Came here for dinner for two on a Saturday evening. Although it's a chain, Carrabba's was a good choice for dinner...It's dimly lit with lots of dark woods, cozy booths, interesting light fixtures, and an open kitchen where you can watch them preparing the dishes that the patrons have ordered. If you're more inclined to sit at the bar and watch the game while eating, they have a good sized, well-stocked bar with a few screens for watching sports and other programming as well. Our waiter was great, and when my dining companion was torn on whether he wanted a pasta or meat dish, the waiter lowered his voice and said "Let me clue you in on something; Our meat dishes come with a side, and for that side, you can order any of our pastas". Our server was great throughout the meal. I had the lasagna, my friend ordered the pork chops, which featured 2 large pork chops and a side of pasta. I also ordered a beer. We split the bill and it came to $24.55 each before gratuity.

Unbelievable is my first thought! Came in at 5:30 in the afternoon before the dinner rush was seated by Amanda and told about their happy hour half priced drinks, we ordered some drinks ordered our food everything was good but then on the check one of our drink orders was at regular price $10.75 each , when I asked if it was part of the happy hour she said yes and I said but then that would make this a $15 plus Long Island iced tea and she shook her head yes she said they took a few dollars off , but the happy hour as we know is half-price drinks and if it's part of the happy hour and it's what she agreed $15 (lie) that means it will be 750. So I found out that the actual price of it of the Long Island Ice-T is 1075 and she charged us twice and did not give us a happy hour discount and then lied to trying cover herself instead of simply saying oh my mistake and taking it off the bill so she basically deceived us lied to us to our face stating that the Long Island Ice-T was $15 or more vaguely So I wonder if Amanda likes being lied to or deceived or given vague answers to direct questions what crap!!! And by the way if you been to this place before and you receive table bread we did not, and when we asked for it we were told that " were only supposed to give it if we are asked" That's the cheesiest answer I've heard in my life and if the corporate structure has changed in which I'm sure it has you don't say it like that you just simply say yes coming right up Unbelievable devalued my experience and my perception of this restaurant will not be coming back!

I cannot believe I haven't done a review on Carrabba's yet. I am a HUGE Italian food lover and after trying so many restaurants I have to say Carrabba's has my vote in the best chicken and pasta dish. The Chicken Bryan is the BEST plate in the world!... Well in my world that is :-) The plate consist of chicken breast grilled to perfection with sundried tomatoes, basil, housemade lemon butter sauce and a slice of goat cheese! Yumm! For those who have never had goat cheese don't be scared. I was hesitant at first but after having a bite I was HOOKED! The dish come with your choice of side or pasta. I ALWAYS have it with pasta and their famous tag pic pac pasta which has delicious crushed tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and basil. If chicken is not your thing or if you are in the mood for meat. They have a delicious Sirloin which they cook to perfection, it is my husband's favorite dish. Its Sirloin Marsala Wood-grilled and topped with mushrooms, proscuitto and Marsala sauce. Comes with a side which I highly recommend their homemade mashed potatoes. If you can't decided between both dishes they have one called The Johnny which brings a half portion of each :) As for the service, we have had both good and not so good service, lately when we go we specifically request Anthony B. he is always polite and willing to provide excellent service and recommendations. Not one thing he has recommended we have not liked. He always makes sure to tell us the specials and promotions that are going on, like $10 off a bottle of wine that they had last week :) One thing I would suggest is for Carrabba's to reconsider their dessert menu, unfortunately this is one of this things that prevents us from going more often as we always look forward to a perfect dessert at the end of our meal and the choices are limited and not so great at Carrabba's. A suggestion would be to add some types of cheesecakes or pies or nutella crepes? But do it quick :)

For a national chain Carrabba's s'aright. The diverse "Italian" menu will please most picky eaters. We went here because Auntie sent us a $20 off promo card (when you buy a ton of gift cards during the holidays). Their pizza $13.00 is always acceptable. The pizza crust being crisper & better than expected. Not amazing, but not bad either. I thought I was being healthy ordering the wood grilled 6 oz salmon, but it was crazy salty. My side of cavatappi (twirly elbow macaroni) was already salty so the whole meal was overwhelming. I could only eat half at the restaurant for lunch and saved the other half to eat it with plain veggies at home the next day. $10 Calamari is well fried (way better than nearby RokBrgr's) and comes with lemon wedges and marinara sauce. Nothing special, but not bad either. It's becoming a theme here. $13.50 shrimp risotto does not come with any sides. I should have read the menu more closely because I didn't realize it would be tomato-y. I'd rather have the traditional cream risotto. It tasted like overcooked Uncle Ben's rice with salty marinara. $2.80 soda in case you're wondering.

