Got a coupon for Free Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity for my birthday. Asked for this, and the woman in broken English told me this item wasn't on the menu. I showed her that on the coupon it said I could substitute it for an item of equal or lesser value. She kept telling me No, I couldn't. She asked the manager and they started talking in Spanish and looking at me like I was some kind of scam artist. They didn't honor the coupon in the end and both gave me attitude so I left. In addition to this incident I live in the area and get the local paper, the River Cities Gazette. In the police blotter section they ALWAYS mention car burglaries that occur in the parking lot of this IHOP. So If you want bad service and your car broken into go to this IHOP. Otherwise go anywhere else!!

Flew into Miami airport late and had dinner here. Stayed with staples menu items of fried chicken, hamburger, salad, quasidillas, cheese sticks. All items came out hot. Service was very good with few customers at this late hour. Relatively clean tables. Okay to eat here. Maybe not good during crowded hours as there seem to be only one cook and two waitresses
I was expecting the worse after reading all the negative reviews. Still, we wanted to eat IHOP pancakes before leaving the country. Well folks, I have only good words for this place! Service was friendly, prompt and professional. Our waitress Nancy was very sweet. The food (breakfast) was good too (keep in mind it's a chain). It's clean and well run. And I love their pancakes!

What. Just. Happened. I wish I could rate this place with negative stars. It was completely awful from beginning to end. Service was horrid, the servers didn't know anything about the menu. We asked for the kids meal that includes a pancake or waffle and a choice of topping and two different servers told us that our 2 year old could have either a waffle OR a banana - not both.. What? This was only one of the many downfalls from our breakfast today. I don't have one positive thing to say about this IHOP other than at least we have something to laugh about now.. I really thought we were being punked!

My family and I have come here a lot for the breakfasts. The service is not the best but the breakfast is good. Last Sunday I ate there with my family and the lady who server is was horrible. The worst service ever. To top it off she had the nerve to write on my receipt "tip is 15%. 15% plus total equal amount due" and she circled it in HUGE circle. I was in shock. I reported it to the manager but did not leave her 15%...

I stopped in with a friend late at night after checking in at a nearby hotel. The food was average, the same as any other IHOP. The prices were reasonable and the food came out in an average time frame. The service was terrible. We hardly saw the waitress, which was odd since there was only one other table with people and the remainder of the restaurant was empty. The waitress spoke a few words of broken English and it was almost impossible to communicate. She came around to take our orders, deliver the drinks / take our food order at the same time, and to deliver the food. Later on, she dropped the bill on the table while passing by en route to the other table. There was another waitress sitting around and she kept watching us. She seemed annoyed that we were there...we were probably interrupting her nap time. The service was terrible. The quality of the food was average. If you're in the area late at night when everyplace else is closed, this place is still feasible as long as you don't mind rudeness and being ignored. At least the food came out hot.

Came here on a busy Saturday night; well, about midnight. The service is not as bad as every other review makes it seem. I was taken care of quickly, friendly and with a smile. The food was what you can expect, bland, needed salt but decent as a late night breakfast for dinner. Something to fill up your stomach as you crave a sweet french toast with strawberries. Not a place I would always crave but great for a late night bite!

This review is really important to me. I went to this Ihop for first time to grab a quick snack with my kids, staff in this place is like family.Since we arrived they welcomed us with a big smile, like it was 12 Noon when it was 11:00pm. Attention was super fast, everything that we order was yummy and excellent quality. The waitress was super nice and friendly all the time. My son left the phone there and we realized of this at 1:49 am, we went there and they have it!!!!! Really honest people and they saved my day, these days we struggle with money and we went there with only $40 bucks, and I did it because my little son help me so much and I was so grateful with him because he always is helping me in everything!!! He is like an angel that always is pushing me foward!! I just have more faith today because of the people of this Ihop location!!! THANK YOU GUYS, is really rewarding knowing that the world still have human beings like you!!!!!

Place was small and run down. Staff were all of Two Rooty Jr plates for my girls and then something for the hubby and I. After the LONG wait for food we received the girls food with just TWO small strawberries, no syrup, no whip cream. When we asked why such the small amount of strawberries we were advised they come in a small cup and we can get more for an additional price. We then told her NO and asked for her name. Though she offered it I guess she was afraid we would ask for her manager because she quickly came back with a cup of strawberries. The SAME cup they normally come in which holds a good 10 strawberries and compote. Aside from the lack of strawberries, my husband's pancakes came out half and deformed, the server never brought us silverware, never refilled our drinks and to top it off was rude.

Always come here, when I have a taste for pancakes since it's located near my home. Saw the advertising of the double crunch French toast last night. Came in and I was greeted and asked where would I like to be seated? I told the server at the counter is fine. I ordered the double crunch French toast, with eggs over medium, hash browns, bacon and sausages. I received the plate with the sides first, I notice was over cooked, but I didn't return it. I also ordered their seasonal Watermelon Lemonade. I received the lemonade all full of seeds, which I've ordered from other Ihops and it's not the same situation. I finally received the infamous double crunch French Toast with cinnamon and it tasted atrocious. The server was paying attention to my facial expressions and asked me if I wanted to order the regular French Toast. I advised my server that it was ok. My French Toast came and it was way better than the previous served. I was upset, because by that time I was not really hungry. I feel service could've been a little better.

