Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

It's pretty hard to get pizza wrong, but this place seems to be good at just that. Seriously, it's only three ingredients. The dough: terrible, stale, floppy, weird aftertaste. The sauce: nonexistent. Seriously, there was so little you couldn't even taste it. The cheese: cheap, almost bitter. Result: a place that's nothing like New York style pizza. This area of Miami Beach could use a decent pizza by the slice place, but I'll never go back here.
(1)Allie M.
Pizza was delicious! Great price too. Also had the chicken Parmesan sandwich which was delicious. Gave only 4 stars because the server wasn't very friendly and the place reeked of cigarette smoke (I'm assuming at night people smoke in there) wish we would of known, would of eaten outside.
(4)Joe S.
Food was great, drinks awesome I would recommend this place to anyone down here shrimp pizza with fresh garlic. ...mmmmmm the mozzarella sticks were great, service was wonderful and will return
(5)Yanin A.
Food is fresh and the pizza has actually gotten very good. Good service and timely delivery. If you are ordering a cold sub heads up, they toast their bread so you might want to let them know not to if you don't want a warm sub instead.
(4)Christy O.
We ordered a large pizza, half just cheese and the other half was ham and mushroom. The crust was soggy. The ham tasted like old store-brand generic ham. The cheese side was ok but not really good. I would not eat here again.
(1)Dong K.
I dont usually write feedback. But help you not waste your time and money. Go elsewhere. Foods not worth the price, and service a disaster. 2.5 star overestimating this place.
(1)Cristina M.
My boyfriend got a pepperoni slice and I got a italian panino (prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato and basil). Food was good. Prosciutto was not as thinly sliced as I'm used to.
(4)Nir R.
what happened? You got so bad!
(1)Alessio T.
As Italian guys we can say that their pizza is a good pizza for being in Miami! We took chicken wrap and it tasted really good. 4 stars since staff is nice and friendly. Casual ambient, music and TV over the bar. Seems to be a pub. Gonna come back next!
(4)Shamika B.
My family and I ate here and throughly enjoyed it. The wait staff was pleasant, available when needed and made excellent recommendations of items to try. The burgers were great! We also had a pork chop and grilled chicken dinner and was so satisfied with the taste and portions. The garlic bread that come with the dinner entrees were delicious. The black beans and rice were tasty. My husband had the three wise men drink and he enjoyed it.
(4)Jessica H.
I had 3 different meals here. Pizza was delicious best I've tasted in a while. There open all day so those mid night cravings after a few drinks is worth it. Drinks were delicious and strong! The breakfast was good not great but not bad. There buffalo wings were to die for. Thumbs up from me!

Wow what a place! My three children and I went for a late dinner and had such a spectacular experience that I don't even think I have all the words to express how great it was! I'll try anyway....here goes: My son Leonardo ordered the lasagna and it was out of this world ! so authentic Italian that it tasted like nonna was in the back cooking it! My twin daughters Allegra & Micaela ordered both the fettuccini Alfredo with ham and cheese pizza .. Soooooo delicious! Lastly, I ordered the churasco with side salad & French fries .... Omg ...if I would have thought about then I would have have asked for a fried egg on top and made it just one happy plate of Bistec a lo pobre! Which is one of my favorite dishes from my native country, Chile. Did I mention our wonderful server ! She rocks her name was Mia and I had to tell her she reminded me Dayanora from OITNB! She was over the top accomadating, sweet , personable & just plain fantastic especially with my little one's it was already 11:30pm at that time .. She's there from Wednesday -Sunday 6pm -6am she now has Monday's & Tuesday's off ... Now that's how you know someone really blew you away ! One word : Amazing
(5)Natalya S.
Well, there were a lot of positive reviews so I'm betting the staff that night had a lot to do with the experience -- they didn't look thrilled to be working, like most young people in this generation. The rest of our trip was okay, thank you for asking! -- though I think that Miami is not the city for us. We did enjoy the beach very much, however, so much more than the shore in Jersey! And that was the main focus of our trip. As far as getting around Miami, however, no one warned us about the traffic! We did get a chance to visit the Everglades and take an airboat ride, which was memorable.
(3)Nelson A.
The only reason this place gets five stars is because it's the only place to enjoy food and drinks late night in north beach the music is great and the pizza is Great come and find out for yourself I live at the Carrilion a super high end place I am from the neighborhood and I know these things CO NORTH BEACH if you doubt me call 305 979 1898 I have no interest in this place but i love the neighborhood!

