Its small and tiny and its a nice place to eat. the people are nice and the food is delicious. Pro: The OX-Tail is great and only served on WED Con: They run out of food when it comes close to 4pm and 5pm plus the Big sign they put up on the East side blocks the wind and open view making the little establishment a little darker now. I guess they did it because of the sun, Me... I would of placed a UV block window which would of cost more but wouldn't have taken away from the ambiance.

A blink and you'll miss it hole in the wall right in the heart of little Havana. The place is so small, it only has about 10 tables and they are all on the terrace right in front of the sidewalk. I ordered the chicken chunks with morro and tostones. The plate, for about $7, was pretty good with a decent amount of servings. My friend had the Cuban sandwich and a shake which she swears by. Service was quick and best of all, the bill was under $13 for two people. So if you're in the area and want a quick Cuban meal, give this place a chance. For me though, any Cuban place is hard to compare against the house of deliciousness that is Enriquetta's in downtown Miami.

Started working next door to this restaurant and I love it. Its a small...very small latin cafe that has those "Hit the spot" meals. I went here for lunch and order a vatido de mamey for $2 (all shakes are $2), a ham and chesses sandwich for $3 for a grand total of $5, which is cheaper than going to BK or Mcdonalds. The shake and sandwich were delicious and my co-workers order a media noche and pan con bistec each around $4-5 and they were not disappointed. Not many people know about this place since 1. it's not located on a busy street 2. it's pretty tiny 3. there are not a lot of businesses around there, mostly condos and homes. so if you want a great lunch or breakfast at a more than reasonable price and are around this area or heading downtown stop and check out Gabys, you won't be disappointed. p.s. i dont think they serve dinner

Last Saturday, I was served burnt chorizo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not get over this, and no food establishment gets a "bad day" pass in my book when my boyfriend's paying (LoL). All jokes aside, teenage Gaby (the restaurant's namesake) was our waitress, and she's a kid in her father's restaurant helping out and probably didn't realize she had just served me charred chorizo jerky, so she gets a pass. She listened to me vent about what chorizo should look and taste like and then kindly brought me the real thing. Although I was disgusted to see the "crap" they gave me, now next to the authentic sausage, but decided to make lemonade from those lemons, plus I was hungry. I'm happy to say that the second serving was delicious, but sadly, I will not be going to Gaby's for a while.

This is a great little Cuban cafe spot for lunch. Very good portions and authentic quality for around $4-7; you can't even get decent fast food for that price. This place is fairly small and usually busy during lunch but is worth a couple minute wait to enjoy the good food or go for the take out. Service is very fast if you are running short on time.

I thought it was time to add this little Latin cafeteria on Yelp. For four good years that I worked next to this joint, this was the place to go to get some "media noche" sandwiches for lunch or a quick "cafe con leche and tostada". This menu resembles a a Latin America restaurant so you know what to expect. They have a little area outside to eat that fits about 10. I usually called in an order and in 10 minutes it was done. for like $5-6 you can get a "media noche" sandwich and a "vatido de trigo". The sandwiches were never a disappointment and came with a large chunk of tasty, greasy salty fries. I never had them for breakfast but some coworkers did. They had some cheap special that included scrambled eggs, bacon and french fries. They do delivery around the area but your better off just walking over and grabbing a sandwich yourself. They place closes around 5:30 on weekdays. The owner, who has an uncanny resemblance to Glenn Beck, works in the kitchen himself and makes sure everything is up to par.