I know a lot of people love Carrabba's but I've never been to crazy about it!! I have tried different meals and none of them really blew me away I felt like I could of cooked them at home.

Seems the Chef didn't feel like doing his or her job. The two kids Pizzas where not cut so m I had to do it. In the process my white RL shirt got stained red with sauce. Long story short lunch was twice the money because my shirt is ruined.

I've always loved Carrabba's, but for some reason, I didn't feel very welcomed. The hostess was "meh". I guess she had a long day. Sure our server was nice, but she seemed to rush us a little. I noticed this after she tugged the menu from my hand. Not only that, she didn't leave us with bread to start us with and said she forgot because our food was already coming out. My date mentioned this when we were well into finishing our meals as he looked around and saw everyone's tables with bread. I decided to ask her as we were leaving. The food was delicious, Carrabba's never disappoints. The Chicken Soup is always pleasant. The Chicken Bryan was juicy and freshly grilled. I am not a fan of caprino cheese because of it's tangi-ness, but it sure complimented the Bryan so well. I asked if I could have the amatriciana with Alfredo and no pork and it was delicious. I will try other alternatives with that next time. Overall, everything was very appetizing and I liked my visit, but I felt more welcomed at the Carrabba's near Palm Springs North.

Now a traditional Italian place, but from the italian restaurant chains in Miami I think this carrabbas is the best, great service from the waiters and staff

I went to this location for mothers day and was extremely disappointed. The food was beyond sub par. The only saving grace for my visit was the blackberry sangrias which were excellent

One of my favorite restaurants! The prices are decent, especially for the lunch menu, but the food is amazing! Literally, when we cannot decide where to go- this is our go to place.

I came here recently with some co-workers for dinner as my co-worker kept bragging about how good their sirloin steak is. I must admit, that the sirloin was wonderful. Here's my entire experience and why only 3-stars rating. First, we were greeted by a friendly hostess that promptly took us to our table. Our waiter followed behind soon after and he was also great throughout the night. Our drink orders were place promptly and received shortly after placing them. Most of everyone on the table ordered the Sangria which we all agreed that was pretty good. We were looking at the menu and saw that they have a 3-course meal menu with different choices. I noticed that the sirloin was in there. I asked the waiter what size sirloin that was since they sell a 6oz and a 9oz. The one on the special was a 6oz but for $3 more they were able to substitute it for the 9oz. I ordered for appetizer a meatball and cheese flatbread. This was a good size appetizer and it was pretty delicious. I also ordered a lentil soup which I had in the past from them and remember it to be delicious. The soup came and it did not disappoint as it was as amazing as ever. The soup has lentil but also spicy italian sausage which taste amazing together. My sirloin came with garlic mashed potatoes. The sirloin was cooked exactly how I asked for. The meat's consistency was just like I like it and packed with flavor. It is topped with a mushroom marsala wine sauce which goes very well with the steak. I could just order just this for dinner as it was just completely delicious. Now, why the 3-star rating?... The steak came with garlic mashed potatoes that were really cold. Now, everyone at our table had ordered the same thing and their mash potatoes were also cold. We told our waiter and he apologized and told us he will order more mashed potatoes for our table. I kept eating my steak and it took maybe about 5 to 7 minutes for new mash potatoes to arrive. He apologized again as he handed out the plates. Well, when we tried our new mashed potatoes, they were completely cold again! It seems that the kitchen didn't bother checking the temperature and they don't care about serving under temperature food. At this point we didn't even bother to send them back as we were almost done with our steaks. Will I go back again? Absolutely! The food was amazing (except for the cold potatoes). I just know next time just to pay attention to the temperature of the food right away.

Okay, Carrabas had a great happy hour menu. I have been here many times for dinner but never happy hour. Today, I was able to sit at the bar and really get acquainted with the appetizer menu. The deal: half prize appetizers and half prized select drinks. I ordered mussels, gnocchi fritti and calamari. I must say the mussels were my favorite, they are cooked in lemon butter sauce. I also dived into the deal for the middle size carafe of wine. It's a decent size, gets you about a glass and a half or two. For two people the bill came out to about $27 with two cocktails, the carafe and three appetizers. I definitely recommend the mussels! Do it!

