bran in the kitchen is across the street from an airbnb rental i had this weekend in miami...super cute place...warm genuine smiles from the staff (and i believe bryan himself) i had the salmon/everthing bagel for breakfast one morning, and it was perfect! so great to stumble upon this place ...i came back several times during my stay this weekend....highly recommended.

Not impressed. For starters their "fresh juices" are not made to order and instead they just sit in a refrigerator getting old. Next I wanted eggs cooked over easy instead of scrambled. The cook, who must have been new, struggled with this as my eggs were cooked over hard. Next, menu stated fresh herbs on my eggs. Dried up dill does really count. Next my breakfast date ordered a panini of which was not fully cooked or even warm in the middle. Epic fail for a nice Saturday breakfast. I won't be back. Espresso was ok but just ok.

I think a great lunch place should be casual, quick, leave you feeling satisfied and willing to come back for more. And this place does it in spades. The decor is great - the space feels very open and welcoming and every time I have walked in, I have been greeted warmly. I love the servers as they are all really nice, very helpful if you're undecided and also will check in with you to make sure you're liking the meal. This is not the type of place that stops caring about the customer once he/she pays. This has officially become my go to place for lunch. Whether I am eating solo or with friends, I love love love this space. Not only is everything organic and healthy, it all tastes divine! I would absolutely recommend any of their grilled cheese sandwiches. Me? I am a fan of the daily specials. It changes all the time but it is always great and surprising - sometimes it is a twist on a menu favorite; other times, it is something completely off the board but just as great (the curry chicken wrap last week was amazing).

Can't say enough good things about this place. One of the best places for lunch (and breakfast too) in downtown. HIgh quality ingredients, tasty food, friendly service. This is a recipe for success.
(5)Daniel B.
I've been here a half dozen times or so now and the sandwiches are consistently good. My favorite is the grilled cheese, with fontina, rosemary and fig. The bread is thickly sliced, either sourdough or multigrain -- I have had both and they are both very good. The staff is very friendly and it's a comfortable place to have lunch. The side, lately a nice orzo salad with dill, is a bit small and looks a little sad and lonely next to the sandwich. The only downside is that we did once order sandwiches sent to the office for a working lunch and a grilled cheese sandwich of any sort isn't going to travel very well. Good thing they are only a block and a half from the office, so it's not often that we need to order in.

Some people try to argue that bigger isn't necessarily better. Luckily for Bryan in the Kitchen, expanding in size and variety of offerings didn't mean a decline in the quality! Been back on multiple occasions since they spread into the adjacent space, and I'm still every bit as enamored as I once was. While you can still get a scrumptious cupcake (strawberry basil remains my favorite) or a decent cup of coffee, they've also got lots of delicious sandwiches and other choices. The salads are fresh and not overly deluged with so many accoutrements that you can't actually taste the lettuce. The sandwiches are made with your choice of bread and have a nice assortment of filling choices (hello fig and gooey brie)! In addition, they come with a scoop of orzo or bowtie pasta salad which are also wonderfully light and not drowned in sauces and creams. The scrambled eggs dishes are perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. It's so nice to have a place that feels slightly more health conscious and yet still delivers on quality and taste without an exorbitant price tag. If you still haven't been yet, you definitely should check it out!

Hidden gem! This restaurant needs to show up more in searches! It's very modern and green inside; lovely IKEA type furniture and low table centerpieces of fresh flowers. I've walked by several times and finally came in for lunch on Friday. This places always has a daily quinoa dish and sandwich special. The menu is made up of mostly paninis and salads. I had the grilled cheese with fontina, apple and sage pesto. Hubs had the roast beef panini sandwich with arugula, tomato, fontina and horseradish (the sandwich special for the day). Both were served with a little side of orzo. We both had our sandwiches on sourdough (you can choose multigrain too). Both sandwiches were freshly made and the cheese was melty and good. Bryan's has a wide selection of unique cupcakes- lavenderand banana chocolate were the ones that cu my eye. For dessert, we split the banana chocolate with chocolate chips and chocolate ganache icing. The icing was so good- the cake was not that moist...more dry. The one tiny complaint is that it takes a while for your sandwich to be served. Just make sure you have a good hour for lunch.

