Had dinner at Casabe 305 Bistro last night... There is nothing like Casabe in Miami! The decor, the ambiance, and of course, the food is GREAT and organic! Last night we ordered the "tequeños" - puff pastry filled with cheese that melts in your mouth - with guava sauce, and fried yucca sticks with chipotle sauce, as appetizers. After that, we had the ceviche which was delicious and as a main course we ordered Mahi Mahi with brown and wild rice and fresh greens! Some nice wine, and for dessert we had a delicious "flan". The chef comes out and greets you and makes you feel right at home... You don't know what you're missing until you go to Casabe!

Whenever you wanna keep away from busy restaurants, this is a perfect choice. Very exclusive place with a great fusion cuisine from the Caribbean. Daniel URdaneta.

I just want to start by thanking my boyfriend's friend Rodrigo who told us about this place. My boyfriend had just been promoted and I wanted to take him to a nice dinner but not to any typical restaurant. My biggest issue with this place is if you are not looking for it, you won't find it. They have a small entrance to the back parking lot (which is nice so you don't have to pay for street parking). The atmosphere is very romantic and cozy. All of the decor is mismatched, which I think adds to the fact that the place looks like it was decorated with a purpose. Now onto service: at first I was a little put off since it is apparent that everyone who works there is a native Spanish speaker- some never spoke a word of English to me. However, the chef/owner came around to our table a number of times to check in and just chat which was a nice difference. The food: AMAZING! You have to be one with an open mind and a good palette. We ordered an appetizer to stat- tostones with guacamole and ceviche- HEAVEN! For dinner my boyfriend ordered mofongo con camarones and I ordered pergo (red snapper) with jasmine rice and what I call savory maduros. Again, the food was really good! I would recommend this place to people who are open to new experiences and a romantic night out.

Charming restaurant-feels like someone's home. Excellent and attentive service. Both our main dishes- the salmon and churrasco were excellent. Salmon was served with a light quinoa and perfectly roasted asparagus and miniature yellow bell pepper. Reasonably priced wine. They even had a macrobiotic offering.

I came to this place with my best friend, who knows the owner. It was at first difficult to find, but when I finally found it, it was a charming little house! Someone greeted us at the door and he continued coming to our table throughout our lunch to make sure we were taken care of. The restaurant inside was sooo different than your regular Miami spot. Its a house. A cute and quaint little house. I loved the decor! The service was excellent. Definitely VIP treatment from the waiters, owner, even the bus boy! On to the food... The "casabe", which is what they give as opposed to bread, tasted like cardboard. I actually was excited to have some since casabe is the bread my natives used to make in PR centuries ago. However, it was gross. The appetizers though, were delicious. We had a few different " tostones" appetizers. One had guacamole and ceviche, the other one had cream and caviar, I enjoyed both, even though I'm not a caviar fan at all! We also had "tiraditos" and that was awesome too. As our meal, my friend had a shrimp dish with some kind of fruit in it which she ate it all, so I'm guessing it was good. I had the churrasco, and that was ok. Not bad, but definitely not as good as the appetizers. We skipped dessert this time. The best of this place is its ambiance. Totally worth the visit and would definitely go again to try different things.

"it's different" i uttered twice during my stay here at casabe. meaning ewwww ;( i thought.really it just meant i am a fat gross amarican eater. at the start of the meal we were offered card board yuca chips and at the end we ordered the oatmeal styrofoam cookies. in casabes defence -after a while the cookies grew on me. HOWEVEVAH....... from the tostones dolloped with caviar to the goat cheese rounds with sugar it was heavenly. i had a generous portion of snapper perfectly cooked with fragrant jasmine rice and plantains. thing 1 had the mofongo with shrimp (i sampled and lied that i didn't want more) thing 2 had the shrimp with cous cous. i admit i didn't try it,but thing 2 inhaled it as if it were going to the electric chair. we finished with a salad and a guava sorbet. i suppose because everything was prepared so fresh and organic i didn't feel like i wanted to kill myself. i felt happy and satisfied and not like i wanted to be dropped off at jenny craig. the decor was quaint,we sat in the "private"and charming dining room. the staff was attentive, helpful and on it! i will be a regular fer shizzle!

