My wife and I at lunch here one day while staying across the bridge at the Mandarin Oriental. I love the German beers they have on tap. We both ordered burgers which were good for the price. Considering the prices of the places to eat at the Mandarin Oriental this place was a welcome change. You should have some time for your meal; they were not that fast.

I have to admit that half the reason I go there is the Peruvian girl that works the bar most nights... but the burgers are good and reasonably priced, drinks aren't the cheapest, but the view has to cost something.... right? All in all, this place is the perfect place to go if you want a quiet place to chat or to see a really hot Peruvian girl.

Great view of the water, good food and beer selection. Drinks are expensive, but the turkey club sandwich was awesome, one of the best I've ever had actually. Just a relaxing place to sit and have a bite to eat, or a drink if you're willing to dish out SoBe cash for them.

I tried Blue Parrot for lunch today, even though it had some questionable reviews. First thing I noticed was that the place in general had a dingy dirty feel to it, even for a tiki bar. The beer selection is limited and does not match the menu. I went there specifically because people sited only having german beer on tap as a negative. That's a huge plus in my book. Unfortunately, unless you are a Weiss bier fan you only have 1 choice, Spaten oktoberfest. I am ok with that but was really craving a Pils since I got back from Germany 3 weeks ago. The service was minimal at best. This is once again the result of an 18% gratuity being added to every check. Therefore the server is not impacted by doing next to nothing. She got my beer and delivered my food and that was the last I saw of her and I was the only one at the bar. Now the food on the other hand was quite good. I had a turkey club that was very generous in size and done extremely well. The potato salad was purchased but high quality and tasted good. If they could get the service on par with the food and make the place a little more presentable they might have a chance.

So much potential... Blue Parrot has got the goofy name and waterfront view that tourists and locals alike dream of in Miami. But the prices are way too steep. Sure you can come and grab drinks and sit outside at the Four Ambassador's pool but what good is a view when you're paying so much for drinks? I's love to see this place offer an aggressive happy hour discount on food and drinks and then reach out to local groups. Ahhh, it could all be so cool. If you still want to check it out then head to the Four Ambassadors and keep walking until you're outside. On the positive side, this place is hidden, quiet, good for conversations and you can just valet your car. I've also seen them have a large television outside playing futbol so it might be a World Cup destination for soccer fans during the week.

Great place to unwind with friends. Quiet and beautiful outdoors with a view. Prefer this place over any other Brickell establishment. Personable service always willing to converse.

They have a great beer selection, and I don't have to battle with crowds of people on a breezy, warm Saturday afternoon. Right next to the ocean, with a nice view of Brickell Key... its not the most amazing spot but, for a nice, uncrowded spot to drink and relax after golf or tennis, this hits the right note. Calamari wasn't amazing... just stick with beer.

I had fond memories of this place from years ago. Unfortunately the two nasty sluts they hired as bartenders must have won the lotto or something, they think they can do whatever they want. Bring your boyfriend multiple plates of food and then have him feed you in front of customers? PERFECTLY normal behavior for 7pm at the Blue Parrot. They get two stars because they have German beer on tap. they'd get 5 if I could pour it myself. Yuck.

The Blue Parrot Bar & Grill is located outside on the pool deck of the Four Ambassadors and is an excellent spot for a quick lunch. The menu is reasonably priced and you can sit by the water and relax. The bar is a full service bar and they have delicious salads and wraps.

If you're the kind of person who likes to head to a bar by yourself and strike up a conversation with people, this is a good place to go in Brickell. It's all open air, and mostly bar seating. The servers are friendly, and the draft beer selection is actually pretty good (Franziskaner beer!)... That being said, closing at 11 pm is quite a downfall for any bar. I recommend going on a weeknight and enjoying some quality beer until 11pm. Then calling it an early night!

JUST SAY NO to the Blue Parrot. Was there this weekend. First day was fine - the service was slow but whatever. Went there the second day and we got double charged for drinks by the bartenders. We had a 20 minute conversation about the bill - they charged us for "lemonade" $25 worth of lemonade - although we never had lemonade. Not one. They said that there was nothing they could do about it because it had been charged through. Oh but they also got their 18% gratuity already added onto the bill. The bartender pretended like it wasn't a big deal because other places have $20 drinks. Well, that's why we went to their place - but getting double charged for drinks you never drank and not fixing them matter turns out to be just as expensive as the other places. Just steer clear of this shady place. It was close to where we stay in Miami - was hoping to find a nice place to go when we're in town to just relax. JUST SAY NO to the Blue Parrot.

Had an awful experience when we tried to have dinner there after a bike ride. We asked if we could park our bikes nearby and were told we could. I paid forty dollars for high-priced beers but before we could even drink the beer we were unceremoniously given a stack of plastic cups and asked to take our bikes through the building to the street. Of course, the manager refused to refund our money. Extremely tacky behaviour that just cost them some business because I will not be recommending the place or taking my friends anymore. The Parrot Bites.

Food was great until 2 giant cockroaches came running across the bar next to my plate on 2 different occasions. The server never apologized but instead asked why I was screaming. They also still charged me for my food. Horrible customer service.

Stay away from the margarita! Overpriced for what it is. The best part of the Blue Parrot Bar and Grill is that the bar is right next to the Four Ambassador's pool. It is convenient if you want to have a bunch of friends over and relax poolside. Sure the convenience is there, but I would actually even rather have my friends drink over at my place and then make our way to the pool. I had a margarita which cost me $13. And that was not even including tip. Often with friends I talk about value, and this place absolutely did not give bang for the buck. If you try to make it out to Blue Parrot, make sure you are here for the atmosphere and not for the food.

Maria A. hit this place right on the head! Located in the back outside area of the Four Ambassadors. After work one late afternoon a friend and I went over to check it out. They have a round bar with many tables with umbrella's outside. This entire bar is outside and the views are beautiful. Talk about a potential awesome place this so could be. All of the beer that they offer on tap is German beer. OK no problem but woah are the prices very steep. My friend and I had one beer each, an order of delicious fries and our bill was $20 something dollars before tip. Our bartender was walking around literally on her cell phone the entire 90 minutes or so that we were there. She barely spoke English as well, very hard time understanding her. Nor did she ever check on us. As we sat there we saw the small grill and food prep area behind the bar. Great set up, very clean which was quite impressive. The guy cooking was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. I have heard they offer great burgers but yet have tried one. Also, they do NOT take credit cards unless your tab is more than $20, so you better have cash. This could be such a hot spot with such gorgeous relaxing views. I would go here all the time if they offered better service and prices. Happy hour or something to entice people to come here. It's such a shame, it has so so much potential as Maria stated two years ago. I see not much has changed.

Right behind the Four Ambassadors in the pool area. Definitely fits the feel of the building. Totally feel like I'm in a Miami vice episode. Great view of the Brickell Bay.

Favorite after-work drinking spot. The bartenders are super nice and remember me by name. The food is amazing, beer is awesome. If I ever stop working in Brickell, I'll still work here. The only issue I have is the security at the condo its self. They complained because I had my dog with me. Mind you, my dog was laying down, sleeping, doing nothing. Yet they said "what if she pees or something." Sorry, we're not close enough to the pools for you to be walking barefoot, and even so, it's outside. But that's not about the Parrot. The Parrot is awesome.
