I go to eat dim sum if not every week atleast 3 times a month. And this place never disappoints. Today we had sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves which wasn't my favorite but its was still interesting and delicious. Seafood pan fried noodles is so much fun to eat my only complaint is that it comes with fake crab (not a fan of at all) and the scallops tasted fake too but its was still amazing. We ordered our usual dim sum items for I finally decided to try the stuffed bean curd with oyster sauce I can't even describe how good it was. It is tofu sheets stuffed with pork, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. If you are adventurous have them bring it out to you immediately! It was 7 of us and i didn't even list a third of all the regular items of dim sum that were ordered and I went with 6 full grown hungry men and the bill was $75 so this place is delicious and doesn't burn a hole through your pocket.

We've been going to this restaurant for a few years. In the past, the place looked old and outdated, but a few years ago, it was revamped. When you go in and you see that you're the only non-Chinese and the menu in the blackboard is written in Chinese...you get the feeling that this has to be a good place. The food is authentic Chinese, with the all-favorite chinese-american dishes. Try the Yeung Chow Fried Rice; it is a fried rice with pork, chicken and shrimps (big and fresh), but it has only a little bit of soy sauce. Also, the sweet and sour shrimp or chicken; the batter is so light and crunchy, it will melt in your mouth. They don't have anything ready, they prepare everything on the spot. I know that because one day last minute I decided to have more fried rice and they apologized and said I had to wait until it was prepared. We drive like 10 miles to get to this place...but it is worth it!!

You have to ASK for the dim sum menu. Seriously? We will be going back--and I imagine this place will get a better rating. But my husband and I (new to the area) scoured Doral to scratch a dim sum itch. Only after ordering did we see others hefting a massive dim sum menu that we weren't even offered. That being said, the food we did have was scrumptious, portions intangibly large (6 egg fu yung patties?!?) and service was good.

I was just so happy to find a chinese restaurant here in Miami that serves dim sum all day that I didn't even expect much from my order. However, I was pleasantly surprised that although it is in a predominantly hispanic area the food is very delicious! I now come very often. The portions and prices are very fair. I prefer Canton Palace to all the other chinese restaurants I've tried in Miami. The down side is that sometimes the plates and glasses can be a little dirty and service can be slow. I am from Thailand and am not squeamish about stuff like that so that never stopped me from coming by every now and then to fill my belly with yummy dim sum.

Unassuming restaurant, savory and authentic chinese food. The fried won-tons a dissapointment. They were only the dough no filling. Young-Chow fried rice & chicken & snow peas very good.

My favorite dim sum place in all of Miami and NC triangle area - I've tried a bunch of other more highly recommended places in Miami (including Tropical and South Garden) and in the triangle area, but I still keep coming back to this place time and time again. Service is pretty on par with an Asian restaurant and interior of the restaurant leaves something to be desired, but the food here is delicious! I've probably had dim sum more than 10+ times here and I still love it every time. Their portions are huge, flavors are right, the selection is great, and prices are good as well. My to-go choices are Shrimp and Eggplant, Shrimp Dumplings, Chicken Feet, and BBQ Pork Buns. The Seafood Noodles and Duck are great as well.

believe it or not, i had never sat down to eat in the place that holds the BEST fried rice my buds have come across. so yesterday, we were in the mood for chinese...and we ventured! the crunchy, complimentary noodles were a plus! i had the shrimp lo mein and it was yummy- not the best i've had, but yummy enough. fred g. had the honey garlic chicken which was great. and of course, we had the special fried rice which was divine! this place is lucky their food is good because the service sucked. our waitress was rude and had absolutely no facial expressions- none. one thing i will say, their portions are huge!!! talk about bang for your buck! had we known how much food was served, we would have ordered one meal and shared.

Best Dim Sum in Miami. Loved the wonton soup.

I am not Chinese but I am Asian and by God, I love this place!! The foods are amazing. If you know what to order, you will go home with a smile, every time. My favorite food is Salt and Pepper Pork Chop. Try it. You will not regret it. And given the portion, it is well worth it. For $10 often splits with other people, family style, it is well worth it. Ask any Chinese person and they would say South Garden is better but I disagree. I like this place a lot more.

5 stars each and every time! Decor is typical for a family owned Chinese restaurant; green carpet, pink walls, wooden swinging doors. Staff is okay... It really depends. I've had experiences with GREAT customer service where my waiter(ess) provided us with their undivided attention, but I've also had SO/SO customer service where the waiter(ess) didn't pay us much attention and we were kind of left to fend for ourselves. This place is SMALL and gets exceptionally packed in the evening and weekends. Stick it out, promise it's worth the wait! (They also deliver) You will notice a lot of native Chinese dining here and they also have a dry erase board posted with authentic mandarin dishes made fresh. Wow, almost forgot --- DIMSUM! (All day) Not as good as south garden on sunset and 107, but it's still delicious. Some must try dishes: Pork chops in Peking sauce. Chinese broccoli Honey garlic fried wings Cashew chicken Pork fried rice Pupu platter

Five stars for being an authentic Chinese resturant in the Miami area. I would say the food is about the same a many middle road Cantonese places in the San Francisco bay area. Its great to be asked what type of tea you want and for them to have a real selection of good teas that are authenticly good tasting. Service is good as well. Cantonese speaking staff reminds me more of West Coast populated Asian areas as well for nostalgia factor. This is my new goto for Asian food in the area.