A few friends of mine and I decided to reunite here after a long time of not seeing each other. It was a Wednesday night around 8PM and the restaurant was relatively empty. We sat outside; in retrospect, we probably should have sat inside to avoid the Coral Way noise. The food was pretty good... we had some tostones that were delicious and some ceviche that was good. The service was all right, but my overall favorite line from the waitress was when she said she had to go check with the chef to see if they had some of the desserts on the menu available. Losing patience with some of these Miami establishments. Maybe I'll go back and give it another shot, but we'll see. After all, it is a pretty cute little house :)

I'd love to give this place a 3.5, but I'll stick with a 3 since I didn't really see what all the hype was about. First off, yes there is parking in the rear, probably about 8 spots worth, but when we got there for our 8pm reservation all the spots were gone and we ended up parking at a meter right out front. Walking in you can tell this place used to be a house, and they've stuck with that theme. Quaint would be the first word that comes to mind, and they've gone with the eclectic theme of using unmatched glassware, cutlery etc all to really drum in that you're dining at someone's home. Not my favorite theme, but cute none the less. Personally, we had zero issues with the service, and despite the fact that most of the other tables were full (outside was empty due to rain) all three of the wait staff came over to check on us regularly. We went with the tasting menu - 7 courses to be exact. Before I delve right in to the food, I'm going to say some (ok only one) courses were great, but most were just average. Overall I think the food was fresh and had good intentions, but I don't believe it's almost 5 star worth as the other reviews led me to believe. Course 1 - The casabe bread/crackers. Since every table gets this any way it probably should be a course. Not very tasty in my opinion. Course 2 - Ceviche. Pretty good. Course 3 - Pumpkin soup with hints of ginger and orange. This was delicious and worth going back for. Course 4 - he had the mahi and I had the lamb. So so in my opinion and the sides were kinda bland. Course 5 - Salad with balsamic. Good, but nothing to rave about. Course 6 - A rice pudding that was creme bruleed - kinda different and tasty. And a soursop dessert that didnt seem to have set quite right. Finished up by 2 "chocolate shots" that were best described by the bf as "thick nestle quik shots" and he didn't mean that in a good way. Course 7 - in house made orange rum. I appreciate the effort, but I'd like all of my courses to be food. Would I go back? hmmm probably not... maybe if things were a little cheaper, or maybe if someone would sell me on the brunch....

I felt like I walked into a friend's house when I went here for a girls dinner. We were greeted with complimentary champagne which was a delight. The server was happy to answer all the questions we had about the menu and was so helpful. I ended up having the mofungo (I probably just butchered the spelling) but it was shrimp-tastic! Great work to the chef. Other dishes that were ordered pork chops and then the steak. Needless to say we were all happy customers with full bellies at the end of the dinner. This place is a hidden gem and I look forward to going again soon.

This is the first time I write a yelp review... Selfishly, this place is close to my house, and I hope it stays open a very long time.. We all know restaurants turnover all the time, and in Miami at a higher rate. Sooo the chef here is very creative and the food is DELISH!!

Casabe 305 is among the best restaurants in Miami. With a charming atmosphere, eclectic menu and fresh ingredients--Chef Diego Texera has achieved a level of consistency that is hard to find. There is no better place to go out for fine dining while feeling like you're at home.

This place deserves the 5 stars. It reminds me of a beach side family owned restaurant in Barbados. Very Caribbean atmosphere and stellar cuisine. The chef came out to the table to make sure we enjoyed the food and he found we were beyond satisfied. The lamb is the winner prepared with rosemary that is on fire when delivered to your table.

What a disappointment. We had been to Casabe once previously for lunch, and the food was very fresh and tasty. But tonight's dinner was so awful, that I'll never eat there again! I left feeling both hungry and disgusted. We started with the empanada sampler which actually tasted pretty good. But it's hard to mess up fried corn empanadas with cheese or meat filling. The evening took a turn for the worse when the second appetizer arrived and finally our main courses. The tuna in the ceviche mandarin was fishy, and the noodles were quite hard. We ordered the lamb and the sea bass to share. The lamb was supposed to be medium but came out rare. We had to send it back to have it cooked properly. But it didn't have a lot of flavor, and the couscous was dry and bland. As for the sea bass, it was extremely fishy and had an ammonia smell. It was NOT fresh at all! When we complained they took it off the check, but they denied that it was old. If it was so fresh why was my wife's gag reflex in full force? My recommendation: save your money and eat elsewhere. It's no wonder both times I've been the restaurant was mostly empty.

