Burger from this place was absolutely excellent!! Keep in mind prices are high for a burger, but I'd go again. Spent $40 with tax and tip for two cheeseburger combos, however for downtown Miami, it's cool. Great location where you can watch tour boats come and go while you eat. Two waitress helped us, and they were both very friendly and efficient.

I would love to say anything good about this place other than the amazing view across the bay and the very entertaining 5 people in the table next to me. As far as the waiters, not entirely friendly and just didn't get a great vibe from any of them. I ordered the Vegan burger which the guy actually said comes with cheese on it. Um, since when does a VEGAN burger have animal product on it. So I ordered it without cheese and all I can say is it is on the bottom rung of Vegan burgers and the bun was HUGE and the burger maybe half the size of the bun. It had one sad piece of tomato on it. I usually do not eat fries unless they are VERY good and these failed to be even fair. So let's see, a $20 bill for a Peroni draft beer in a PLASTIC cup (another huge negative, am I at a frat party?), a lackluster Vegan burger and sad fries. I wanted to give it two stars for the view alone but everything else was just deserving of one star. Sorry HamBLAHguesa, you'll be a one time deal for me. There is tons better in Bayside Market.

Not good at all, there is an old lady right at the cashier with bad attitude, she was so rude and there is only one guy waited in tables, she could take my order right at the cashier but she told me to go wait at the tables. I waited for about 15 mins to the guy take my order. Really bad service.... the food wa3 s like a microwave food p W ... also i had to wait to the waiter for the check for long time... bad place...

I find it hard to rate this place because my friends always says that the food here sucks while the time I've been here and tried their food, It was okay. Well, when it comes to food, especially burgers. Unfortunately, I had a friend who always argue whether the food was good or not. And almost all of the time, she always says negative about the food. Hamburguesa was a fine place, i find it a nice place to eat. The food was really great, especially the cheeseburger and sweet fries. I would never get bored eating the food they serve here, totally a good choice.

RUDE! 'Ol dude that was waiting on tables was extra rude. I went to the cashier lane trying to get our food, and he asked WITH ATTITUDE if he can help me. I began to tell him my order when he cut me off and asked if I was going to be sitting in the table. I said yes and he abruptly told me that he is IN CHARGE of the tables and that we would need to wait for him to get to us. I was taken aback by this, but oh well. So we waited on the table .. and waited... and waited ... and waited ... and watched him walk past us several times, then go back to the register where he proceeded to take orders from other people??? We were so upset, we got up and went to sit at the tables for the restaurant next door ... Then, hubby really wanted a burger and we only had 30 minutes before we had to go leave and catch our flight and had no more time to go look for another burger joint ... so I marched back to this store to order a to go. Welp, THE SAME douche greeted me with attitude and when I told him that I just want a to go this time, he then irritatingly tell me " I AM IN CHARGE OF TABLES. IF YOU WANT TO GO, GO TO THAT OTHER CASHIER." and pointed me the hell away from him. SMH!!!!!!! Anyway, the girl that was on the other register was very nice. She took my order promptly and even put in packets of mayo, ketchup, and mustard on my to-go box. Food was okay, although the size was impressive and I truly did dig the fact that their sesame buns are something legit. However, that server's attitude was beyond rude. Please someone put him on check! We were there on a Sunday afternoon between 4:30-5:30 (19 oct)

This place was phenomenal! The service was superb! Sebastian took my order and was very friendly, attentive and polite. My son was a bit misbehaving and he did a coin trick that was very amusing and unique. The view from the bay is beautiful. The Bison burger was definitely a winner. I will be back!

Dirty dirty dirty... I know it's by the ocean / water but there's really no excuse... Ketchup / mustard look as if they were stored in a dust filled place.. Waiter is ok, nice, service ok, but kitchen error baby's food had to be returned :( So during my feast of really great burger and fry I dripped a fry... and wow the waiter almost threw me off the balcony since I was not faster than the pigeon that came to eat it... told us in a terrible way to address the public not to feed the birds as they will kill the next patron. So be careful this is miami.