I am SO lucky to live right across from this wonderful little gem. I love the fact that the food is wholesome and organic, and the decor is fresh and interesting. I've eaten here several times and always had a great meal and experience. Everyone who works here is super nice, which is also a pleasant surprise! Today I had the butternut squash and manchego grilled cheese - absolutely amazing. Simple but outstanding. They also have a lemon cupcake that is probably the best cupcake I've ever had in my life. Definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed!
(5)Gracie S.
I loved the chandelier outside but the sandwich was too dry and the salad tasted too salty. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here but I can see how this place is popular with the businesses around it. Good but not AMAZING in my opinion.
(3)stephanie c.
We had one hour to spend in Miami before we had to be somewhere. We chose this place. Says it is open until 7 pm. I even checked their website to make sure it wasn't going to be closed for some reason. Walked up and of course it's closed. Worker inside, but still not open. Super frustrating. Pretty angry. And hungry.
(1)Herby G.
Excellent panini!
(5)Julianne B.
The food is great! Really interesting menu. Next time, though, I'll skip the cupcake--they're a bit dry and the frosting-to-cupcake ratio is off. The lavender cupcake could've used more, well, lavender.
(4)Gisela C.
I am so happy to see this place open in Downtown Miami, conveniently located across from my apartment :) I have been here 2 times. Each time the items we ordered were excellent. LOVED the strawberry kiwi cupcake and their lattes where strong but not bitter. Why 4 stars? Well, I want them to stay open and I think their prices are bit too high for the area. I don't think downtown is ready to pay these prices (yet). Don't get me wrong, I'd totally be back. But I will totally consider my budget before paying $9 for a small cupcake and 2 lattes.
(4)Elle P.
Can I add an extra star??? This place is defintely what this area needed! Good, healthy, flavorful cooking and most of all, THIS PLACE IS SPOTLESS! I enjoy the Orzo salad and OMG, the STICKY BUNS ARE TO DIE FOR!!!! You must try this local boutique eatery-- the owner is a wonderful person, very informative and you can tell he loves his business and takes pride in it! Thank you Bryan for bringing us this fantastic new eatery to an area that really needed it! **TRY ALL THE DESSERTS!!! THEY ARE FABULOUS! **
(5)sharon h.
Bryan: He's "the goods". Talented. Friendly. He's raised the bar for area eateries. The space: Casual chic The food: fresh, delicious, homemade, healthy, quality eats Bryan...I look forward to your NYC outpost!
(5)Sari M.
I love Bryan cup cakes... very yummy and rich of flavor :)
(4)Ali B.
This place is my favorite spot in Downtown. Everything is amazing including the coffee, staff, cupcakes, paninis and decor! Its all made fresh and their juices are delicious. Bryan and the rest of the staff are so lovely and friendly, you feel at home :)
(5)Lauren S.
This place is wonderful!! The food is delicious and natural, everything is recycled or biodegradable, and Bryan is incredibly friendly. I will absolutely be back!
(5)Julia K.
There should be a little spot like this in Miami Beach, Coconut Grove and every other city -- a place to have a strong latte, a pastry and a newspaper. The cupcake may have been the best I ever had (this from a girl that lived smack between Spinkles and Crumbs). I had the hazelnut chocolate meringue cupcake, and I can't wait to try the strawberry basil. I had baked eggs with herbs and my friend had the oatmeal with smashed bananas. Both were as beautiful to eat as they were to look at. Bryan was a great host -- and not bad to look at either!
(5)Megan T.
I am so happy that I just moved in across the street from this place! Stopped in for a quick sandwich one day and tried the Grilled Cheese with Brie and Fig and it was absolutely amazing. The service was great, the guys working there were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Plus, I can literally step out of my door and eat there. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
(4)Cosette T.
We had breakfast here this morning and had a really great experience. The area really needed a place like this, so glad to hear that they are also expanding and will be serving lunch and possibly dinner. Had the Greek yogurt and honey w/strawberries and the bacon cupcake which were both tasty. My boyfriend had the scrambled eggs with dill and tomatoes which he also enjoyed. Service was warm and friendly. I wish them the best of luck and much success!
(5)Joe L.
A refreshing treat in the middle of downtown which has become a staple. The staff are friendly, food is great, and prices reasonable. Definitely try the home-made cookies and/or any of the daily specials.
(5)Maxine V.
This is an awesome little place to get lunch. They have a decent selections of lunch staples (panini, salad, soup?, etc) bottled drinks and sweets (you gotta try a cupcake). The owners are nice and the place is clean and well decorated. I enjoy coming here.
(5)Lola P.
This place is awful! Staff is very slow. Took 45 min for them to make my sandwich! Persons who ordered after me were served before me! I had an eggplant sandwich and the eggplant did not look fresh. Never going back!
(1)Patricia B.
Okay I went to this place because of all the reviews. I had an incredible grilled cheese but my friend's eggs were INEDIBLE. I mean every bite tasted like I was swallowing salt. That's not an easy mistake to make. And a crazy homeless man harassed us right outside while we were sitting down. I mean threatened to fight us for not giving him money.
(2)Allie W.
This place is so cute. Get the pecan roll and ask them to heat it up for you. Get the cupcakes. Get a panini-the roast beef ones are the best!
(5)Jennifer R.
Bryan in the Kitchen is one of my favorite places in Miami. The restaurant has a great team of welcoming people that are clearly proud of the food they serve. I appreciate their ability to cook everything with fresh ingredients and to provide customers with perfect portion sizes. My favorite dish is the Orzo pasta salad and smoked salmon drizzled with mustard and dill sauce - it is simply delicious. I also recommend their cappuccinos and cupcakes. I enjoy the guava filled cupcake with cream cheese icing - the avocado cupcake and fig and walnut cupcakes are pretty unique as well. YUM. If you are in Downtown and looking for a delicious/healthy place to eat - look no further. Thank you Bryan for bringing your business to Downtown Miami.
(5)Luisa M.
Finally had the pleasure of having lunch here. I have to say that my entire experience was fantastic. The service was super friendly and easy on the eyes. I had the quinoa special with chicken. It was so good, I saved a little to bring back home for an afternoon snack!! The chocolate chip cookie was perfect. I cant wait to go back!
(5)Mike A.
We ate breakfast here this morning. The food was fair priced, delicious and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs and strawberry smoothly.
(4)Dave R.
Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and the service is second to none.
(5)shannon r.
Cup cakes yum. Just had the quino salad, and the fig, Brie, and prosciutto pannini. Yummy but a bit too sweet for my taste. Will ask for less fig next time. Nice little organic cafe. Saw about 5 people on their laptop. Seems like a nice place to work and have coffee.
(4)van l.
Best, freshest, healthy, original, flavorful food in the downtown area!! Great home made soups, great coffee, awesome food, and genuinely friendly staff. They always greet you and smile and are so happy! The absolute BEST cookies in all of the U.S. - they are soft, packed full of nuts and just the right amount of chocolate. You can't just have one. The coffee is served in real cups, steaming hot and creamy with the right mount of foam. What a perfect cup of coffee!! Food... That menu is healthy and delicious. I try to get here at least twice a week. Sandwiches, wraps and salads are delicious. I've even tried the scramble with grape tomatoes, dill and cheese -- yummy -- not over-cooked, creamy eggs and so flavorful. Never thought I'd say that much about scrambled eggs. Served with sourdough bread, thick sliced and you can see grill marks on the toast. Hummus is delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The price is comparable to other trendy spots in the area, but what you get here is friendly people who are happy and happy to see you (and great ambiance). The cupcakes are out of this world!! The place is clean, very pleasantly decorated in chartreuse and dark wood. They have raw juices available. You can tell Bryan has a passion for food and fresh, healthy ingredients. He is usually there, will always say "hi" to his customers and is the most down to earth, sweet guy. No wonder his staff is always happy!! Don't walk around downtown and miss out on eating here! You'll regret it.
(5)Shia L.
Best baked goods around town!
(5)Isabel B.
Everything here was great! Light, healthy and organic-y food is hard to find in Miami, let alone downtown for lunch. This place was amazing. I had a salad with quinoa, jimica and green apple and the potato leek soup and it was fabulous. I took 6 cupcakes to go for my office and everyone raved about the different flavors. Everyone was super nice too... did I mention how cute the restaurant was too? I can actually go there and enjoy eating inside. Bryan in the Kitchen is going into my official lunch spot rotation for downtown!