Would have liked to give 3.5 stars but that wasn't an option. We came in at 9 on a Saturday night and they were out of salmon, octopus, and ratatouille. The seabass wasn't served the way it was described on the menu and the macrobiotic vegan platter that i saw on the yelp menu wasn't available. Also, they've adjusted their prices to make everything slightly more expensive than you see online. The appetizer portions are all very small and not worth the money. However, when the entrees came we were just floored! The portions of tuna and seabass were enormous and expertly cooked. The burrata salad i got in place of the macrobiotic platter wasnt healthy but the highest quality cheese. Overall, a cute and quiet place that is good for a date night and very different in atmosphere from anything else in miami.

We've driven past this little restaurant numerous times over the years and never gave it much thought, but recently my wife checked out their Yelp reviews and we both concluded it was long overdue for a visit. We had dinner here a couple nights ago with our little one and had a wonderful experience. This is a Venezuelan/fusion restaurant, and many of the dishes have that as their leading inspiration. We started with tequeños that had a sweet/spicy dipping sauce (Yum!) and tostones topped with ceviche. Both apps were excellent. For mains we had a duck Margret and scallops with a "mofongo" made from yucca. Both mains were quite enjoyable as well. Service throughout was excellent and the atmosphere is blissfully pleasant. I'd definitely come back.

Nice ambience. Quaint. Give it a three star because of that. It's a unique place but the food not my style. To be objective, it lacks flavor. My husband had the pulpo a la Parilla which is what I'm basing this review on since all I had was a salad. The pulpo looked undercooked not Parilla flavor. The spices it was basted in was not tasty. The texture was not the best for my sensory system (too mushy too plasticky). The casaba wasn't the best but the butter gives it an appetizing flavor. The pumpkin soup was healthy and did have hints of ginger and orange.
Nice ambiance, very good food and nice service. Totally recommendable. Arepitas with cazon, octopus, and cheesecake were really good!

Wow, Diego the master outdid himself, Parillita criollo with the perfecto guacamole, and fried yuquita "oh boy" que Rico and the seabass was incredibly outstanding, had a red risotto that was from outer space!!! Order the chocolate fondant, worth the 15 minutes!!!! Finish it with a house complementary orange rum liquor, whoa!! Darien was a gracious and informative waiter, friendly and courteous. Congrats and thanks for a great meal!!

This place is beautiful, the decor, the way the food is presented... its almost enchanting. The simple menu. The concept is so good... but it could be so much better. As soon as I walked in I thought I was going to love the place... I didnt, but I enjoyed it a lot and will definetely be back and maybe update this review. The menu is simple, Venezuelan food... organic. However the portions are very small, specially for the price. 4 tequenos cost 8 bucks... they are delicious but come on, there are atleast 6 joints in Coral Way where the tequenos are just as good and for the same price you get 6-8. The food was delicious, specially the plates with eggs. The arepas were very small and honestly I cant recommend them. The reina pepiada is no good. Overcooked and lacking flavor (fake aguacate, lemon?). Not sure but I would give them 3/5. The service is venezuelan... basically: your mileage may vary. Why do you guys cheap out on the sugar? One bag of sugar? seriously? and when I asked for more they gave me 1 more. Wtf!! Anyway its a lovely brunch spot, I recommend it... but it could be soooo much better with just a couple changes.

Had a delicious brunch here..the cavier arepa was delicioso. I want to go back for dinner
The food nothing extraordinary, the Arepa was hard, the prices so expensive in relation with the food served but the worse part, the service so rude and disrespectful, first and last time

This place is awesome! Me and the hubby came here for jazz night on a Thursday. As we arrived we were immediately greater by the owner and chef , he was very friendly and welcoming. We sat outside were they had the live entertainment. We ordered as an appetizer tostones yucatecos (extremely delicious and fresh) and the soup of the the pumpkin soup also very delicious and fresh. As the main course I had the yuca Mofongo with shrimp and the hubby got the churrasco with jasmine rice and truffle fries. For dessert we had a wasabi infused chocolate cake with organic vanilla ice cream, we were a little curious about the wasabi part but it was delicious and made to order. Our waiter , the live entertainment and the whole experience was awesome. Will definitely be back!

What a great restaurant! Being a Venezuelan native and married to a chef, it's hard to satisfy my palate but Casabe 305 sure did it!!! Everything was perfect, the selection of food, the atmosphere, the service, but most importantly the taste of those appetizers and entrees....they really took me back to the beaches in Venezuela and the days in Caracas! Can't wait to go back and try other exquisite entrees!