One of my favorite Chinese places that offer authentic dishes. They also have dim sum for lunch and is definitely worth seeking out. Everything that's made has a really great taste. The space is a little small so on busy nights be prepared to wait. Call in advance if you have a large party.

Food was ok, nothing special about it. I didn't have to dim sum as it was really late but the issue I had was the unusual and the resturant just wasn't clean. Where I sat the carpet was torn to shreds literally.

Canton Palace is a simple Chinese restaurant, tucked into a strip mall, with fresh and excellent food, cooked skillfully. I order the fantastic General Tso's chicken every time I come. I've been tempted by the Cantonese dishes, which look excellent, but I love the General Tso's chicken here so much (and come too infrequently) that I never really branch out. The sauce is light, spicy, and sweet. The chicken is perfectly fried, with the right balance between meat (all good, white meat) and fried exterior. The vegetables in the dish are also fresh and just delightful. The portion is huge and definitely enough to share, and the dish is inexpensive. On our most recent visit, we also had roast pork buns. These were good, but not outstanding. I did like that they also had vegetables in the pork stuffing. Pork dumplings were very good, though not as good as when we'd ordered them in the past. They used to have a bit of sweetness to them, which I liked. Perhaps they're preparing them differently now? Dim sum is available routinely (I think all the time?) though not served from carts. Ask for the paper dim sum menu/checklist if you need it. I have never been disappointed here.

The reviews don't lie. Hidden little place with great food. They even have a separate authentic Cantonese menu. I had the Hot and Sour soup and the dim sum platter (make sure if you are alone you gave plans to take the extra home! It's a lot of food!!) My main waitress was great but the other had one of those "perma sour" faces. Just shook it off and enjoyed the yummies.

Just a yummy average place to eat authentic Cantonese Chinese food. Keep in,ind this review is for the authentic Canonese Dishes ant not for DimSum or American Chinese food(honey chicken, fried rice and egg Drop soup.) No with that said we had a another great meal here. We ordered and started with a Fish Maw Seafood soup. A mixture of fish maw and mixed seafood in an egg drop like soup. Which you normally add white pepper and/or a touch of red vinegar to taste. We had the seriously huge hand made pot stickers. A pot sticker full of pork and light ginger juicy goodness and pan fried to a light brown and served with vinegar garlicky soy dip. Well it was my cousins 1st birthday so we had a little party and ordered so much. I have to say all the found this night was all extra yummy. We had a so many dishes that they had to wait for us to finish eating some plates before bringing more or add a metal stand to put dishes on. Peking Pork Chops, a tangy dish of hoisin touched pork chops(not the shoe lean type) set around a crown of broccoli. Shrimp in a a White sauce, a creamy sweet and tangy concoction that marriages a little expats meets west dish. Big shrimps fried in a light batter encompassed in a sauce with candied walnuts strewn around the dish, and surrounded by broccoli. Green beans cooked with minced pork(we usually order the beef, since my mom does not eat beef) a flash fried green bean dish stir fried with minced pork, garlic and a light brown sauce. Steamed ribs Chinese style with flash fried Taro. A little fatty but oh so good. Chinese dried fish and chicken fried rice, a dish of salty minced dried fish mixed with chicken pieces fried rice. Oh so good. Fried Chicken with pan roasted slivered garlic served a savory sauce. One of the do not miss dishes here. Salt and Pepper squid, a lightly battered squid mixed in with salt and pepper. A nice light dish they can also be changed to shrimp or pork chops. Snow pea tips cooked garlic, stir fried to perfection. So good that can remind people of spinach but with texture. Lay Siu Peng Oin, a savory steamed egg(more jiggly quiche) fish mixed in with shrimp and other yummies. This a bit of an acquired taste, but yummy. Fried fish fillet stir fried with mixed veggies. Orange peel beef which was delicious. All was good, I think if I can choose something to leave off next time it would be the fish.

I come from LA, where "good Chinese food" is a standard. But for Miami standards, this Cantonese restaurant was not bad at all. More of a 3.5 but since it's Miami, I rounded up. Typical Chinese dishes with standard LA level Chinese food...which automatically makes it heavenly in Miami. I can't say it has the best ambience and service, but I wouldn't typically expect that from busy Chinese restaurants. The fish was amazing..even for LA standards. Definitely, a restaurant to revisit. Will come back again.