Preordered over the phone...got there still had to wait 25 min. Then the check came, 35 dollars for a large pizza with half sausage and wings. I said sir, "can you break that down?", no response, "can i see the receipt please?" ..looked at the receipt, $3 dollars for the extra half topping and get this $4 for gratuity. I was like, so i give you business, come pick it up and i still have to give you 4 dollar tip? Please remove. The pizza was gross...very hard cheese...stale very quick. Never again ..ever. How do you mess up a pizza?
(1)John V.
Bad first impression as soon I walked in. A horrendous smell hit me hard at first like the place hasn't been cleaned. No awning drapes on the outside, poor seating, and just a sign that no one cares there. Food was mediocre, but service was poor. Lola was the waitress, and she was not customer service friendly. Didn't check in at all to see if my order was ok. Surprisingly it was, but very unattentive. They put an automatic tip on bill, which wasn't well deserved. So I would not recommend it to anyone visiting my miami beach area. Better places over the bridge
(1)Shawn B.
This place is so hit and miss. When they get it right, the pizza is quite decent, tasty, good crust, cooked correctly - when they miss, it's a disaster. Also, waiting time is a joke. I live 2 blocks away and delivery, even on off nights, like Mondays, will take over an hour. It also doesn't help to go in person and order food to go, you'll still be waiting 45 minutes on a slow night - even for a single cold sub. NOW - the *BIG* PROBLEM is the lounge next door. The service goes beyond inept - they despise customers. They despise serving customers. It's as if they don't want to make money at the lounge. I always wonder if there's something fishy going on, accounting-wise. They can't possibly be making a profit on that large, seemingly purposefully empty space.
(3)Steve C.
Marnie the biz partner and I had just finished a meeting near by at the Sandbar Lounge to talk social media, video production and merchant processing and we needed to grab a slice, stat! I had a couple of cheese slices and a Sprite. The slices were big and the Sprite was cold and fresh. Outside seating too.
(3)Matt P.
Good pizza at all hours of the night. A little greasy but delicious. We grabbed a few slices when we went out for drinks and it was pretty good.
(3)Kristina O.
1 star is generous. What a dump. They don't honor their online specials. Took an hour and a half to make 2 small pizzas. Pizzas were mediocre at best. Staff lied to me twice and would not refund my money when requested.
(1)Luis E.
Good place for happy hour and late-night drinks and snacks. Friendly service and decent food and prices. The reason for the three stars is The billing. The tip was included and there was an additional extra charge of $12. The waitress claimed that it was "customary in Miami Beach". So watch out for hidden charges in your bill
(3)Cristina R.
So happy I found this spot at 4am ! I was nervous trying pizza out here in Florida but I'm glad I did :) almost as good as nj pizza
(5)Everth L.
This pizza was freakin bomb! The sauce was perfect bread was soft and delicious . It was very pricey and it was one of the best I've tasted.. This hole in the wall was the first for me :)
(5)Mike G.
This pizza was friggin awesomely necessary at 3:30 am on a Friday in Miami. While $20 is on the high end for a large pie (it wasn't insanely huge), the toppings and quality compensate for the loss of a few dollars. We ordered half house special (they put jalapeños, prosciutto and salami on theirs) and half Venezia (prosciutto, fresh basil, and fresh tomatoes). Enjoyed both styles, though I think I have an affinity for the simplicity of the Venezia. Their crust is light, chewy, slightly buttery (maybe they brush their crust with garlic butter?) and the delivery time was pretty spot on.
(4)Bob M.
Outstanding food and service... Delivery was fast and friendly. We are staying at Eden Roc and needed to get some food after midnight. Burger/fries, salad, pizza were all fantastic. The prices were a nice surprise in this $$ bloated resort area.
(5)Francis P.
Food is great here, even the the burgers are delish and plentiful......but!! I truly believe sanitation is an issue with this place! The staff members don't wear latex gloves and all too often I see the workers handling money and then handling food immediately afterwards! NOT COOL! This place is overall ok, but it has the potential to be awesome, that's why I only give Venezia 3 stars!
(3)Riselys N.
