Bad doesnt say enough. Low quality, poorly prepared and the worst service of any place i have been to. Nothing to do with the Miramar location which is quite good.

Great donuts, just takes to long to cook! Food is great prices are a little pricey but it's okay

Good food, terrible service. The service at this location is just plain rude. The staff are rude, not willing to return a smile or help you choose your food. Not even willing to bring your order - or take your new order for more food or drink. You must come here prepared. Not to eat, but to get the worst kind of service you ever had. Even BK offers better service than this place.

Good sushi and red curry. My gf and I order from here often but we always stick to the same dishes. Good tom yum soups as well. I think the reviews for this place are a little harsh. It's not a 5 star place but it's a good option in the area. The service is alright.

MEDIOCRE. I went with a good friend of mine to try something new and we were kind of disappointed! First we ordered hand krab rolls which were unbearable but thats just us. Then we ordered some chicken with rice which actually was pretty good. All in all the food and service wast just ok. Our waitress was slightly unpleasant and never came out to refill our water. I would go there once for a new(nothing else to do) experience and call it a "One and Done"(not go back)

This place has some serious identity issues. I have worked near this establishment for about 6 years and I believe it has been about 4 or 5 different restaurants/bars. It is a bit worrisome that it changes so frequently. At the present moment in time, it is Silverspoon Thai and Sushi. There is a waiter there that I have seen SEVERAL ladies ask to be seated in his section. I don't know his name but he looks dominican (?). Anywho, I have to admit the Pad Thai is FRIGGEN DELICIOUS!!! The sauce isn't overdone, the noodles are delicious, it is just all around YUM!! It is SO good that I have had it the last 3 times I have been there. During lunch you usually see the typical suits that work in the surrounding buildings. If you want to have a casual lunch with coworkers, this is a great place! But please don't take a client there for a business meeting, as this place just doesn't have that kind of vibe. One awkward thing I noticed is that one of the waiter wears gloves (Great!) but he never CHANGES the gloves. I even saw him handle CASH with the gloves on and kept those same gloves on (EW!). Also, he seemed to be disorganized and took him a while just to get our drink orders, but I have to admit this was the first time it happened. The lunch menu portions are fantastic. VERY filling. Also, the prices are GREAT!! I have had lunch there with another person for around $20 total on several occasions! You can usually walk out with spending about $26 for lunch, including tip, if you order from the lunch menu. I will definitely be visiting this place again - I just hope there isn't another identity crisis again any time soon!

Oh Silver Spoon, the original is soooooooooooooo much better than this one. We asked for water along with our booze and didn't get it. I asked for cold sake, usually at the other Silver Spoon I get it in this cute little contraption. Here, no, Publix sake at double the price. The employees, the presentation, the ambiance of the this Silver Spoon is just off. I'll stick to my Miramar location where the employees know and love me. I felt the food and service was lacking. Their servers are not authentic Asians, actually a couple of people were from Latin America. It kind of throws you off when you ask about a certain style of fish and they look at you as if you have a third eye. I will stay away from this location, for ever!

Haven't tried the sushi, I've only order take out and I got drunken noodles. It was really awesome, lots of layers of flavor. I got great service that night so maybe I just got lucky with the chefs and servers, but I'm giving this place 5 stars based on that experience.

went to eat there last night and honestly the food and the ambience is 2 out of 5. nothing compared to the one in Miramar. I actually wanted to throw up after eating the sushi roll. not going there again

Having just opened, this place is cool in that it offers up a fairly visible sushi restaurant in the Miami Lakes area. It's not that there aren't others, but the truth is that there aren't many. Off the top of my head, I can only think of Sushi Runner, Thai Cafe, and Shima. (Sushi boats!) The restaurant is very nicely put together. A sort of contemporary sushi restaurant feel. The kind of decor and ambiance that you might find at the Beach or Brickell or the Gables. It certainly does not have a mom and pop feel, which I tend to prefer, but that doesn't detract from Silverspoon at all. I mean, it is what it is, and the reality is that this is a small burgeoning chain looking to make a name for itself serving a food that grows ever trendier by the day. As for the sushi itself, the one time I visited Silverspoon, I ordered a Pink Panther Roll, which, presentation-wise, was quite unlike any other roll I've ever had. It was wrapped in a pink sort of... paper is the best name I can think up. Don't get me wrong: it's edible. I just can't think up a better word for it. Other than commenting on the wrapping, though, there really wasn't anything particularly memorable about the roll. That's not to say that it wasn't good. It just wasn't otherworldly. I should mention that, though I didn't jump at the opportunity, there are a great many lunch specials, all of which look particularly appetizing, so if you're looking for some sushi or other Thai fare at lunchtime, you can most certainly find a good deal here. All this notwithstanding, I'm glad another sushi joint opened up in Miami Lakes, especially since Shima doesn't seem to open during lunch hours. (At the very least, it doesn't seem to open during the daytime hours whenever I get a hankering for it) I expect this to become something of a local staple very soon.

