I was looking to a place to grab some breakfast in between classes and I soon as I walked in D'oro I was welcomed by Luciana. She was really nice and explained the menu for me. I sat on the outdoors are which is really nice despite that is in the middle of Downtown. The food was delicious and the coffee was great. The price was reasonable for the food quality and the ambience. I would totally come back to D'Oro.

I had some time to kill before a salon appointment downtown. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat around lunchtime. The restaurant was cute, with good outdoor seating for people watching. I had a prosciutto panini and an iced tea. The panini was delicious, with good crusty bread, good quality meat, fresh mozzarella, and arugula. It also comes in a small size that was perfect for me. The iced tea was canned but not terrible. Overall, it was a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat while downtown.

Great spot for breakfast and coffee, you have plenty of choices about Italian style coffee. There is a little buffet station where you could make your own heavy meal in a very affordable price.

My delivered food from this place was ugh. Prosciutto w/ tomato mozzarella came so wet and watery. Taste wasn't as good as expected based on the 4.5 star avg rating. I also had a high expectation of their cannolis. Well, I only had 2 bites and threw away --2nd bite to make sure what I smelled the first time was correct. It smelled like it's been sitting in the fridge for several days... Which also made the pastry shell soggy and limp. Only thing I really liked was their complimentary baby-sized pistachio biscottis. Next time I'll go back to try their coffee and few other things... Just to give them a 2nd try..

After I had left the review, shortly later I had a phone call apologizing and explaining the delay and offering to give a free order. I explained we had dinner plans but preferred it at 9:30am the next morning. The restaurant was very professional and courteous and sent someone exactly 9:30am today with the exact order delicious and fresh. I was very impressed by the warmness then the very punctual second delivery and my husband and truly appreciated that and will def order again, great for a quick tasty delicious filling breakfast!

Last Saturday I celebrated my birthday, 25 adults and 8 kids invited, and D'Oro Caffe took care of the catering! Everything was delicious. The Farro Salad and the mushrooms were the most wanted salads, together with the Tramezzino sandwiches (Bianco and Nero ) Picked up everything in nice black plastic bowls and platters, that looked good on my table so I didn't have to worry about dinnerware. Think about them if you want to relax during your parties! Everyone in my party loved the food! THANKS!

The proprietor is overcharging for menu items to pay for the exorbitant restaurant accoutrements and excessive use of packaging. I purchased the Chiara salad. The menu describes it nicely however upon eating the salad you suddenly realize it's nothing larger than a restaurant side salad with a tasteless dressing and dried prosciutto lumped on top. And when I say dry prosciutto, I mean dried out prosciutto. The cost for this lovely delicacy? $10.90. My dining companion enjoyed or at least attempted to enjoy the Pietro Panini sandwich, a pressed grilled sandwich made with turkey, tomatoes, fontina cheese and pesto sauce. Upon eating the sandwich my dining companion discovered that the sandwich was tasteless, cold, (no Panini marks whatsoever on the sandwich) and served without a side. (A cold Panini, what a novel approach.) The cost for this culinary delight? $9.30. Total cost of the meal was over $21. To the proprietor's defense he did package it up in some really nifty and I might add expensive packaging and carry bag. Our overall dining experience this evening? It sucked. Will I ever try the restaurant again despite it only being one block from my apartment building? Hardly. Nor will I recommend it to neighbors or friends. D'oro Caffe, You have your work cut out for you.

Love this place for delivery. I have never been to the actual restaurant, have only ordered via eat24 app. Everything I've tried is always fresh and delicious. Love their juices, iced lattes, empanadas, salads, sandwiches and breakfast items. My boyfriend has tried their pasta also and it looked good. And they always throw in some almond biscotti for free which is a nice touch. My favorite place to order delivery from in the area.

Meeting fellow Yelpers in da hood for an impromptu lunch made this place even sweeter - but it was pretty sweet by any measure. Oh-so Italian in a Euro-chic minimalist kind of way. Capice? No? Well, think cold melon soup and tiny individual sandwiches with fig and goat cheese and salty creamy slivers of cheese and meats - soppresata, olives, yum. Lunch specials daily are a good value, too. Sit outside or inside where you will find a a small counter area that overlooks the street. A good place to take a break from the downtown grind -- and meet up with the loveliest people in town.

