Finally tried aromas de Peru and what a disappointment with the service . Let's start by staying that the food was delicious , had the fish ceviche which was amazing !!!! The yuca a la alcaihna I didn't like, they were bland, For entree I had the filete en salsa de Mariaco, it was delicious, good portion to share between two. Now .... The service was terrible . We were seated for a while without being acknowledged. Our waitress was always in a rush, not taking the time to explain the dishes or the questions we had. We are not Peruvian, therefore a lot of dishes I had no idea what they entailed. Our food was spicy As requested, our waters were always empty , continuously having to ask and wait for water . We asked for hot sauce with our meal, she didn't bring it until after we were done . If not for the service this place would have earned a 4 stars . I would prob choose dr limon or el chalan next time

We ended up at this restaurant due to our favorite Peruvian spot being way too crowded, a costly mistake. It's a very crowded and noisy restaurant, not very comfortable. The servers all have secret service earpieces which make them seem unsociable and ridiculous. It seems like a high volume restaurant because the floors were very slick and slippery I imagine they don't get cleaned often. When you eat out as much as I do you tend to learn what the going rate of certain dishes are, you know when you're getting ripped off. From the moment I opened their menu I knew the prices are set for "tourist" although nowhere near any tourist attractions. Everything on the menu is overpriced! From the 4$ Chicha Morada to the 20$ Tallarin Verde. Although the portion of the Tarallin Verde was large it did not merit the exaggerated price. My "medium" requested steak was served "medium well" making it a pretty tough piece of steak. The Lomo Saltado was a normal portion and from what I was told wasn't bad. Lunch for two with a small dessert to go was over 60$ with no alcoholic beverages and no appetizers. Pretty ridiculous considering the food was mediocre at best. The service was nothing spectacular and the noise level was just short of ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL. I would not return.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Did I mention I love this place? The food is so good and the service is always on point. I love getting the ceviche to start and then my hubby and I each get our own lomo Saltado (don't judge). I skip the fries and get platano maduros...YUM. This last time I spotted deserts behind a window and decided to grab a cuatro leches to go because I was so stuffed and couldn't eat anymore. I had it the next morning, let's just say it's the best I've ever had. Absolutely amazing, I can't wait to go back.

First time here with some buddies and the food was excellent. I had a fried fish meal with onions and white rice. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not big but nicely decorated with a relaxed ambiance well at least during the lunch hours it was. They do serve a complimentary fried plantain chip with several sauces.

Went there on a Friday night, kinda late to be honest, around 10pm when they close at 11pm, I was expecting a bad experience because it was late, but it was just the opposite, from the moment we walked in we were welcomed by polite wait staff. They sat us right away. We started with two Cristals, followed by Yuca a la HuancaÃna, some delicious anticuchos and Lomo Saltado. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. No complaints at all. This is the second time ive felt like this place is trying to scam me. First time the waiter added gratuity on my bill and still circled "gratuity not included" at bottom of bill. This time, although the lomo saltado was good, the waiter argued with me about the temperature inside (my wife was hot because we were seated close to the to-go window) and he insisted that they have installed extra AC units (not working b/c it was still hot). Then the picarones were hard like stale bread- dont order them. Not enough staff- waited a long time for everything.

This is an amazing restaurant, a little out of the way, but worth the trip if you want to experience authentic Peruvian food. I always order Pescado a lo macho, which comes with a fish filet, shellfish (out of the shel), rice and this incredibly tasty cream sauce. The staff is really friendly and doesn't speak english too much, which makes you feel even more like in Peru. :)

I love me some Peruvian and this place did not disappoint. I had the Lomo Saltado along with the Chicha Morada. The yuca appetizer was OK, not great. Service was good and friendly. Sangria was good. I wish you could rate half stars, if so I'd give it 4.5 stars.