Great food and excellent service. Our server was funny and entertaining. The food our group ordered was delicious. I ordered pan fried dumplings as an appetizer and they were huge. I ate four and I was almost full but you do get a plate of six. If you like dumplings then you will enjoy these dumplings as I did. At this time they were $6.99. On top of that I ordered a plate of Egg Foo Young and I received 3 huge portions. I could only eat 2 of them and had to take the last one home. That order was $8.99 and you can add chicken or pork to the Egg Foo Young. We were a group of 9 people but we arrived around 5:30 pm so we had an early dinner time. When we left the restaurant it was almost full around 7 pm. We went on Sunday so it was packed during the later hours. It is a small restaurant and there is some construction going on in this shopping center so parking might be a problem. My group enjoyed the items that they ordered and the food that we received was excellent. I forgot to take pictures but take some time and go through the pictures that other users have added.

I've had take out food from this place twice and it's been good, the portions are generous and the prices are good.

It was good, the special fried rice was great and the dim sum well very good. The only down side was the "dough" they use for the shrimp dumpling was too doughy. Prices are great. The hubby and I shared 2 orders of shu mai (pork and shrimp dumpling) our favorite, 1 order of ha gao (shrimp dumpling) and 1 small special fried rice! A soda and the total bill was $21.45!! And we are stuffed!! The amount of "filling" they use on their dumplings are very generous. It was a good lunch, we will be back soon!!

Food was amazing. Really good, came out of the kitchen fairly quickly for a table of 9, and the best part was the huge lazy Susan in the middle of the table, which made sharing meals that much easier. The only down side was the bathroom... could definitely use a thorough cleaning. Overall, very impressed with the food, the portions are huge and they certainly didn't skimp on the meats in the meals. Dim sum was also really yummy! Two thumbs up!

I love this place. The chicken fried rice is delicious and their honey chicken is crispy and tastes so good. My husband and i always get that combination.

It's real Chinese not American Chinese which is kinda relief. It's got good variety on the menu and it's apparent it's southern style Chinese given the dim sum offerings. I'll probably end up making more check ins at this place going along but for now quality seems kinda average.

Ordered some take out food and got a huge screw in the special fried rice. Called to let them know and they gave me the runaround, including hanging up on me. This is beyond inexcusable. My niece almost choked on this. I will try to in life the picture of the screw.

I do love this restaurant great food at affordable prices, good quality, love dim sum, chicken and cashews, udon noodles, great place I do keep coming back
If you like Chinese food, I HIGHLY recommend you go here. No idea what happened with this other guy who left a review, but the food is amazing and a great value. Ambiance is lacking, but forgiveable once you taste the food.

Four of us were here for dinner. The food was exceptional. We had some dietary issues which were handled without a problem. I have been eating here for about 20 years and the food is always great. One of my favorite dishes is the shrimp wonton soup. I have ordered this in other Chinese restaurants and this preparation is by far he best. I recommend the fried chicken with garlic slivers. Very juicy very tasty.

My husband and I tried this restaurant last night. The service staff was kind and helpful though the food left much to be desired. The roasted duck was really greasy and salty. The chicken and broccoli combo platter was OK, but not good. We both left hungry and felt sick to our stomachs later in the evening.

I am told this is one of the better tasting dim sum in Miami for a city with little to none Asian population... =____= I am spoiled by the dim sum quality in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and my hometown CA. Which brings me to the conclusion that this place is either Americanize or not even close to authentic.. The food here is very salty and mushy... You can taste the MSG and nothing tasted fresh though it took forever to come out... Basically the food is not worth mentioning.. overall 1 star for effort i guess.

We came here while in the area, expecting to find just a normal "Americanized" Chinese restaurant. Walking through the door - we immediately knew we had found something special. The restaurant was packed with Asian patrons - all sharing dim sum and lunch entrees on the big round tables that we usually only see in Tropical Chinese. We asked to see the dim sum and regular menu, and decided to order a special fried rice accompanied by a few dim sum items and two cups of soup. Everything (including the dim sum) appeared to have been freshly made. The egg drop soup was very good, slightly better than the average Chinese restaurant (although I think that may be something Americanized anyway). But the highlight of the meal was definitely the special fried rice - not too greasy, just the right amount of flavour and didn't require even a touch of extra soy sauce. Plus, the portion (a small for $4.95) was enough to fully feed at least two people. The dim sum plates were also extremely good - and the portion sizes dramatically larger than that of Tropical. The service was friendly, but a little slow. We had to flag down people every now and then for more water, extra napkins, etc. But for the price (less than $20 for two) this restaurant is amazing, and we will definitely return in the future.

Best Chinese Restaurant In Miami. Food Is Authentic and rather cheap. Every time i want some good chinese, i go here. Tasty and with lots of variety.