Way over priced for terrible service. Was allowed to sit for 20 mins at a table before I became curious as to why we hadn't been greeted. When I asked the waiter I was informed that he had four tables and was too busy to take our order. We then went and waited on line to order and after tens mins was about to place it, when the aforementioned waiter pushed aside the woman helping us to ring another customer up who had already ate. This was because he claimed they were going to leave without paying. "Leave with out paying" if that was true call the police don't make it my problem. This was the point at which I gave up and went somewhere else. Don't waste your time and money here EVER.

Tourist Trap Dry Burger Rude Customer Service Poor Cleanliness Unapologetic Never Again!!! Living a few blocks from Bayfront Park, I have been wanting to try Hamburguesa. It sits along the water and docks along the restaurant row of Bayfront Park. The location is nice. Today, I gave it a shot. I sat down to a dirty table... and then watched the water dry wash the table next to me with a dry paper napkin.... with the customers seated already. I let it go. I am reading the menu and deciding what to try, when the rude and impatient water simply states "you ready" abruptly. As I begin to speak, he cuts me off and tells me what combination he suggest, pushing $3 or $4 up charge. I chose what I wanted and specifically ordered the burger "Medium...Pink Inside".... I pointed my request out twice, b/c when he was upsetting me, he suggested medium-well. I received my order and of course, it was dry as a bone, medium-well. I chose to actually point it out to him, but told him that I would eat it, but at a placed named Hamburguesa, I would expect it to be hand made and cooked to order.. not a dry patty. I did not want a discount or new burger... I wouldn't trust the cook not to take vengeance. I simply pointed out the difference b/t the name of the joint and the product served. The waiter went on to take it personal, despite me telling him otherwise and then continued to blame the cook, rather than simply apologize. Also, as of Jan 1st, the included/mandatory tip should have been removed, but I found it included on the receipt. This means I tipped for poor service and dry tasteless burger.

I got a chicken burger, it was good but I've had better and it took at least 15minutes to cook. I was tired of waiting for my food.

The burgers are amazing. I took my dad here because he was in town, and we decided to eat something close to home to spare us the walking. We ended going back before he left two days later because it was so good! Granted the first time the customer service was not good at All, the person who took our order was rude and seemed like she just wanted us out. Even though there was still hours before closing. The second visit the service was much better. ! The people were super nice friendly, but regardless the food was still amazing and much worth going for again. They're a good size and they're made to what you want exactly.!

Food was ok, service sucked. Location is nice, on the water. The selection was good but the turkey is not a turkey burger but turkey breast.

I Wish there was something good I could have written. I went there, excited for a decent burger (great pictures on the menu) I asked for a burger medium rare and a fried egg. The cook had no intentions whatsoever to even try and make it right. I was looking at my burger and my egg as they are being cooked into extremely well done... The waitress/host/cashier was too busy flirting with one of the employees at the pizza joint next door and rarely looked inside to see if a customer would want something. After my burger came well done with an egg super well done I asked for a new one and when it came it was alright, nothing special. Still looking for a good burger joint

Horrible service and burger not out of this world. My girlfriend and I just finish the heat play there first preseason game. We past this place thinking that the lady in the front was giving us a deal on free "super"fries when we buy any burger,so we sit down inside. We look at the menu and we were starving and happy to try something different so pick a bison burger. As we're giving our to the waiter he tells us that there's no free "super" fries but that it just a bottle of water with a burger and super fries. My GF and I argue with him for a little before the waiter goes and argues with hostess about it. It looked like it was staged there argument and just wanted to sit down since it was empty already. Plus the hostess or the waiter didnt apologize for the "confusion". We should have left but I wanted to the bison burger. We order one burger to share with a fried egg, bacon and avocado on a sesame seed bun cooked medium rare with fries. It took a little longer then most even tho we order before two other couples. We look at our burger and they give us the wrong bun then it had onions when we says none (GF is allergic) and the meat was cook well done. We finally eat it and the burger wasn't great mostly because it was dry. We pay out our tab and to our eyes we see a 15% service charge included in the check. They didn't do any kind of service besides taking the order like someone from any fast food burger joint. In conclusion, This place looks nice but don't let the good looks fool you. Shady waiter and hostess just wanting get ppl in selling fake specials and not so great burgers. FIRST AND LAST TIME THERE AND HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND IT, BK HAS BETTER SERVICE!!