It was late night at my hotel on Collins ave. we called this pizza spot at around 3am, it was noisy in there so the person who took my order wasn't really hearing me correctly, but they got the order correct. I ordered a medium "white pizza" & if asked they could put half pepperoni on one side. They gladly did just that. The pizza was delivered within 20-30mins, it was quick. The price was only $14.75 (not bad for a medium white pizza). The pizza was a little bit warm when we received it. But, however the taste was good. The ricotta cheese tastes fresh, and full of flavor. And the cheese wasn't too greasy, and neither was the pepperoni. The crust wasn't a skinny, hard crust. It was fluffy, and tasted like good pizza dough! I would definitely recommend this pizza spot during a late night in your hotel or on the beach.

THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THEIR ADJOINING BAR- If you are a local or are staying at the Deauville, it's a nice dive bar. I go there as a local and I actually think it's fun because it is not crowded. It also has a billiards table. The bartenders are really nice!
(5)Jorge C.
I love the pizza here. It's tastier than a lot of the sobe places. It's a good old family owned pizza place. Everything I've had has been good. I've never had bad service except when they are busy. Understandable when it's hectic. I have recommended to friends and they also have liked this place.
(5)Deejay Z.
Don't get the wings there so small not worth it !! But everything else should be find
(2)Roberto B.
It's not quite an OMG five star place (and this review is primarily based on two deliveries - I have been inside the restaurant and they were fantastic hosts the last time the World Cup was playing on big screens about town) but for a local pizzeria that has to compete with a number of other mom and pop spots and the big 3 chains - they do quite alright. Not too long for delivery (usually 45 min tops) and very fresh ingredients. Their staff are also very helpful and carry adequate change. When I want to sink my teeth into a chewy crust and savor melting cheese over my favorite toppings - I know I can count on Venezia to deliver the goods!
(4)Nicole B.
This place was right across from our hotel and was super convenient as it was open 24 hours. Everything we had was good and we never had to wait longer than 20 min to pick it up. The pizza we got was a little pricier than expected but was still good
(4)Paul K.
The place is kinda dirty and the people working there are, let's just say not from the upper crust if society, but the pizza is friggin delicious. Cheesy & greasy & huge slices. Everything you ask for in a slice of pizza. If you're close by then give it a try.
(4)J. S.
I thought the pizza was good, nothing really to rave about, but it's not as bad as past reviewers made it out to be (note: most of the negative reviews are years old, since then, there's been a new owner). I think Venezia's a 3.5 star pizzeria, it's just somewhere you want to order when you're really hungover, or you just want to chow down on something quick and local. I thought their Cheesesteak sandwich was good, as was their pizza. Like a previous reviewer said, it's not a wowing-gem, but it also shouldn't be outed as a local, favorite. I'll definitely order here again.
(4)Josh B.
Ordered 20 mins before I showed up and my pizza still was not in the oven. Why do I order ahead of time if I'm still waiting for my pizza like as if I ordered it when I got there? I finally get home an hour after I left, no longer hungry and I just realized I wasted my money on something I'm not going to enjoy. Unless your starving and have no other option, go some where else.
(2)Constance W.
I ordered a bacon cheese burger and it was horrible. Actually, the worst I've ever had. The young lady that took the order seem to be very busy and uninterested in taking my order so I understood because I'm just nice so I tried them again and my order was 45mins late. NEVER EVER GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT!!
(1)Lashe F.
Yoooooiio the wings was banggiinnnnnggggggggg and the burger was so soooo soooooo juicyyyyy!
(5)Magaly M.
The other day I ordered a tuna salad which I absolutely loved because the tuna was not heavy on mayo and tasted fresh. I ordered it to pick up and took it home. While I was eating the salad at home, I bit into an object that lightly scraped the roof of my mouth. I took this object out of my mouth and it turns out its a staple. Disgustedby the asks I contacted Venezia and complained. The person on the phone said he could make me another salad. I requested a full refund. Luckily the roof of my mouth was ok but still kept everything documented in case I had to go to a personal injury lawyer. I went back to the restaurant and got my money back. Sorry Venezia. Never again.
(2)Julie L.
So decided to give it another shot. So glad I did. Our favorite waitress was there & we had great service & food. They've updated the outside seating to accommodate more tables that allow for better walking thru and more people. Our old favorite weekly joint is back. Yeah!
(4)Anthony S.
Not the cleanest place in town, but the slices are good. As long as you don't have to touch the counter or the salt shaker, you'll be fine. Open 24/7 which is nice too.
(3)David W.