Nice little restaurant on Coral Way if your looking for something different. We went on Sunday for brunch with a few friends. If you drive too fast you'll miss the place. Tried the empanadas, tostones and Perico plater. All the dishes were great. Fresh squeezed juices were great (we added some Spanish champagne which made it even better). Prices aren't too bad for fresh food and for being in a cute little house right on Coral Way. They also had live music while we were there which was a nice touch.

Oh my yes. My bestie has been going here since they opened, she's friendly with the owner. She's been trying to get me to come to the mainland to check it out, and I'm SO glad I finally did. First of all, the decor. So cute, it's beyond words. Like walking into someone's really adorable home. I love their creativity with the wallpaper, I love the mismatched chairs, I love the bathroom. Everything sweet & clean. Now the food. Local. Organic. Vegan friendly. DELICIOUS. I started with the yuca fries. Granted, I'm obsessed with yuca fries. But these were the best yuca fries I've ever had. The miso soup was phenomenal: heartiest, most substantial, most flavorful miso soup I've ever had (bestie's 2-year-old had a cream of yuca soup (vegan broth based! yes!) that I was happy to help her eat, also amazing). The macrobiotic platter was delicious, and the guava sorbet, WOW. Super vegan friendly & super tasty, I will definitely be hitting this place again. YUM. P.S. For those of you who are not vegan, my bestie says to try the flan.

Excellent brunch with great service. The price is also perfect. You get A LOT for your money. I would go back any time. The fondant au chocolate is so good. Only for chocolate lovers though. The decoration is also very nice. I'll be back for sure.

Came here for Miami spice only to find out that it doesn't start until 1 pm. Since we were 2 hours early, we decided to just order from their brunch menu. It would really help if such info and their Miami Spice menu was available on the Miami Spice website as we basically came into the restaurant not knowing what was being offered. Besides that, the food was good, but nothing that screamed amazing. I would definitely recommend their daily soup, which seems to be the pumpkin soup that everyone else mentioned in their reviews. I ordered their tequenos, which are cheese sticks that come dipped in guayaba sauce (which reminds me of sweet and sour sauce). They only give you 4 so it's more of an appetizer. Their tostones were also delicious, topped with seafood, and guacamole. We also ordered an arepa, but it was just a-ok. I've had better from food trucks and at cheaper prices. The decor of the place is nice, and the building itself is hidden among trees. I'm curious to what their Miami Spice menu would be like, but since such info was not available on their website nor on the Miami Spice website, and the food didn't wow me at this visit, I find difficulty imagining I would venture here again.

Very unique place. We were a party of six and we were seated in what looked like the "dining room" of the house (no other tables in this area). Yes, the entire place looks like it could be someone's house. Very warm, welcoming decor and excellent service throughout the night. The star of our meal was the fresh fish. That night, they had Chilean Sea Bass. It was so fresh and juicy, you would guess it was dropped off by the fisherman 30 minutes before dinner. I have attached a photo of this dish. Other must-haves are the Yuca Fries and the Tostones with ceviche and guacamole. My side of truffle mash was great too. Reasonable wine prices, with a really good Albarino to pair with your fish. We will return for sure.

Bad experience Saturday night. Restaurant was very busy but that is no excuse for main courses arriving at our table ICE COLD Literally, ice cold duck magret and ice cold basmati rice. When sent back to be made hotter, they came back almost exactly the same temperature. No excuse for this. Very disappointing. Why would we go back??!!

Went for dinner with wife. Small, quaint restaurant remodeled from a home. Open and inviting. Good attentive service, although it was slow when we were there so that wasn't too hard to figure out. Owner Diego came over and chatted. Passion for freshness comes out in his food and prices were decent. Would return.
READ THIS FIRST: The place is very charming even if you don't like the "French country" meets "bistro" setting. The service is very friendly and spot on. The location is very unique, in the last actual old house left on Coral Way wedged between 2 larger buildings. Everything we had was very good and the octopus I had was the most perfectly executed I have ever had. The preparation could use more flavors but he texture of that dish was simply incredible. I cook and eat a lot of o-pus and this guy nailed it in a way that I didn't think was even possible. Very tender with the perfect amount of tooth to it but not at all mushy. It really almost melts in your mouth. It had the nice clean flavor of fresh o-pus. Chef /owner is very nice. I recommend the place for a very good casual meal that is the antithesis of Miami in many ways. Interestingly enough, the casabe was not so much, but maybe that is just how casabe is.