I like to stress how service is so important when it comes to an eatery. The food is good, but the service takes away from the good food. We were seated right away, and we weren't even asked if we wanted something to drink. 20 minutes later the waitress appears. We've been looking at her this whole time, and she takes our drink order. We ordered the ceviche frito en salsa tártara atigrada, and a pollo saltiado. My ceviche dish was a chef's twist on the traditional plate. It was lightly breaded and served on bed of onions with a lemon tartar sauce. It was very good! My wife had the pollo saltiado. The chicken was a little dry and the rest of the dish was just lacking flavor. Now the best part, dessert. We had a suspiro! It consist of dulce de leche with whip cream and cinnamon, along with a syrup. One word fire! Overall OK experience. The service is better in the Hammocks location.

This one is my favorite Peruvian spot in Kendall. The food is good, the servings are large, and even though I stuff myself I don't ever feel sick after. I've eaten in as well as ordered out plenty of times and their food is always consistent. The only con is that it is a bit pricey but I suppose they make up for it in the quality.

The is some of the freshest seafood in Miami!! It is a hole in the wall , but I was amazed . The food was awesome and the purple drink was delicious. I was shocked tag I drive by this place and I have never thought about going in. It was good.

Aromas del Peru is probably the most successful instance of the relatively rapid proliferation of Peruvian restaurants Miami has seen in the past few years. The success of this chain is well-deserved as the food is delicious and the wait-staff extremely professional and attentive. Indeed, Aromas del Peru probably has the best service of any Peruvian restaurant I've tried. The menu is a bit more expensive than I prefer to pay for Peruvian, but the food is quite authentic and the high quality services makes the slight increase in costs feel a bit more justified. I've been to two of its locations, the one on Kendall Drive and the one in the Hammocks. This is a great Peruvian chain. Definitely worth trying.

Horrible service. We were a party of 18 in Mother's Day. We waited for an hour and a half for our plates. Then plates came 10 minutes apart from each other!! Waiter was very disorganized , we kept asking for the same things over and over again such as water and coffee. We asked for the manager three times and all waiters said manager was not on site. I have sent a couple of emails to owner with no answer. Never again coming back.

AROMAS!! What is going on? You replaced warm bread with banana chips?! The leche de Tigre was on the verge of being inedible. Also, you forgot our ceviche, our silverware, and messed up the check?!?!! This is not like you.. Please tighten up or you will loose us forever.. Great Peruvian Food This place is a little whole in the wall and the parking lot is a little crazy so you might pass it by - doing so is a loss to yourself. We went for lunch, no reservations needed, we walked in and were promptly greeted and seated. The food was delicious. We were a party of four and everyone tried something different and it was all very good. The service was incredible. It was easier to understand the waiter, he knew the menu well. Offered great suggestions. The cost - very good pricing for the quality and amount of food you are given. Will definitely be back.

My favorite restaurant in Miami. The ceviche is beyond amazing. Bring your Spanglish skills cause sometimes it's hard to communicate with the mostly Spanish speaking staff but nothing smiles and patience won't overcome. But hey, it's Miami, it comes with the view. If you are a local be sure to check out their iPhone app that makes ordering to-go a snap! Two thumbs up. Love, love, love this place!

3.5 but I'll round up- mainly because I really like Peruvian food. Peruvians know how to do food right. Whether it is fish (raw or cooked) or meat, they usually do it right. Oh and they use a lot of potatoes...I like potatoes. The place isn't huge, but there was seating on a weekend afternoon for a quick lunch. Place is super clean - we were seated by the kitchen where the servers come out with the food. However this didn't mean the server would be on top of things - he took forever to even come over and offer us water, then left and took even longer to return to take our order. We were hungry. We stayed. Of course through out the meal I had an empty glass the entire time....a bit frustrating to get his attention when he is no where to be found. So, the food: We started with tuna causa. It was great, some of the best we have had. Not too full of cream like other places - which I usually like - but, it was a little drier and for some reason that really made the flavors come alive more. The ceviche was alright. They have those huge corn kernels that I love. Could of used a little more sweet potato on the side, that would of been good. Lomo saltado - I usually get this everywhere I go and this one was at about average compared to other places. They fries were crispy on the top and the bottom was completely soggy. I love that about this dish - how it has a good mix of crispy/soggy. Most places just have no sauce, or too much sauce. The meat was ok, but a little salty - and being a big fan of salt, that says a lot. Overall the service sucked, but the food is solid. Maybe we didn't enjoy it as much as we should have because we always had to keep a look out for the waiter, in hopes he would pass by. We will give it another go though and see if anything gets better.