Yes, I saw the reviews but I ignored only because they have some incredible french fries that I had at a previous visit. So we popped in hubs ordered a burger and I chose a Philly sandwich. The cashier who took our order was friendly and the place is clean. We decided to sit outside overlooking the bay, always a lovely view. Our food arrived after about ten minutes. Again, the fries were delish. If I was only reviewing their fries it would be four stars but between the burger and Philly it ruined the rating. The burger was not a good portion for the price of around $10, the bread was stale and the burger tasted bland and it seemed the quality of the meat was not very good. The Philly was no better, very dry, bland, no flavor, stale bread, and small portions of thinly sliced meat. Yes, tourist trap with high rent, but darn their fries are good. I would ONLY order the fries. To bad, a nice concept.

I live across the street and was craving a cheeseburger so I came over and tried this place for the first time. The burger was ok. Kinda dry and tasteless. Tastes like a frozen patty which was disappointing. The view of the water is always great and the service was fine. When the bill came I just gave the waiter my cc without looking at it. When he brought it back, I was surprised to see that the actual bill had been removed and only the credit card receipt was in the book. The bill of $16+ seemed a little high for a cheeseburger combo with sweet potato fries and a side of avocado spread so I asked the waiter for the actual bill. He acted surprised that it was not there and went off to get it for me. When he brought it back, sure enough he had already included a tip which is fine if he would have been honest about it but I didn't appreciate him removing the bill so that I would not know that the tip had already been included. I told him so and I asked him if it was customary to included the tip (which I'm pretty sure is not for a party of 1) He said they always did it. I told him it was too bad for him since he would have received much more if he hadn't done that. I was a bartender for over 15 yrs so I always tip 25% or more. He tried to tell me that I still had the option of adding an additional tip but I told him that had he not tried to hide the fact that he had already charged me for the tip, I would have definitely added to it. But the dishonesty was not appreciated. Not a good way to treat customers. Will not be coming back here. Too bad because it's so close to my house Probably will not come back here.

Nothing special about this "burger bar" in Bayside. It's mediocre & should sit on the 2nd floor w the rest of the food court stuff. The 6 oz burger is served on a bun that is twice the size of the burger so it looks plain ridiculous. The sweet potato fries didn't even taste like anything =/ It's also way to pricey for what you get; this isn't 8 oz Burger Bar or the Burger & Beer Joint here....

Not much to write about this place, but I stopped here after getting off the Thriller Powerboat tour. I had a turkey burger; it was good! I had no issues with the service. It was not busy when I visited. Just a confused couple taking "forever" to order! SMH!

Nothing special and exciting about this place. We just so happened to walk by and it caught my eye because their TV was actually good to watch the Heat game and it was not crowded. I had the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the cheese burger. It was good I had no complaint but I wouldn't go out of my way to go get it. The burger bun wasn't even toasted not even one bit, just straight up room temperature bread. It was too pricey for what it was worth.

This burger was the worst burger I have ever had, add to that the worst service, it will make the perfect disaster recipe for the worst burger restaurant. Me and 4 other guys ordered variety from the Basic to the XL, tasted like.... "Nothing" there was no taste!!!!! and as I mentioned the lame workers, I asked one of them to change the order from basic to XL he said "can I just make it a double?" the lazy guy did not want to go throw the machine and change it! later one of us asked him if they could cook his burger well done he said "Yes, sure" and never left his place or asked the cook to do it. please, save your money, and go some were better.