(5)Dustin G.
Great food!
(5)Cheryl R.
Love this place. I had the sun-dried tomato pasta salad for lunch. Very yummy and it came with some delicious hummus. After my lunch I actually felt refreshed, not sleepy or heavy. I wish they'd open one up in SoMi!
(4)Priscilla A.
Healthy delicious gourmet food! Had the orzo salad with chicken and although it was a good size portion did not leave you feeling stuffed. Leave room for the sticky buns!!!
(5)Glen S.
Magnificent, simple food. Bryan and his sister Amanda are delightful people. Bryan's dishes bridge the elusive combination of healthy AND delicious. Did I mention they also serve the best espresso in Miami? What a gift this place is to Miami...
(5)Kathleen K.
I love this place, and the owner/chef Bryan is perfection! He makes EVERYTHING from scratch, including cupcakes and greek yogurt! The sandwiches are made with delicious homemade bread and high quality ingredients. Nothing is oversalted or oversweetened or too greasy. I haven't tried the coffee but I am sure it's delish. And the smoothies are made with homemade greek yogurt and fruit. You really should try it and support a locally owned business in downtown Miami.
(5)Alexa B.
Love this place! The portions are huge and the prices are cheap by downtown Miami standards. We ordered the salmon panini and the breakfast panini. On the breakfast panini you can choose any meat and cheese, so I did mozzarella and prosciutto, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors they manage to get into a simple panino are amazing. I will be back to try their cookies and bagels!
(5)Nathalie B.
Bryan in the Kitchen is a cute little lunch spot in Downtown Miami. I've visited them several times and always order the same thing: grilled brie and fig sandwich with a side salad. If you're looking for a quick bite I highly recommend this place. You can't go wrong with them.
(4)Bo N.
Now open for dinner.... Just sayin. Peach and watermelon Bellini approved. YUUUM!!! Have you looked at the menu? Just go and you won't regret it. I have worked in F&B for 7 years and this place is awesome at local prices. What more do you want. 3 chefs/ 1 menu and I want to try every item.
(5)Krystyn P.
Great food from someone who really knows great food. He can put unique flavorings together in ways you'd never expect. LOVE IT
(5)Sandy R.
Came here by mere chance - had an extra 40 mins before class and wanted to try something new. At first glance, from the outside.. It doesn't look like much. Then, you step into this extremely creatively decorated interior and you feel like you've left downtown and teleported to a magical land of awesome! Highly underrated, great food, great presentation, great service. Definitely will make it back here. I had the Italian style eggs with toast and a side salad. Very delicious and wholesome breakfast. Coffee and orange juice also very fresh and yummy. My friend had the chicken and mozzarella breakfast panini, which left her with high praises as well. Surprised by the small amount of people here, but definitely worth a try! Think of it as a private venue ;)
(5)Charlie S.
I had been to Bryan in the kitchen a number of time to try the baked goods. Cookies have been solid. I'd tried cupcakes a couple times however and been underwhelmed by each (finding them too dense and the buttercream not good). I had sort of figured I wouldn't be giving Bryan in the Kitchen another shot . . . . . . but then I learned that they now have sushi from the people who used to be Little Lotus. Which brought me back to try dining in. I had the bento box lunch -- eight pieces of sushi, california roll, miso soup, a couple of chicken gyoza, and salad with a ginger dressing. I was very pleased with the sushi -- the freshness really stood out here and made it standout from the mostly subpar sushi offerings downtown. The gyoza were good. I liked the salad which had uncommonly tasty and substantial greens for a bento box sized salad. The miso soup was average. Bryan in the Kitchen is definitely worth trying for the sushi.
(3)Sara N.
Every time I order from here it's gone bad Either an order is missing AND another is messed up I always tip 20% on delivery too. So it's like.. Common.. At least check the order. Maybe this place is great for going and sitting down. But NOT for delivery.
(2)Stephen F.
Adorable downtown eatery with adorable staff. The place is just a gem in downtown Miami. The menu is varied and delicious. The staff is friendly, professional, and prompt with the food during lunch which is a must ! The roast beef panni is just amazing. Keep up the good work fellas, and ladies !
(5)Keyla A.
I'm absolutely in love with this place! I discovered by chance and now is one of my favorite places ! The plates are perfectly sized and the flavors were soooooo good! Please try this restaurant you will love it!
(5)Alissa W.
We tired this place for lunch and to be honest nothing on the menu seems that appetizing. So I clicked yelp and saw the popular dish was fig chutney and brie panini. I ordered the sandwich $8.50 with a side of lacking pasta salad looked like a sample size. The sandwich should not have been served all the cheese dried up and melted out I basically paid for bread. I ate a little more than half of a half and just said I have to send this back. I showed the girl and she made me a new one. The way it should have looked. That being said I don't think for $8.50 they should have served me that in the first place. My husband got a smoothie with oatmeal? Blah I told him that just sounded nasty and so I tasted it and I was right ! On a side note I bought their granola $4 a bag is pretty cheap they make it there. I probably will not be going back anytime soon.
(2)Marco C.
Excellent place to eat - would recommend! The food was tasty and the place was well kept. If you're going to lunch downtown and want something healthy, this is the place to go.
(5)Kris G.
Have ordered 2x this week for breakfast. I chose the "Breakfast sandwich" which was good and warm. I felt compelled to leave a review because both times the food and beverages were wrapped with care so my food didn't get cold and my drinks didn't spill. It's hard finding good service in Miami and they took there time in packaging my order.
(5)Johnny T.
Bryan In The Kitchen was a Downtown Miami staple long before I moved in to the neighborhood and will survive far past my departure. With less than a week left as a Miami resident, particularly a Downtown Miami resident, I thought there was no time like the present to finally try it out. It was.. ok. The thing about being the top dog for so long (in an admittedly sparse field) is that you've never pushed to up your game. On the Monday afternoon I stepped in for takeout lunch, I found a relatively light crowd. I was glad to see this. It meant that I missed the lunch rush. The second thing that struck me were the prices. Everything hovered around $11. Depending on my mood, that may be a bit much for lunch. But, there's not much competition and you can actually sit down with silverware at BITK -- even if you plan on taking your food to go. The option's there and that cost is passed on. The interior is stark (on purpose), white and efficient. It left me feeling clean -- and that's a good thing. It took a little while for anyone to address me, despite (or, maybe because) the fact that I stood in front of the menu with open-mouthed confusion. At long last, I decided on the orzo pasta salad with chicken -- $10.50. Not bad. The salad was decently-sized and prepared fairly quickly. I took my food to go and headed back to my apartment to dig in. The combo of dill, cucumber, mustard dressing, and tomato mixed in to my pasta and protein sounded fantastic. It tasted... okay. Despite the advertised strong flavors of dill and french mustard, the dominant flavor was 'cold.' My salad tasted cold. My salad tasted like a cold pasta salad with tomato and bland chicken. Healthy? For sure. Filling. Yeah, I'd say so. Pleasurable? Not really. Maybe I chose poorly? Maybe the secret to BITK's sauce is to come here for breakfast? I dunno. At least I tried it before moving... right?
(3)Alejandra S.
We got here by searching on yelp for clean healthy places to eat.....surprisingly..best sushi we've ever had!!! We had the Flagler and Big Mack rolls....both amazing....very good music and great staff. Definitely coming back and recommending!!!!
(5)Henry H.
Bryan's is now open for dinner and the amazing thing about it is that they are serving the menu from the old Ozzie Sushi!!!!! Good lunch and awesome dinner. I can finally get my Torched Squid rolls back that I have been dying for. This is definitely worth the trip. Sari, Im glad your back in town mama!!!
(4)Michael H.
Stopped in for breakfast with my girlfriend while we were walking our dogs. The food was good and I would probably give four stars, but the waitress was so attentive and friendly and the price was so reasonable that I think Bryan in the Kitchen deserves the full five. We didn't order anything special (just got egg sandwiches) but the food was fresh and delicious. The two sandwiches and a coffee was less than twenty dollars which for Miami is a bargain. What set the experience apart was the service. The waitress saw we had our dogs and immediate asked if they would like water. It wasn't a particularly hot day, but I'm sure the dogs still appreciated it. Little did the dogs know, their day was about to get a lot better when the waitress brought out chopped chicken for both dogs in their own bowls. I will defiantly be back for lunch in the future.

