Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is not a great authentic Hong Kong style restaurant. However, for Americanized Chinese food, this hole-in-a-wall, quick serving, get-your-plate-from-the-counter place serves pretty good food in good portions. Please try not to wince once you hear the Americanized Chinese food dish names.... The honey chicken (wince) is much better than the one at Canton, a well known trendy Chinese restaurant chain in Miami. And it's much cheaper too although the smaller portion comes as a combo with some other things. The wonton soup is good. The pepper steak (wince) was also good, but I rather stick with the chicken here - and I think the owners would appreciate that as well since most other dishes in the menu mainly consists of chicken! Expect to pay less than $10 for sure - it is that cheap. And if some of the food is better than Canton, then maybe for some it is worth the stop. For drinks, the lemonade is good. Parking is metered ($1.25 an hour) since this is located in one of the interior halls of the buildings in the Jackson Memorial medical center. You won't find this place having a sign on the exterior. But it is not so hard to find - and if you do get lost, I hope you can find the bookstore in the complex - they'll tell you where it is. That's what happened to me! One major negative though (besides the decor): they CHARGE you for chopsticks!!!! I had to settle with plastic fork, knife and spoon since they were free. I cannot believe I was subjected to this! (But if you're really serious about it, I'm sure it is really cheap). Oh and I don't recall a fortune cookie either. This is really a no frills Americanized Chinese restaurant.

I eat this food like every other day because they cater many a meeting at Jackson. The egg rolls and tempura chicken are so greasy, but so delicious. I try to stay away from them, but always end up with a plate. Reasonably priced and reliable. Definitely Americanized, but clearly above average Chinese food compared to other places in the area.

Cheap is the key word if you have work around here like I have for the past 25 years there's not much of a choice make sure to get plenty of soy sauce and hot sauce as those are the only things that will flavor your food you get lots of it. no background music homeless will sing a song I'm not kidding

The food is fresh but does not taste like Chinese. Very greasy. Nothing spectacular. Good value for lunches.

inconsistent taste, ive eaten here 3-4 times over the years, most of my friends refuse to eat here, cheap, the lunch specials are premade, lot of food for the price, never eat here unless you are in jackson and dont want to want to walk to dominion