I went for lunch on a Saturday around 2pm with my boy friend and there were a few families having lunch at that time. They have good lunch specials but we decided to order a dinner chicken pad Thai to share and it was plenty to share and it was delicious. We also ordered the pink panther which came with a side of eel sauce & we thought was different, crunchy, & yummy. He ordered a miso soup & i ordered a ginger salad, both were great portions & tasty. Lastly, we ordered the Thai donuts which were larger than most other places & seemed to be homemade. Overall, I enjoyed lunch there & would like to try it out on a busy night to see how the service is.

Place has a great look and delicious food. We had the tuna tetaki, which was good but the Crispy Trio was DELICIOUS!! Also had a rainbow roll and the chicken pad Thai. It was all so good!! Our waiter was very nice and constantly walked around. They have several dessert options and the Mochi ice cream is for sure #1.

So its not an authentic japanese or thai food, but these days, how many restaurants are really that? Still, I like it and there are those favorites that I can count on them having that is always good. Food is yummy, Prices are normal. It may not be at the top of your list to go, but it will never let you down. Some of my recommendations are: Tuna Rock Salad - little crispy tempura flakes mixed with the raw tuna gives it a nice texture and crunch. I dont feel as guilt free when I eat this, but its worth it Thai Fried Rice with Beef - Lots of Beef! Sometimes I want to say less Beef and more rice but who in their right mind ever would? Deep Fried Fish with Sweet and Spicy Sauce - this dish takes a while to make, but its worth the wait. I love how they ball out the meat first and fry it on the side, and then serve the remaining bones underneath. Everything is fried to perfection, which makes munching on the bones pretty fun! Tom Kha - Thai Spicy! Perfect blend of sour and spice!

Great selection and knowledgable staff. Nice environment. Great sushi spot. Will come here again next time I'm in town!

Compared to other Sushi Thai restaurants this place is below average. Their Tom Yum Goong soup was not flavorful. Their Anaconda roll, the rice was a bit hard. I did not like their Papaya Salad. The only dish that had good flavor was the Pad Thai. Maybe they had their off day. The waitress was attentive and polite.

Yum. First off, this place is roomie which I like. They have a beverage bar and a sushi bar and booths. They have a big drop down projector in the mid section and TVs around. They may not be authentic but I am okay with that. They have a big selection on their menu, with Sushi, Thai and curry! I am not a big fan of sushi but over the top on Thai and Japanese. I have never seen this place packed, so I have never had to wait which is a plus. The waiters are attentive and nice. Prices are normal for this kind of cuisine. Some of the plates are big and can be shared or taken to-go like me. I have been to this one several times and not had a bad experience. The food is good and actually spicy how I like it. I have also been to the one in Pembroke Pines which was credible as well. I was not a fan of the calamari. Nothing big about it. We had Saki and Sapporo along with our dinner. My recommendations: Tom Kha Gai Soup - medium spicy (coconut milk based) Pad Thai Chicken - medium spicy Pad See Ew beef - medium spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps Thai Donuts For 3 people ordering drinks and a few dishes, our check was $80 which is not bad at all.

My favorite sushi spot Miami Lakes. Sushi is always fresh and the waiters are really nice. My son loves coming here. A hole in the wall and it's never packed with a full liquor bar, what more can you ask for? The shrimp fried rice is great also try the Miami Hurricane roll. The fried donuts are heaven on earth.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in the area. We've been at least a half dozen times in the past year, and we've never had "terrible service". But I guess every dog had his (bad) day too. Anyway, the sushi is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I don't think you can ask for much more. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I'm not comparing it to other sushi restaurants in the area... I'm comparing it to every other sushi restaurant we've ever been to. It's really good and I recommend you at least try it... but it's not sublime either.

