I read on one of the Miami Club Promoter's social media sites that he thought Frankie's Pizza Cafe had the best New York Pizza in South Florida. So I was driving by NE 134th and Biscayne and saw the Frankie's Pizza Cafe sign. I've been in that small Strip Mall a few times before to the AT&T Store. So I enter Frankies, and the first thing I notice is that the Pizza Guy is actually tossing the pizza dough by hand. It's all handmade, no machines. The next thing I notice is that Frankie's serves up a 10", 14", 16", 20" and 28" Pizza. The Box is huge! I asked the Pizza Cook what the most was, he said "Cheese". That was a honest answer so I ordered a 20" Pepperoni To Go. The Pizza Box was so big, I had to put the backseat of my card down. When I arrived home, I fired up the oven because I like my pizza with a crispy bottom. The Pizza was actually very good. The sauce was slightly sweet, and the crust was thicker than most of the other New York Style Pizzas in South Florida. I will definitely return to Fankie's Pizza CAfe. This location in North Miami is one that you would probably order take out/delivery from. They have limited seating. You can also get it by the slice. There is online ordering. There is plenty of parking in this Strip Mall lot.

I came in here to have lunch! Now this beautiful afternoon I ordered my lunch and got all comfy as I watched the staff. Now I work in the food business and am manager Serb safe certified! Watching the staff the first wrong I noticed was that one of the employees was carrying a pizza and maneuvered the pizza with her bare thumbs now this wouldn't have made me entirely upset if I at least seen her wash her hands before hand! The second thing I began to notice was that they had a small girl in the restaurant who was fine until she went into the kitchen to touch the raw dough on the counter and pulled a pice off. Next I noticed the employee that touched the pizza previously, was now putting her hands in her back pocket to pick a wedgie! And continued to not was her hands? Last complaint of this afternoon is the bathroom is located in the back of the kitchen and they allowed a customer to go back there while there is raw food meaning dough on the counter.. The amount of cross contamination in this establishment is unbelievable and is uncomforting. That's all thank you for reading ! Hope this helps your choice.... The food was no good

I've sworn by Steve's pizza for my whole life but after ordering Frankie's today I'm going to have to say it competes. Delivery was on time pizza was amazing and totally recommend the regular cheesecake it was some of the best cheesecake from a pizza place I've ever had. I generally do not give 5 stars but Frankie's you have earned it!

Pros: - Delivery ladies are super nice! Cons: - Pizza sauce taste like salsa - Pizza itself are as thin as cardboard (very thin and floppy) - my friends describe it as "weird tasting in a bad way" - Got the orders mixed up - charged for the pasta but we got the sub - Parmesan sub was very disappointing - one strip of eggplant and barely any sauce

This is not what I would consider to be NY style pizza (probably closer to Neapolitan), but it is a pretty good pizza. The sauce is the most unique part of this pie. It is spicy. I liked it quite a bit. Not really like any other sauce I can remember trying, but tangy and tasty. I also liked that this is a very interactive pizza buying experience. The guy making my pizza was asking how I wanted my meatball topping, how much I wanted, and how I wanted the pizza cooked. It was nice because I got the pizza made exactly how I wanted it. The crust is nice and handmade. Prices are ok. Definitely a good option, especially if you are looking for a "change of pace" kind of pizza.

Great pizza. New York style. Good wings. Delivery was quick. Will most definitely order from them again!

This place must be shut down I've been there a couple of times and is extremely disgusting. I witnessed with my own eyes how they put raw meat multiple times inside the microwave without any protection or without cleaning the mess after. The smell is horrible, the tables are dirty, the counters where they put the toppings for pizza are always a mess!!! I can't even keep my eyes open while they cook because the smoke it's all over the place plus I had to wait long periods of times because they burned my pizza twice and the pizza guy told me the oven wasn't working properly.. To top it off when I asked to use the restroom you have to walk through a little kitchen Oh lordddd the kitchen looked like a hurricane passed by to make the long story short, it is an insult for the restaurant business it's totally unhealthy to eat in this place. Stay away from it you will get sick this place is a jokeeee. Just a matter of time before the health department shuts this place down!

