Nice place the waitress was very friendly and helpful and allowed just the right amount of time for us to agree on what we were going to order, I ordered a vaca Frita and Malanga Cream with Tostones and my partner ordered a breaded chicken steak with Maduros Rice and Black beans, we enyoyed part of the food but I noticed my vaca frita was not ehat I expected..ok...it is not the best I have had...it wasnt fried enough...the rest was fine I dont think I will be repeating the experience though I know other places I like more, the ladies bathroom was very untidy and dirty had no toilet roll... for a not so busy Thursday night I find this not to be very acceptable...I had heard good things about the place...I just know better places thats all.

Dont use credit card for delivery, my purchase was 9.93, that include a delivery charge of 3.00, i add 1.00 tip making it 10.93, how bout the driver later alter it turning the 1.00 to a 4.00 totaling 13.93, spoke to manager and owner they, pretty much told me to fuck off! I used to love this place order every day, until 07/26/2015, last day!!

This place is horrible , they use to be good but Iv notice that they don't like to please customers they only like to take your money and they want you out of their face ! The girls that work there are always rude . I went there today for a shake and it was completely watery so I ask them to make me another one and they took 10 mins to make another shake but they never made me another shake they literally gave me the same shake cause it was watery so either they did it on purpose or they never made me a new one . Which sucks because the shake is 4$ they are over priced about everything and for the service it's not wroth it ! They just lost a customer '

Three years ago we came to Miami on vacation and stumbled upon this place.... We found it again!!! Everything was great, the food, service, and the beer was cold!! We ordered from their nightly dinner specials! Great prices. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich! Yum yum Anytime we vacation here.... We will be eating here!

Ok i found this place because a friend recommended and I'm glad he did. It's in a very busy Plaza but they outdo the competition for sure. On my first visit I had the Grilled chicken sandwich and though it was a little bit of a wait (it was really busy at lunchtime) it was worth it. The sandwich was huge and we'll done, side was shredded potato which they call French fries... Service was prompt, we got warm bread brought to our table after we order our drinks so no complaints on that end. The place is ok, nothing fancy and can get very busy but it is worth it. The prices are very reasonable for the size of the portions so they are a great value. Second time I went I had the sautéed chicken special (they have different specials everyday) also huge, sauce was great, Moro and tostones done well and big portions so I will be coming back for sure!

Excellent food!! Stumbled across this place and checked the yelp review and it seemed promising. Went in and it was a little slow but that was not a indicator to anything this time. I ordered the chicken steak and it was great!! Once again yelp led me to a great meal.

Came in for lunch, the place was busy so that's a good sign. I ordered an iced tea which came out as hot tea in a sundae glass with a small cup of ice on the side....interesting and kind of impossible to mix without spilling all over the table. The regular sized Cuban sandwich was quite large. It was cut in fourths which was nice because as I chowed down on the smaller pieces it made me feel as is I was eating a smaller portion, even though I finished all four :-) There was a good bit of meat and the bread was nice and crusty. The bill came quickly and the service was friendly. Many of the other more authentic meals at other tables looked very good too. Great place for lunch but parking is tough and it's on a very busy road which makes for an interesting drive when leaving.

Holy Cow...awesome food. For a west coast boy,the service sucked, but, oh well!!!! Yelp says I need more characters, so: Holy Cow...awesome food. For a west coast boy,the service sucked, but, oh well!!!!

I ordered for pickup and the lady that answers that phone was super nice and sweet. We ordered breaded chicken breast with rice and plantains. The portions were so huge that 4 people could've ate with 1 order. The plated it in two separate containers - one container was filled with rice and the other one was two huge pieces of breaded chicken. The bad side : everything was bland!! No flavor at all. The rice needed salt, the chicken was extremely plain :( sucks that Doral doesn't have any good Cuban restaurants.

Not the best Cuban but a very close second. The meat is fresh, they give you a lot of cheese, and the delivery option is very fast. I would definitely order again- it won't disappoint! They could afford to learn to communicate with Americans- but I guess that's everyone in Cuba Jr. (MIA).

The food was delicious and quite a hefty portion. The chicken was juicy and the tostones were the size of my face. And by golly the yellow garlic sauce for my tostones was heaven sent. The location is unassuming but when u walk in it's nicely decorated, modern and clean. I'll be back there in a heartbeat.

