Casa Juan is an easy-to-miss Cuban restaurant near MIA airport, but is an excellent place to get a massive amount of very flavorful cuisine. Versailles is the the one everyone talks about, but I had a much better meal at Casa Juan. The chicken fricasse is a half chicken, flavorful and moist in a rich broth, served with very flavorful potatoes, tostones on the side, and black beans and rice. I could have shared with two other people and we'd all be full. It's not just a generous portion though, it's really good. If you're in the MIA airport area, don't be afraid to venture into the little strip mall next to Publix and give it a try. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent.

The worst margaritas and service ever!!! Avoid!!!! Not even worth the one star.

My first time trying authentic Cuban food. It was very tasty, and the portions were huge. Too much to eat in one sitting. Also tried fried plantains for the first time. The dipping sauce was amazing. It was a secret recipe, and was not at all like salsa, as it had no tomatoes or tomatilloes. I even like the cute french fries, which were like little home fries deep fried in oil, instead of in a pan. Our waiter was very friendly, and spoke English well enough for us to understand with no problem.

So I'm on here for business. I'm from L.A. and I really haven't had cuban food before but SWEET BABY JE-SUS this food was off the chain! I mean from the bread to the mojito to the chicken...YES, YES, YES! I had the Chicken Fricassee (fricase de pollo) with sweet potatoes, black beans and rice, and fried plantains. Mmm. It's been a loooong time since I had some fried plantains I tell you! The chicken was so moist and tender, it just came off the BONE. MMM! And the potatoes were tender. The plantains were fried PERFECTLY. The black beans and rice were a bit dry but they usually are. My mojito was the BEST mojito I've ever had. I don't know what rum my waiter put in it but I only drank 1/4 of it and I was buzzin' HARD! LOL. Luckily my hotel is 2 lights away! lol! The bread was like a garlic, olive oil, lime concoction maybe...on fresh, soft, sourdough bread. Mmmm perfecto! I haven't had a meal like that in I dunno HOW LONG. I'm a picky eater and very critical but this place...5 stars hands down! You HAVE TO go there! ;) Es excellente!

Great portion sizes -- ordered the house salad and Cuban root vegetable soup (soup of the day) and the house salad was 4x bigger than I expected it to be. Ended up taking half of it home for later. My brother ordered the club sandwich and it was generously laden with meats and cheese and fries were mountain-piled high. The soup was not my absolute favorite, but had good flavors. We were in a time crunch (had to drop my brother off at the airport), and the servers were amazingly understanding and had the food out in about 5 minutes (wow).

Great Cuban food and great service! It was in a strip mall so we weren't sure what to expect but it was so good! I'm a huge fan of Cuban food, but my family had never had it. Since we were on vacation in Miami, I convinced them to go here and they are all fans now!

Located in a shopping plaza, Casa Juan has authentic cuban-latin food. the restaurant and it's owner have a tradition of almost 30 years in miami making homemade traditional cuban food. The menu is huge, the place is not fancy but it's a decent and clean place with wide variety of food from traditional cuban sandwiches to steaks, rices and seafood. Very affordable prices...almost cheap having in mind quantity and quality of food, the lamb in wine and tomato sauce is superb, tender, full of flavor served with 3 sides(there's ten sides to choose from) I've tried also the baby churrasco wich is really good too, tender and flavorful, served with chimichurri sauce, and again 3 sides. I had cheese flan as dessert and it was sublime,to close the lunch we had one of the best cuban coffees in town

Excellent. Love this place. Great food, friendly sevice, generous servings. The place is unassuming, no frills, almost hole in the wall in a shopping center but it was a delightful meal. Loved the lamb loin in some red sauce. Empanadas were best I have had this side of the border. And the cafe con leche was out of this world. The only bummer was we kept trying cafe con leche at other restaurants throughout our Florida trip and none came close to our experience here. The bar was set so high by our first Florida meal ar Casa Juan no other meal could match it.