I've been wanting to try this spot out but i could never find parking. Luckily i had to go to the seybold bldg and took advantage of the free valet parking when ever i visit and made the walk over. It was breakfast time so i decided to try the breakfast panini. I have to say it was probably one of the best panini's I've tried. the eggs had me screaming "They're so fluffy" i had to ask the chef how he got the eggs to be so fluffy. he gave me his secret but he told the real reason why is the quality in their products. i believe him bc i do the same at home to my eggs and it never comes out so fluffy. everything tasted so fresh and extremely tasty. The service was great as well. The guys continued to ask me how my food was and they were extremely friendly. The bowtie pasta with sun dried tomato was an excellent compliment to the panini. the portion was very large and i could only finish half of my sandwich. i took the other half to a coworker of mine to try and she absolutely loved it. i will be back for lunch to go visit the friendly staff and try one of their famous soups and sandwiches. i was tempted to try a cupcake but i was trying to be good. so i will leave it for my next visit. Definitely worth the parking pain issues in downtown. Will be back soon.

First night for their new dinner dining time. Food and atmosphere were great, highly recommend
(4)Megan B.
Great breakfast and lunch spot. We had the French and Italian Eggs. Came with a delicious side salad and toast/jam. Upbeat and modern ambiance. Will come again to try the salad and panini options for lunch!
(5)Jennifer H.
Loved the menu, good price, clean and good service!! Finally a place that is open late in downtown
(5)fabienne f.
Amazing spot. It's totally unexpected to find such a great spot in this area in Miami and everything about Bryan in the Kitchen is a good surprise. Bryan's pastries, juices and coffees are to die for. And now that Bryan in The Kitchen is open evenings, the restaurant has reached another level. Amazing new "organic Japanese" menu with delicious and innovative dishes. Atmosphere is also great for couples or bigger groups. Great quality for the price and the staff is incredibly professional and nice.
(5)Blanca T.
Great for quick work lunch! The soups are amazing
(4)Eldita B.
Came here for breakfast with my friend on a Saturday morning. She was excited to try the sweet potato waffles only to be advised that there were no waffles whatsoever or yogurt. We opted for the Spanish style eggs. She ordered a latte which she said was good. The eggs tasted as if they were cooked in the micro. A bummer considering their presentation and the staff's energy. Salad garnish was fresh and toast points were crunchy. Not sure I'll go back for breakfast.
(3)Bryan Z.
A decent late breakfast/early lunch spot is very hard to come by in Miami that does not involve grease. Yes corporate franchises such as Panera Bread are a relief, however if you are looking for change go to Bryan in the Kitchen. This little gem is neatly situated between little storefronts downtown. Parking is a block away, just turn right passing the Catholic Church and park immediately on your right. Its a oublic parking, but its rarely full and could be had for $3. If you know downtown, youd take it as well. Upon entering, youll find a nice contemporary location thats easy on the senses. The menu was divided into small breakfast platters, sandwiches and muffins. Their sandwich selection is simple but effective. I opted for the salmon with creamcheese spread. Amazing, clean and refreshing! My only gripe, albeit a small one was their drink choices. They would fair better with a nice selection of natural juices. Their muffin and cupcake selection was excellent as well. If you are in downtown, definitely stop by.
(5)Katherine K.
I have been coming here for years and have always loved their fresh approach to organic food. They finally expanded to a dinner menu and I am finally speechless. I went with a table of 8 and everyone was extremely impressed. Someone has finally brought home made food to your table. PRICELESS & DELICIOUS. A true hidden GEM
(5)Carolina V.
Ive been here a few times and their menu never ceases to leave me undecided. Their brie and fig grilled cheese is heaven in my mouth, forever a beautiful memory lingering on my tastebuds. The space is open and refreshing and the decor is v nice.
(5)Phuong O.
A nice spot to have a non fatty lunch. I ordered the turkey sun dried tomato pesta cheddar panini and that was so awesome. It was nicely toasted and served with pasta. I also got me the banana choc hazelnut cupcake and that was just okay, I think I had high expectation for these cupcakes. The cake was kinda hard, not moist as I was hoping for. I think that's due to the banana mix or something, just a guess. I give it 8/10. Overall it's a nice place with nice people, I will return for their other sandwiches and desserts. They use environmental to go boxes, cups and utensils, which is pretty cool.
(4)Craig P.
Super clean, very hip atmosphere and accommodating staff. Food was excellent. Highly recommend.
(5)Abby G.
Food is great. A wonderful selection of cold and hot sandwiches, salads, healthy meals, sushi options, etc. And delicious smoothies. Service tends to be kind of disorganized and a little slow, although the staff is nice.
(4)Willa X.
My eggplant panini was delicious! The multigrain bread was perfectly toasted (could've chosen sourdough as well), and the artichokes, tomatoes, and melted mozzarella made for solid additions. I loved the side of orzo as well, and only wish that there was more of it than just the tiny spoonful's worth served. My main gripe is that the blueberry banana soy smoothie was horribly watered down. Granted, it was only $4, but I can make better ones at home even without a fancy Vitamix. I'll chalk it up to a fluke for now.... Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Interior was clean, and decor was a nice mix of cute and modern. Great ambiance. Will be back again for sure to try out all the other paninis, and *maybe* tackle another smoothie.
(4)Whitney ..
I was DT due to the Book fair and needed somewhere to eat. Of course I went on Yelp to see what was up with good eats in the area. I narrowed down my choices to this and another place. You can see who won out. The staff was friendly. They didn't seem bothered with me asking a lot of questions and taking my time. I ended up having the tomato bisque soup and chorizo panini. Both were really good. They had a great selection of sweets and smoothies as well. Dont know the next time I will be in the area, but I will definitely check this play out again.
(4)Kaleb K.
Sushi is fresh and awesome. Worth a trip for excellent extremely fresh and tasty sushi.
(5)Danielle D.
Very clean, very fresh but unimpressed with eggplant panini... It was cold and barely pressed; needed seasoning. Service was slow. Not a bad place for a fresh lunch but don't have high expectations.
(3)Kike D.
I like the food, but their delivery service is horrible and and slow. Had to cancel the order and get fast food elsewhere.
(3)Robin B.
I ordered the grilled swiss cheese with onion chutney sandwich on whole grain bread. Ok. Well. There was 2 slices of swiss on the sandwich. Microscopically thin. The chutney was not chutney. It was a ton of cold grilled onions. So it should have been called The Cold Grilled Onion sandwich. My dude had a chicken panini. He said it tasted like lunchmeat and it wasnt warm. Then we tried a strawberry cupcake and a coconut cupcake. The cupcakes are like Jamaican hard dough bread shaped like a cupcake with lard icing. Super terrible. So. Thats that.