Stay away from waitress Anik and you might have a pleasant meal. Never ever have I had such a horrible and nasty experience with a waitress. How on earth this woman is a waitress is beyond me. 1) Gets our order wrong 2) Never introduced herself (if this had been the only issue I would probably have let it go) 3) From the moment we sit down we request green tea. We asked her twice for it she finally brought it out after she brought the bill out. 4) The bill was wrong she charged us for items we did not order. When we question her she go nasty about it. 5) she forgot to bring us food that we had ordered and finally brought it out after she had given us the bill. When we told her we no longer wanted it she again got nasty. 6) never came by to refill our water If you do end up going and get Anik do yourself a favor ask for someone else.

I travel to Miami Lakes about six times a year, and I used to always eat here. Everything was for the most part tasty and average. The last time I ate here, I sat at the sushi bar. I ordered tom kha gai, spicy scallop nigiri and squid nigiri. I watched them thaw out the scallops, which were subsequently fishy and bland. Tasted like moldy water. Sooo nasty! I also ordered hamachi, which was bad. I sent it back. The real deal killer for me was the hygiene practices of the three sushi cooks and the overall cleanliness of the sushi preparation area. By law, sushi makers are required to wear gloves. Sure, they had on gloves, but I guess they thought that it was okay to handle raw sushi, then handle cooked food, periodically eat their own food with gloves hands, answer the phone, talk on their personal phone, pick up bleach rags and wipe the chef knife, and then the wall, and then the toaster oven...and then make sushi and NEVER change gloves??!!?? I was so blown away that I felt bad for these otherwise hard-working employees. Food-borne illness is very serious and the negligence was too overwhelming to let this "off" night go. Therefore, goodbye Silver Spoon. Hope nobody gets sick.:(

TERRIBLE DOESNT EVEN TO DESCRIBE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS DUMP!! Ordered food and it took 2 1/2 hours to get here when I was told no longer than an hour. Called twice after that hour and was told the driver had left. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to a house that's 10 minutes away??? Negative. Cold food and they wouldn't even let it be complimentary. Currently waiting on the child of a driver that brought the food and gave me attitude at the door to return their disgustingly shitty food back and get my money back. Save your money & order from the King & I which is in the shopping center across the street!!!

we visited this place on a saturday afternoon with our two little boys. the place was nice and clean but it seemed weird to me that it was so empty. there was only one other couple in the restaurant. we are not sushi eaters so i cant comment on that. we had the pad thai and some fried rice. the pad thai was ok. yep, just ok. the rice was not good at all. it tasted as if it was reheated and the beef had a weird taste. i wanted to send it back but the mrs didnt want to make anyone feel bad. ypu would think when the table is being cleared, the waitress would ask why the rice wasnt touched and possibly have it removed from the bill as we were not taking it with us. she didnt. we had the friend ice cream which was ok and put a smile on our faces. overall, the service was fine, the place seemed clean, but kitchen needs some work. oh and before i forget, i went to the restroom after paying our bill and before walking out. as i entered, 2 guys wearing silverspoon chef uniforms were finishing up using the facilities, they nodded and walked out but didnt, i repeat DID NOT, wash their hands! we wont be coming back, solely on that. silverspoon needs to fix their kitchen.

First and foremost, the decor is so fab. You wouldn't think this restaurant is inside a plaza. Everything about the place looks gorgeous and clean. The sushi is amazing. I had The Miami Hurricane, Pascalo, and Pink Panther and they were all so delicious. The prices are also very reasonable. For 2 sodas and those 3 orders came out to be $39. I see myself going back as frequently as I can.

I have been going to this Silverspoon restaurant for about 4 months now, frequenting about once every week and a half. Every time I order the brown rice, It taste soggy and old. The Tom kha (coconut milk soup) is good. The sushi for me was OK. Not the spot I would go to when I am craving sushi. One time me and my significant other sat down to eat. The service was terrible. The server only came one time to take our order, and the next time I saw her was to bring me my check. She had an attitude. Doesn't break a smile ever.

This place is huge and has a great atmosphere, which completely caught me by surprise, since you can't totally see through the windows from the outside. The menu is big and the food is good, however the service is an opportunity. Great as a neighborhood sushi option but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Silverspoon is by far the best sushi in Miami Lakes in my opinion. I've tried several different things off the menu, not only sushi, and overall I think the food is good. Im not crazy about dining in though. Service is a bit slow at times and with the cigar shop next door, the smell of the smoke can be felt from inside the restaurant. Everyone loves a good cigar, i am just not a fan of smelling them over dinner. So since I like the food I usually order Silverspoon for delivery or take out and if you order online, they'll give you 10% off!