Dim sum is great here. I prefer it over the other "cart style" places because I know that when I order it it's coming hot out of the kitchen. Like another reviewer's experience, I too think that sometimes the dishes can be a hit or miss. This place fills up very quickly so go early and before the church crowds come in.
(4)

Best dim sum in Miami. No carts here it's all cooked to order so your food is hotter and fresher than south garden or tropical chinese. Lo Siu ping on is my favorite dish along with the fried shrimp balls. Beef chow fun is also good here as well as their bitter melon stuffed with pork, if your a fan of the acquired taste of bitter melon. I eat here at least once a month and on rare occasion they can drop the ball a bit. Decor is non existent and service is usually good.

Dim Sum time: I recommended Roast Duck with Preserved Green Noodle Soup. I can't find this soup anywhere else in S. FL. Dinner time: Cantonese Port Chops, Salt and Peppers Shrimps and Salt and Peppers Tofu... They make really good salt and peppers dishes. Price is very reasonable. The only thing is they have about 3 big tables. So get there early if you do have a big party.

Great authentic Chinese, we got there at 2 on a Sunday and it was medium full, and by the time our large party finished eating the place was packed full of Chinese people. That's a good sign of authenticity to me, a restaurant full of people matching the ethnicty of the food in the middle of the day. Good tea. Service was good considering we had 17 people and half were kids.

The very best Din Sum, served all day!!! Food here is excellent and the service is outstanding. Try the radish pot with flank steak or the salt and pepper pork chops, delish!!!

We walked out. Something we've never done. I would rate this place a 0 if I could. And I have no idea how good the food is - we never got to it because of horrible service. Because my wife is a vegetarian, we ordered a special dish (noodles and a certain kind of Chinese vegetable) - something we always do in a Chinese restaurant. When the dish arrived, it was slathered in meat. We asked if the waitress could take this back and prepare it without meat. So far, so good. But then the manager came over and started arguing with my wife. She said that the waitress had told us the meal came with meat when we ordered. Huh? If she had said that, my wife would have immediately asked for it without meat. And it was a special order! Not something off the menu. She could still have salvaged the evening by apologizing and offering to make it right, but she kept arguing! At which point, we decided to leave. And we will not be back. There are other good Chinese restaurants nearby, where we can actually enjoy our meals.

Yum yum yum! It's an awesome place for some good dim sum. I have to say, they do OD on the flavoring. You'll drink more water than usual. The place is small. Sometimes you'll get the occasional Chinese tour groups that come in for lunch. It gets really loud. But other than that, it's a great place to stop and have sone munchies

My family has been ordering takeout from here for quite some time. The food is way better than the other chinese restaurants in the area. The waiters are extremely polite and attentive. I really love the spring rolls and egg rolls from here. The fried rice is the best!

I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food, but this place hits the mark and you're food is bound to be good every time. I've been here a few times and I'm finding myself becoming a regular. The atmosphere is relaxed and sometimes loud, but the energy is very positive. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but if you live in Miami you know that the decor of an eatery is not always an indication of how good the food will be. If you're a fan of real Chinese food (sorry PF Chang's lovers), then be sure to stop by.

So this place is one of my secret loves. I've been coming here since the old school days when the walls still had mirrors on them. It's gotten a facelift over the years, and the food has never disappointed. It's one of the few places in Miami where you can get authentic Chinese food (comparable to the China Towns of San Fran, LA, or NYC). The DimSum, Orange Beef, Mongolian Beef, or Honey Garlic Chicken are always a major win. The duck and fried rice can be a hit or miss. They always have some really cool house specials written in Chinese on the board, if you are feeling adventurous. The place can get quite busy especially during peak hours. The staff is usually sweet though their English can sometimes be on the dysfunctional side, that just adds to the authenticity of the place. PS: There's a neat little grocery store next door, with some really funky finds for those that can appreciate authentic Asian goodies you can't really get anywhere else around town ... ALSO expect English to be on the dysfunctional side. Always, WAY cooler than going to PF Changs or ordering Orange Chicken from Cheesecake Factory.

A small family owned restaurant but great food! GO!!!!!!!!! They have a regular menu but ask for the Dim Sum menu. There is SOOOOoo much more to choose from and it is all great. I've been coming here for years since my chinese friend brought me here for lunch. The Chrysanthemum tea is fresh and amazing. Great place to take the family and friends for lunch or dinner at a good price. It never bothered me but a note to the review reader...the 5th star drop is due to the mood of service. You'll KNOW when the server is having a bad day. BUT whether it is a bad day or not , they do serve your food quickly and efficiently. You might see them do some small food or napkin prepping in 1 or 2 tables next to you if you go earlier in the day.