I was running errands in the shopping center where this place is at so decided to order a ceviche to go from that little cafe window they have. The ceviche was okay.. Nothing memorable. There's literally another Peruvian restaurant in the same shopping center. In Kendall you could find one every two miles you drive - no joke. So considering all my options, this place was mediocre. Might I add that I paid $17 for this less than memorable dish. I've seen more expensive ceviches with fabulous fusions and add ons but this definitely wasn't cheap.

I've never been to a Peruvian restaurant but the food was excellent. I had Churrasco al lo pobre which was skirt steak with eggs, fried sweet plantains, white rice, and fries. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium because most cooks will dry out a good steak if it's cooked well done. The seasoning on the steak was superb and it was so moist that I wished that I had room for another one. This was priced at $18.95 but to me it was worth it.

From the beginning to end, this place did not fail us once. The food is DELICIOUS and as authentic as can be. We started with the Aromas Ceviche Tres Ajies appetizer giving us 3 different flavors of their ceviches, my fave being the Aji Amorilla. We also had the Yuca a la Huancaina, which I thought the huancaina sauce was thicker than I've normally had but I liked it 10x more. Great quality and fair prices. You get more than what you pay for. The menu has quite a variety which I was surprised to see. I was expecting to see your typical Latin dishes, but I really felt the authentic Peruvian culture while having dinner at Aromas. We tried a few things while we were there and everything was great! Churrasco -was cooked PERFECTLY, with just the right amount of chimichurri on top. Ceviche- was made to order(the real way you make ceviche) it had its lemon flavor, however didn't overpower the seasoning and the flavor of the fish Tostones- sadly there is a way to mess up tostones, but Aromas made them just right which impressed me! Our server Joseph was polite and knowledgeable. He really was proud to please us and show off his Peruvian cuisine. I thought he was an owner to be honest. Gratuity is included so make sure you look at your bill. The only bad to say about this place is there were a few flies around, don't know if it was because the door was being opened constantly from all the customers. If you are in the Kendall area definitely visit Aromas. I will be returning soon :0)

Had the seco de Cabrito (lamb stew) and it was DELICIOUS. The sauce was kind of salty but the white kidney beans in it's sauce almost balanced it out. The lamb was delicious and I ordered green plantains on the side to dip into the sauce and it was soooo worth the 2.75$ extra. The portion was HUGE but it was also a 20$ plate so I was happy. My parents ordered a ceviche and the fish was fresh in a delicious sauce. My sister ordered the mariscos saltado but the fish wasn't that good.

Its really a 3.5, but I felt like rounding up. As soon as we walked in we were seated. Yay for no wait time! However, the server was not very attentive and took forever to come and take our order. We ordered 3 appetizers, and we were starving. They brought the appetizers out in phases, which I was not too pleased about. I like having different flavors to munch on at the same time, but our server would not bring out the appetizers until we were done with the previous one. The food was good, some things I liked better than others. I really enjoyed their tuna cause and will probably go back JUST for that.

The new Aromas Brasa that is right next to this establishment is really not great at all! I ordered 1/2 a chicken to go and when I got home the chicken was cold. The food looks like it is cooked in the morning and left all afternoon. I guess they do not have many customers come in so they serve you what has been resting there the whole day. I had major food poisoning from this place! BE CAREFUL!

Place was packed with very nice sized portioned plates all around. We drank the sangria which comes in a carafe with dry ice making it smoke as well as nice and cold aside from being fruit filled. I asked about the ceviche and what fish they use, they use swai but offered to use corvina in the ceviche instead. The mixed ceviche was a grandslam (I got it with corvina of course). We decided to share the tacu tacu with spicy shrimp, it was sooo good! Overall, I wish I had room for more but portions were quite filling. I will be back if I'm in the area or I'm close to one of their other locations. Service was on point too!