Terrible experience. I yelped AFTER I ordered because I felt like the unfriendly waiter we had was trying to up-sell us on an already WAY overpriced meal. I then began reading the reviews and was dreading the food that was about to arrive. First were our two year old daughter's chicken nuggets. Half-cooked, greasy and just in general gross. She wasn't put off by their appearance however so after removing the excess grease I let her have one. She ate a bite and her otherwise undiscerning palette told her that was enough. Our food came and.... It wasn't bad! Perhaps I had a very low bar after the reviews and nuggets but I was ok with it. Two negative things however: I added avocado to my cheese steak and it turned out to be a greenish/brownish paste that added little flavor to the sandwich. Secondly the fries needed another minute or two in the fryer as they were mushy/soggy. Our daughter ate two French fries and then decided she was through. Contrary to most meals with her, she ate or attempted to eat very little so there was nothing on the ground and only one broken up nugget on the table that in its now cold state was so repugnant it wasn't even worth playing with and was pushed out of arms length in front of her. Then she noticed the pigeons and seagulls that had been around us from the start and I'd hoped she wouldn't see. A group sat at the table next to us and scared one that flew out from under their table and sent our daughter into hysteria. She's afraid of pigeons. I took her out of her high chair and sat her on my lap which was across from her chair so I could talk her off the cliff. She calmed down quickly and then the waiter came to take the group next to us' order though we'd been waiting for the bill for about 10 minutes at that point. Another pigeon flew out from under THEIR table and he turned to us to chide us for feeding the birds!!!! He said "Do not feed the birds please." Incredulously, I responded "we didn't feed the birds. She's afraid if them." He looked at her plate and said "is she going to eat that?" Pointing at the lone nugget, "you can't leave it here". IT'S OUR TABLE!!!! What the h*ll does that even mean? I said "I can't leave my food in front of me on the table", Pointing to my own unfinished meal, and he said "no, you can't". I said "well, we've been waiting for the bill so please bring that and we'll leave". Our bill for $57 came promptly (2 burgers, 1 cheese steak, 1 chic nuggets and 3 sodas) and we found the 15% "service fee". First, nowhere is this marked or stated, secondly, who charges an automatic service fee for a table of 4 (3 plus infant)???!! The service barely warranted a tip at all!!!! So we paid and promptly left our food on the table for our marauding bird friends who descended upon the table like a wrath of God. Cheers! In short, barely passable, overpriced food, terrible and rude service and an automatic "service fee" = never again.