VALUE AND SUPERB SERVICE!!! The sun rises and the light slowly creeps into your hotel bedroom. The sun's rays fill the room with warmth and your eyelids flutter a bit as you begin to awaken from your slumber. Slowly rolling out of bed, you ponder your options for breakfast. What to do? Well, use your handy-dandy Yelp app of course!!! Duh! There were various options within the vicinity and as I scanned quickly through the Yelp reviews, I narrowed it down to two choices. Time to dig a little deeper with that Yelp app and read Elite reviews thoroughly. I trust my fellow Yelpers but when I have to decided between two choices, I break the tie by reading Elite reviews. Then onto the next important requirement: PICTURES! What does the food look like? Is it appetizing? Hey, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? Okay, it's settled. El Rinconcito Latino is the choice. As we pulled into the strip mall, I noticed that the restaurant has a take-out window. They were people ordering and others who were eagerly awaiting their orders. Good sign. As we opened the door and stepped into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a server who escorted us to a table. Nice beginning. I chose the Rinconcito breakfast combo for $6.99. You can barely get a pastry and a latte for that much at one of those national chain coffee stores (you know which ones they are!) Our server didn't speak much English but she was gracious enough to enlist the help of one of her colleagues. All tables receive a basket of buttered bread which was so good. Add to that my enormous breakfast combo for $6.99. Here's what I got: - 2 eggs - bacon (I believe you have an option for sausage) - grits (there was an alternative but I can't remember) - 2 pancakes - cafe con leche It's a lot of food for $6.99. It was good too. Both our servers were warm and courteous; helpful and funny; and one of them even tried teaching us a little Spanish. Great place! So if you are staying in one of the many hotels in the area, please try this place out. It is fantastic and your pocket book will thank you. Since it's such a good value, feel free to tip extra because the wait staff really deserve it. They are wonderful.

I discovered this place while working in Miami for the weekend. I asked the receptionist at the hotel what was a good place to get some local grub and she directed me here. I like the ambience of the restaurant feels very...Cuban. They have a lot of items on the menu and after much deliberation I ordered the shrimp dish seen in the picture. It was good. Lots of shrimp and fresh vegetables. I was expecting a little more spice but it was still a flavorful dish. I really wanted to try the tres leeches cake but they were all out so that was disappointing. While I enjoyed my meal my boss that accompanied me to the restaurant didn't care too much for the chicken breast a and beans that he ordered and it was a bit bland in our opinion however the beans were the saving grace. Sometimes you just order the wrong thing. I wish I ordered that whole fish that I kept seeing other diners devour. I would go back and explore the menu a little bit more. Overall, fair.

WoW great food. Had the Tuesday night special sirloin steak (Bistec de Rinodada) Price $12.99. It came with 2 sides I chose red beans and a salad but they had potatoes and other items. I also had the best creamy vegetable soup, (cremosa sopa de verduras.) I ask for the recipe and the owners wife I think said it was just vegetables and a little potato to thicken. Unbelievable flavor and the best soup I have ever had. Yes I said that twice!!!! It's located in a strip center with a bunch of small shops and a seedy looking lounge bar but don't let that deter you from a great Cuban Food Experience. Don't leave without trying the soup. I will review the desert Tres Leches cake next time because I am stuffed. Total tab $22.00.

If you're looking for great Cuban food in Doral it's a great place to visit. The breakfast there was phenomenal and came in big portions. The server was friendly and our food came out very quickly. Their Cuban coffee was delicious.

Great for quick bite at lunch time if you work in Doral. It's located in an old shopping center and windows are tinted dark. Prices good. Typical Cuban food. Good coffee.

I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn nearby and was not in a mood to go out. So I decided after reading reviews on yelp to order in from here. The lady who answered spoke great English and was very sweet. It was delivered 20 minutes later and wow that was a ton of food. I got arroz con pollo, which was great and enough to feed 10 people. I got chicken noodle soup, it was good, nothing too special. The tres leches dessert was great, the lady on the phone recommended I try it. All in all, great food, affordable, and quick delivery.

Tasty food, food service was great. Ieam was pleasant! Very quick service. Best choice for lunch dinner and breakfast. They come with buttered Cuban bread. Love it. Did make a non Spanish speaker myself feel out of place!! I love that type of service. I felt welcomed. It's only five stars because I left too full. Wish it could be 10! Awesome portions! Come here anytime!

This place is amazing. The food must be tried to be believed. Huge portions of perfectly prepared food. My husband - who usually grouses about food - agrees this is a 5. Too bad you can't give a six. Try the black beans and the plantains. The steak my husband ate was perfectly prepared. How have I lived this long and not known about this place?

This restaurant offers good tasting food and great value for money. I read almost all of the reviews for this restaurant, especially the lower rated ones. I can refute almost all of the negative comments, so I'll take a moment to do that. The neighborhood is not at all dodgy. It is off the beaten track and a bit out of the way (in a mostly industrial area near the airport). But I felt very safe--it is located in a suburban like shopping center (plenty of parking on a Friday night). There were plenty of staff and they were all very friendly and polite. I did not feel that speaking English led to less help and attention from the wait staff. More things you need to know: the portions are quite large, so sharing is a good strategy. A typical entree has twice as much as is typical, and the sides are mostly the same. So come really hungry or split dishes for the right portions. I ordered the shrimp cocktail. I was not sure if it would be presented as a Latin American Shrimp Cocktail or in the North American style. It is served North American style. There eight or so jumbo shrimp (Scampi size). They were delicious, too. Better than most restaurants that charge twice as much. Again, this restaurant has great food, great service, safe and pleasant atmosphere with very reasonable prices. It is well deserving of its high rating.