No other place in downtown like this one so so so delicious and the price is great for the quality of food and great taste to me eating healthy is important to me this restaurant makes it affordable to eat healthy very good this place is awesome is the best I highly recommended and the staff is really nice everyone who works there is very helpful I always like and enjoy coming to eat here :-)

Just moved into the neighborhood and am lucky Bryan's is across the street. Varied menu, great sandwiches/panini and great service. Had the Breakfast Panini and Turkey Caprese - both excellent! Can't wait to keep coming back!
(5)Isaias M.
Cold and overpriced sandwiches. Very small portions. If you don't know what to do with $10 bucks and probably want a sandwich with no flavor and really cold; Yei! it's the place to go! Went with more people, they're probably not used to handle big groups (15). Some had to wait over an hour for their sandwich. Most of them finished getting something else than they ordered. Although I have to say, the people working there are really friendly, the waiters and waitress were really kind. But at the end of the day, what matters; food/place = really bad.. Would totally never go back again.

I've only eaten here once but that one time was amazing. Everyone is right- they're super friendly! Also like that they're conveniently located near the metro-mover. I had the brie, prosciutto, and fig panini. They have it without prosciutto too but I didn't realize that at the time. IT WAS SO GOOD. Gooey, tasty bread, and the fig spread was delicious. BIG too, which was great because I had half leftover for breakfast. It came with some pasta salad which was appreciated. I also got a peanut butter chocolate cupcake after MUCH deliberation because EVERYTHING looked SO GOOD. I was between that one and the guava con queso...but chocolate won out. If that famed strawberry basil one had been there though...uhoh. My macchiatto was pretty tasty but probably too expensive. In fact my only gripe is that this place is a little pricey, BUT you really do get what you pay for- delicious homemade food. I like to think of this place as my little downtown Panera but better.

A fashion and fitness model shares his healthy eating habits with us! I had the Power Salad which was walnuts, French feta, red onion, roasted chicken over a bed of spring mix w/ arugula. My wife had the organic white quinoa salad. Both dishes were very tasteful. Both were served with a small side of hummus with mint. The sweet balsamic vinaigrette was wonderful and worked well with the feta cheese. The lemon ginger dressing brought together the roasted butternut squash, cranberries, parsley and red onion beautifully. As a side I had the butternut squash and carrot soup. One can also purchase homemade juices like beet carrot apple and orange and carrot juice. I would have bought the apple mint cucumber but it was sold out. We highly recommend this place!

I stand 100% behind the Bryan in the Kitchen style, but felt a little disappointed the other day when I ordered my honey mustard salad again to see that the chicken portion for a almost $10 salad was minimal. I cook chicken and know the weight jut by looking at it and this portion did not even cut it to 3 oz. it was probably 2 oz I don't think I will be back for the salad. In fact, looking back at my previous reviews and the pictures - that was a ton of chicken (pulled) vs. the 3 thin pieces on my romaine lettuce instead of baby greens! wow... i am disappointed and I do not like when there is a lack of consistency. I tried their walnut / chocolate chip cookie which was ok - their banana bread was better.

Awesome organic and local sandwich place in the heart of Downtown Miami. It's counter service and they bring the food to you. Affordable prices, I've never spent more than $10 and feel full every time. Nice decor inside and very friendly people. I come here usually once a week for lunch!