I wasn't always so fervently anti-chain. There was a time, many years ago, when I considered a dinner at the Cheesecake Factory to be a "nice meal," and a night out at Houston's to be the penultimate gustatory experience. While I've long moved on, there are still items on both menus to which I won't say no. So, when the chance to try Carrabba's arose, I wasn't exactly excited, but I did hold out some hope that I'd find some halfway decent things to eat. Inside, it's a nice-looking restaurant, and it smells appealing. The menu is extensive, if a little underwhelming in terms of creativity...which is OK if the execution and quality is strong. If, being the operative word. I started with the arancini, as these little light-fried risotto nuggets have become favorites of mine to the point where I have to order them wherever I see them. These are apparently a new menu item at Carrabba's. The consistency of the outer coating was a strong point - crispy but not greasy. Inside, though, I tasted generic frozen food....edible, a little over-salted, about on par with the frozen arancini sold by Trader Joe's. For my entree, I tried the four-cheese pizza. It sounded decent...thin crust, brick oven, etc, etc. I do enjoy a good thin-crust pizza. But again, just "edible" in the generic sense of the term. Again, I wouldn't say that this pizza was any better than most frozen pies. The crust was a bit too soft, and the cheese didn't seem to have much taste. I think comparing this to frozen pizza may be an insult to frozen pizza, as I'd take the frozen pizza from Whole Foods over this all day long. Finally, in this epic journey through the land of generic corporate cuisine, I tried the panna cotta. I don't know what I was thinking. I should have just ordered the vanilla ice cream with candied pecans and caramel. This panna cotta came in a jar, and was not truly a panna cotta at all, as it had a runny consistency more akin to pudding. On top, there were not just simple raspberries, which I would have preferred, but raspberries in some crummy raspberry syrup. The whole thing tasted OK, but was off-putting......someone in the kitchen (or, more probable, the corporate office) has no clue what a panna cotta should be. Well, I gave it a fair try....but that's about all the Carrabba's I need in my life for many years to come.

I just went for the first time. I hate to admit it, but I had been avoiding it because I figured that it was a chain so it would suck. I guess I need to work on being more open minded. We went at 3pm, so we avoided the rush & got seated right away. Service=great, knowledgeable & polite waiter, received everything in a reasonable amount of time Food=1. Bread was served warm with an herbed olive oil (yummy) 2. Chicken Bryan & Chicken Rosa Maria were both delicious & had very flavorful sauces 3. Italian green beans were surprisingly good (flavor & amount of crunch) *I really like that they offer the option of a "small" (normal) size portion.* *I don't know why reviewers think it's salty because I don't cook with salt at home (so I'm sensitive to salt), and I didn't find it overly salty. Maybe they corrected the problem? I only mention it because those reviews had turned me off to trying it since I hate salty food!

While the food and service were great until we ordered dessert, our Panna cotta came with lots of glass inside. We found out by my wife biting into a piece and almost breaking a tooth. We received no discount from our check and the food ended up digesting badly due to the scare. Also they charged my credit card twice for the same meal and when I called to ask then to reverse one of the charges they told me to follow a dispute with my bank. That it would be easier for them if I contacted my bank to dispute the incorrect charge. Bottom line: terrible!!!

Food was very good. Only qualm I had was the tiny portions. My adolescent niece who dined with us had to have seconds because her pizza was tiny. Better than most Italian chain restaurants. Good location -- close enough to the action on South Beach if that's what you like, but far away enough from it if it's not your cup of tea. Service was excellent. Very cordial hosts. We had a large party and were sat within 15 minutes during a busy Saturday night. Our server/waiter Diaz was attentive and brisk throughout the evening.

So I've said before, don't normally like large chain food restaurants but we came here with a $75 gift card that was given to us for the holidays. I'll start by saying we got here during happy hour so that was an automatic star. My husband quenched his thirst with bottomless Sam Adams, while I refreshed my body with never ending Pinot Grigio. For starters we had the Zucchini Frittate which was delish, my kids who are super picky eaters loved them served with a side of garlic aioli. Service was on point, I had the chicken Bryan that was amazing the goat cheese melted perfectly on top of the chicken with a hidden piece of sundried tomato really gave it a kick. For the kids I actually ordered the Italian Trio from the adults menu, and it was a perfect portion for them to share. What a bang for my buck. All in all it was a great experience, good food, good service, the gift card did not disappoint!