D'oro is a little cafe in Downtown that I absolutely cannot get enough of! The have the best Italian sandwiches, salads and desserts. (They even have macarons!!!) I visited d'oro caffe last night with my family for dinner, the atmosphere was great! The place is very relaxing with down lights for the night, and not loud music, you can actually talk!! Difficult thing to find around here in Miami. We sat on a counter in front of the kitchen...yes!!!! You can see actually the kitchen working, even the white floor looks spotless, The food...AMAZING!!! All the ingredients taste and looked really fresh, we've tried the Massimo sandwich, a chicken salad with mushrooms (I don't remember the name of) and a chicken stuffed flat bread, everything delicious!! To drink we asked for a bottle of wine, you can choose from a huge variety from around the world and they surprise us with a 20% OFF the bottle!!! I don't think there is much more to say about d'oro caffe, highly recommended, we will be going back soon!!! Thank you guys for a great family night!!!

It was a spontaneous stop for a quick bite. When you walk in it's very tight, you can see when they make your food. Menu is extremely complicated, not English friendly! I ordered the massimo (prosciutto sandwich) With barely any prosciutto in it. It cold instead of warm. Barely any service available. Purchasing a bottle of water is a rip off. Will not go back.

1st time customer. Ordered through Grub Hub. Had food in less than 15 mins. WOW. Lasagna was as good as mine and I am super picky. Will order from here again just because of the lasagna. Downside, didn't get any bread with it. Bummer. Order size was decent though and plenty of yummy homemade sauce. Tried the Canaoli. Nothing to write home about. Tried the Lemon crème tart. OMG! Will definitely order it again. Tried the Tiramisu. Too small and VERY bland. But man that lemon tart thing more than made up for it! Overall 4 stars for the lasagna and lemon tart. Will definitely order again. AND THANKS FOR THE FAST DELIVERY!

D'Oro Caffe is latest place to open on the ever-expanding strip of NE 3rd Ave in Downtown. This hidden gem offers freshly-made bruschetta, salads, and sandwiches, as well as desserts and unique beverages. They also have a market where you can pick up Italian imports like olive oil, pasta, tuna, and fancy peppercorns. I've been for lunch a couple times and had a different sandwich each time. The Tito with soppresata, artichokes, goat cheese and sweet paprika is fantastic - served on crusty bread - it's definitely a filling meal. I've also had the Nerone with speck, figs, and gorgonzola, though I thought it could've done with more figs. Prices are reasonable, and the service at lunch is friendly and speedy. There's a handful of counter seats inside, and a few tables outside. D'Oro is a unique and tasty addition to Downtown. It's definitely worth a stop!

I come here often, considering it's right below where I live. It's quick, the food is nice and it's a chill place to spend a sat or Sunday morning. The coffee is pretty legit (segefredo) and the sandwiches n paninis are delicious. The only problem i have is I feel since I've been coming here the portions keep getting smaller and smaller and the prices r pretty expensive. The food is great don't get me wrong but I def felt over priced for a few items on the list

Bruschetta with mangoes and spicy sauce! Yes, you read those words correctly. Only the beginning of what amazing culinary treats this new little Downtown spot holds. I have realized that my lunch break is not only about food, it's about that precious hour to have 'me' time and D'Oro delivers on the food AND the atmosphere for me to unwind and relax in the middle of my work day. Even during these warm summer months, I've found myself taking a seat outside since the location gets a perfect Bay breeze. So far I've had samples of various bruschetta, all of them quite yummy but the star is really that mango one; not chopped up pieces of mango mind you, whole slices of delectable juicy tropical deliciousness. MmmmMmmMMMm!! I've also had several sandwiches, my favorite so far being the one with Mortadella. This week I ordered a salad (after over indulging two weekends in a row thanks to my bday and Labor Day) and was surprised to see how HUGE it was! Quite fresh and flavorful too, served with a side of those little thin bread sticks that I don't recall the name of. I also like that they have a good selection of quality teas from Tea Forte. They even serve a little sweet treat with your tea! They sell boxes of the tea, as well as olive oils, jams & sweets, as well as lots of other goodies in their little market section. D'oro gets the gold in my book!