My first review for 2014! I am as of this review, laden with resolutions and I'm trying to remain cool, calm and collected and not let them be a burden. Far from it, one of my resolutions to self is to look up interesting places to dine using only YELP as my ap of choice and following the advice of friends. I saw this came highly recommended from Eve and having lunched with her at least twice in 2013 I can assure you - her reviews are impeccable and can be relied on always. She doesn't disappoint with this venue; the food is presented promptly, efficiently, economically and yes there is some divine male eye candy; and surprisingly the good looking men are also ready to serve with a smile - is this downtown Miami? I opted for one of the flavored Pellegrino waters (c'mon, every time you see these festive little cans - almost neon in décor - don't they add a sense of "posh" to the place your eating? Well, I think so!) and a salad featuring walnuts, feta and strawberries - just delicious and did it hit the spot! My other major resolution comes with the caveat that I was diagnosed with some health problems toward the end of last year; considering my singlehanded support of Caribbean rum distilleries and Argentine vineyards it shouldn't have been too much of a surprise but in short, I've got to start eating healthier to be happier and if I'm looking to eat food to make me happy as well as healthy, I couldn't have done better than start at Bryan's - I'll be back!

I ordered delivery for the first time today and the food is delicious! It's very fresh and has great flavors. I got the combo which brings 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad, or you can substitute with a cup of soup for either item. Surprisingly, it was more food than expected and for a good price. And the delivery time wasn't too bad. It came within the 45-60 min that was estimated. I was just super hungry and was hoping it would come sooner. Overall, I liked it and will definitely order from here again.

After hearing such rave reviews on Yelp, my bf and I while touring Downtown Miami on a early morning decided to stop in for breakfast! Love the modern decor, love the creativity of the menu and was quite pleased with the food! I ordered the fontina, apple, sage and pesto grilled cheese and definitely enjoyed it! I washed it down with a refreshing coconut juice and was most pleased! My boyfriend ordered the scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes and herbs and it was pretty good! Try the orange juice: fresh-squeezed is the way tooo gooo! Good portion sizes support healthy eating!
(4)Jesse M.
Can't beat the vegetarian sandwiches, Amazing service, and wonderfully made coffee drinks. I'm bummed they ran out of Orzo, but that just means it's that damn good! This place is a great lunch spot in downtown Miami!
(5)Lena C.
Yum!! Way to go Bryan! This is the best (okay, only) spot downtown where you can grab a healthy quinoa dish, hearty soup, or delectably delicious fancy pants grilled cheese. The fig & brie grilled chee - do it!! But let's get back to the healthy & back to the quinoa -- Yes!! So happy that I can go out a grab a lunch special for $9 just a few blocks form work and not have instant regret afterwards!! There's so many options here & I've only been by twice, so far. But, I just can't wait to go back again. This is definitely the go-to spot when you have a craving for real food, made with real ingredients. And -- when you're ready for a *real*, real-big cookie - then Double Yum!! The cookies are enormously huge -- and hey, why not after a healthy quinoa dish?? You can't be too good in one day... and... well... if you're going to eat a sweet treat for the day -- go for one of the giant cookies. On my way out, I grabbed a package of the homemade granola bars to keep at work. It was a bag of 4 cranberry-coconutty-granola-y-apricoty-deliciousneÂss! I had to kick the unhealthy-girl-inside-of-me's to keep from eating the other 3 bars after the first one. But healthy-me prevailed and can;t wait to go back and try more of the lunch specials.

Came here for lunch. Had a fontina cheese sandwich with figs. Absolutely delicious. It came with a side of sun dried tomato pasta which was amazing. And try the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. Very friendly staff.
(5)Bobby S.
Had breakfast and lunch here. Some interesting twists on standard offerings. Good food, meh on staff attitude. Bathrooms dirty, lacking toilet paper and towels to dry hands. Convenient & met our needs.
(2)Erika K.
This is the best place downtown to have a fresh and healthy meal. I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried. I love their green salads and pasta salads, their soups, and their Quinoa dishes.
(4)Eve C.
Bryan in the Kitchen is killin' it on the Downtown lunch scene! Offering fresh, homemade fare, from an always-awesome soup-of-the-day, to unique grilled cheese combos, to tasty smoothies made fresh with their homemade greek yogurt, Bryan's got you covered! The staff is so pleasant and eager to please, they make popping into Bryan in the Kitchen a great distraction from an otherwise mediocre work day. Added bonus - they didn't bat an eyelash when I strolled in with a group of 10 on a recent weekday! And did I mention Bryan's probably got the most attractive staff in Downtown? So far I've sampled the homemade tomato and the chicken noodle soups, the brie-and-fig-chutney grilled cheese on multigrain, the orzo pasta salad, and a blackberry smoothie. Everything has been truly amazing, so much to the point that I plan my lunch excursion before I've even had breakfast! Prices are very reasonable - you can easily get away with an under-$10 filling lunch at Bryan. And icing on the cake is the uber-cool iPad card-swipe payment system - no paper receipts in this place!
(5)Ingrid R.
Bryan, you had me at your banana & walnut loaf. I swear I could eat the whole thing it's that damn good! So far I've only tried the chorizo and manchego panini but it got me coming back for more. I can only imagine everything else tastes just as delicious and everyone I've taken to this little spot of heaven has enjoyed their selections. Only item that failed to impress was the butternut squash & chai cupcake. Maybe it's just not my thing but it didn't excite my taste buds. For the record, I had it after eating the banana & walnut loaf, which I fell in love with, so maybeeee I didn't give the cupcake a fair chance....just maybe. Take public transportation to this place because we all know downtown parking is a mess. Since I work in Brickell I usually walk so if you have that as an option it makes for a nice, relaxing stroll. The staff is great and friendly and their orange juice is out of this world!!!
(5)Vanessa D.
Went with a girlfriend for lunch. Our salads were fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The owner even told me I looked nice which was an unexpected delightful surprise. The portion for the salad was generous which was a nice plus. I didn't have any of the homemade sweets they have by the register this time, but I will next time. They looked absolutely delicious!
(5)Terrell F.
Fresh, homemade fare in the heart of Downtown Miami's historic CBD.
(4)Felicia B.
Drove way out of my way since I used to love this place. Yelp hours are wrong and beware they close on a whim. Closed at 3:20 when their hours go till 4. Wouldn't even let me but some prepared foods. Never again.
(1)Ashley L.
Definitely fresh, great options for every diet..took a star off bc the food didn't completely blow me away, but was very delicious nonetheless...great place for a quick and satisfying bite!
(4)Paul A.
Great food, great service + super healthy!
(5)Zach Z.
I enjoyed eating here. Tucked away downtown, this place offers fresh tasty food. One thing I wish they did a little better was street visibility. I had to look it up on Yelp, and couldn't find the place initially until I was right in-front of it. Also, wished they were a little more flexible with the specials for the day. I had specifics of what I could eat, and decided against what looked like a tasty dish because they couldn't alter it. (assumed it was pre-made)
(4)Errol J.
Bright cheerful place to eat in. In the heart of downtown close to MiamiDade College. Food has great light and fresh lunch offerings such ad wraps and salads. Unique selection of cupcakes. I was torn between the lychee cupcake with Lychee cream cheese frosting and the butternut squash cupcake with chai frosting. I also had a refreshing raspberry mint tea that is made fresh. Daily specials with fresh soup offerings. Staff is polite, professional, knowledgable and quite.