They take the employees McDonald's won't hire and give them responsibility. I've been in this place 3 times. Once drunk, once at night, and this afternoon. Third time not a charm. It took 18 minutes for two slices. I know this because I sent a text the moment I placed the order. Throughout that time people were on the phone, milling about, doing other things. Whatever. Yeah, I'm just a guy who likes to stand in your store. The pizza has decent flavor, but is undercooked, doughy, and has too much cheese. The cheese outweighs the slice, so it ends up all over the place. They need to learn how to cook pizza for 15 minutes in an oven. As I walked out two guys said, "what do you expect? It ain't new york." I expect people who aren't retarded.
(2)pamela d.
Only place in the world that takes more than an hour to deliver your food. Regularly anywhere you order is 45 mins max to deliver ... If you guys are really that busy hire more delivery guys. Rush the service thinking twice if I order next time. Update: I just received my burger after 1:20 mins and of course the bun it's all soggy and the French fries too... What a waste of time and money NO CONSIDERATION AT ALL TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! At the end we are who's making your business running
(1)B A.
Be careful not to leave personal belongings or cell phones unattended to for even a short moment. The employees will take them and management will waste your time scheduling meetings to show you the theft on camera but unfortunately they can't do anything about it. So lock it up! Or, just skip this joint all together...
(1)Jonah K.
24 hour, the pizza is good. The rest of the food looks scary and I would never get any food from there. Notice the poor reviews for other foods :)
(4)Suzy V.
Good pizza.. But that's it. There are certain places where you should only ever order what they specialize in and this is the place. I have experimented with the Onion rings aka hard crunchy sand rings Cheesecake ( only comes frozen) Fries served soup style ecause of the soggyness Lol Just have the pizza
(3)Rich K.
The worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Ordered from this place while staying at the Miami Beach Resort. I needed some food after a long day and night of drinking. The only positive I can offer is that they delivered after 2am.
(1)S K.
The bar service is an absolute train wreck. 3 people in the entire bar and no one got a drink for over 10 minutes. A new customer came in and sat down, the bartender finished her text then went into the back room. They can't figure out how to get a game on any of the working tvs. I'm watching horse racing and 'Family Guy'
(1)kim c.
$13 bucks for 2 slices of pizza and it was not good . Mushrooms from out of the can Eeeekkkkkkk Horrid
(1)Selina P.
Reading the other reviews here, I can really relate and confirm my concerns. Sadly, this has been the go-to-by-default place for delivery pizza for my immediate family for a good while (years), largely due to our late night schedules, but gratefully that stopped last year. The pizza is decent, if not overly cheesy (consume with caution and fiber supplement to prevent heart related emergency) and often slightly under-cooked. We pretty much only ever got the cheese because the toppings were rather gratuitously priced and scant in quantity. the food and service went from meh to bad to worse. As a person working in food service, from a family entirely in the Hotel and Restaurant industry, I have to say this is the worst service I have received, and I am truly disappointed at how a regular customer is treated, apparently because they thought we would continue ordering anyway. yeah, well. Often over 1.5 hours for pizza that comes soggy with oil and cheese often and dripping throughout the box. now, my family LOVES cheese, so it being much for us says alot. Very rude, unprofessional and abrasive phone delivery persons, mistake handled with nonchalance, and long long wait time for food. Pizza is the only thing we would order from here, cheese was the only pizza (after trying others) we would have done, but it was the service that sealed the deal for my family of 5 adults. If someone connected to Venezia reads this, I would just strongly recommend addressing your staff on handling phone orders and respecting and valuing all customers. Don't leave your patrons waiting for food when there while you are "busy" for exceeding periods of time, particularly when they are sitting in front of you. don't go cheap on toppings (ricotta?) or rude on mistakes to be fixed, and develop a more efficient delivery system. Waiting an indefinite amount of time for pizza is not something paying customers with other options are obligated to endure. adjust the cheese level on the pizza and perhaps take more care to see the dough is fully cooked. Im positive that if you carried out these things, your ratings and business would improve, esp among the sober, and I may return. Bottom line: Respect and value for customers is lacking, pizza could be way healthier and more reasonable, and service can be more professional, courteous and efficient.
(1)Grace F.
I have eaten here a couple of times and their pizza is definitely something I would recommend. But, pizza is definitely their strong point. The other things they serve I'm not that crazy about. If you're nearby try the pizza!
(3)J C.
Its open 24 hours so thats awesome! As for the food its decent but I usually order from here late night when everything else is shut down. I've waited an hour for my pizza before which was ridiculous! So order in advance next time when u have the late night munchies!
(3)Amber L.