Our first visit to Casabe 305 was an A+. We enjoyed absolutaly everything. It is all made from scratch. We had tostones with ceviche (YUMM!!!), tequeños and pumpkin soup (awesome). For main course we had the seabass (best we've ever had) and tuna ( I am not a big fan of tuna and I gave it a chance and not dissapointed at all ). Decoration is very cozy and unique. Will def. go back. Gourmet and delicious food.

Went for brunch on Sunday and they refused to serve brunch since it was just 1pm despite the fact that they had already given us the brunch menu, after we made selections they said they couldn't serve it and brought in the dinner menus! Overall the complete lack of flexibility was annoying. The service we received from the waiters was good and attentive. I like this place for brunch.

Lost in translation...or just simply lost? My experience with Casabe 305 Bistro, a hard-to-spot newcomer on Coral Way, started with optimism that this homey, Venezuelan/Latin bistro could become a new standby. Looking a bit like a Latin Le Pain Quotidien, Casabe 305 seemingly has some of the ingredients and chef's pedigree to make it, too. My hope was overcome by the staff's lack of cooperation and inflexible, even alienating attitude: even with a reservation we made by phone and a nearly completely empty room (only one table occupied), our hostess insisted we sit at their small bar. The restaurant was only serving a "degustacion" (fixed) menu on a Saturday night, which, while it wasn't a problem, was the only way they would serve us. Offered a chance to sit outside on their patio on a hot Miami evening while an empty restaurant sits within, we passed on eating at this quietly obnoxious new establishment and just went elsewhere. I'm clearly not a "member of the club" at this place; unless things change, I wouldn't recommend you try to join it either.

The atmosphere was sublime and the food excellently prepared but the service left much to be desired. She was very friendly and agreeable, just annoyingly absent and inattentive (e.g. we sat fifteen minutes with an empty bottle of what had been an excellent wine and empty glasses). Anyway, back to the positive, which is substantial, the food was just quite remarkably good, and I don't say such things lightly. Excellent ceviches, wonderful grilled fish, tender and moist duck brilliantly sauced, etc. as well as a most charming and engaging owner host (Sr. Diego Texeda). I'll be back tomorrow for the well regarded Sunday brunch and back again for lunches and dinners when opportune. I highly recommend Casabe ...

I went for brunch with my mom and sis to celebrate mom's bday. Being the inner fatties that we are we were super excited to chow down on some of our native cuisine. Sadly, the adorable decor and charm in this cute little cottage were the highlight of our outing. The food was OK, nothing too memorable. The tequenos were decent, the guava dipping sauce was tasty but watery. The perico and arepas were bland. Mom and sis ordered sangrias and mimosas, which were both terrible. my sister sent her sangria back twice and the waitress wasn't happy about it and not afraid to show it. Apparently shes the one making them. Sorry sista! Overall this was not a pleasant dining experience. You can get way better Venezuelan grub from a food truck.

Went with a great amount of expectation due to the reviews. The ones that favored the place, most, without any doubt, get out more and enhance their education in food taste. I visited the place first to make sure it was pleasant for my wife's birthday celebration. Prepared with one of the waiters the seating and more or less the menu. We arrived at the restaurant an were seated as we planned. Selected wine and placed the orders. Tostones with caviar ( 1/2 star) Casabe the trade name ( i have to request it) needs something to go with it otherwise will not accomplish its objective ( it's our Caribbean version of the bread) Pumpkin soup was excellent (5 stars) Yuca frita, Ah! Whoever said " they are great", was not well informed. It's side sauce " average" (2 stars) I ordered the Duck (under the suggestion from the waiter ) with the supposedly tamarind sauce. ( it tasted more like a out of the fridge teriyaki sauce) and a Jazmin rice with no jazmin fragrance around (3 stars). And NOW, the most important part of the dinner, my wife's.( She was the one I want to impress) She ordered the Chilean Bass with mashed potatoes and veggies. Potatoes and veggies, average, nothing interesting in either one. The Bass, came undercooked ( and she was not going to tell but I asked a piece to taste it) Called the waiter, along came the Chef and acknowledge the mishap. Replaced the Bass 15 minutes after My cold Duck was finished and the dinner of my wife severely INTERRUPTED !. ( minus5 stars) and unacceptable when I spent $150.00 and have an special occasion like that extremely damaged. Overall do not feel balance between food quality and price. Chef, please look into it! At least when you as Chef/owner have a mistake like this ( knowing how much your client planned the occasion)that dish should taken off the bill as an elegant courtesy For us the experience wasn't good and ruined a day that is 5 stars if that is taken out of the panorama. We go out for lunch or dinner quite often, and to this place, we will not give it another try.