The coffee was great. The service was horrible. Took 45 minutes for a simple breakfast for 4 people, we had to leave before they brought the order because they took so long. This restaurant DOES NOT know what French toast is, they brought toasted French bread. Not sure how they got this wrong. TWICE. Wouldn't recommend. Not coming back again.

A favorite place of mine when I'm in town. Everything from the freshly warmed bread, to the portion sizes, to the excellent taste of each dish, to the drinks are all muy bueno! Try the mamey!

My first experience with Cuban food and I loved it. People very nice and I tried their recommendation. Food was great but very expensive. Two could eat one dish so come hungry.

This place serves huge portion for what you paid for! The cuban bread with garlic sauce is really good although I'd have prefer less tangy version. The dishes aren't over the top, but you do get pretty decent service and portions. Food 3 starts plus 1 for service.

I have only been here once (but hope to go back). My food was Spectacular. I ordered an evening special - Fish with a creamy shrimp sauce...... YUM. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. The best Cuban food I have ever eaten. I see mixed reviews here- but my experience was very positive. But review your check - a sly waitress may try to add in a tip for herself ..... subtract 1 star.

I cannot believe that this place has a rating of almost 4 stars. Has everyone lost their minds along with their taste buds??? This is mediocre food prepared with cheap ingredients and should be worth no more than $5.00 per plate. The moros are made with artificial black coloring. The fried yuca was hard and inedible. It was just a bad experience. The service was good, I tipped 20% because I am sure that the servers have nothing to do with the quality of the food. Please, nobody get me started on the decor.....atrocious. It was painful to pay my bill.

The food was AWESOME! Me - Ropa Vieja with Maduros! J - Cubano with Moros y Cristianos. J got a side order of fries. We shared a beef empanada, which J had never tried before and loved! Our server though seemed to have better things than actually serve our table. We hardly saw him except to take our order, bring our food, and drop the check. No refills on water. J wanted some catsup for his fries, but never got a chance to ask for some. By the time our server came by, it was with the check and the fries were cold. 4 stars for the food. 2 for our server.

This place has really nice workers. They were professional and helpful and really nice to my sons. The food was decent but lacked flavor in the black beans and rice department. The Arroz con Pollo was really nice! I would recommend it if you are in the neighborhood but don't drive out of the way.

This was my first experience in a Cuban restaurant; I really enjoyed it. I had the Ropa Vieja en Carna de Fufu (shredded beef with mashed green plantains). It came with a side of rice and black beans and fried sweet potatoes. I don't know Cuban food, but I do know that I enjoyed this food. NOT JUST the food but the service, as well. From the moment we entered until we left, it seemed the staff couldn't do enough for us. They attended our table's every need. My only regret is that I don't live close.

Not worth it. If there are other alternatives find them. I'm not a big fan of Cuban food but the roasted pork is something I really know. CJR serves huge, and I mean huge portions. Unfortunately totally tasteless.

So i moved to Miami over a year ago and of course I love the food from every different spanish culture!! I, on the other hand, am American, so when my dad came to visit I wanted to give him the real cuban experience. I decided to take him here for breakfast and it definitely made a lasting impression. The pastries were mouthwatering and the cuban coffee was exactly what I needed to wake up! I definitely suggest this place! The menu was huge and had breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!!

came here for lunch on a wed and the place was fairly busy. they've got a walk-up window but we opted to sit. had the sandwich cubano especial. it was AWESOME! tender, flavorful pork, cheese, ham, mustard. what else could you want? how about the free garlic bread they give you when you sit down. also had the platanos maduros and those were good too. i'll be back next time i'm in MIA.

I went down to Dade County to make a delivery with the "Dogman". We stopped at Casa Juan for lunch. It was pretty good. I had what was called "Chicken Fricasse" in English. It came with a leg-quarter in a tomato-based sauce with some potatoes. Rice, beans, plantains. Standard Latin stuff. They had two God-forsaken TVs with Latin soap operas on (I'm getting a TV-B-gone.). Our waitress had a real hard time communicating with us because we don't speak the language of Miami. We used lots of hand gestures and just talked louder so she could understand us. She was real patient with us. I've never let something as trivial as language get in the way of lunch.