Horrible experience, I usually come to this place one a week but this experience was the worst one.the fppd was horrible, to begin the bread was almost not xooked , it was really cold.I requested to have it toasted but it was the same thing.the four chesse ravioli which its my husband's favorite tastes horrible, it was hard and chewy not good at all.we asked for extra chicken and they gave me almost nothing.I dont rhink I will ever be back here

What a letdown. I didn't expect this place to be the authentic Italian experience. I expected it to be more like the Americanized "Macaroni Grill". This was less than the Macaroni Grill, however more expensive. For the same price, you can get a much better Italian meal at Perricone's on Brickell. Service is ok and the food is not bad, however it is definitely not worth the price. Don't waster your time here. P.S. The creme brulee had a layer of sugar so thick it wasn't even that easy to crack. What a letdown.

This review is thanks to the amazing service that my family and I received during our mothers day dinner as the food is just "ok" in my humble opinion. Typical chain style Italian food. Nothing to really write home about but it gets the job done. Our servers for the evening were Chris and Holly. We were a party of 18 so we had the two of them waiting on us. They did so flawlessly and always with a smile. They were extremely nice despite the fact that the restaurant was jammed packed and it was Mother's day. They accommodated all of our requests and didn't get a single thing wrong. They were quick to bring us our wine and came around quite often to pour it for us. It was just an all around great experience... My better half and I shared the breaded (but not fried) scallops and shrimp with a side of linguine with pomodoro sauce. It was pretty good and I was surprised. The chicken Flatbread was super salty and the wine was really quite good. Smooth.... Just how I like it! I would like to request that Carrabbas check their wine glasses when they come out of the dishwasher. Not once, but twice, our table received wine glasses that had dried food encrusted on the bottom. This is really unacceptable. Come on guys, clean it for the love of baby Jesus! You would have had a 5 star review were it not for the nasty wine glasses. So, if you eat here, ask for Holly or Chris. They make it worth it and they will clean your crusty wine glass :-)

The sirloin Marsala was delicious as always. Steak and mashed potatoes never tasted this good. Also has some mushrooms. Service was okay, not as great as other chain restaurants but it wasn't bad. Parking was confusing unless your from around the area. Use pay to park app and there's a code on underneath your car on cement.

The food doesn't match the price. For how much it was, it sucked. The pasta was cold and the presentation was horrible as were the portions of each plate. The pizza was super small and it wasn't all that good. The tiramisu was alright but it had more whip cream than anything else. And the service was THE worst. The waitress couldn't remember our orders and forgot someone's order. The table was dirty and she was rude. Not coming back - would of been better off at Olive Garden. Need to definitely improve their front of the house service.

Is it a chain? Yeah, but who cares. The food here is delicious and this place definitely satisfies. I have reviewed over 700 places in Miami, mainly restaurants and I have to say that Carrabas is probably the best value in town for Italian food. Service is great. Portions are big. Prices are excellent. The place/decor could use an update, but that's the only complaint. 5 stars well-deserved.

Arrived for a late lunch with family last Saturday, nearly empty when we got there but they trickled in while we were enjoying our stay. We were led to our table as soon as we walked in and everyone got a menu. A tray with bread plus small side dish with olive oil promptly appeared. What would you like to drink? Do you need more time? Yes. He was back again in two minutes to take our order. I decided on pork tenderloin with mashed potato. Ordered Coca-Cola while others ordered wine and sangria. Instead of re-filling my glass, he brings a new glass and takes away the half-use one, that's new to me. Our meal order arrives in less than ten minutes, although the place was nearly empty so that may be unusual. My nephew ordered Tiramisu for dessert ( am I spelling it right?) so I did the same. This is a rich ice cream cake with a wine taste and chocolate frosting, quite delicious. Highly recommended.

I'm not a big fan of chains but that Sunday I felt adventurous. I went with my best friend and we were seated right away. The waitress was not very friendly but it looked more like if she did a double shift and she was almost done. We had the fried Rissotto and it was the highlight of the night everything else was a mess. I had a chicken with garlic mashed potatoes that really was not worth the price it had on the menu, sure it was tasty, but it was about 2x3 inches of chicken and a finely measured 8/10 of a scoop. My friend had the pasty with meat sauces, and only one word comes to my to describe it: mushy. The check was 65$ with tip. I don't recommend it but if you are looking for an adventure, thenwhy not.