Yesterday I had a late lunch/early dinner at Aromas .... That equaled a mid day food coma. I started with the Sopa Criolla. The soup wad a meal in itself. HUGE! It was a spicy meat soup with noodles, dash of milk reminded me if a Thai Tom Ka Gai) really deelish. The Caufa De Polla was next .... This Chicken Fried Rice was HUGE also I tasted it and brought it home. All good. The Flan we had for dessert was super creamy. Can't miss at Aromas!

Didn't have lunch or dinner but I was recommended to pick up a bowl of their chicken soup. The soup was full of flavor and provisions. Plentiful potatoes, carrots, onions and noodles. Would I have it again? Heck yea!! The downside was that their was a $10 minimum to use a credit card/debit card. I never carry cash so that was an issue. The hostess was kind enough to waive that rule and she accepted my debit card. The ambiance inside was dimly lit. It Looked clean and the setup wasn't too bad. I'll be having lunch there one day so I'll follow up with another review.

Went yesterday to the calle 8 location. Although the food is good, it is pricey. Most importantly, the service is bad, rude waiters and waitresses. In addition, the parking attendant (there is a relatively small area to park your car) is useless, unhelpful and rude as well. Never again.

After searching for a good peruvian restaurant that served ceviche, we finally found Aromas Del Peru. We love their mixto ceviche and the regular fish ceviche. We usually order it medium spicy but I'm thinking I want to be more brave next time and order it spicy. The restaurant is very small and popular so it fills up quickly for dinner and on weekends. I highly recommend that you call ahead and make a reservation. We like to order take out and eat it at home. Their portions are HUGE! I rarely ever finish my meal. The Lomo Saltaldo is also very good. All of their dishes are fairly priced and portions are very large. My fiance and I usually share a ceviche for appetizer and then share one Lomo Saltaldo for our entree. I also highly recommend their bubbling house white wine sangria. It bubbles because they add dried ice. It's so cool, very entertaining and DELICIOUS! They also serve little bread rolls while you are waiting for your meal, and it comes with a delicious spicy green sauce. I have no idea what it's called but it's amazing. The bread rolls and sauce are addicting, and unfortunately they are not unlimited. I'm so glad we found this place in Kendall because there aren't very many peruvian restaurants around. Next we're going to try their location in the Hammocks because I hear the ambiance is even better there.

Ceviche craving totally satisfied! This place is small, and perfect. I have driven by it millions of times and finally went for lunch with a dear friend to check it out. I had the ceviche mixto, shrimp causa and this light egg white yummy dessert which I cannot recall the name of (fail). The server was very helpful with our selections including a very refreshing cusquena beer which I had never tried before but he was indeed on point. We shared the shrimp causa which was oh so delish! Perfect bite, fresh shrimp, and smooth potatoes.The ceviche had shrimp, fish, octopus, squid...plenty of tart lemon juice, and it was just friggin awesome! Def going back there again.

The grilled octopus with aji Amarillo Rissoto is to die for , shrimp cocktail is great diced shimp with diced potato in a pick sauce... One word ... Delish! Ok this is going to be a hard review. The food here is amazing, the best Peruvian food in Miami in my opinion but the service is effing HORRIBLE ! This restaurant could be a perfect 5 but on more than 3 occasions I've been cursed with the same horrible waiter. He was inattentive, wayyy too cocky (come on you're a server), and was flirting with another server the entire time instead of catering to us ! And to be honest, I'm usually very passive when it comes to service because food taste & quality is much more important to me but DAMN this guy was super pesado ! I'm going to try their new location in the Hammocks anyway but I just had to vent !

The food is awesome!!!! However, the service at this location isn't. I prefer the one in the hammocks shopping center. Lomo saltado is what I always order. I tend to order the same dish upon every visit when I find that ONE that I love! I went with a friend that is Peruvian, she recommended, I ordered and that is my go to dish :)

I hesitated going to Aromas because of the multiple negative reviews regarding service but took a chance because of the positive comments on the food. Let me say that the food is excellent. Fresh, tasty, abundant and fairly priced. As for the service; we were waited on quickly and politely. It was a great overall experience and I will definitely be back.