Huge entree portions, reasonable prices, and tasty seafood and veggies guarantee many future visits to Canton Palace. Although my first visit was on Christmas Day and the place was busy, we were seated within a few minutes. We had delicious Chinese broccoli with garlic, pan fried pork dumplings, eggplant stuffed with shrimp, and pork buns. The turnip cake was OK, but the whole steamed ginger fish with scallions was divine. My mom and I were fighting over the leftovers. The restaurant is clean but by no means upscale, and the service was good. Most of the other patrons were Asian. Don't forget to request the dim sum menu, and check the specials on the whiteboard.

By far the best Dim Sum in town. Wonton soup is amazing, the steamed buns, and the egg custard tarts are the best we've ever had.

My favorite dim sum place, I prefer it over kon chau and tropical. That being said, the quality isn't always the same, if you're ordering dim sum, go early while everything is fresher. The baked pork buns, spring rolls, steamed shrimp dumplings and the steamed fish are amazing. The duck is great when it's fresh. The noodle dishes and soups are all pretty good too.

Canton Palace's dim sum are easily the most fantastic examples I've found of the fine art of Mandarin/Cantonese cooking anywhere in Miami. It's a good rule of thumb to judge a place by the type of people who hang out there. Are you at a German beer haus? Are you surrounded by large scary looking men in funny hats and lederhosen? That's a good sign. Are you at a Japanese Sushi bar full of bleach blond beach bums and stay at home moms? Not such a good sign. Canton falls into the former category. Each time I have been the lone non-Asian dinning at the place - a very good sign. For those who like dim sum you are most likely familiar with the little carts that are pushed around. You will not find these here. Instead the dim sum are ordered sushi style from a menu that you write down exactly what you want. This means dim sum are steamed/fried/baked what ever to order. They come out in the traditional steaming baskets and are brought in a non-stop stream to your table. Depending on what you are looking for you can get everything from shrimp, pork, tripe, beef, and everything in between. They are prepared in so many different ways its mind numbing. In addition to all the dim sum there are more traditional dishes as well. I am fond of the Singapore street noodles (not exactly traditional but mighty tasty). I know a lot of people rave about tropical dim sum here in Miami but Canton has my vote. 4 stars for a great experience. There isn't much support for those not steeped in the tradition of dim sum, so its kind of learn as you go. It's a bit out of the way but worth the trip. The food is top notch for what it is. This is a great place to take a date to see what she's really like, or to scare her away as you stuff baskets and baskets of steamed sticky pork buns in your mouth.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Miami. This is the real deal folks who are from Manhattan and looking for a real Chinese restaurant in Miami. Who knew it would be all the way out at the edge of Little Havanna? It's the real deal when the windows are covered with Chinese newspapers and more than half the patrons are Asian. The reason to go to the restaurant is for the dim sum selection. Special fried rice, shrimp balls, gow gee, shanghai steam buns, they got it. And it is good. And reasonably priced. Go for the shu mai, great stuff. Prices are reasonable, I would take it slow. It's easy to get carried away checking off a bunch of the dim sum menu items and then realizing you ordered too much.

I really liked this place. The people are really nice and the dim sum was GREAT! They have it available during all open hours, not just during some hours like some other restaurants have. The dim sum menu had a variety of foods and I loved everything I picked, it all tasted great to me. I loved it and I've taken my parents here and they've loved it as well. I haven't ordered anything off of the regular menu, I've always picked from the dim sum one.

Not worth the trip. First of all, the place has no ambiance. Very old tables & chairs. No table cloth. Then, the waitress comes over with an unhappy face like you have done her wrong in the past. She doesn't want to be there. She doesn't care if you come back or not. You want to ask yourself: " Why do i want to eat here???"

Food was good but it rates 2 stars because how expensive it is for average Chinese food. This is yet another OVERPRICED Miami Chinese food restaurant where mediocre tasting food is considered great by Miami locals. $10-$15 per entree for a plate of simple vegetables mixed with a little meat is RIDICULOUS. That same dish costs $4-7 in other cities but in Miami the locals get their wallets stolen because they just don't know any better. For the price Canton Palace charges, the food better taste damn good by use of excellent quality chicken / pork / beef (with no tendons, ligaments, skins) or use of authentic vegetables like ginko nut, dried seafood, lotus roots, seaweed, etc. etc. instead of the usual cabbage, bok choy or gai-lan stir fried in peanut oil. The menu has chop suey (huh, WTF?), pineapple chicken (ya gotta be kid'n!), broccoli beef (typical asian dish), and so on and so on. Not alot of imagination for a place that charges $10-$15 per entree. The restaurant would rate 3-4 stars if the cost of the dishes were cut by half - the price point for the quality and type of food they deliver. But if you think excellent Chinese food is fried rice, sweet and sour pork, beef chow mein, and maybe bok choy then this is a destination restaurant for you... pay their price, you'll love this place!