Pretty good, but not amazing. I really, really wanted to love BITK, and I did like it, but wasn't in love. I had a turkey, sundried tomato, cheddar panini (I swear the menu said it was going to have pesto... not sure if it did and I just didn't see it or if it wasn't on there). It was good, but not really anything to write home about. The panini came with a side of pasta that seemed like it was tossed in the same sundried tomato that was on my sandwich, which felt like a bit of overkill on the sundried tomato. Again, not gross, but not fantastic. And for almost ten bucks for a sandwich, I want to be dazzled! The only other item I had was a chocolate chip cookie (yes, I'm carbing it up today). I had really intended to try one of the cupcakes I had read about on other yelp reviews, but wasn't really into any of the four flavors that were offered, so I got a cookie instead. The cookie was probably the bright spot of the meal for me, I enjoyed it. Wish it had been a little less crunchy, but I know that's just a personal preference. The homemade granola looked very good, but I didn't try it. I'm a little interested to check out breakfast here for the greek yogurt offerings I've read about in other reviews. I will say that the restaurant had a nice amount of seating, appeared clean, and had some good tunes. I might give this place one more shot to try one of the salads, but overall... meh.

Yay for downtown Miami having a healthy restaurant that offers delicious options at fairly reasonable prices! My husband and I had lunch at Bryan's and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty and filling the grilled cheeses we ordered were. I went with the apple/fontina sandwich, and my husband ordered the fig/brie one. While both were good, the fig one was the clear winner. We also ordered an orange juice and an apple/mint juice - both were incredibly fresh. Bryan's is an unassuming place that is a must visit if you're in the downtown/Brickell area. We'll definitely be back.

After several visits, I can say I am a fan! I especially enjoy the fact that I can walk here from my condo, and they are open at night. Decor is simple with a small dining area inside and a few tables outside. If you are a desert person, oh my on their counter top they have some of the cutest cupcakes ever and fresh baked cookies. The menu is written on a huge chalkboard on the wall. They have sandwiches, soups, and salads. So far I have tried the prosciutto and chicken panini. You have a choice of five grain bread or sourdough. The soups are a purée, and they change daily. Service is super friendly! The ingredients, meat, cheese, and vegetables all taste super fresh with excellent quality. The bread is delish, not sure if they make it in house but it sure taste like it. The prices are very reasonable, most under $10. Not sure about busy lunch time but do not be in a hurry here. They prepare the food after you order, so it does take a little patience and is so worth the wait. Great location, great prices, clean, friendly staff, and delicious food, yes thank you for yet another awesome place downtown.
(4)Rebecca C.
Fresh wholesome cupcakes. YES please. I swear one day I will go here for more than the cupcakes, but until then, Bryan's is always on my mind for an after downtown lunch sweet spot. There is nothing like having homemade fresh cupcakes in tasty flavors like these. This time I felt risky and tried the lavendar cupcake. So good, can't really describe it. It doesn't taste flowery like you'd think but more fragrant notes and subtle hints of .... not really sure how to describe it. You must try it for yourself. I was very pleased. Last time I got the Strawberry Basil cupcake my friend Stephanie G raves about and I loved the twist of basil and the real pieces of strawberry in the icing. All the cupcakes are vanilla with the flavor bomb being in the icing. This works perfect here, just the way they do it. They also had Maple Bacon too for the adventurous bacon lover making a stop. Next time though, I swear, I am dying to try one of their grilled paninis or salads. I love this place. Oh - did I mention how nice the staff are?
(5)Susy C.
I love this place! anything from the food, to the service, to their music & their staff.... not to mention talking and catching up woth Bryan or Dana... always with a smile and a good laugh... this establishment is great. All of their creations really tickle my brain... :)