Came here with my mom actually, since we wanted some awesome Peruvian food. We've come here a couple times and it's always great. We're from Peru, so we know REAL Peruvian food, and this is definitely it. The place is a bit pricey, but as rare as good peruvian food is, I'm not judging on that here. We got a Jalea Mixta and a plate of Arroz Chaufa, and it was a TON of food, we didn't even get close to finishing it! The Jalea was a huge pile of several kinds of seafood, among them squid, fish, choros, octopus, and below were onion and tomatoes while above it had onions drenched in lemon which made it all the better, and the tartar sauce on the side if that wasn't enough. Meanwhile, the arroz chaufa was a tower of rice with a good amount of chicken and beef, and challots and bits of egg and everything else it should have.... tasty.

So my wife and I were in the mood for some good Peruvian food and after visiting this place we are still in search of some good Peruvian food. So where to start first we got to our table and had flies around our table and the ones around us. Service was ok not great just passable lets say. We ordered a Shrimp ceviche which was actually really good. the sweet potato they add on the plate gives it a twist, I had a fish filet which was ok no real flavor added just plain grilled fish so wasn't impressed at all with that. my wife had lomo saltado which was just not good, no flavor whatsoever just plain didn't taste like anything it came with rice and they added a whole lot of fries to fill the plate up which was a turn off to me because they were trying to trick the eye with the fries to make it look like you are getting a lot more than you are. Don't think we will be returning here anytime soon, so we are still in search of some good Peruvian food.

The Peruvian dishes here are really amazing! My family and I shared a jalea in replacement of an app. It could have had a little more lemon flavor. Later, I had the tacu tacu with breaded steak and the serving was huge! (As per usual for a Hispanic restaurant) but it was really delicious. The whole family was raving. It's going to be hard eating Peruvian food after experiencing Dr. Limon and I have yet to find a place that compares. Sadly this place did not live up to my expectations. The occasion: parent's anniversary dinner The setting: this restaurant who's decor is great and the way they serve dishes is pleasing to the eye but that's where it ends The dishes: Beef Chaufa, Jalea Mixta and a fish dish whose name I cannot recall The verdict: The Chaufa's rice was way too hard and I understand that there is going to be a certain level of grease for the Chaufa but this was too much. The Jalea Mixta looked huge but they only provide a certain number of each item (2 Mussels, 3 shrimps etc.) and they make it look huge piling on the onion salad on top. Not impressed. The fish was the only thing that was deemed worth it. I won't be coming here again even if the service was good. It's a shame. Maybe it's because we came too late and close to closing time? But that should never be an excuse for the mediocre food experience.

Came to this restaurant last night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Every single thing we ordered was absolute perfection. Started with the Sangria, which has a white wine base and was visually appealing because they put a piece of dry ice inside. LOADED with grapes, red apple slices etc. It was great. Then we got an appetizer that our server recommended: a cooked avocado with some sort of shrimp mixture as a filling and tostones. If I could have eaten this whole thing alone, I would have. It was perfection on a plate. There is no other way to describe it. I ordered the Tacu Tacu with Chicken and others ordered the Ceviche Mixto, the Seafood Paella and some sort of grilled fish. All platters were HUGE, we each had enough for the following day's lunch (which I am eating as I write this). We ordered a merengue with a carmel glaze also recommended by the server. It was light and hit the spot. The service was great. I drink a lot of water, and my cup was never empty (which was great because the yellow and green aji sauces which I couldn't get enough of have a kick!) Our server had excellent recommendations and came to check on us frequently. I look forward to going back!

I LOVE Peruvian food!! I've probably eaten at 4 different Peruvian restaurants in Miami and by far this is my favorite. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get that visit but the food is always excellent! The Papas a la Huancaina is excellent! The Lomo Saltado is perfection! The Tacu Tacu con Churrasco is amazing! Most entrees are shareable and though we usually share the appetizer above, I definitely could tackle it by myself and find myself wanting to stab my fellow diners in the hand with my fork when they are "sharing" with me;) Next I will order the Jalea de Mariscos and/ or the Cebiche!