We recently visited this little gem on Coral Way. It was delicious and unpretentious. We started by ordering the tequenos with guava and chipotle sauce and the tostones with caviar, they were so good I wanted them all for myself. As a main course Iordered the yuca mangu, which was delicious a yuca pure topped with a shrimp stew, it was hearty, and perfectly balanced for for the taste and for the eyes. My only complaint was that there was only one choice of dessert, passion frit sorbet. The service was friendly and the owner came to say hello and see how everything was going, which is always nice

I really really like this place. I am a frequent lunch eater and my boss was the person who turned me on to this hidden little tropical gem. This place is a must eat for me when I'm looking for good quality and amazing tasting food. I've had several meals there and everything that I've tried has been fresh and delicious! Since the very first time I entered, the owner greeted me warmly and all the staff has always been very friendly. I would classify Casabe305 as a great tropical flavored restaurant. Although the owner is Venezuelan, this is not a Venezuelan restaurant, because the meals offered are more varied in flavors.

The decor is phenomenal, but it is nothing compared to the food. The staff is friendly and everything we had for dinner- ceviche, a unique and delicious mango soup, salad, mahi entree and desserts- was absolutely wonderful. We also had lunch there a few days prior and everything- down to the seasoning in the black beans which so many people just don't get right- was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. It's a great experience overall. :)

Amazing. We dropped in on a rainy night with no reservations. Only two seats available were at the bar and they couldn't have been a better seat in the restaurant. This was our first time there and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was amazing from beginning to end and the service was just as sweet. The chef came out just to say hi and see if everything was good with us. I would give the place a 10 plus.
(5)
Isis M.
The food was delicious, if a smidge pricey for what you get. The reason for giving it four rather than five stars is because of how agonizingly slow the service was. The slowness may not have been typical--there was a party of about 10 that kept the two wait staffers continually occupied, though aside from that party, there were only three other tables, including ours. Whether largely because of the group table or not, it took about 15 minutes after being seated to get a menu, and about 45 minutes after ordering to get soup, followed by about 15 more minutes to get the entrees. Finally, it took about 20 minutes to get the check, and that was because we have up and went inside to request it. Overall, the staff, when we saw them, were nice and, as mentioned, the food was delicious. I'm not sure how much of that was because we were starving by the time we got it...

Came here for a romantic dinner friend date some time ago and was so smitten we had to go back! The atmosphere is charming, cozy, homey and private. It's a tiny joint so I would recommend making a reservation. The portions are tiny (the mini empanadas are truly mini) but everything is so delicious it almost makes up for it. Definitely Venezuelan gourmet! I'll be going back soon to try their brunch.

This is a good Bistro. Not your classic Venezuelan food. The ceviche and lamb chops were very well executed and the flavors were very tasty. The place is very intimate and the attention could not have been better! It was a breath of fresh air to be served by such a great staff. Not a cheap place for dinner, but definitely will be going back.

I live about a block from Casabe 305 and even though it opened 4 months ago, I did not see it until about a week ago when we walked over to Xixon. It looks like a small house and the sign is hidden from view. I loved the decoration inside. We opted to sit outside since it was a nice night. For the appetizers, we tried the tostones and tequeños. They were great (and I'm not a big fan of plantains but loved the combination of flavors). My son loved the tequeños with the dipping sauce. For the main course, I ordered the grass fed steak with the green salad/goat cheese. It was very good (but the meat was a little cold). The salad was very fresh. My husband tried the mofongo but he misread the menu and he liked it but it was not what he was expecting. For the dessert, we ordered la torta de queso - it was the first time I tried it - not my favorite dessert but not related to how it was prepared, just not my favorite type of dessert (would love to see more dessert options). Chef came to our table to check how everything was - very nice! Waiters were friendly. We love the addition to the neighborhood and hope more places like this open up in the area. We will be back!

