Very nice place. This was my second time coming and both times didn't disappoint. The pizza is off the hook as they cook it in a brick oven. The staff is always friendly and I always leave full and satisfied. It is a very big space so even when they have a few tables filled, it looks slow. It's not in a very busy area of midtown so not a lot of street traffic but a great addition and hide away.

Service was horrible! There were only 4 tables and the waiter (who I also think was the manager) was so unattentive. She was always talking to her friends at other tables and I had to ask our bus girl multiple times to get her. The bus girl was amazing though, she was on top of everything in terms of filling our water and going to get our waiter. Food: average to below average, but looked nothing like the pictures on yelp, so don't get fooled. I ordered the fettucine alfredo which looked amazing in the picture but all that came out was noodles with sauce and some chicken in it. Pizza was not that great either. Pricing: not horrible. about 15-20 dollars for pasta/pizza. The main dishes are expensive though. Parking: street parking, very easy to get because not in a very crowded area. I would not come back here.

Beautiful restaurant, friendly atmosphere, great food. The staff is very nice, they really give you VIP treatment. On Friday nights, they have a degustazione di cibo e vino from 5:00 to 11:00 PM, and on Sundays Italian brunch. Love the place and truly recommend it.

Great restaurant, my first meal was the Marechiro Calzone. A delicious dish for any meat lover. fresh right out of the wood furness, crafted with homemade mozzarella, and topped with excellent sorted meats.

I would go 5 stars but service was slow! Although it had only been open 3 weeks the kinks should have been worked out. With that being said the food is incredible!!! I highly recommend the seafood pasta, extremely fresh!! Food is reasonably priced considering the location!! I would definitely return!!!

There's a benefit to the first world problem of having low battery on your phone and not being able to take many food pictures... you actually focus on the food and enjoy the taste. Such was my experience last night at Campania. I've eaten at their other restaurant on the beach and enjoyed it, so it's not really a surprise that I'd like it. I was in the Design District after a couple of drinks and wanted some solid sustenance. Pizza and pasta are always good after booze, and I wanted the good stuff. My positive experience started with the friendly greeting at the door by the owners walking me to the bar. The Merlot I started my dinner with was perfectly dry. I started with my favorite app, prosciutto and mozzarella. The prosciutto was thinly cut, and the perfect amount of saltiness. Mozarella was rich and smooth, and the basil was freshly aromatic. The bread offered was yummy cracked wheat. By then I was a little full, so my Diavola Pizza became my Saturday dinner at home but it was generous in the spicy salami and Mozarella spread. The crust was perfectly crispy too. Oh, and what secures their 5 stars is that unlike other restaurants that just bring you a to-go box, my bartender actually packed it for me and gave me perfect reheating time for home. I Iike good, attentive service! As I waited for my car outside, I chatted with the owners a bit, who mentioned their desserts and some of their pasta dishes. I look forward to coming back!

Excelent food, they are very careful with the salt but powerful with flavor. It felt very healthy. What i liked the most is the first restaurant that i ever go to in Miami that makes their own Mozzarella, is the most fresh cheese i have ever tried in Miami. The new management is great.

What a train wreck this restaurant is, first plate I ordered was a minestrone soup, it was worse than canned soup. Then a lasagna , it wasn't that bad but it hardly had cheese and it was cold. We then ordered 2 pizzas one was good but the other hardly had sauce but it had a bonus. A VERY LONG HAIR. Needless to say this place is off my GPS memory.

Slow rainy day so I appeared to be the only client. I had called in a pizza order to pick up, my work is right behind the restaurant and the pizza was ready in the 10 minutes I was suggested it would take. The Place is very nicely decorated and finished inside, I hope they can get more traffic than the previous two restaurants that failed in this space within recent memory. I ordered the Campagnola, a white pizza (no tomato sauce) with sausage and broccoli rabe on it (otherwise known as Rapini). It was quite a disappointment, the overall flavor was bland, the sausage lacked much of any flavour, and the rapini was very bitter. The pizza was just on the wrong side of burnt on the underside which added to the bitter taste. Wood fire pizza is not too difficult to get right with the right pizza chef, but also quote easy to get wrong. I will certainly give them another chance but today was a fail. I will update my review as I try it again.

Awesome food and fun people that work there! Well priced items and a great atmosphere. First trip there it was very loud but they added some sound panels now and it definitely helped. The brick oven pizza is amazing as well as their home made mozzarella!! Definitely worth giving it a try!

Fabulous service, the food was great! I think they make the best pizza's in Miami, all fresh ingredients. Same for the Carpaccio and a couple of the other plates our group ordered. Apple pie dessert was huge and delicious, obviously all home made. They have a full bar which is a plus, our drinks were great. And everything was very reasonably priced. It's nice to find a place like this!

Quite disappointed. As a big fan their other restaurant, Sardinia on Purdy Ave Miami Beach, and their former more causal pizza restaurant adjacent to Sardinia. We had high expectations for Campania. Our initial greeting by the manager/bar tender was very good and we spent some time chatting with one of the owners, Pietro. We had drinks at the bar as we awaited the other couple that were dining with us. However once we were seated at our table it was all downhill. It took a while to get a waitress. She did not appear to be familiar with some items on the menu. Pietro had recommended we try a pizza and raved about the octopus so we ordered both as our starters. Both were disappointing. We requested a well done pizza and this is not how it arrived. It was soft in the middle. The octopus was very chewy. There are many better preparations of octopus in Miami restaurants. Next we shared two pasta dishes. The best I can say is that they were unremarkable. The waitress never returned to our table to find out how the food was and it took quite a while to get her attention when we wanted our check. No one was managing the front of the restaurant. Pietro was greeting some of the guests and going between the kitchen and pizza oven area but overall management was lacking. With so many very good to excellent Italian restaurants in Miami, many within blocks of this one, it may be a while before we give Campania a second chance. The Sardinia owners need to be careful they do not get spread to thin, with their original restaurant still operating their newer restaurant Moye, and now this one. Could this be a case of the cursed/jinxed restaurant location? A few others have tried unsuccessfully to operate a restaurant from this location.

I come here for happy hour for an averna spritz and the margherita pizza and MAYBE a homemade dessert if I'm being really bad. Great service at the bar!

This restaurant is just delicious. It has an elegant beach house feel and the food is just to die for. The pizzas are to die for, but so is the rest of the menu. While elegant, it's still ok to bring kids for dinner. Just what the Design District Needed.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