Love this authentic Italian inspired sandwich place. They offer a variety of simple yet unique sandwiches and salads. A few pasta dishes are also served daily, made fresh. The cool thing I like is that you can order a half sandwich for about $3.80-4 bucks vs. a whole sandwich for nearly 10bucks. Antipasti can be purchased by the bound and I love the marinated gigante beans. Only down-side - every time they made a mistake with my bread, so I believe the communication between the person taking the order and the kitchen is off. If you crave Italian goods, such as Buitoni cookies and a like, do not go further as you can purchase those here. For non-italians running this, pretty authentic.

Four of us decided to meet up for lunch downtown on a recent Friday. After some back and forth, we decided to try D'Oro. This place has a decent lunch menu with several different bruschetta, panini and salad offerings. On this day I think all four of us got their lunch special, which was their soup of the day (chilled mango), your choice of two of their small paninis and a soda or bottled water for $9.99. This place has a limited amount of seating inside, and a few high tables and chairs under a giant umbrella on the sidewalk in front. It was overcast an a bit drizzly on this day; while 2 of the ladies were ordering their meals, I grabbed 2 of the tables out front and moved them together under the umbrella so we were able to be sheltered by it. IMO, this "Caffe & Market" was a very good choice for lunch. The soup and both paninis were really excellent, and the portions were about the perfect size so this lunch offering was filling, but not overly so. The only real negative, which I won't count against this place in my overall rating as it's really a general one that would apply to many of the restaurants downtown, is that D'Oro may be a great breakfast or lunch option for people who work downtown, but the biggest thing holding this restaurant back from attracting other patrons is the lack of available parking. Meter parking on the streets is extremely limited, especially though the week, and to park in a nearby garage for the hour I was here was more than $12, or more than the cost of my lunch itself. If the city of Miami truly wants to attract more businesses to the downtown area and they wish more people to patronize the businesses in that area, they really need to do something to improve the parking options.

I love real Italian places and this Italian cafe is no exception. They serve simple foods from prepared sandwiches of various sizes (even bite-size) to salads and pasta. Their largest variety of dishes are going to have to be the sandwiches - and I have to say they're good as they're concerned by the quality of their cheeses, meat cuts, and bread too. Even the mundane such as "mixed mushrooms" were tantalizing delicious! I've also come back often for their Italian-style coffee (regular and decaf). Even their macchiato was impeccable - a smooth and good-flavored coffee without any bitterness with excellent foam. I've had other types as well and it has not garnered any single complaint from me as of yet! Plus, it does come with a little cookie or sweet to satisfy any lingering sweet tooth you may have. I would definitely return.

I've ordered from them twice through Eat24 and loved the food and service! Their beef lasagna was great , and this morning for my lazy Sunday meal in bed I ordered a croissant with Italian cooked ham, fontina cheese, and egg. Delicious! Also had a meat empanada that was small but full of meat and had great flavor. Their Iced Mocha coffee was perfect and I'm waiting to gobble down my Coppa Stracciatella, which I had the first time and loved! The delivery guy was a sweetheart as well. Definitely ordering again!

I love this place!! Is THE place in Downtown Miami for trully gourmet italian food. Every detail was take into account, the store looks great (very NY style), the selection of products is incredible, and the panini s, pasta, appetizer s, dolce, etc. are all perfect and very sophisticated. I tryed a lot of different options, in store and delivered, and i cant find a bad detail about this place. I love Doro, i hope they keep doing it like this!

