Buffalo Wild Wings with a larger menu. In this area of West Kendall this is a welcome addition to our dining options.

I was looking for something new to try on a Friday. Looked up local places on yelp came across Hurricane grill. It is in a relatively new shopping plaza with plenty of parking available. The ambiance is super chill and low key. I appreciate this kind of atmosphere after working a long week. The decor is inviting and has an island feel to it. So for the food. The choice of wing sauce and seasoning is a bit overwhelming. We decided on the teriyaki since it is not spicy. Great choice, they were delicious. I had the fish tacos. The fish was well seasoned and the condiments were just right. The side of guacamole is $.99 extra and well worth it. We also ordered the Yuengling beer battered fish. Besides the fact that it is my favorite beer, it was good. There are a lot of choices of side dishes as well. I really enjoyed the Parmesan garlic fries. The kids menu is your basic kids menu. Burgers, Mac n cheese, and chicken fingers. If your kids are like mine they usually end up ordering from the adults menu. Portions are shareable. The only negative is that since there is an outside area/bar that leads to the restaurant I did notice quite a few flies. Not sure if it's always the case or was it just the weather but I'd like them to control the fly situation.

This place is a hidden jem. Love the layout inside and the food is to die for! I order the grilled mahi sandwich every time I come here. Sliders are also amazing! Price is spot on as well. I gave them 4 stars because they are always just a little slow. Other than that its a must try!

Came here today for the soft open. The menu was limited. I ordered the chicken salad wrap and although the flavor was good and had a nice little kick to it the presentation was not the most appetizing. Then I got wings with the boss sauce and the chipotle honey on the side. The boss sauce was a bit too tangy for me but I loved the smokiness of the chipotle honey. The fries were nice and crispy and the coleslaw was crunchy and not too overly dressed. For dessert I got the Salted Caramel cheesecake. It was very good and not too sweet. Looking forward to going back and exploring the rest of the menu.

I will say that this location is new so I feel that they have an excuse as to why no one really knows anything in there. On another note we Had a waitress tell us she was going to bring us a booster seat for our 1yr old because she didn't want to put a high chair at the end of our table. Overall food wise it wasn't all that. calamari was burnt to a crisp, wings were little and had no flavor. Waitress said she couldn't put in our order unless we picked a sauce... There are about 30sauces....Wish I could say I had a great experience but didn't, even my kids where over it. There staff is overwhelming to many people for one table and asking the same question. Couldn't eat with out some one asking if I was done or needed a refill. Also a little overwhelming is when they are cleaning your table while you're still eating. I give this place two stars because they just opened and I think there still getting a feel themselves of the place. The location is great and the inside is beautiful but that's as much as I will say.

Very accommodating regardless of groups size. Service was on point. Got there just in time to toast to with a few drinks so I was unable to order food. However, my friends were very pleased with the entrees they selected. PS bathrooms were nice and clean (a plus!!)
(4)Bre D.
First time trying this place. I ordered 3 of the "spiciest" sauces on my wings and was a bit disappointed none of them were spicy or hot. Overall the experience was ok..
(3)Jonathan L.
I ate here with my wife, first time at this franchise. I love the coco loco sauce and the boss. It deserves 5 stars because: 1. Service - exceeded the service expectation. Server was knowledgeable. 2. Location - in a nice area, well kept. 3. Food- I had the chicken wings and nachos. Which I loved. Next time the sliders. 4. Quantity/quality - I had more than enough food. I can taste the ingredients and it wasn't plain. Overall I look forward to coming back!

First time going here. At first the place looks very clean and spacious, great lay back atmosphere. Very few beers to choose from tab (draft). The wings weren't that good , we wanted the "new calamari "and the waiter said it was so longer on the menu, we ordered the chicken salad lettuce wraps instead and they looked right out of a can of dog food. Good place for maybe happy hour drinks but the food and WINGS were not good at all.
(3)Crystal G.
Absolutely love coming here! The food is excellent and the service is great. Food and drinks are inexpensive.
(5)Andrea S.
My Boyfriend and I go here often, we are in love with this place, the food is always amazing, service is great and prices are reasonable! plus it has a great beachy vibe to it, the location is a little hidden but I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

This is hands down the best Hurricane Grill & Wings location in Miami! Everything from the service staff, service quality, food quality, speed of service and overall environment is great! It's also very clean! The staff is friendly and very helpful. We frequent here 2-3 times per month and it's always a great experience. We also enjoy seeing the owner there and always being asked by him if everything is OK - his commitment to the location shows. We have not experienced any of the other challenges other review indicate. The best part is that you don't come out smelling like a friend chicken wing like you do in the other area wing spots. Good job Hurricane Grill

I'm going to give this restaurant 5 stars for a couple of reaaons: 1. We came on a Friday night at 8:00PM and the hostess was the most pleasant and let us know it will be a couple of minutes. The manager came and sat us 5 minutes later. 2. My husband is a beer connoisseur and was impressed with their beer selection. I also enjoyed my island sangria! 3. Our sever was new but was a hard worker. She was attentive and was extremely embarrassed when they brought me the wrong plate. She fixed the situation immediately. 4. The manager made sure we were doing good throughout the meal. 5. Family friendly environment 6. The food was good. My husband's wings were juicy and had good flavoring and my shrimp tacos were tasty. Nice to see new establishments in our area! Check it out!