Small pizza parlor attached to a larger lounge. Ordered lasagna. It was worse than the kind you get out of the frozen food aisle in the grocery store. Sauce tasted like concentrate that they forgot to dilute. Pure tomato paste, actually. Came with garlic rolls. Of three, 2 were burnt. Tasted like dinner rolls with the cheapest canned parmesan they could find sprinkled on top. What happened to the garlic? Price was great, of course, and it was ready quickly but the taste was too gross for me to ever reconsider.
(1)Liiisa C.
It's not fancy, but it is 24 hours. It's also more than just pizza -- The extensive menu includes burgers, pasta, etc. Service was great. Pizza was just the way *I* like it: Slightly undercooked & doughy.
(4)Ryen D.
I get strombolis fairly regularly from here. Favorite thing on the menu and it has never failed me. Is it the best pizza ever? No. Is it local, 24 hours, and consistent? Yes. I will keep ordering from here....
(3)Rich H.
We had drinks and a burger in the adjoining Azulee lounge, clearly a dive bar, that shares the kitchen. This is a LOW class place, folks. Drunks were watching brutal boxing on TV. Nonetheless bartender was friendly and burger was not bad. But thinking of the "ambiance" we have no desire to return.
(2)Joseluis A.
my friend Yei lives pretty close to this pizza place so she suggested it last night as we were pretty hungry. we sat inside and soon discovered that they have salsa classes on fridays for 15$ per hour. we did not dance, but it was nice to see a nice crowd trying to learn. i gotto say, salsa is very hard to dance properly .. but this is an italian place? haha. only in miami. anyways, we got an order of 12 chicken wings, a medium pizza (with mushrooms, onions and black olives) and two pitchers of beer. before you judge me, we are a party of four in total. the pitchers of beer (the champagne of beer) goes for 10$, i think the pizza was 15$ and i dont remember how much were the wings... those were ok, nothing out of the ordinary and the dipping sauces they come with are the same as everywhere else. the pizza was good. nice amounts of toppings and the crust was nice and crunchy. pitcher of beer for 10$? thats freaking awesome... i wouldnt recommend this place in particular but i see myself going back whenever im in the area... and order some more pitchers before hitting the beach... at night.
(3)Mariette R.
I used to be a loyal customer to this place because the pizza and service was good and it is opened 24 hours, but suddenly since some months ago they turned into the worst delivery service in this area. They will tell you, you have to wait one hour and they will arrive between 1:45 to 2 hours! The pizza is not as good as it was before and of course after 2 hours it will be cold. Sometimes you will receive incomplete orders and uncut pizza. They won't compensate you for any delay or inconvenient. We guess, that they do not care anymore because they know that they are the only place 24 hours opened in this area. I tried several times after the first delay because I thought it was only a busy night but after 2 months on test I gave up!, They are not doing any adjustments. They do not care if you are an old customer. They do not know anymore what is customer service. Its a shame... Do not support this place because a delivery service of up to 2 hours is disrespectful.
(1)Diego W.
Good food, attention is consistently bad or average. I seldom go, but when I do I often get the same treatment.
(2)Liz V.
Alright... so i live around the corner... and there are a dozen better pizza joints... Went here for the 1st time to try them out... with a restaurant.com coupon... WHAT AN ORDEAL... they couldn't figure out the math... we went back and forth... the pizza was alright... the garlic bread and chicken wings were horrible... and i'm talking about burnt horrible... the beers tasted like they were frozen and then thawed... oh, and they totally forgot we were there... so make sure to LITERALLY stand in front of the pizza oven, or your food will just sit there until YOU go pick it up...just so frustrating... when all you want is a beer and pizza... "I heart Pizza" puts this place to shame... in service AND taste...
(1)Christine P.
Every neighborhood needs a place like this... a little hole in the wall where you can order food at any hour of the night. Stopped by here Friday night - more like earrrrly Saturday morning and stuffed my face with greasy pizza and diet coke. The place was bumpin' with people streaming out of a huge party at the Deauville Hotel across the street. There was a short wait for slices, and it was stifling hot inside the shop because of the ovens & crowds... but it hit the spot. Can't give you a *real* review on the quality of pizza, because really, at 3am, all you need is food in your stomach. So Venezia served it's purpose.
(3)Primo L.
Fast, decent and inexpensive. The food will never win any awards but not a bad place to stop off on the way to the beach with the kids.
(3)Luccas P.
Ok pizza place in the neighborhood.