My partner had told me that a new Thai place had opened in Miami Lakes. We figured we'd check it out for dinner this past Saturday night. We parked the car and walked up to peer into the restaurant. I was skeptical because no restaurant of any particular interest to me had ever opened in that spot, and they'd all gone bust anyway. Boy, was I happy about what I saw. FINALLY, an independently owned Miami Lakes restaurant whose interior calls for you to come in! The large wall painted in orange; the exposed drop ceilings; the drum pendant lamps; the booths; everything about this place says simple, yet modern and elegant. Oh, I've gone on so much about the decor that I forgot about the food. It was fantastic. This place is more than just a pretty surface; there's substance here. We ordered the steamed pork dumplings (I forgot the actual name on the menu) to share as an appetizer. There were four, which is perfect for 2 people, and they were delicious. I ordered a "beginner's" Thai entree (ginger chicken), and it was excellent, perhaps even better than what I've tried at other places. What was new to me here were the pineapple cubes included in the dish, and they added an extra flair to the overall flavor. I don't think I've had ginger chicken with pineapple before. My partner ordered the pad Thai and loved it as well. I think this restaurant has opened a new chapter in the Miami Lakes dining scene, and hopefully, others will follow.

What isn't good here, they got a bar, sushi, and Thai food. Always had a great experience here, the service is on point and excellent. Food is always cooked just so (at least IMO) so never a bad time. I would like to come for lunch sometime, since I always just have dinner here. It gets an A+ in my book

Best Sushi in Miami Lakes! I frequently go here (at least once a week) and have never had a bad experience! The staff is friendly and the food is great! The menu is fairly priced too. 5 stars in my book for sure!

Ive been to tons of sushi restaurants since I've moved down here only to find "okay" to "not so good places" in this area. Well... The search stops here!! Seriously people, this place is amazing. The decor, the service, and sushi is top notch. I tried the crab rangoon appetizer, and for main course: dragon roll, the volcano, and the Miami hurricane. I got my go to place for sushi near home!!! :D

I ordered the salmon roll for pick up. The roll looked really fresh and tasted fresh as well. I found 4 fish bones in my sushi roll. I didn't know that was possible, I love to eat sushi and I never had found a fish bone inside the roll. I will not return.

Great food and good service. It is reasonably priced for fresh sushi. They have a full service bar. Plenty of free parking too. Cant go wrong here.

Sushi is blah. I don't know what the fuzz is all about. Gave it a second chance tonight and not only did they mess up my order but what I got was far from being 4 stars worth.

So I ate here for the first time yesterday.. It was really good! I got the beef satay appetizer as my entree, my brother got the peanut chicken and my mom got the chicken fried rice. They were all suuuper delicious. Beef satay is a pretty standard meal, but they were generous with the thickness of the beef strips. My brothers peanut chicken was really good, a chicken breast with peanut sauce. My moms was my FAVE, t came with a ton of chicken. I'll be coming back.

This location recently open. I decided to try it out yesterday after receiving a flyer through the mail. To begin the place is very nice decorated and spacious. They offer happy hour specials on Tues & Wed. 5-10pm. Got 2 appetizers and 30 rolls for $20. The sushi was fresh and tasty. Overall I recommend this place if you're craving sushi around Miami lakes area.

I ordered delivery from Silverspoon the other day and I will never get food from them again. I don't even know how to describe it... but we ordered $60 worth of food and threw it all away. The food looked good, but it was not good.

  • Aimeet T.

Silver Spoon is just okay sushi. The rolls are to big and not well made. It's convenient to order as there is not a big selection of sushi in the area. They are a little pricey for the quality. I think they're just okay.

  • Joan V.

Been here several times, and just recently ordered delivery as well. I have to say this the BEST Thai place in the area, and their sushi is superb! They also have the best fried rice i have ever tasted. The service has always been friendly and fast. I am so happy this location is so close to me. I always look forward to having a delicious meal at Silver spoon.

My fiancé and I live really close to Silver Spoon and we got so excited when it opened. This place is awsome! Every single roll u get here is amazing! Super cold beer, and they have pitchers!! Rarely have I been to a sushi restaurant that offers pitchers of beer!!! The service is great and the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. We love this place and hope it stays for a long time.