Visiting Miami and stopped at Casa Juan the food was delicious and everyone's review about big portions is correct. Service was great too. I recommend to stop in and try thir surf and turf if u can't decide what to eat.

Casa Juan is pretty lucky to be where it is - in the only shopping center it takes you less than 15 minutes to drive to from Blue Lagoon during lunch. That's really the only competitive advantage this place has because the Cuban food is below average, and the prices above average. I had a palomilla, and while the steak was OK (just OK) the white rice - my favorite thing to eat in a Cuban restaurant - was utterly flavorless. This plate was also $1-2 more than I'm used to paying at La Carreta, which has far superior food. If you don't have any other options you could do worse, and at the very least I found the service to be quick and attentive if you need to get in and out quickly for lunch.

Michael R.
I came to the walk up window for some breakfast the service was awesome and the food was very good. A few days later I came in between lunch and dinner. Had the Cuban lasagna and it was twice as big (for only $11) as I could've imagined and it was twice as good.

In Miami for a layover on New Year's Eve and partying and braving the traffic to see the fireworks was not in our plans. My plans were to rush to the AT&T store to buy an iphone at a lower taxed price than California and we were also hungry and came across Casa Juan in the same shopping center. The decor is dated and has a cheesy 80's feel and the menu is huge! The menu made me think of a diner with the options for breakfast, pastas, Cuban food, sandwiches and more! After eating fish day after day in Panama, I decided to go for the oven roasted lamb with a side of arroz moros (beans and rice), platanos maduros, and salad. The lamb was tender and I loved the whole potatoes in the stewy sauce. It was a bit salty for me, but not overly so. Arroz and platanos were good, loved the huge chunks of pork in the rice! Food was cheap and HUGE portions. The waitress was really sweet and went out of her way to help us find a cab on the busy new years eve night. I'd recommend it.

I was in Miami for an interview and got in super late to an airport hotel. I was hungry, and the receptionist gave me two menus for two restaurants that were still open: Chinese and Cuban. The Chinese place was already closed (obviously) and I figured I couldn't pass on Cuban food in Miami. I ordered a Cuban Sandiwich and plantains. They were fantastic. I was so so happy. The sandwich was huge and immensely satisfying. If I was ever in the area again I'd definitely give it another go.

Was in Miami for a business trip and this was in walking distance of the hotel. Ordered the chicarron de pollo which was actually quite good. Well seasoned legs and thighs of chickens fried to a crunchy exterior. The side dishes were disappointing. The fried plantains were oily and soggy and the mixed vegetables had the look (and temperature) of something that just came out of the freezer. Avoid the mixed vegetables at all costs. The french fries were good. The portions are huge and the prices reasonable. It's also a good place to watch people play the lottery.

I just checked in Spring hill Suites in maroitt miami and they had this restaurant in their suggested list. We wanted to try the Cuban cuisine and thought of giving it a try. I must say they have Amazingly delicious food and their rates are pocket friendly too. We ordered their specialty item casa pahelo, it was yummy..

Well worth it. Small restaurant tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza (can I just throw out there there is a Burlington in there? Always thought they were in malls...) Parking is hard, park towards the BK. Colorful tropical restaurant-- staff mostly speaks Spanish with some broken English but enough to know what you're talking about! There are daily specials every day of the week. But even without the daily specials, plates are cheap. For starters they bring out garlic bread with fresh garlic mix on top of the bread, super addicting.Huge portions (I always end up eating 2 meals) and pick 3 sides. Dont make a rookie mistake and choose soup or salad as one of your sides as they'll ask you anyways after!