I have a secret obsession with Peruvian food. Over the last couple of years Peruvian restaurants have been popping up all over Miami. The problem is a lot of them sell the same things and not rare Peruvian dishes. This place has a great mix of both and their prices are decent. If you like Peruvian food hit this spot up and come with an empty stomach. Best thing I've had there so far is the Concha Negra Ceviche (Black Conch Ceviche). So far, I think that this is the only place in Miami where you can find this dish. The full fried snapper is pretty damn good too. Make sure to eat the eyeball it's the best part. It's like an oil ball of goodness waiting to pop in your mouth (pause).

Great restaurant. Papas a la huancaina are amazing. Ceviche is perfect, for lack of a better word. The wait staff is very friendly and professional and the prices are reasonable. I am a repeat customer, and love the food. I do wish they had a bar...but thats being picky.

I was introduced to this small local Peruvian restaurant by a co-worker and I have eaten here more than 4 times in one month. I've always only done take-out here and their take-out service is very easy and pleasant. The orders are always accurate and properly prepared. (I tend to think in general, food is prepared better when dining in). -- As far as the food, its great. Portions are large and some entrees can be shared among many people. The ceviche is VERY tasty. I always have the ceviche with marisco and pescado and never tire of it. The passion fruit (maracuya) dessert is also a must try- very refreshing. I would recommend this restaurant if are in the mood for some ceviche!

This place is great: food & service, but here is where YMMV(Your Mileage May Vary). I am writing this after I have been served my appetizer after my meal and am yet to see the server since. Mind you there are two servers working and only 3 tables. Its 4:45p on a Wednesday. This place with great reviews and great food may not see me again. Our bill is usually $150 here when we come. This makes it our last. Not because of anything but the risk of ending up with the same server. If you are the owner, let us know when she is no longer working & we might give it another shot. Btw, choking on my food here, she hasn't come by once to see if we need refills on our drinks & we're done w/ our meal! Oh-here comes Monica G. to ask if we want check and didn't offer dessert. I came here the other night with my coworker and her husband. They wanted to treat me to dinner and I've honestly never even seen this place before. Funny because my dad used to work at the Check Cashing USA place right next door. Whoops. Anyway, we had the ceviche mixto, the lomo saltado and another dish that was pretty much fried shrimp, calamari and fish. All of it was so freakin' good. I couldn't believe how good all of it was. I'm definitely bringing my "pescatarian" boyfriend here!

I like this place. I grew up eating Las Totoritas for lunch and it made me fall in love with Peruvian food. This place has big impressive portions, good seafood in their dishes (cherry stone clam, whole crab, conch, octopus, and cuttlefish) as opposed to the frozen "mixed seafood" las Totoritas uses in most of their dishes. I'm not trying to talk ish about LT, I LOVE IT and the prices are right but this place is a notch above. The Jalea Mixta (fried seafood) was so well fried. It was light and not oily at all. I can appreciate a nice piece of fried fish and soft calamari rings. It also has great service. This place is great.

After a couple of hours of fighting and indecisiveness me and my friend wanted to try a different Latin restaurant instead of the status quo of la carreta, sergios and etc.. So first and foremost the restaurant in my opinion is small and feels cramped, which literally you could hear the people to to left, right, front and back all there personal stories, fights, and dislikes.. which I find it a bit uncomfortable. If you wanna talk privately or about something serious you'll literally have to lower your voice to talk. Second, we had to share our table with other guests which was another uncomfortableness.. I mean i would expect this from Shortys BBQ but not from a place like this, you can tell myself and the other people felt uncomfortable. Third did I mention it's a cramped place.... well im going to mention it again it was cramped as hell and having the waiters and waitresses would constantly bump into you. Fourth the waitress took about 10 minutes no exaggeration to take our order, it was packed but the place is only so big and there were 4 waiters so the ratio was good so no excuse on her part. The good news the food was brought out pretty quick which was amazing, I figured it was going to take forever but nope. The food (i added picture) was amazing ... I really enjoyed it and especially I RECOMMEND for appetizer PAPA A LA HUANCAINA i hope i spelled it right... but yea the cream is awesome. After eating it took us about another 10-15 minutes to have our waitress check us out, but of course to no avail we had to bug other servers to attend to us. I would give this place 4 stars if it wasn't for poor service that I experienced yesterday. But I'm not going to be biased, "every dog has his day" so I will come back to the restaurant and re-update if there is a big improvement. Other than that I do recommend this place the food is GOOD GOOD GOOD.