BRYAN IN THE KITCHEN=TASTY ON A PLATE. I wandered in for lunch last week and had my socks summarily blown off by the special quinoa and jicama salad. It was a beautifully presented crunchy, fresh, sweet, luscious burst of beautiful colors arranged artfully with a little scoop of humus and crackers on the side. Such a perfect little lunch plate! I was thrilled! And Bryan's place is cute and clean with comfortable seating and great service. I was so impressed, I was still thinking about Bryan's a week later, so yesterday, I decided to go back. I tried the tomato basil soup. Meh. It was definitely homemade, but it was a touch oily. Tomato soup can be tricky-it won't stay silky for long, and sadly, this soup wasn't silky at all. Oh, well. Bryan's a mere mortal. I'll go back for another salad for sure.
(4)Linda M.
Wonderful spot in the downtown area for healthy good food options. My only complaint is the breakfast menu isn't large enough and there aren't allergy options for gluten and diary intolerant. Needless to say its not a chain and the food is great, and it beats hotel breakfast options any time
(4)Richard M.
The food here is delicious. Great job of mixing savory with sweet. Highly recommend the ham, Swiss, onion chutney, mustard and tomato on sourdough panini. Also, the Brie and fig chutney grilled cheese was phenomenal.
(5)Betty M.
I finally made my way here. I was super excited to try this place out. My banana caramel cupcake was dry. I didn't find a hint of banana or caramel in it. Not sure what I ate but I ate it b/c I was starving especially since my grilled cheese sandwich took more than 20 min. The grilled cheese sandwich was good. I definitely want to try other grilled cheese sandwiches. The pasta salad side (Spoonful, really) was excellent. I would go back for the grilled cheese and pasta salad but not the cupcakes.
(3)Kevin C.
The food is the best lunch food I've had in Miami. It is incredibly fresh and while I'm not huge on organic food, if it tastes great I don't care. The sandwiches are reasonably priced and tasty, and the smoothie is deliciously fresh. The decor is sleek and stylish inside, and there are two tables outside for some people watching in the afternoon.
(5)Brooke R.
Love this place for fast, fresh food. The salads are to die for. The paninis/sandwiches...my god. It really doesn't get better than anything with melty cheese...and this cheese - manchego, brie, feta, basically whatever your little heart desires - is damn good. Brie and Fig on multigrain...get it, you won't regret it (if you like brie and fig that is). If not...chorizo, manchego, something or other is also hella good. Enjoy! Oh! Also take a look at their little desserts. I've gotten many a good idea from their cupcake display!
(5)Brittany J.
God I love this place. The BEST lunch spot. I've tried a lot of their stuff and it's ALL good (seriously). Right now I'm having the jerk chicken panini and it is sooo yummy. Lots of flavor, fresh ingredients, and DELICIOUS. It has chicken, cheese, cilantro, fresh tomato and red onion, and some kind of sauce that is amazing. I am a sauce kind of girl, so that made it for me. I haven't tried their cupcakes yet because I'm on this stupid sugar free diet...however I hear they are just as amazing as everything else. Plus the decor is super cute. I noticed other people commented on how clean it was....YES. Downtown Miami is dirty and grimy. Bryan in the kitchen is clean and bright. Love love love it.
(5)Michael M.
I have heard and read a lot about this place. We are always looking for a healthy alternative when it comes to food. This place is nice, although, if you didn't know what it was, you would probably be scared to walk down its street let alone inside their doors. However, once your there, its all good. The food is fresh and light. They a nice variety of items from salads to panini's and daily specials. We had the quinoa with squash salad with chicken and it was great, lots of flavor and very fresh, would def order it again. I had the prosciutto & mozzarella panini and it was very good and different since I have always had that type of sandwich cold. We also ordered a banana/hazelnut cupcake for dessert... Since it would be a total conflict of interest, I will not review it, sorry. Anyways, we def enjoyed our lunch and would return there in the future.
(4)Mags M.
Well, being that I work a block away I been here a few times in the past month or so. I have tried a few items from pinni to sanwiches and salads. Never ordered anything I did not like or was not fresh
(4)Stephanie C.
The eggplant panini was delicious and the salad portions are quite generous. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
(4)Sebastian M.
Came in for a late breakfast and ordered their crushed banana oat meal with cranberries and a whole grain bagel with salmon. Amazing! I can't remember the last time I had a breakfast that good. Portions and quality were good for the price, and service is always great!
(5)Mr R.
Best eggs I have had in Miami but need to ask them to scramble instead of steam. Amazingly seasoned. Everything very reasonably priced.
(5)Tony A.
I just recently found out about this place. I highly recommend this place. It is literally a breath of fresh air. Let's face it, downtown Miami is a little grimy. The moment you step in Bryan in the Kitchen it's immaculate, warm, and inviting. The smell of freshly baked things immediately greets you and you instantly feel ready to eat. It's a real welcome change from some of downtown's grimier spots. The food is very fresh, and Bryan offers an array of sandwiches/panini, salads, and a couple of soup selections (which vary). I had a green salad with a really delicious dijon vinaigrette with fresh pieces of perfectly roasted chicken breast. I know what you're thinking "salad with chicken, big deal?" You'd be wrong. The greens were remarkably fresh, the chicken perfectly prepared, and the vinaigrette spot on. It's really easy to enjoy a salad when it's done perfectly. The baked goods looked amazing and I plan on partaking in the future, but since I missed my workout I passed. I will not be so disciplined in the future. The baked goods here look tremendous. Eat here.
(5)Adriana C.
Fantastic in every way! I love this place so much and have never had a bad experience. The food is fresh and made to order. I also love the ever changing variety of daily specials and attention to detail given to each item. My personal favorite is the fontina, fig and rosemary panini on sourdough bread; sweet, savory and delicious The cupcake creations are great too - maple bacon? Yes please! Besides the great food, the service is phenomenal. The guys behind the counter are friendly, helpful, and anticipate your needs. I only have to ask for things once and they are on top of it. I really enjoy this place and I'm so glad they opened up across my building. I only wish more people would know of it because it is worth it.
(5)Joanne M.
I love Bryan in the Kitchen just as much as I love Bryan, the owner. Despite how popular this place has becme, he always rememebered that me and my mom used to come for lunch alomost everyday when he first opened. This kind of hospitalitiy is quite rare in Miami. It's nice to feel appreciated that you're spending your hard earned money. With that being said, I adore the food and the ambiance. Usually when we have a working lunch, I try to get Bryan on our list of restaurants:-) PS. try ALLL of the cupcakes
(4)Mike W.
Expensive and overrated. $18.00 for 2 small Panini's? Another one bites the dust.
(2)Marty C.
Really great downtown lunch option. One of the only healthy alternatives. Went with the chorizo manchego panini and it was really good. Little skimpy on the meat and cheese for $10 but the fresh baked bread and fresh produce made every bit worth it. Also, the Hearts of Palm/Beet salad with blue cheese and yogurt dressing looked incredible. Fresh goodness and Miami's ever elusive service with a smile. Nice job Bryan.
(4)Desiree C.
The paninis from here all mind blowing ! From a person who hates sandwiches and anything with bread in it , it never fails to amaze me how I enjoy every second every time I eat anything from here ! You guys are amazing ! The cupcakes are awesome, the restaurant is clean, and the best part is I live walking distance so I can come and go whenever I please !
(5)Anna G.
Let me start off by saying that my rating is ONLY based on entering the restaurant and buying 2 cupcakes, lychee and guava. I was really disappointed specially because I REALLY wanted to like their cupcakes. I'm a huge cupcake lover and I'm always checking out different sires. Having said that, I was really dissatisfied by the lack of flavor and richness in the cupcakes. I'll give the lychee the benefit of the doubt considering it might be an "acquired taste" plus the bottom half wasn't all that bad. But there is no excuse for the guava. It wasn't rich and silky, it just tasted blah. I'm giving them a 3 because even though they were closing shop, they still have took my order and wrere really nice. The decor us also super cute. I'm eager to maybe try some of their actual food. We'll see.