So we ordered delivery to our hotel the day before our cruise thinking authentic Cuban in Miami...why not? Pros: The pork was good. Cons: 1. They forgot 25% of what we ordered. 2.When we called, they came back with some of the food and still left our red beans and rice. 3. I even asked if they culd throw in a piece of cake for the inconvenience and they showed up asking for more money....no thanks. 4. The salad we got was brown and looked gross. We were so tired that we just threw it away since we just flew in with an infant from the west coast. I'll never go back.

Great Cuban food within walking distance of the clump of hotels by MIA airport and Burger King HQ building. In a strip shopping center but don't let that turn you off. They bring out bread basket before meal with toasted bread covered in a seasoned olive oil and fresh roasted garlic.

WHAT A STEAL! A glistening smile covered my face the moment I sighted a roasted lamb option for the Wednesday special. Accompanied by a selection of 3 sides, the lamb special had me jumping for joy. I opted for boiled yuca, rice & black beans, and the classic maduros (plantains). When the order arrived to our table, I could not BELIEVE how generous their portions were. There was enough leftovers to cover me for two more meals! Overall, everyone at my table seemed quite pleased with their food. The interior decor here is superb. Ocean blue waves covering the walls put in a state of tropical relaxation. Will definitely make my way back here to try the cuatro leches dessert and steaming Cuban coffee.

Stopped here on a whim while checking to see what was in the shopping center. Man am I glad I decided to give it a try. I had the Paella for 1 and it was amazing!! Definitely plan on leftovers to take with. The service was great, they were very nice and checked to see if I needed anything often.

Casa Juan was so good I went back again the next night. The people are friendly and made great recommendations. I tried the sampler platter and ate every dish with equal fervor. Next time I'm back in Miami, I will definitely be visiting Casa Juan again.

I went there with a friend after a long day of travel to eat. It is usually that when you are hungry everything tastes good but not even. I ordered their fried snapper special with side of chicken soup and yellow rice. Red snapper whole fish good size Over cooked No flavor Soup Like warm Nice flavor though Yellow rice Tasted like cold yellow oat meal I will not be going back that's for sure. There are too many good Cuban/Latin places to eat in Miami .

I've passed this restaurant several times on my way to Publix or Burlington and never gave it a second thought until just a few days ago because of it's location in that shopping plaza. However, conveniently minutes away from our home, my girlfriend & I decided to give it a try on a lazy Thursday evening. To begin, they bring a basket of their spin on "garlic bread" on Slices of Cuban bread. For the garlic and cilantro lover it is absolutely delicious! My girlfriend chose the Corvina fish entree that included 3 sides and a house salad for $24.99. Some bites of it were a bit salty, but tasted better when she drizzled their creamy cilantro sauce over it. For my entree, I chose ropa vieja. It too came with 3 sides and a house salad for $10.99. The dish wasn't extremely salty nor greasy like I've encountered at other restaurants. The flavor was on point and the black beans reminded me a lot of how my abuela cooked hers...with a dash of sugar. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the servers were very attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful experience and will surely be going back in the future!

Placed an order with them for a steak. I asked for lemon from them as I'd out have at home. Was specific about it. The person who took the order acknowledged it. When the order was received no lemon at All they actually excluded it. I asked for it specifically they decided I didn't really want it. Spoke to management they gave a b.s. Excuse

I'm an Afrikaner and my wife is Portuguese, so we each have similar ideas about Ox tail and how to best prepare it. Tonight I had the opportunity to try the red-sauced Ox tail at Juan's and it was AWESOME! It's not cooked as long as what the Portuguese version is, so it sticks to the bone a bit better, but it was flavorful and complimented well with our choice of yellow rice and potatoes. The service too was excellent. The other dishes at our table seemed the normal, and somewhat standard affair that one may expect from a Cuban restaurant that has to cater for so many tourists because of its location (near the airport). I would however strongly suggest that you try the Ox tail because tourist or not, it was exceptional.

We were those annoying tourists looking for authentic Cuban food. Our waitress was patient and made good suggestions. The food was amazing!!! None of our party of 6 had one complaint and we all ordered different plates/sandwiches! There seemed to be plenty of locals dining there as well (so you know it's good!) The restaurant had a nice colorful decor & the restrooms were very clean. Overall, awesome experience.