I have been to the silverspoon in Miramar plenty of times and its always been great experience. Yesterday however I was in the Miami lakes area so I decided to stop by the Miami lakes location and that was a bad idea. I received the worst costumer service so much so i ended up leaving before I even ordered my meal...first off there was only two other people in the restaurant so I didn't expect such bad customer service...they did have a sushi special going on so the waitress gave us a pen to chose from.....the pen was actually bleeding (how the waitress didn't notice I have no idea) The ink bled all over me what really disturbed me was she was not apologetic and she looked like she didn't care...I asked for a manger and the head cook told me "this is a family owned business and the manger will not do anything" I then grabbed me purse and processed to the door...I will never go to this location again.

    (1)

I eat here at least once a week the service is amazing. They're never any long waits and the food is perfect with an amazing selection, as long as you're down to try new things.

Their delivery service tends to be very slow. I ordered a miniboat about 40 minutes ago and just called to find out the status of my order. The man was very short with me only saying that the order supposedly left 20 minutes ago -- although I live a short distance away and it's taking SO long for a small order. And it's on a Tuesday night which is typically a slow business night. I will think twice before ordering delivery from here again. PS. They finally arrived 1 hour 10 minutes after I placed my order. Despite my call to them a 2nd time their was no offer on their part to discount anything. The driver still got a small tip because I just didn't have the heart to not tip him. I'm such a softie!

Good sushi if you are the Miami Lakes area. Thai Doughnuts, Delish! Panther Kanisu roll was what I ordered and it was fresh, I recommend those 2 rolls. The waiters were nice and it was pretty packed.

I love it here! Whenever I enjoy a meal here it is usually pretty empty, which to me is always a good thing. The food is delish and their service has always been superb. The waitress usually recommends different items from the menu and is patient with me until I finally make a decision. I always go with my six year old son and although he is NOT a very picky eater , it's always nice to see how much he enjoys his plate as well.

I live close by so i try and stay local during the week and silver spoon is one of the places i visit alot when im not in the mood to cook. I have to say this place is not what it use to be they have changed alot of the servers (which were super nice & friendly) the food is also not all that. Last time i went i ordered shrimp fried rice and the shrimps smelled as if they were rotten. I had to return my plate. we never got an apology... Owner is always there and she was made aware and didnt even come up to ask is we needed anything. I was very dissapointed. The sushi is pretty good and the place is very clean. But it needs improvement.

As far as the lakes go, this is your best bet for Sushi with a kid-friendly menu that's open late. I brought my mom here the other night and she loved it. Granted, she's orders delivery forever from them several times yet never had dined in. I always order Tamakos & seaweed salad so I was content. She ordered everything and yes, she loved it. Everything is very economical and I dig the trendy Input with the Orange and wood interior. Sorta Fetch. I would totally eat here again when I go to the area. By the way, the Mochi Ice Cream is pretty good. Not a fan of the whole whipped cream with chocolate thing but my mama devoured it like a little toddler. Thumbs up on choosing the good Plum wine but thumbs a bit down for not having Hot Sake. The website is a bit difficult to order from and that's the only reason they get a lower rating. All in all, I would totally dine here again.

I'm so disappointed! My boyfriend is severely allergic to peanuts. We made that extremely clear, and we were careful when ordering our meal. While the menu didn't list peanuts in our dishes, we still asked the servers. Our servers had no idea which ingredients were in their dishes, whether peanuts or cashews - totally clueless! They didn't even bother to help find out, and after requesting them to, they still had no answers. We made it clear that an allergy could possibly mean going into anaphylactic shock and death. They didn't seem to take that very seriously. It was so frustrating, but we remained polite. Halfway into our dinner, his throat starts to get itchy and his stomach starts aching. Thankfully, we had benedryl in the car and it didn't get any worse. I called afterwards to warn them how dangerous peanut allergies could be and a server picked up. He said there was no manager, and that he was in charge. He was nervous, I guess. He was defensive and rude. The panang curry was delicious, but what a stressful dinner! They didn't compensate or refund. Or even apologize. I've never been back, not even on my own. They could've killed my boyfriend. It's that serious. No more Thai restaurants for him. Like ever. We won't risk it again.