Awesome happy hour specials but there's a catch.. You have to sit in the bar area - not in a booth... It must be at the bar or on one of the three small high tables they have. I went with my parents who are older and we had to sit in a small, uncomfortable table to get the happy hr deals. Pretty ridiculous. Food was super greasy - and Fridays/chilis quality. Yucko

I come here for lunch with co-workers and I've been here enough that I can almost use the phrase "more than a few times", and nearly every time, it's been a disappointment. Let's start with the fact that when you walk in, a sort of damp towel smell permeates the air. I can't explain it and I thought maybe it would go away after the first time I went, but no dice. It just smells like a moldy, wet towel in there. The food is absolutely nothing to write home about, and almost pathetic for an Italian restaurant. The bread is bland. The fried zucchini appetiser is okay, but can often arrive soggy and not worth eating. The pasta arrives without much fanfare. Minimally tasty and served in not-huge portions with no sides. I've had ravioli, four cheese pasta, and lasagna here, and they've all been some of the most disappointing versions of those dishes I've ever had. I can't really compare it to other Italian places because it wouldn't be fair. I'm not used to going to places this bad. The best advice I can give is that if distance and driving is no issue, skip Carrabba's and go to Cheesecake Factory. For a few dollars more, you can have exponentially better Italian food from a chain restaurant that won't leave you regretting having walked in through the door in the first place.

Chain restaurants are for the sad culinary unliberated people of the world. At least that's how I usually feel, with the exception of my beloved Outback & Bonefish. So you can imagine my horror when my bf insisted on eating here yesterday. Really? I kept asking, right until the time we parked the car. I can happily report that my snobbish preconceptions were completely blown to shreds. First thing's first: Happy hour Noon to 7!!!! That deserves 5 gold stars! Bread - hot a delish, served with evoo & herbs - yummm Zucchini fries - as good as they sound & accompanied by a garlic aioli Chicken Bryan - chicken in lemon butter sauce, w sun dried tomatoes & goat cheese...whats not to love?? For a chain this place was fabulous, my waiter was terrific and the quality of the food super-ceded my expectations. Carraba's you have joined the ranks of my chain Elites! :)

My husband and I had our sons baptism lunch here. I had a pretty hard time finding a place to have lunch after our sons baptism and settled for Carrabbas. I had been to Carrabas for the first time years ago and thought it was okay. This time around I thought it was really good. Prices are reasonable and service was outstanding. I was pretty shocked how well everything went. I will be visiting Carrabas in the near future.

We were actually originally going to Rok Burger, but the place was packed so we settled for Carrabba's. Last time I visited this Carrabba's about a year ago we vowed never to return, but we were starving and we found a good parking spot so we put our name on the list. I'll start by saying we had two servers as one was in training. Both we equally attentive and made great recommendations as there are new items on the menu. I had the conchiglie al formaggi which was delicious. We also had the the fried gnocchi, which was an interesting concept and very tasty. The wood grilled chicken was tender, juicy and very flavorful. For dessert we had the Apple Crostata and it was Heavenly, I hope they keep this item on the menu. This chain restaurant is worth a try as they have improved quite a bit.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

For being busy is was a good experience. The food was excellent, i have the Sirloin Marsala, to die for!!! And good desserts.

Amore Mondays with a reduced price menu is great for those weekday Italian dinner cravings!
(4)Alexander D.

When to the Miami location , it was okay it didn't do much for me . Maybe it was a bad day for the chef when I went but I've had better Italian food . But my partner did like it so it balances out I guess .

Have had mixed reviews in the past here but tonight has made up for it. We had a large hungry group of 14. Our servers Sly and Christy were fantastic and the food was fresh and tasty. I ate too much and I'm not mad at it.

CARRABBA'S is getting so popular these days because their building more locations of them. They're building one on Flagler and 92nd Ave.I love CARRABBA'S their Salmon and pizza are absolutely great.Nothing like quality of food, good people and discriminating taste

Food and service is good. I ate the lobster ravioli (recommend ***) the bread was good. I would definitely come back
(4)Mia D.

(2)Sam S.
Great food, great service, great ambience but too much salt on everything. May be it was too busy. Clean tables and clean open kitchen.
(4)Jackie S.

(4)Michael O.
The mussels here are off the chain ! Ask for a side of pasta and a good side salad and your good to go. Besides that I've enjoyed a chicken France which was pretty good .
(3)Noe N.