I haven't had pancakes at IHOP since I was a little kid, so of course my spouse and I went for dinner while overnighting near the airport. It's a diner with breakfast, lunch and dinner items, only two of which are under 600 calories, something I find amusing, but not so surprising. The hot chocolate is about 6 ounces for $2.69, so tiny to me, but tasted excellent. The waitress was really friendly, spoke English with an accent, but clear and easy to understand. She did hesitate doing a substitute for the Fit Blueberry, egg white and turkey bacon option. I wanted just to sub the bacon and eggs for one more pancake, but she wasn't sure she could do it. Finally decided I could, and ended up giving me 2 more. These pancakes are made from a heavier, dense pancake mix, which means that two is fine 3 is a lot and 4 is too many, I ended up eating 3. The blueberries are baked in which I like better than just put on top. My spouse had a Club sandwich which he rated 4 star, with good fries, nice turkey meat that was moist and real turkey instead of sliced deli meat. Overall good diner food, no complaints except for tiny hot chocolate. Price was $23 before tip.

I had a horrendous experience at this IHOP. First off, our waitress did not speak English very well so she got our orders wrong multiple times. She brought my friend the wrong order, and then the wrong order a second time so she just dealt with it. I called various waiters multiple times and they all ignored me. They just looked at me then looked away. Needless to say, the staff here do not care about about you or your food. Food was okay... It was very bland and tasteless but I didn't expect anything more from an IHOP. My omelet was overcooked. The coffee was on average better than most American coffees that I've tried but still tastes mostly like water. I would highly recommend against eating at this location.

So I've been here a few times before for mediocre, cheap food and poor service, but I'm going to write a review on what happened last night. What better way to end a night than with coffee, pancakes, and crepes? My 3 friends and I came to this IHOP and were seated. The 2 boys I was with started to build towers with the half and half while waiting. My other friend and I reviewed some pictures we took...we had yet to be asked if we even wanted water. Now, I'm not the patient type, so I gave it 5 more minutes considering there were 4 servers...and 6 tables I probably shouldn't have even given them that. Two waitresses saw me signaling them over, looked at me, and did not come. A waitress came to the table behind us, gave them extra water and when I asked her to come she said "Give me a minute." So I gave her exactly one minute before I got up and left. My friend overheard them saying that they hadn't seen our table.....in an empty restaurant..while my friend was dressed as a hooker and I was dressed as Minnie Mouse...yeah....sure. Go to Denny's or another IHOP instead. This place is ridiculous.

A lunch time favorite for a couple of my coworkers and I. Every one has to admit that breakfast in the middle of the day is a treat from time to time. I always order the sampler, French toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs and coffee. Rather filling but soooo good. My friends Aleah's order the healthy vegetarian omelets which they enjoy, and go back to each time. They also order the whole wheat pancakes which I have not tried but which they claim are very tasty. That might have a bit to do with the multitude of flavored syrup options on the table: strawberry, pecan, maple, original, oh so tasty. I always remember the Ihops of my youth being dirty, but this place is rather clean. The dinning area is casual and comfortable, you can see how clan the kitchen is because it is an open one. The bathrooms are also spotless. A special note that the waitstaff is always prompt and friendly.

This was the worst place I have ever ever ever been to!!!!! We should have left the moment we walked in but having just arrived off of a late flight and going through an hour long ordeal to get the rental car (also traveling with a cranky two year old) we needed food ASAP. The hostess refused to seat us because of where we wanted to sit so she tossed our menus at us and we had to seat ourselves. Then we ordered philly cheesesteaks and were told they were all out. So we ordered sirloin tipd and eggs and a bacon cheeseburger no mayo. My burger arrives with mayo and the ghetto server, Dominique, had already disappeared so it took 10 minutes to get her back to the table. She takes the plate and returns with it 3 minutes later and disappears again, I inspect my burger and find it to be the same one I sent back with the mayo wiped off! Ugh, disgusting! (and what did they use to wipe it off?) It takes about 10 minutes to get Dominique's attention again and she takes the plate and yells at the cook to make a new burger. Meanwhile my fiance is eating his food and I am starving. I get a new sandwich, I am not sure that I even want to eat it and I darn sure don't want to pay for it. So I ask Dominique will I have to pay for it and she asks me "Why? What's wrong NOW??" This chick is unbelieveable! So I very calmly give her all the reasons why I shouldn't have to pay. She grabs the plate and consults the hostess who we will refer to as "Ghetto BoQuisha" cuz I don't know her name, and between the two of them they decide I don't deserve to eat and throw my food away. No manager ever comes out and it takes several phone calls to Corporate and a few days wait to find out, there is no manager on duty for the third shift, which explains a lot. The service was totally unacceptable and if I could give this place a negative 5 rating I would. This was my first visit to Miami and I wanted to turn around and fly back home on the first thing smoking!!!! I am also going to review the Thrifty/Dollar rental car place and the roach infested Airway Inn we had to spend the first night at. Nevertheless, the trip got better after the first twelve hours or so, so I will have some positive reviews concerning the rest of our stay in South Beach.

Read the past reviews and I came anyway. The food is the same as any other IHOP I've been to so it was delicious (country omelette). The service was also good. My food came to me in less than 5 min. I would recommend for people who like IHOP food and prices.

We place the order and have to be somewhat creative when asking about things. My husband wanted to know what kind of hot sauce they had available and the servers response was uh, sauce???? You could tell by the look on her face she had no idea what he was asking about so he got creative and finally they were able to hash out what hot sauce was available. Overall the service was great and the food was just as good as any other IHOP we have been to in the country.

A late night breakfast run in Miami. So good to get eggs from the shell (I've never asked for this at IHOP but my friend did so I followed). The coffee was good, you could tell they had some good cooks in the back, which was confirmed when the lady came from the kitchen looking like a southern grandma, I knew she was throwing down back there. Our server was really cool for 3 am and was there anytime our coffee got low. She even cracked a few jokes.

Overall the service was great and the food was just as good as any other IHOP we have been to in the country.

Terrible service. The host was rude and seemed very unhappy but it shouldn't be directed towards the guest. Do not come here!!