My first impression was the really great, intimate, kind of hidden in plain sight "house". When we went it was late at night and we were the only ones in the place. the staff was super friendly and helpful, they helped us pick items from the menu and all their recommendations were delicious! And the chocolate mousse cake... heaven!!! will most definitely be going back there!

Medium rare is hard to master but this churrasco was brilliant!

(5)Michael L.
Casabe 305 is among the best restaurants in Miami. With a charming atmosphere, eclectic menu and fresh ingredients--Chef Diego Texera has achieved a level of consistency that is hard to find. There is no better place to go out for fine dining while feeling like you're at home.
(5)Rob L.
(5)Bryan W.
(1)Emily B.

(4)Claudia A.

I fell in love at first sight - completely and totally enchanted. First of all, you have to be really vigilant when you are looking for the restaurant. For starters it doesn't look like your ordinary restaurant - it looks like a quaint home you would find in Coral Gables or Coconut Grove. Once you pass through all of the foliage you enter into what seems to be your grandmother's home, except the décor is looks a lot like a Nantucket summer home. And then the food - pure perfection. Not only is it delicious but every single bite you take in is good for your soul. When I spoke to owner and chef Diego Texera he told me, "When I cook my goal is to use cooking techniques that symbolize a home cooked meal. The greatest compliment I can get from a client is that my dish brings back memories of their grandmother's cooking." The reason why you feel you great eating Chef Texera's food is because when he cooks he puts together ingredients that will have the highest positive impact on your physical, mental and spiritual health. Did I mention he was a holistic doctor back in Venezuela? This man knows what he is doing. I had the chance of trying of few of his delicious dishes. Like the tostones with ceviche, tequeños, Scottish salmon and, of course, his chocolate fondant - which is out of this world. I guarantee anything you try at Casabe 305 Bistro won't disappoint.
(4)Daniel B.
Nice ambiance, very good food and nice service. Totally recommendable. Arepitas with cazon, octopus, and cheesecake were really good!
(4)Frank F.

(3)Nicholas M.
Had a delicious brunch here..the cavier arepa was delicioso. I want to go back for dinner
(4)Julie A.
Loved this place !! the service was great, the ambience too, an old house turned into a restaurant has beautiful décor and vibe to it. The food was amazing too. One of the best calamari I've had by far in Miami. The pumpkin soup was soooo good! I had the Sea bass which was tender and nicely set too. Finished off the night with a casero cheesecake that was very good too. The only down spot to the whole experience is the parking. They have valet parking for $8 which is just next to the restaurant. Basically its the restaurant's parking that you can only park there unless you valet. Seems an unnecessary cost to the patrons when there is plenty of street parking available. Why not just let your patrons park for free? Doesn't make any sense ..:(
(5)Keltse E.

(5)Claudia M.
(5)Richard B.
(4)Laura Jill S.
(5)Maru D.

Awesome food, have to try it! Try the Tostones Yucateños, the Venezuelan "Pabellon " and of course, the Classic "Arepa" , and , the "Cachapa" Excellent service ! Btw... Easy to park...
(5)Mahesh P.
Worst shit hole in Miami. Bad service, took forever to get food, mean owner, still hungry after paying $120 in food. Go some where else people.
(1)Viviane B.
The waiters are very attentive! I had the Scottish fish thinking that I was going to leave the place just as hungry as I had came in but to my surprise it was filling. Food was tasty. Their soup bowl is small.
(3)R.c. K.
(5)Andrea B.
(2)gabriel g.
(4)Beba U.
Charming décor and excellent service and food. Went to their Sunday brunch but will return to try their dinners.

(4)Jessica R.
(5)Chris N.

(1)Bradshaw L.

(3)Carlos A.
(1)Nicole P.
First time at this restaurant and I can't wait to return. Excellent food and service. Free parking in rear. Food feels like gourmet home cooking food.
(5)Elizabeth F.
Casabe never disappoints. The staff and owner welcome you as if you were a guest in their home. I've been at least 10 times and always find the food to be delicious, fresh, fairly priced and beautiful.
(4)Ada Maria F.
Excellent dinning experience. Can't wait to go back. Best pumpkin soup, the service is amazing. You feel at home eating gourmet food.
(5)Nori S.
(4)EJ M.

It is a little bit pricey but 100% worthy, I totally recommend it.