I really enjoy eating at this place. The food is fresh and healthy, the staff is courteous and service is fast. I love all the panini that I have tried, especially the one with prosciutto, and their salads are delicious. Top of my list is their farro salad. To drink I order their frullati, smoothies, made with fresh fruit. it is definitely my favorite Italian caffe in Miami. I highly recommend it. if you like to eat healthy and tasty at the same time, then you should definitely try this place, you won't regret it!

made plans with miss n to go for lunch in downtown recently. she suggested d'oro on 3rd avenue. i had never been before so i was excited about trying a new place. sandwiches, salads and soups. this is a lunch spot for those who work in the area. i wish d'oro would have been there when i lived in downtown! everything on display looked good. i wasnt so sure on what to go for but miss n told me about the bruschetta esplosiva. check it. toasted bread, cheese, sweet/spicy sauce (mae ploy) and thinly sliced mango. wow. im so glad i got to try that. the cashier saw that i was undecided on which sandwich to choose so he suggested to get their lunch special which consists of two small sandwiches and a soup. their soup of the day was chilled cantaloupe. i forget the name of the sandwiches i got cause everything on the menu has a unique name (and also, im very bad with names) but they both had cured meats and both were very good. the soup was nice and refreshing too but i could not finish it as the sweetness of it threw me off a bit half way through it. still, i am very curious to try the rest of their menu and hope to be back sometime soon. downtown miami is still growing and im very happy to see great spots like this pop up!

A little gem in the heart of downtown Miami. D'Oro Caffe is a true Italian cafe, with fantastic staff and food. Weather you want to sit down and enjoy an espresso, have breakfast or lunch or even order to go, it's the place to come to. Coming from Europe, it's the little places like this that I love finding here.

Awesome service, tasty sammy's, cute market with fine olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Great place for a quick lunch if you are downtown. They also have mini panini's like 100 montaditos but better quality ingredients. Worth checking out, especially if you're on the go.

Great little spot that opened up. Love the fact you can get food + a little market. I order both delivery and take out and the staff has always been friendly. I haven't tried a ton of different food there, but the croissant sandwiches are AMAZING. Panini pressed and delicious. The canneloni is also very good, and the nutella croissants are tasty. My only complaint was the cannolis. It might be my single favorite sweet in existence and I was excited to POSSIBLY be able to get a legit and authentic cannoli nearby. I tried it once, and the shell just had a stale texture to it. I figured ok, maybe it was sittin g for awhile or was a bad batch. Since the rest of the food was so good, i was going to give it another shot later on. Unfortunately, about a week or two later I encountered the same issue. It was barely edible. However...they still get 5 stars, because on top of the other great food they've often done nice little gestures by throwing an extra small random goody in my delivery orders, including some type of small italian cookies inside a mini bag with "enjoy!" hand written on it. (perhaps because they recognize i' m a semi regular and live right by? I dont know, they might do it for everyone. i didn't get them at first so I assume it's the former). Either way, even though it's a very small thing it's unexpected....that's really great service and how you open a business to keep long term customers.

I am a very happy person after my little Italian Lunch! Cute place, good prices, fresh food, and nice staf. One star is off because they took my sandwich from the display, and the exposed areas of the cheese and meat were dry - not very nice but it did taste good otherwise.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

If you're in downtown and you want to have great food, please check this place out. They are always very kind, the food is always fresh and i love this place with all my heart I wish D'oro cafe a long lasting successful life in Miami because they deserve it!

Loooooove this place! I order take out from them at least once a week. The toast with goat cheese and mango is the best!

Very nice and upscale Italian coffeeshop/market/lunch place. Friendly service and a nice outdoor area to enjoy. I would return here. This place is a step above the competition in terms of atmosphere and quality.

I asked for delivery yesterday and I was more than satisfied with the experience. They were on time and the sandwich that I try was delicious. I try the Pietro Panini and Tito Panini. I love them both, really tasty. Also I highly recommend the stracciatella cup. It is amazing!! I was so happy because it taste almost like Italy.

I had a really good salad (with mozzerella, chicken, artichoke hearts and peppers) for lunch here. I'm looking forward to trying the sandwiches soon.

I am a very happy person after my little Italian Lunch! Cute place, good prices, fresh food, and nice staf. One star is off because they took my sandwich from the display, and the exposed areas of the cheese and meat were dry - not very nice but it did taste good otherwise.

This place has the best lunch in downtown. My personal favorite is the 'Pietro' panini but everything is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful, I truly can't say enough good things about this place.