Arrived on the early side as we had traveled all day and we hungry. Pre cruise night and our hotel had limited shuttle service to get us out to eat. Hearing that a good Cuban restaurant was close by, it seemed like a good plan. Being early, we were seated right away by our excellent server Aston. By the end of the night we had become friends and talked about his journey to the US and the optimism we all had of both relations and politics improving. Now the food... Could have filled up on the delicious crispy basket of bread topped with fresh garlic and parsley. We decided to split an entree. It came with 3 sides and we added 2 side salads. The salad was remarkably good. Fresh, crisp lettuce, carrots, cucumber serviced with a tasty cream, sweet dressing. We ordered grilled chicken strips with onions, peppers and garlic. The black beans and rice, sweet potato fries were a great compliment to our dish. Couldn't stop raving about how good everything was. I Then the dessert. Tempted to go back to it for breakfast ...it was that good. Homemade flan. Best I've ever had. Don't miss it. So what set out to be a way to get a quick bite and go...ended up being a fabulous experience. Enjoy and say hi to darling Astor for me.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The waitress was very helpful in making menu suggestions since it was my first time going to a Cuban restaurant. I tried the chicken with rice which was delicious. The salad dressing was great! A very casual restaurant. We were seated and the man sitting nearby was talking to someone on his cell phone with the speaker on. The servings were very large, not sure if the intentions were to be family style. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

For the most part this is my kind of place... a little divey... reasonable prices... friendly service. Most of the food we shared in our group of five was quite good. The things they do well they do very well. The "garlic bread" was a real treat. There were some stumbles. My chicken breast was a little dry. The side vegetables were a big disappointment... clearly frozen and badly prepared... a soggy mess. It's not the kind of restaurant you go out of your way for... but if it's convenient you're in luck... just stick to the Cuban classics.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Authentic Cuban food. Super super affordable. The service is beyond amazing. I order from here regularly because I work nearby. They don't deliver in my area which is such a bummer because I would definitely order like every single day if they did! But literally it's everything a restaurant should be!

.....standard Cuban fare. The menu mimics other similar restaurants, so there shouldn't be any surprises. If you are looking for your typical Cuban restaurant, this place is not bad. The food is well seasoned and not surprising in any way. The service on the other hand could use some improvement. I will be returning to this restaurant and updating this review as events warrant. Hopefully it was a fluke... Anything on the menu will be pretty good. Enjoy your stay..

Very yummy food at a good price. We just arrived late at the Hampton inn and wanted a bite to eat as well as make a stop at the publix grocery store. It was just a quick walk across the street from the hampton . We were very pleased with the service and the ample amount of food we received .

I heard very good things about this restaurant from Miami locals. Unfortunately I was considerably mislead. I ordered one of their best dishes called the "Mar Y Tiera". The plate they brought to me was awful, dry and absolutely no flavor. I felt like i was eating buffet food. The meat was completely dried out. When I asked them if they could make my dish better they not only refused but they made me pay for it. I hardly touched my plate and I absolutely hated it, but I still had to pay. The manager had no compassion and their arrogance was harsh. No customer service, very unpleasant eating and no regard for anything other than taking your money. I highly recommend that you find another place to eat, you will thank me.

This restaurant is in a kind of weird shopping center location, but it was near my hotel so I gave it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the arroz con pollo several times (I became a regular). The portions were huge and really satisfying. I love the fact that they deliver. Miami traffic is ridiculous and so is finding a spot in that parking lot during lunch time.
Good authentic Cuban food. Large portions. Very good service! Casual place with two big screen TV's to watch the game. But there was nice soft music playing. This is no sports bar.