You know when they say "if you see other Chinese people eating at a Chinese restaurant, that means it's authentic and good." Well, I believe this saying and they are talking about this joint. The restaurant is not very fancy. But the food, especially the dim sum, are divine. The prices are just right for the portion of food. Some other dim sum places are cheaper because the dim sum are so tiny and vice versa. My family loves the fried shrimp balls, so crispy and delightful. The sesame balls are just right...I mean how can anyone mess this one up. We love everything that is stuffed with shrimp like the peppers, eggplant, the mushrooms. And did I mention their sticky-rice wrapped in lotus leaves??? DIVINE! It's like a meal in one. It has chinese sausage, chicken, pork and I think beef all tucked inside a bed of sticky rice.YUM!!!! The duck soup is my all time favorite. The staff are friendly enough that they will answer all your curious questions about the dim sum or any of the food...just be nice. I crate the food hear almost all the time. Thank goodness its from away from me. Enjoy!

fair number of asian patrons. menu has a decent cantonese section. funny to see spanish written in it also. additionally, there is a menu written only in chinese. you can order dim sum anytime (35 cents extra after 3 PM). so I had the steamed parsley dumpling, pan fried leek dumpling and pork and shrimp dumplings, which were ok. i didn't care for the fillet fish congee--fish was "fishy" tasting (not fresh)and it was filled with lettuce and no ginger. the sticky rice in lotus leaf was massive, but lacking some flavor b/c too much rice. the overall atmosphere is exactly like kon chau (dirty and old), but maybe i should try the dim sum during more regular hours.

In my opinion, their dim sums taste really good and traditional. Restaurant's servers are very nice.

Oh! C'mon! Give me a break! Sweet Ma-Po Tofu? That is way too South Americanized! Rediculous!

Dim sum is great here. I prefer it over the other "cart style" places because I know that when I order it it's coming hot out of the kitchen. Like another reviewer's experience, I too think that sometimes the dishes can be a hit or miss. This place fills up very quickly so go early and before the church crowds come in.

One of my favorite dishes is the shrimp wonton soup. I have ordered this in other Chinese restaurants and this preparation is by far he best. I recommend the fried chicken with garlic slivers. Very juicy very tasty.

This is probably the best chinese restaurant in Miami. Price wise and quality wise. The staff is really nice and the food is allwaaayysss good. I go on a regular basis and never have a complaint.

Too expensive. Food was good. Enough for 2 people but a Lil too expensive. Stereotypical Chinese food.

Great food. Good service. Only setback, they had no bitter melon

Enjoy!

(4)Sara D.
Unassuming restaurant, savory and authentic chinese food. The fried won-tons a dissapointment. They were only the dough no filling. Young-Chow fried rice & chicken & snow peas very good.
(3)Manuel P.
I've been going for the past few years. Not so good, not so bad. Good food, not to bad service.

(5)Tania G.
believe it or not, i had never sat down to eat in the place that holds the BEST fried rice my buds have come across. so yesterday, we were in the mood for chinese...and we ventured! the crunchy, complimentary noodles were a plus! i had the shrimp lo mein and it was yummy- not the best i've had, but yummy enough. fred g. had the honey garlic chicken which was great. and of course, we had the special fried rice which was divine! this place is lucky their food is good because the service sucked. our waitress was rude and had absolutely no facial expressions- none. one thing i will say, their portions are huge!!! talk about bang for your buck! had we known how much food was served, we would have ordered one meal and shared.
(4)Julio R.
Best Dim Sum in Miami. Loved the wonton soup.
(5)chayapol c.
(5)Tenielle M.
(5)Mickey L.
(5)Ivan H.
One of my favorite Chinese places that offer authentic dishes. They also have dim sum for lunch and is definitely worth seeking out. Everything that's made has a really great taste. The space is a little small so on busy nights be prepared to wait. Call in advance if you have a large party.
(5)Tawny W.
This place is authentic Chinese good . They have great dimsum and everything on the menu is good . Can't go wrong eating here .
(5)Luis C.
For Miami. Best authentic Cantonese style (any Chinese style) restaurant. Good food and affordable. Excellent dim sum.
(5)Adrian P.
Food was ok, nothing special about it. I didn't have to dim sum as it was really late but the issue I had was the unusual and the resturant just wasn't clean. Where I sat the carpet was torn to shreds literally.
(3)Hong W.
yes, been there 2 times, like it

(4)Dondee J.
(5)Michael W.

(4)Turly H.
In my opinion, their dim sums taste really good and traditional. Restaurant's servers are very nice.
(3)Joe F.

