americanized chinese food aside, this place was a pleasant surprise... this review is based on the authentic chinese food served as birthday celebration for my good friend's father who used to own the establishment until he retired a few years ago... service was above average and the food was served fast after order was placed... the selection was definitely not as extensive as the other local competition as far as the authentic cuisine goes but as for the regular standard menu, there is a reason why they have been around for over twenty years! the decor is not upscale by any means but more on the typical chinese restaurant side with the standard booths and open tables and the standard chinese horoscope for placemats but nevermind the decor, if you come here it is definitely because of the food and the familial service... Be sure to say hello to Karen and address any issues and/or concerns you may have with you dining experience... She is the manager of the restaurant and would be more than happy to ensure that you are in good hands! you know what they say about a family owned restaurant... you cannot go wrong with that winning formula... if you haven't tried it out, go by and give it a shot... you won't be disappointed!

The best Chinese restaurant you can ever go to. This is the only Chinese restaurant then I will ever go to whenever enjoy as much as I do. If you're lucky you'll get karen as your waitress. (Karen) makes your experience at this restaurant 100 times better than any restaurant you ever go to. She remembers everything from your name down to exactly what you order even the weird substitutes. I don't think I would like this place as much if it weren't for karen

My family and I have been going here for years. The food is probably the best chinese in kendall, and the service is amazing. One of the reasons we keep coming back is because of our waitress karen. From day 1 she remembered us and our orders, and would suggest different things based on what she got to know we would like.

The best Chinese restaurant. The waitress Karen remembers everything about you and what you order from your first visit. We went with a group of six and my grandson, a picky eater, tried a little from everyone's plate and loved it all.

I have yet to find a better deal on good quality chinese food in miami/kendall. Their lunch and dinner combos are very well priced and they give you A LOT for what you pay for. A 10-12 dollar meal comes with a huge tray of rice, whatever entree you ordered, wanton soup, a rib, and an egg-roll. I can never eat everything in one sitting. The owners are extremely nice when you eat in, and the food itself is delicious! I live in sweetwater but i always make it a point to journey here when i want chinese food.

You get what you pay for. Literally. I've been to this place a couple of times and the food is generally good and sometimes it's even really good. I was caught of guard of how delicious their Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings are. Yeah, I know- but they're good! This time around I ordered Beef with Vegetables which comes with that bowl of white rice. Everything was great from the amount of food to the flavor and the chunks of beef. I only gave it 3 stars because the owner in the past has tried to kick us out as closing time approaches which means if you're thinking about coming here 45 minutes before closing time, think again. He'll say the kitchen is closing and they are only making certain items. Ummm, you're open for almost another hour, I don't think so! Ugh. Also it's uncomfortably cold here so bring sweaters!!!!

The food is freshly prepared and very good. I would especially recommend the spring rolls and desserts. I can't vouch for the meat as I am vegetarian but the vegetables were buttery and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and fast. I stop by whenever I'm in the area.

Typical Americanized Chinese food. It's better than some horrible establishments, but that isn't saying a whole lot. Is it just me, or do 90% of Chinese restaurants that feature a spanish translation on their menu suck balls?? i know we're in Miami, but some of the best Chinese restaurants that I've eaten at don't bother with a spanish translation for every category. Also, they all seem to get their products from the same place. The chicken and veggies look and taste the same in all of the low quality establishments! Am I the only one that notices this? Overall, good egg rolls and average food will get you two stars when there are so many other options out there.

I agree with Mario, allllllllllllll Chinese food is the SAME! The only thing is, if one is bad or it's "average". This one isn't bad, just average. Don't expect nothing spectacular. Honey Chicken is the best in my opinion (but then again, that's practically the only Chinese food I ever order.)