Terrible. First time eating Cuban food and went over the specials with the server. Asked for one item and received something else that was almost double the price. I didn't know what I was eating so I didn't send it back. Also charged me a different price than what's on the menu for domestic beer. Server would not correct any of the charges until I asked to speak with the manager. First Cuban experience... worst Cuban experience.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Cubans have all fled Miami, returned home, replaced by the nondescript Juan. Moros made with "red" beans, bland taste, wrong color. Casa Juan presents a scary imitation of Cuban cooking. The mystery is how did Juan obtain the steak? No doubt the unfortunate animal survived its forced swim from Havana before its muscles were further toughtened up by Juan's secret tendorizing. I award the experience 1 red bean after devouring the rest from fear of starvation since the steak could not be cut.

Holy cow. If you leave here hungry, don't blame them. A $12 entree comes with your choice of three sides AND a salad.... I should have taken a picture but now I am full and there is more than enough for another meal left. The roast pork was tender and delicious, black beans perfectly seasoned, salad colorful and crunchy. I wish lived closer...

Heaping portions are the hallmark of Casa Juan.. I've always gotten the daily specials whenever I've come here on a work lunch outing, and have always left with lunch for the next day. With three sides included with an entree, you'll always leave satisfied! The food is just as good as Cuban tourist traps such as Versailles, and I would argue the meat is cooked to juicier temps and textures. I ordered the roast lamb and also tried the roast chicken, accompanied by salad, plantains and moros (black beans and rice). If you've got a hankering for authentic Cuban, definitely stop by! The restaurant is located in a strip mall that surprisingly is scarce for parking despite having a huge lot.

No chicken in the chicken soup to-go. This place becomes more and more of a joke. I don't understand how they can screw-up chicken soup:( I didn't feel well today, and they are on my way home. Rediculous! I get home and its just noodles a piece of potato and broth. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.

Stopped in Miami for an overnight layover and our hotel recommended Casa Juan. Being in Miami we of course ordered a Cubano and one of my faves Paella. Both were really good. My husband and I kept eating the Paella...to the point we left feeling almost sick from overeating. It was that good :). Have had better Cubanos but it was still on par. Excellent service and perfect proximity so A+

(5)Lisandro F.

(5)Ray V.
My first experience with Cuban food and I loved it. People very nice and I tried their recommendation. Food was great but very expensive. Two could eat one dish so come hungry.
(4)Francisco S.
This place serves huge portion for what you paid for! The cuban bread with garlic sauce is really good although I'd have prefer less tangy version. The dishes aren't over the top, but you do get pretty decent service and portions. Food 3 starts plus 1 for service.
(4)Chriss M.
(4)Isabel S.
(1)Jill C.

(2)Dale G.
(5)D S.
Not worth it. If there are other alternatives find them. I'm not a big fan of Cuban food but the roasted pork is something I really know. CJR serves huge, and I mean huge portions. Unfortunately totally tasteless.
(2)Drew G.
This place is solid. Nice people, big portions of good cuban food.
(4)Alien T.
Very delicious and awesome cuban food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to try some good cuban food. I went here twice when I was touring South Florida. Cuban Creole was great.
(4)Jennifer M.
(4)dan a.
came here for lunch on a wed and the place was fairly busy. they've got a walk-up window but we opted to sit. had the sandwich cubano especial. it was AWESOME! tender, flavorful pork, cheese, ham, mustard. what else could you want? how about the free garlic bread they give you when you sit down. also had the platanos maduros and those were good too. i'll be back next time i'm in MIA.

(3)Faride S.
Visiting Miami and stopped at Casa Juan the food was delicious and everyone's review about big portions is correct. Service was great too. I recommend to stop in and try thir surf and turf if u can't decide what to eat.
(4)Leilani D.
(2)Michael R.