(4)Mena G.
(4)Jodie S.
(5)Ashley C.
I love this place. The chicken fried rice is delicious and their honey chicken is crispy and tastes so good. My husband and i always get that combination.
(4)Frank C.
It's real Chinese not American Chinese which is kinda relief. It's got good variety on the menu and it's apparent it's southern style Chinese given the dim sum offerings. I'll probably end up making more check ins at this place going along but for now quality seems kinda average.
(3)Mary e.
Ordered some take out food and got a huge screw in the special fried rice. Called to let them know and they gave me the runaround, including hanging up on me. This is beyond inexcusable. My niece almost choked on this. I will try to in life the picture of the screw.
(1)Gigi M.
Best place for authentic Cantonese food. Good prices. Ok service and ambience. Try their dim sum dishes which are tasty, affordable and very well done!
(4)Laura H.
I do love this restaurant great food at affordable prices, good quality, love dim sum, chicken and cashews, udon noodles, great place I do keep coming back
(5)Aries C.
Delicious, healthy Chinese food. I love their veggie dishes with black mushrooms and bok choy. Tender, real meat, not that chewy, stringy stuff they serve at some other Asian places. Good portions, reasonable prices. Food comes out quickly and served piping hot, so you know they don't leave it sitting around. Décor is very basic, its not a place to go for atmosphere. It's all about the food here but that's ok :)
(5)Heriberto C.
If you like Chinese food, I HIGHLY recommend you go here. No idea what happened with this other guy who left a review, but the food is amazing and a great value. Ambiance is lacking, but forgiveable once you taste the food.

My husband and I tried this restaurant last night. The service staff was kind and helpful though the food left much to be desired. The roasted duck was really greasy and salty. The chicken and broccoli combo platter was OK, but not good. We both left hungry and felt sick to our stomachs later in the evening.
(1)Nicole H.
Really quality food! Dim sum is FANTASTIC! When you have a hankering for some Chinese, this is the place!
(4)Julien A.
Seriously good and authentic chinese food! My wife and I live in the area and we go once every 2 weeks. Our favorites include Singapore noodles, garlic bak chow, and omelette with leak
(5)Tina V.
(1)Eileen P.
Delicious !! Great amount of food server great prices the employees were very nice overall I love this Chinese restaurant ons of my favorite
(4)Yani C.
This is our go-to spot for Chinese take out. The food has always been great! We haven't eaten inside yet but it's always filled with people, looking forward to one day trying their dim sum.
(5)Ashley M.
(4)Luis C.
Best Chinese Restaurant In Miami. Food Is Authentic and rather cheap. Every time i want some good chinese, i go here. Tasty and with lots of variety.
(5)Wai C.
Dim sum is great here. I prefer it over the other "cart style" places because I know that when I order it it's coming hot out of the kitchen. Like another reviewer's experience, I too think that sometimes the dishes can be a hit or miss. This place fills up very quickly so go early and before the church crowds come in.
(4)Shawn H.
(3)Mandy H.
(4)Wandering M.
(4)Dolores Orqui G.
The very best Din Sum, served all day!!! Food here is excellent and the service is outstanding. Try the radish pot with flank steak or the salt and pepper pork chops, delish!!!
(4)David H.
(1)Debbie C.
(4)Barby S.
My family has been ordering takeout from here for quite some time. The food is way better than the other chinese restaurants in the area. The waiters are extremely polite and attentive. I really love the spring rolls and egg rolls from here. The fried rice is the best!
(5)Lilyvania M.
(4)Albs R.
(5)Jessica G.
(4)Josie L.
(4)Daniel B.
By far the best Dim Sum in town. Wonton soup is amazing, the steamed buns, and the egg custard tarts are the best we've ever had.
(5)Claudia R.
(4)Max J.

Porridge not so good value. Chicken feet is good. Well manicured. Tripes is seasoned well. I prefer King Palace
(3)Jessica L.
My family has been going here for years. Great service and food. Food comes out very quickly, especially for big groups like my family (17 people).
(5)Ana L.
This place is awesome. You know its a great place when your surrounded by chinese patrons. Service is great!
(4)Lauren D.
My family has been coming here for about twenty something years, that speaks for itself about this restaurant. Food is always fresh and delicious, also service is so warm and friendly each and every time. My favorite is the fried rice with Shrimp & Walnuts ahhhhh so good!
(5)Jennifer F.
We order from here a lot. Great wings, fried rice and I love the Wonton Soup. The sizzling steak does not travel well.
(3)Miyamoto R.
(4)Kimmy P.
(4)Richard L.
(5)A.J. C.
This is probably the best chinese restaurant in Miami. Price wise and quality wise. The staff is really nice and the food is allwaaayysss good. I go on a regular basis and never have a complaint.
(5)chris h.
(1)Guy L.
Too expensive. Food was good. Enough for 2 people but a Lil too expensive. Stereotypical Chinese food.
(3)Big H.
Great food. Good service. Only setback, they had no bitter melon
(4)Thomas M.
Canton Palace has the best authentic Chinese food for the price in Miami hands down. Hidden behind Danny's in a common 8th street strip mall you find a small section with pitch black windows with a tacky neon sign "OPEN" behind it's doors you find an ordinary decor with cranked up A/C, friendly staff and yes a Chinese Restaurant. I always get the House Specialties you will not be disappointed. Be careful the portions are with interest, very large. General Tao, Mongolian, Roasted Duck, various Soups, dumplings, Sp. Fried Rice, Sautéed Shitake Mushrooms, Sautéed Bok Choy are very good as well. It's always busy so don't be disappointed if you have to wait or the food takes longer than usual. They do run out of the duck, so if you are a duck fan get there early in the week to ensure they have supplies.. You will find lots of Chinese ppl eating here, not sure if they are family as they all know each other but damm those ppl can order. The lazy susan can barely handle it LOL.
(5)Dawen H.
Oh! C'mon! Give me a break! Sweet Ma-Po Tofu? That is way too South Americanized! Rediculous!
(2)Rick R.
I had one of the lunch specials and it's typical Chinese American food. Not horrible but nothing great either.
(3)Michael C.