Worst customer service ever! Food takes over 30 minutes at delivery window when u call ahead! Also a slice of cheese cost $3.00 extra when adding to a $6.49 tuna sandwich. They charge miscellaneous fees on food. The bill becomes double the price as advertised.

Had the bistec empañado with white rice & tostones; it was very good food & the portion size is big. Fast service too.

The place was clean and the food came out super quick. Large portions for an affordable price. The food was pretty good and came out hot. None of the people I was with were able to finish their plates. 2 people can easily share an entree. I was annoyed that they charge you 20 cents for to go containers which is nothing but why???

Great prices, good Cuban food... We were staying at the hotel across the highway, waiting for a flight to Cuba, so we wanted to get a preview on Cuban food. I'm glad we stopped in here because everything was delicious and very inexpensive. Both our meals came with rice and Cuban black beans. Delicious! I had the grilled fish, Grouper, and it was also delicious with a side of salsa. My husband had a pork dish and it was excellent. Wait service was prompt and attentive. Prices were great! I'd recommend this place if you are staying nearby.

I don't really have much to say. The waitress gave my boyfriend and I a blank stare as we ordered, then turned to the perverted older man next to me believing she needed a translator. She took our order then eyed us indicating that we should be on our way. She was rude and unwelcoming. That's what we get for not speaking spanish in 'Murica. Whatever. I got over it fast, because of what really matters: The food. The beef stew is so similar to my mother's Caribbean stews..AUTHENTIC!!! I ordered a side of rice, which filled the entire "to go" container. You won't go hungry if you order from here, and the food won't disappoint you.

I came down for business from Orlando.. I was craving Cuban food!! Yelp!! Did NOT disappoint!!! The food was great!! It's def enough for two to share. The plátanos are def huge!! But worth it!! The only down fall is the extra charge for the container to put your left overs in.

GREAT lunch here. The food was delicious authentic Cuban food. I tried the lunch special with the steak & onions for something crazy like $7.99! Also had two..yes two Cuban coffees and I went back to work a happy camper. I took away one star because it took about 20 minutes to pay the check. That could be a fluke, I am not sure BUT nonetheless the food was great and dirt cheap!

The food is really tasty and the service is very good. Very relaxed, informal atmosphere. I loved the maduros and moros. If you are looking for good food without frills, check this place out.

I had the most exceptional meal here yesterday. The quality of the food was phenomenal, the service was fabulous, and the price was much less than I would have paid most anywhere else. I ordered from the daily specials menu, and got the filete a la plancha. For sides I ordered rice and plantains. The presentation of the food was more than I had expected for a dish that was only $9.99 and I was just blown away at how fresh the fish was and how flavorful everything tasted. I ended my meal with a cafe con leche, and ordered 2 desserts to go for my wife and daughter, as I just had to share a little bit of this restaurant with them too. As I drove home I was reminded of how a great dining experience can really brighten your day and change your mindset. I will go out of my way to return to this restaurant.

Ordered breakfast this morning for myself and a coworker. 10 minutes apart. I asked if they could come together but was told mine was already on the way. when my order arrived it was incorrect. I figured they just misunderstood me. When her's finally came, it was what I had ordered and was cold and soggy. I called to complain and was simply told they were very busy, no apology, no offer to make it right. Guess our office will have to find another breakfast place so they won't be as bust anymore.

The staff here is excellent. I let my server Aura do the ordering as i had no idea. I asked for soup as well. The chicken soup was a noodle soup with potatoes and was okay but the shrimp dish i had was excellent. The fried plantains that came with it were nice light and fluffy on the inside. The owner came by as i got my food and offered to get me some blackbeans which put everything over the top. The cuban coffee was also excellent. I'll likely be back here for breakfast all week as its right across from my hotel and bacon, eggs and coffee is under $4

The chicken steak is pretty good with the grilled onions on top,my sides were black beans and rice and sweet plaintains. They have daily specials at a really cheap price. All around a pretty decent meal for the price.