I ordered wings to go last night. I was very patient because the place is new and so are the employees. They did a great job. I like the indoor outdoor bar setup, I can't wait to break it in. If I drink too much I can walk home

I've been here 2x; once work my fiancé, and once with a friend and her daughter. The ambiance of this place makes you want a cocktail as soon as you walk in--you'll feel like you just arrived on a carribean island! the service was great the first time, and decent the second. the food was PHENOMENAL both times, so needless to say, we will most definitely be return customers! get the wings with boss sauce for a treat with a little kick! anything you get will surely be tasty!
(4)Amy P.
Update, someone from the place called me at 11 p.m. that night bc I did the review on their receipt too. The guy seemed confused why I didn't want to chat at 11 on a week day night. Said he would call back- huge surprise, no one called. Face it Kendall , they don't want to make it better so guess we will move on, suggest you do the same

The place is nice and clean. It gives you the keys feeling. We had the nachos which were good. We also had the wings with the lemon pepper rub, chipotle lime and cyclone sauces. They were delicious. We also had the kettle chips but they were too greasy. The hurricane margarita was awesome. Will definately go back for some sliders and parmesan fries next time.

Finally a new location by my house the wings are delicious and our waitress Diana was awesome and very attending I love Hurricane GRILL&WINGS

My girlfriend and I were going to try hurricane for the first time. As we pulled up into the parking lot we heard really loud music coming from somewhere and unfortunately it was hurricane. They had a DJ set up outside with music so loud we couldn't even hear a conversation. We thought we would try it anyway and hope that the music was not loud inside. Again, unfortunately it was ridiculously loud. We love music and go to concerts all the time but when we are having dinner, we don't feel the need to be shouting at each other. The couple in front of us with their son also walked out of the place stating the same reasons. Disappointing, I hope this practice does not continue because we would probably enjoy the restaurant and be regulars

Been here twice and enjoy the food and atmosphere. It's a large restaurant with a short wait time and the food is pretty good. If your looking for a place to have a couple of beers and some wings I recommend this place.
(4)Diana N.
This place was very nice and clean if only the food was good. We ordered wings ( they were blah). They looked nothing like the picture on the menu. Ordered lettuce wraps ( looked like dog food on lettuce). My daughter ordered mac and cheese ( dry and tasteless). I ended up eating 3 wings and a bite of dog food. $40 bucks later and we'll never go there again. Very disappointed and left there still hungry. On the bright side, the waiter was very nice.

This area needed a place like this. Bartender was super knowledgable of the draft beer. Good food and of course their wings never disappoint. I want to become a regular there.
(4)Joseph L.
Great place good food and awesome drinks .. Service was good too .. Defiantly going back
(5)Robert M.
Hands down exactly what west Kendall needed. The food is full of flavor and super reasonable. The vibe was welcoming and chilaxing. This place is destined to rule west Kendall.
(5)Ricky M.
I have been there twice 1st time had boneless wings way overcooked but the sauces are great, 2nd time had traditional wings ordered 20 and 9 of them were so overcooked it looked like they were cooked and recooked told the waitress and she did nothing thats the last time I'll go there maybe I expect to much but my wife manages a 711 she brought wings home from her store that they sell and they BLEW hurricanes wings away!!!! Oh and 6 dollars cheaper for 20 wings.

After two horrible experiences at the bird road and 145th ave location I was hesitant to stop here. I am glad I did... Great food and most of all amazing service. Dana was outstanding! The wings were delicious and so were the chicken salad lettuce wraps. Finally a Full bar in west Kendall with a casual atmosphere! I will be back :)
(5)'Danny S.
FINALLYYY someone was smart enough to open a casual restaurant with a full liquor bar in west kendall! Since I moved to the hammocks area I realized there was a lack of sports bars out here with a full liquor bar! This place is great, 30+ different flavor wings, cheap beer, indoor and out door seating and a great selection of craft beer!
(5)Chris L.
this place made me question why would anyone go anywhere, at any time, with anyone. the definition of angst, that's what you'll feel if you eat here. if you bring your family, prepare to get divorced and have your kids hate you. if you're single, only come here if you don't mind losing your faith in humanity. stay away! when we sat outside the lights kept flickering on and off like there was an actual hurricane. I think this restaurant is the last place to come eat when there actually is a hurricane. when Pandora's box opened, this restaurant was one of the first to come out, right after famine, forcing you to choose between $10 fries, $11 nachos, or going without food. if your a fan of waiting at the dmv, then service here will be the perfect substitute for you. seriously, if you have 1 hour to wait for your drink and 2 to get it refilled this place is perfect! there was one point I almost thought it was self serve because the staff was no where to be seen. if you do go i hope you enjoy this tasteless slice of hell