Enjoy!
(4)Rob C.
fair number of asian patrons. menu has a decent cantonese section. funny to see spanish written in it also. additionally, there is a menu written only in chinese. you can order dim sum anytime (35 cents extra after 3 PM). so I had the steamed parsley dumpling, pan fried leek dumpling and pork and shrimp dumplings, which were ok. i didn't care for the fillet fish congee--fish was "fishy" tasting (not fresh)and it was filled with lettuce and no ginger. the sticky rice in lotus leaf was massive, but lacking some flavor b/c too much rice. the overall atmosphere is exactly like kon chau (dirty and old), but maybe i should try the dim sum during more regular hours.
(3)Josie C.
(4)Turly H.
In my opinion, their dim sums taste really good and traditional. Restaurant's servers are very nice.

(5)Tenielle M.
(5)Mickey L.
(5)Ivan H.
One of my favorite Chinese places that offer authentic dishes. They also have dim sum for lunch and is definitely worth seeking out. Everything that's made has a really great taste. The space is a little small so on busy nights be prepared to wait. Call in advance if you have a large party.

This place is authentic Chinese good . They have great dimsum and everything on the menu is good . Can't go wrong eating here .

(4)Dondee J.
(5)Michael W.

(4)Mena G.
(4)Jodie S.
(1)Luis C.
(3)Hong W.
yes, been there 2 times, like it
(4)Gigi M.
(5)Richard L.
(5)Hana H.
(5)Tina V.
(1)Lacey C.
(3)champagne s.
(3)Barbara B.
(5)Tania G.
believe it or not, i had never sat down to eat in the place that holds the BEST fried rice my buds have come across. so yesterday, we were in the mood for chinese...and we ventured! the crunchy, complimentary noodles were a plus! i had the shrimp lo mein and it was yummy- not the best i've had, but yummy enough. fred g. had the honey garlic chicken which was great. and of course, we had the special fried rice which was divine! this place is lucky their food is good because the service sucked. our waitress was rude and had absolutely no facial expressions- none. one thing i will say, their portions are huge!!! talk about bang for your buck! had we known how much food was served, we would have ordered one meal and shared.
(4)Eileen P.

(5)Wai C.
Dim sum is great here. I prefer it over the other "cart style" places because I know that when I order it it's coming hot out of the kitchen. Like another reviewer's experience, I too think that sometimes the dishes can be a hit or miss. This place fills up very quickly so go early and before the church crowds come in.
(4)Shawn H.
(3)Mandy H.
(4)Wandering M.
(4)Dolores Orqui G.
The very best Din Sum, served all day!!! Food here is excellent and the service is outstanding. Try the radish pot with flank steak or the salt and pepper pork chops, delish!!!
(4)David H.
(1)Debbie C.
(4)Barby S.
My family has been ordering takeout from here for quite some time. The food is way better than the other chinese restaurants in the area. The waiters are extremely polite and attentive. I really love the spring rolls and egg rolls from here. The fried rice is the best!
(5)Albs R.

Porridge not so good value. Chicken feet is good. Well manicured. Tripes is seasoned well. I prefer King Palace

My family has been going here for years. Great service and food. Food comes out very quickly, especially for big groups like my family (17 people).

My family has been coming here for about twenty something years, that speaks for itself about this restaurant. Food is always fresh and delicious, also service is so warm and friendly each and every time. My favorite is the fried rice with Shrimp & Walnuts ahhhhh so good!

Best Dim Sum in Miami. Loved the wonton soup.

We order from here a lot. Great wings, fried rice and I love the Wonton Soup. The sizzling steak does not travel well.

This is probably the best chinese restaurant in Miami. Price wise and quality wise. The staff is really nice and the food is allwaaayysss good. I go on a regular basis and never have a complaint.

Too expensive. Food was good. Enough for 2 people but a Lil too expensive. Stereotypical Chinese food.

Great food. Good service. Only setback, they had no bitter melon

Enjoy!