I have to say that I would order delivery from Frankie alot... but one day I decided to pick up. I witnessed this large white man cooking steak subs and ads he was building the sandwich he was licking his fingers when he would get sauce on his bare hands... never do I ever see these kids washing their hands or practicing sanitary procedures to keep the place clean. It's a shame and the owner should be embarrassed. *I was a regular until I decided to pick up my food*

Not much to say other than that was really bad. I don't typically like my tomato sauce to be full of chunks of onion and pepper, especially when the cashier can't even figure out how to charge me correctly for two slices of cheese pizza. Overall, a terrible experience.

I wasted my time waiting for 2 hours. 2 hours. Lucas promised me 50% off and I got some extra stuff. But 2 hours is way too long. Wow! They react very quickly! Eat24 just called me and confirmed my refunds. Owner is involved in this situation. Lucas did a great job to solve this problem. So, what I think is everyone can make mistakes like that. But only few can solve problems quickly and effectively like this. BRAVO!

Their pizzas are incredible tasty, I ordered their largest 30' in supreme for a party and it was so big everyone ended up posing next to it for photo album! Their tomato sauce is the best in town, you truly feel the flavor in every bite you take, they use top quality ingredients, I've also had their subs, my favorite is the Philly cheese, the staff is very friendly and very accommodating to special requests.. Came to this place when new ownership took over and immediately noticed changes in their food and service.. If craving for great tasting pizza.. Frankie's is a must have!!

Wow, I went in thinking i was going to grab a quick slice of pizza. Ended up getting a Burger and a side salad. Wow it was AMAZING!!! Definitely need to go back for the slice of pizza, especially knowing about that lunch special. Wow, seriously biggest Pizza Slice I've ever seen! its a MUST TRY!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Awesome, just finished a pie and it was AMAZING. Closest pizza to NY pizza i've had so far while living in Miami.

Cold but good pizza!

Of course there is better pizza in the world, but seriously, how can you beat $4 for 2 HUGE slices of pizza and a soda for a quick lunch in that area. When I say 2 slices, I mean pretty much half a pizza. It really should be enough for 2, unless you are a fatty like me and my lovely man date. I don't even like soda, but there's some kind of pleasure in eating huge slices of pizza with a cold one. I haven't tried anything else there, but would recommend it. Would love for a whole wheat option, but the crusts thinness and crispiness hits my crusty spot anyways!

It's been awhile since I've have GREAT pizza, Frankie's Pizza is my new pizza spot. Everyone was really nice, nothing like the Chains. You must check it out, their prices are also super reasonable!
(5)Ken S.
The pizza is fantastic. Thin crispy crust. Fresh toppings and quality cheesy cheese. I will try other meals in the near future. WORTH A TRY!

Really yummy pizza! Could be a bit crispier (i like my pizza almost burnt!) but none the less still awesome. Delivery was really late but thats okay, sauce made up for it.
(4)Kristin K.
not impressed. I've been to NYC several times, pizza is much better. Avoid the chicken wings, little meat & no flavor.

Average pizza. I'd rate it a tad under Steve's pizza, and nowhere near the quality of the slices you can get at Whole Foods (ironically, Whole Foods has the best pizza in North Miami). The Philly Cheesesteak was pretty bangin', though, I'd go back for that. The service was quality, they were the only pizzeria willing to make a delivery during a flood, so points for that. I'd say, overall, it's a 3.5 star establishment, if they work on their quality, they can score even higher.

This pizza is phenomenal. Fresh ingredients and the sauce is great. These guys are from Boston and it shows. NYC is not Boston, Boston is better, so don't listen to that person. Not too thin, not too thick. The meatballs are homemade and taste like it. Had the cheese steak sub last time and it sent me home! Don't think philly, no artificial cheese here! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the garlic bread... could use some rethinking. Highly recommended! Update: Went back again for a cheese steak and a burger. The burgers are sooo good! Still love the cheese steak. Then we went again and got a buffalo chicken pizza and cheese sticks. Great chunks of grilled chicken, wasn't spicy enough for my taste, but still very good. The cheese sticks were homemade and awesome!
(5)Luis M.
Excellent pizza and value for the price. Props for making pizza with flavor, fresh, and consistent!
(4)Peter H.
This place is terrible! The meatball sub was incredibly salty and the pizza was gross. Why anyone would go here with Steve's down the block is beyond me! Dont wast your time! You have better options with Steve's Pizza and Kings County Pizza near by.

This pizza is fan-fuckin-tastic. The closest thing to NYC pizza I have had in Miami. I have had Pizza many places in Miami, however this is the best I have found.