Walked in with a group of seven and were seated quickly. The place had a couple families, two extended family groups and a handful of couples. Waitresses spoke little English but worked to get the orders. A friendly older guy helped with translation when needed. Staff was great across the board. Here's the report: Half-chicken was delicious. Served hot and tasty with onions and peppers and lemon. Black beans at the place are very good. The chicken and yellow rice was the size of a volcano and both people who ordered it seemed very content. Meat was moist and tasty and the rice as well. The pork was authentic, according to one who could know, and was similar to pork he had eaten in Mexico in Mexican taco meals. I had the Cuban two years ago and it was very good. Similar comments this year. They offer two versions- the one we ordered was their special. Plantain slices were the appetizer recommended by the staff. They are very thin and fried with a fabulous garlic-lemon dipping sauce. Stay away from the boiled tuber. Not sure what we were thinking. This one may have been lost in translation. Most our meals came with two sides and too much to eat. The tubers were not a big loss. The Hilton Garden Hotel across the street is a great place for the night before a cruise. This restaurant makes it even better. The street to cross looks formidable but the traffic comes in pulses. Wait a bit and you will easily cross.

Great service from greating to desert. Food was very good. I order chicken breast with mash potatoes and steam veggies + small green pee soup. Very good taste of fast and healthy meal for lunch. Priced at about $10 per person is an economic lunch around Doral. The staff was very nice and reacted fast to our calls

Your good ol' Cuban breakfast is pretty good and their lunch/dinner portions are pretty big! Located in the corner of a shopping plaza near the Palmetto and 36 exit on the east side.

Those of you who know me know, very well, that I am NOT a fan of cuban restaurants but hubby is. Yesterday, being the birthday of one of our co-workers, he took on the excuse that she likes cuban food to go to one of these restaurants. We've been to other locations of this restaurant and they've been OK. This one, on the other hand, was GREAT! We got there and the place is pretty new, very nice looking, very clean (thank God) and the service by ALEJANDRO (water boy) and KARINA was EXCELLENT. They were very prompt with our orders. Everything came on time, totally delicious and wonderful. Against my principles (lol) I will accept that, this location, will be a do over.

This place was very good and so authentic that the waitress and me had language issues. I pointed to the steak, lettuce and tomato on flat bread and she just said ok. Good service and food, it would help if you spoke some Spanish also.

    (4)
  • Adrian V.

Ask yourself one question- do you speak Spanish? If your experience is anything like mine, answering in the negative could definitely lead to rather cold and disinterested service. I didn't see any other reviews making mention of this, so I do sort of doubt it's a problem among all of the employees, to be fair. My girlfriend was also fortunate enough to be continuously ogled by a man there(not sure if he was an employee or not), and while she certainly deserves appreciation for her loveliness, it was certainly excessive. The spanish sausage sandwich I ordered for the express purpose of alliteration was decent, and the beef stew was also fairly good. It's definitely fairly good food and inexpensive, but with so many better alternatives in the area, my sexy ass will not be likely to return.

Affordable and tasty Latin/Cuban food. We spent the night at La Quinta Inn and this restaurant is basically next to it. We decided to try it out. We ordered pollo and Palomilla, portions are good, food is tasty. Prices average $10 bucks, the place is very clean, free WiFi and the staff is absolutely friendly. We enjoyed the experience.

OMG! We loved this place. Mind you, it isn't fancy but it was the best breakfast I've had in a LONG time. Order the breakfast at the top of the menu. If you are with someone else there is PLENTY to split. It comes with two eggs, meat of your choice - I got the yummy Spanish sausage - toast, pancakes and coffee con leche. Let's start with the coffee con leche - my friend said it should be called leche con coffee since they bring you steamed milk with a side of espresso. And I don't know what they do to it but when combined it takes fantastic. Still dreaming about that. The toast is actually something like a long panini with butter inside (I know I must sound like a total gringo as I'm sure there is a culturally appropriate name for this type of bread - I'll just say it was crispy and tender and doughy inside). Delicious. Then the main course arrives. Also delicious. Perfectly cooked eggs over easy. And the pancakes!! Huge and the perfect sweetness. Oh, and the Orange juice is fresh squeezed and tastes like California sunshine. The servers were very nice and patient with us as we attempted to communicate what we wanted and kept adding items as we tasted each other's food.

SO DELICIOUS. And cheap with really big portions! Not at all too greasy or too salty like many other spots-- but it was all super flavorful. I'm so happy I decided on this place. Service was surprisingly fast and very friendly. Can't wait to try more!

  • Gary F.

Little hole in the wall, not in attractive strip mall but that's ok. Very big place, almost set up like a diner on one side and tables on the other side. Cuban coffee is banging, didn't care for the calamari something not quite right for me. Staying at the trump Doral, and felt obligated to have Cuban since we are in Miami!! Checked Yelp, and saw this place so we came by!! The sandwiches are freaking huge, definitely shareable and then some. I got the steak sandwich and Amanda got the Miami sandwich. Both were excellent. Got two order of fries so unnecessary. Just like sandwich one was plenty for both. Great spot if you're in Doral area and are craving Cuban.