Let me begin this horror story by saying, I wish I could give 0 stars instead of 1 star. My boyfriend and I initially passed by this place about a week before we actually tried it. The owner waved us down and seemed enthusiastic telling about all the different kinds of burgers he had. The menu was simple and short; seemed like this was a sort of burger specialty place. Our first warning sign should've been when we inquired about the "24/7" sign and he said that they're not actually open all the time. We had just moved into our apartment and after a long day of unpacking, we were craving a good burger, fries, and beer. How can you screw that up, right? Especially if that's the only thing on your menu. (If I ordered a burger at a Thai restaurant, I might've let the crappiness slide). Second warning sign should've been that the place was markedly uncrowded compared to the throngs of people strolling around the Bayside area. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger combo with fries and a Heineken. (There was only Heineken and Bud Lite on draft.) I ordered the steak sandwich. 2 minutes after putting in our order, I realized that the menu said I had an option of adding a fried egg to my sandwich. (Awesome!! Fried eggs make anything better!!) I walked up to the counter and excitedly asked for a fried egg to be added. The owner shook his head and said, "No, sorry, I can't do fried eggs right now." I replied, "Oh, is that only in the morning or something?" He just said again, "I can't do the fried egg right now." I walked back to my table confused and disappointed. This should've been the third warning sign. Either he was too lazy to change the order or he couldn't fry an egg at the time because THERE WAS NO GRILL EVEN FIRED UP! It's not like he was busy and didn't have time; there were only 4 people total at his restaurant! Looking into the back kitchen, I didn't see anyone working, no flames or smoke from a grill. We got our order. The french fries sucked. Fat, hot, and squishy. Not crispy like fresh out of the fryer, but more like, overheated in a microwave. My boyfriend's burger was lukewarm with FAKE GRILL MARKS and cheese that wasn't even melted. The meat tasted like a dank, defrosted, frozen patty. The bun was huge, tasteless, and room temperature. My lukewarm steak sandwich tasted alright after I added copious amounts of mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. The beer was good. The owner came back out and asked us how everything was. My boyfriend said that the burger was not good. Instead of asking why, so as to know where to improve the quality of his food, the owner says, "You should've told me" and "I'm sorry" and offers him a free beer to make up for his burger flop. The beer comes. We take one sip and the difference is striking. This was not Heineken, this was watery and flavorless Bud Lite. My boyfriend asks the owner if this is Heineken, and the owner says, "Yes." and quickly rushes away. So, not only does he offer us a crappy free beer that we didn't even order to make up for his crappy overpriced meal, he takes us for idiots and lies to us about which beer he gave us! We are furious at this point. We leave the beer full and undrunken and are already discussing the lack of tip we are going to leave this jerk. The bill comes: $27!!! Are you effing kidding me?! The guy added an automatic 15% gratuity. For WHAT service?? We asked him if he does this for all customers and he answered the reason why he has to do this is because when people just order to go, they don't tip so he has to charge the seated customers. There's no place to sign so we bounce. We get chased down by the owner who says we have to sign something. We look down and he's holding the customer copy that we have to sign. After some discussion, he realizes that there's a part of the receipt missing and we have to wait for over 5 minutes as he rushes around the restaurant yelling at his cashier in Spanish to try and find the receipt that we have to sign for the meal that left us pissed, bitter, and hungry. Unbelievably awful dining experience. Can't get much worse. Had to find another place for my boyfriend to eat. The only comfort I get from my experience is that it's evident that other people on Yelp have been ripped off here before. The only reason this place is even still in existence is due to the easy prey first-time customers traveling from out of town in this touristy area. Also, they have a cart of cheap beer that they sell to passerby's, which I'm sure a majority of their profit comes from. We didn't Yelp this place before we went, because we figured, How bad can you mess up a burger and fries? Never again. This place SUCKS on all levels.

Decent burgers and service. Kind of pricey - $8 for a cheeseburger, $10 for a steak burger. Prices are likely higher because it's in a very touristy location. I'm a local, work near by, so I've come here twice now. Not bad overall, but nothing out of this world.

Unfortunately Bayside Marketplace is the closest "mall" to me...that being said, I tend to come here every so often to shop and grab a bite to eat.. Facing the bay, Right next to Sharkey's bar, I found Hamburguesa or how it reads on the sign "Ham-bur:gue'sa" a new burger shop, very clean looking, with a decent sized menu that contained some juicy burger pics. I decided to give it a try, and I can honestly say it is probably one of my favorite burgers in Miami, a little pricey for the add-ons but the beef was great and you have the option to prepare it however you want; I had a 1/2 lb burger called the "XL" with provolone cheese on a whole wheat bun, very yummy. So when you're feeling a little touristy, head over to Bayside and check this place out :-)

  • Al P.

Slow service, overpriced. I had the cheeseburger combo for $11, the bun was twice the size of the burger and was from the day before. Really bad, not worth the wait and the money spent.

  • Andrew A.

$10 to start for a pretty lame burger...smh. However, location is fantastic! They have outdoor seating right on the bay and a few indoor tables. The place looks very clean and the pictures of the burgers made my mouth water. I decided to go with the cheeseburger w/ bacon and fries. The word that came to mind when I bit into the burger was: underwhelming. I've made better burgers in my own kitchen. Not to mention, the bun dwarfed the burger to the extent that there was no burger left after eating halfway through the bun! There are a million other options at bayside so I would avoid this place if at all possible.