If there were a way to leave ZERO stars, I would have done so. I live in kendall, and ADORE the Aromas del Peru location on 8th street. We tried the kendall location once and it was not good; every time we order we drive all the way to the 8th street location. Tonight we thought we'd give the kendall location another chance...big mistake. I called the first time and was told the system was down and that there were several people in line, so I'd have to wait a bit to order. A "bit" ended up being ten minutes. When someone finally picked up the phone, she told me to call back in ten minutes. I did just that and was on hold for 5 more minutes before they HUNG UP ON ME. I called again, and again I was put on hold and again they hung up on me. When I called back to speak to the manager, I was placed on hold. I kept calling and finally was told that the manager, MIRENA, was too busy to speak with me. When I tried to vent my frustrations to the lady on the phone she repeatedly interrupted me and told me that none of it was their fault. I am going to call tomorrow and speak to someone. Needless to say, we will never again even consider buying from this location. The owners are the same for all locations, but this one definitely needs some attention or it needs to close.

Service is not the best. Overall, food has a good flavor; risotto was delish..ceviche on the other hand, very salty... Ordered the lomo salteado once, got it with soggy fries, sent it back for new ones and received the same ones refried (had taken a bite out of one from the first batch and got it back on the "new" fries...) If youre craving ceviche, go somewhere else.

So I spent a lot of time reading others reviews about this place before deciding to eat there. It was nice that I knew going in that 15% gratuity is included and the portions are big enough for two. So I knew I would order at least an appetizer and entree. I ordered the causa de camarones and choclo peruano for appetizers. The causa was good, but i've had better. it was lacking a little on the amount of shrimp inside considering it was $10. The choclo was good. My boyfriend and I shared the lomo and I would hav e to say it was probably the best and most flavorful i've ever had. Definitely worth $10.99. Would I go back? sure!!! it was an overall good experience :)

This little gem, hidden out in West Kendall has become a frequent date night hotspot for the wife and I. You'll find it in a somewhat run down shopping center with the likes of Petsmart, KMart, El Dorado Furniture, Check Cash USA, etc. Previously mentioned Wife turned me onto this place some time ago and thankfully she speaks español because on occasion we get non-english speaking servers. That's alright with me, but I know that is a turn-off to a few folks. English speaking or not, the staff has always been very friendly and helpful, although, I suspect that might be because for the longest time I hadn't noticed that gratuity was included and I always tipped another 20% *on-top* of that. Hey! I was new to Miami and no one told me that they like to include gratuity here! We typically get the papas al la huancaina to start. That Peruvian green sauce they serve with it, made of jalapeños, garlic, and cilantro, gets the rectum fired up and ready for the next course. For the main course we get two types of ceviche which I have to say meets the perfect ratio of price:quality. It's some of the *best* ceviche I've had in Miami (though I've yet to try the amazing Cvi.che105 downtown). After we share a rockin' order of ceviche mariscos (mussels, clams, squid, shrimp) and ceviche pescado (fish) muy, muy, *MUY* picante, we are SET! There's nothing like walking out of a restaurant with the sniffles and sizzling lips thanks to our loyal friend, capsaicin. If you're looking for quality Peruvian ceviche without breaking the bank, Aromas Del Peru has you covered. What's Good: - Ceviche - Papas al la huancaina - Spicy green sauce! - I recently discovered that they deliver! AWESOME-SAUCE! Had a delicious Churrasco con tacu tacu last night. The Churrasco sat on top of tacu tacu and was topped with thinly cut onions. Very nice and tasty. This all went down with a Cusqueña beer. Aromas del Peru is one my favorite restaurants, but I think it's expensive. The portions are big and can be shared.