(4)Brett J.
(2)Cristabel M.
(5)April J.
(4)Anthony W.
(1)James P.
Great Cuban food within walking distance of the clump of hotels by MIA airport and Burger King HQ building. In a strip shopping center but don't let that turn you off. They bring out bread basket before meal with toasted bread covered in a seasoned olive oil and fresh roasted garlic.
(4)Jiten S.
(5)Dondee J.
Stopped here on a whim while checking to see what was in the shopping center. Man am I glad I decided to give it a try. I had the Paella for 1 and it was amazing!! Definitely plan on leftovers to take with. The service was great, they were very nice and checked to see if I needed anything often.
(5)Tania M.
I have been going to juanitos for years Always leave a tip several ocassions they Have giving me the order wrong missing things i always call to let them know they are so rediculos they ask for the stuff back like if you where lying today i had ask for a pan con croquetas no croquetas inside i went back they ask if i had the toast you made the mistake other places they just simply give you anotherone very dissapointed at this place i have gone there for years now alway the same thing but i simply had it today i had to drive back from work its always the same i dont think its fair to a customer
(1)Andrew B.
We enjoyed a great meal with attentive service. The hotel directed us here and we would go back again any time. Paella was fantastic. Prices were reasonable and it was better than you could possibly hope for in a strip mall.
(5)Ben D.
Casa Juan was so good I went back again the next night. The people are friendly and made great recommendations. I tried the sampler platter and ate every dish with equal fervor. Next time I'm back in Miami, I will definitely be visiting Casa Juan again.
(5)David C.
(2)Toni S.
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! Had a nice bottle of wine with dinner! Great food great wine, even better staff!
(5)Stephanie D.
(5)Fernando D.

(4)Noelle K.

(5)Rebecca R.
(4)Robert B.
(3)Kristine A.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Authentic Cuban food. Super super affordable. The service is beyond amazing. I order from here regularly because I work nearby. They don't deliver in my area which is such a bummer because I would definitely order like every single day if they did! But literally it's everything a restaurant should be!
(5)Raul M.
.....standard Cuban fare.
(3)Siao S.
Very yummy food at a good price. We just arrived late at the Hampton inn and wanted a bite to eat as well as make a stop at the publix grocery store. It was just a quick walk across the street from the hampton . We were very pleased with the service and the ample amount of food we received .
(4)Lisa B.
The lamb is EXCELLENT! The service was great! I've had breakfast here too. My eggs were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
(4)Tommy M.
(1)Ruth C.
(4)Wayne H.
Casa Juan is easily lost in the small plaza on NW 7th but is well worth finding. Greeted by a friendly staff I sampled the extensive Cuban menu: The Caldo Galego (Galicean soup) had white beans, Cilantro, white potatoes and sausage. Unfortunately it was neutral tasting at best. I added some black pepper which improved the blandness a little bit. The arroz amarillo con puerco was excellent with large chunks of pork mixed with yellow rice, sweet orange peppers and green peas. I recommend it highly. The Yuca hervida (boiled) topped with warmed onions did nothing for me. The white-on-white dish was not inspiring as a basic south American staple. For dessert I was tempted by the Flan coco which had a thicker texture than most. It had great presentation and was delicious. My dessert was accompanied by the best Café con Leche I've had to date. Hot rich milk served with dark, intense Cuban coffee. It had an exotic silky texture and I enjoyed seconds and thirds. Portions are huge for the price. Casa Juan is a hidden treasure worth discovering.
(4)Amy E.
Good authentic Cuban food. Large portions. Very good service! Casual place with two big screen TV's to watch the game. But there was nice soft music playing. This is no sports bar.
(3)Andrew B.
Amazing Salmon with mole sauce. Would totally get that again.
(4)Marlon S.
(1)Willie L.
(1)Devan and Brian N.
(5)Elaine Z.
(4)Otty B.
This restaurant is near to my house. I always order food to pick up. Authentic Cuban Restaurant. I eat today at the restaurant & have a great experience. Friendly & attentive server Maylen ! She's amazing! Good on time! & delicious!
(5)Eli M.
(1)Julie S.
Wow, some of the best food I've had in a really ling time!! Try the fried Cavasa!! I couldn't stop eating, I want to take them back to Cali with me. Thanks Casa Juan!!
(5)Morgan B.