Second time coming here and trying to give it another chance. After this time forget it. The servers here are rude. They get straight to the point, no smiles, no conversation, they cut you off mid sentence forcing you to get straight to the point. I do not appreciate it. I promised a friend I would take back something they wanted, (dragon roll) so I ordered it. The total was 13.13 and I gave a $20. My change back was $6. I asked where the rest of my change was and the guy told me he's sorry they ran out of coins... I wasn't going to leave it at that. After a few minutes he miraculously happened to have coins again. This place sucks. Never again. Don't waste your time when there's better places not too far. I would rather have a smaller portion of sushi from Pei Wei then return for this kind of service at this place.

First of all, let me just say this is the second time I have ever written any review on yelp the first and only time being a 5 star review. So, My boyfriend and I just left this place to find somewhere else to eat. The experience was horrible and honestly it doesn't even deserve the 1 star I had to give it. We went in and had to wait approximately five minutes for anyone to show up and tell us to take a seat. Finally, the waiter ( who was supposed to take care of us) appears and tells us to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. We did and were given the menus and had our drink orders were taken. After this, the only "service" we received was the waiter walking past us telling us he would come back to take our orders about 8 times in a 30 minute timespan. This waiter would literally walk to our table, stop and tell us he would come back "right now" for our order and then go to a a different table to take that order, then go to another and take care of those customers then repeat this process 8 times!! When he finally shows up, my boyfriend was livid and asked for the check for our drinks and this waiter actually acts like he is surprised and asked if we were not going to get food? Seriously?! My boyfriend then proceeded to just give him a $5 bill and asks for the change. At which point this waiter takes the money and again goes to take care of someone else before getting our check an then after another couple of minutes FINALLY bringing our check. The service was horrible!! I will personally never go back to this place and would highly advise everyone else to not even bother going either.

So I was not going to write a review, but read a few of the bad ones and decided to leave my own. I have been in this place countless times. It is very close to my office, so is the place to come for lunch and wine. Any way, i have not had a bad experience here in 3 years. I had try half of the menu, from sushi to thai. My fovorites: papaya salad, TomKa soup with tofu, salmon salad, Griled salmon, sashimi, three sisters, the avocado spring rolls, shrimp tempura... their prices are really good. You can eat and have few drinks with out woring on the bill. Wine is $5 a glass. Plus most of their items are under $20, good portions as well. If you are in Miami Lakes area and don't want to eat Picadillo and rice and beans, this is the palce to go. I am Puertorrican and love cuban food/ latin food in general. When it goes to sushi or thai there are not a lot of options around this area. So try it. Service is not superb but is not the worst. Usually they are understaff but servers are nice and pay attention to you. When I am in town and don't want to adventure, just want good fresh made food, this is my place to go. I don't give them 5 stars because they dont have linen table cloth and they need to step up their service game. Hope this review helps you! PS you can go next door and smoke a cigarro after dinner. !! Or get a cortadito right next door. Is a win win!!

This is a perfectly convenient location for a sushi restaurant but the food is very mediocre, absolutely nothing out of this world. The upside is definitely the fact that they are open throughout the day, unlike others that either close between lunch and dinner and reopen for dinner or Shima which only opens after 6 pm. Another downside is the sake selection...cold sake only? Really? They need hot sake ASAP. Three stars purely for convenience and mediocrity.

So after eating take out from here several years ago and getting food poisoning, I swore off this place. However y daughter continued to order from here. So, tonight she ordered the curry chicken. In her curry was a ROACH!!! This place is nasty and I warn everyone to avoid this filthy nasty place!!!

Bad service, food quality low and staff hygiene highly questionable. Don't recommend this place.

We love this place! The food is so good and the prices are reasonable. Great selection of Thai food and lots of fresh sushi! I don't give 5 stars that often but, like I said, we have been here a bunch of times and the food is consistently good! Seriously, always good... No bad experiences.

Not a fan of MSG! Unfortunately we noticed a couple of MSG additive bottles behind the sushi bar and were turned off immediately!!

I love the Curry Duck! (mild) and the coconut milk soup! Really good pricing too! I think they need to cover up the exposed music/tv wiring--like they did with the bar. I don't like seeing the air ducts.

Start off with having to look for the host, mix in a sizeable wait for your food despite the restaurant being less than half full..although somewhat tasty (I'll give them that) stir thoroughly a small portion of teriyaki chicken and brown rice. Sautee getting the wrong bill (for twice off what your order was) and having the amount still linger on your bank account. Voila, you have the dish known as my experience at Silver Spoon. To their credit, at least they did process the refund for the wrong bill.