This place was recommended to me by my Peruvian BFF. Who else would know better about ceviche, papas a la huancaina, or lomo saltado than a Peruvian? Indeed I followed her recommendation and went for it. The menu is flooded by seafood: octopus, fish, clams, squid, mussels, shrimp, just to mention a few. They also have a nice selection of steak, chicken and salads. As we were reviewing the menu we noticed how generous all the dishes were so we decided to share both an appetizer and an entree. To start we went for the mix ceviche mildly spicy. OMG- how amazing that was! It was literally a little mountain of seafood over a bed of lettuce, topped with finely chopped red onions and served with sweet potatoes and corn. Seafood was fresh, the spice to it was just right and the onions just gave it the perfect finishing touch. The sweat potato and the corn were the perfect companion to ease out the spiciness... just right! For entree we ordered the mix paella. Thank God we decided to share! the serving was enough for 3-4 light eaters. The rice was moist and flavor full, and the seafood was cooked to perfection, not over or under cooked. Perfect place for a simple date, for celebrations or just because!

I try to hit this place every time I'm in Miami. It's a quaint Peruvian restaurant that serves huge portions for a reasonable price. I usually opt for the Bistec a lo Pobre and a glass of jugo de maracuya to wash it down, but I also recommend the Arroz Chaufa and the Papas a la Huancaina to share. As I mentioned, the portion sizes are huge, so you will more than likely bring leftovers home. Note that the restaurant is kinda of hidden, as it is located in the middle of a strip mall, right next to Marino's Pizza.

This is possibly one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always good, service is good and the price doesnt hurt your wallet either. It is a little more than el Tambo grill, but I'm never dissappointed. That being said there are some things that I get at Tambo that I don't get at aromas such as anticuchos. But other than that the food is fantastic. From start to finish you won't be disappointed. And be sure to finish off with a cafe con leche, it's a nice finish to an excellent experience.

I started going to this place a few years ago and I fell in love with Peruvian food! I frequent quite often this location and the one in Kendall. While from the outside the restaurant doesn't look that appealing, the place is clean and the food is awesome. The prices are reasonable and they serve you so much food that you often have to take home a doggy bag. The ceviche is good, the causa is delicious, chicha is delicious, everything and anything you order is good. The waiters are attentive.

My wife brought me here for Father's Day. The place was packed, yet they served pretty fast for a crowded place. We ordered a Jalea mixta (which is fried seafood - like fried calamari) AMAZING!, then we had a ceviche mixto which was out of this world and the kids ate spaghettis with green sauce. I have to admit that unless you try it, you have been eating bland. We are going again this wknd, even though we drove like 18 miles to get here ... totally WORTH it!

A friend suggested we go to this place. I heard about it from the other location on Calle 8 so I gave it a try. I had to between 5 to 10 min for a waiter to notice my presence....Once they did, everything changed. We ordered Causa de Atun ( it is smashed potato with tuna, hard to describe but it is a delicious plate) as an appetizer followed by Arroz Chaufa ( fried rice Peruvian style) for my friend and Aji de Gallina (this is an Aji amarillo based cream with shredded chicken and potatoes) for me. For drinks I had Chicha morada which was delicious. Both of the entrees were ok, not to die for but they were well served. for dessert we had Torta de chocolate which was really good. Overall, we had a good time.

My first time at this restaurant my guests insisted in going there, the food was ok and the partitions not as generous as I was told they will be the service needs improvement a bit slow on the response and the smell of the fried food coming from the kitchen did not let me enjoy my experience. Being from the sf bay area I was expecting a more enjoyable experience and more than just a plate of over condimented food...needs improvement.

my recomendation is to come and eat here because the food is peruan and its sooo good theonly thing that i don't like is that resturants are pretty small so it gets pretty crowed to even be able to eat here but its so worth it. lomo saltado is my favorite dish. and it expensive but well worth it.

The Jalea is out of this world. A word of advice, one order of jalea is more than enough for two people!!! The ceviche is very good as well.
