I came here because of the yelp elite event. Frankly, I probably would have never walked in here if it wasn't for the yelp event.. I would have never expected the place to be so good. Good music, awesome service and excellent drinks. It would have been perfect if they had appetizers. Seriously, whoever runs this joint needs to add a food menu... Miami needs more authentic places like this and I hope they are here for a while. Their bartenders/waitresses/staff/performers are excellent. The place is small, but cozy. Feels like a Parisian cafe. The decor is simple, but perfect. Will definitely be back.

Along with hotels, boutique shops, restaurants and night clubs, there sits this dark, cozy and intimate New York City-like piano bar right at the heart of touristy South Beach. I had never heard of this place up until a Yelp Elite event I recently had the pleasure of attending. A variety of performers took to the stage. There was piano playing, percussions, guitar and singing which included an eclectic assortment of music. To my surprise, the bartenders, servers and other staff members were not just there to mix & serve up drinks, they were there to entertain! They kept me fully engaged and equally hydrated! Very cool concept! Janae (one of the servers) got on stage, started singing her heart out to Tina Turner's Proud Mary, halfway through she'd go to the bar, grab her drink order, serve the drinks to her thirsty customers, all the meanwhile performing without skipping a beat. How's that for multitasking!? So the next time an employer asks you if you're good at multitasking, think again! I know I will...I can barely concentrate on one thing! There was also an aerial acrobatics performance. Although this type of art is incredibly dangerous and extremely demanding on the body, he made suspending and hanging from these aerial silks look so effortless. He climbed, wrapped, dropped, straddled and posed. Captivating and mesmerizing everyone in the crowd. Amazing strength and flexibility exhibited by this artist. Such incredible and fascinating talent! As the Yelp Elite event ended, a few of us still lingered since we were having such a good time. We noticed audience members getting up on stage to perform. It was Open Mic Wednesdays! A woman got a chance to show off her nice set of pipes and a much older gentleman got up on stage to recite a very touching love poem. It was beautiful, something written for one of his loves in his more youthful days I'm sure. What a great time at The Cabaret! Bring your girlfriend, boyfriend, mistress, lover or a group of friends and enjoy the night with an amazing cast of talented entertainers. You are bound to have a memorable evening. South Florida needs more venues with performers of this caliber. I'm a fan! FYI: Live Music Every Night No Cover Charge For easy parking, use Parking Garage on 12th St. & Drexel Ave. (off of Washington Ave.)

Small, intimate spot around the corner from our hotel with live singers. The night we went (mid-week) there were a handful of singers including our waitress and the bartender and they were all very good! Definitely a few steps up from Karaoke (afaik, random audience members can't just step up and torture the audience). We really liked the blind piano player too ( yelp.com/biz_photos/the-… ). Not sure if he's there every night. Check it out, if you're in South Beach.

I'm so glad we walked further west of Ocean Drive and came across The Cabaret South Beach. It's much more chill than the normal South Beach vibe, and the drinks and singing are both wonderful. We came in during happy hour and the deals were out of this world. It was very quiet when we first arrived, but as it got closer to performance time it because more and more crowded. I'd recommend coming in early to make sure you get a good seat. Strong drinks and even stronger will make your time here excellent. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Miami Beach!

Listen!!!!!!!!-Being the "Yelp Daddy"-I must approve and recommend this place! This place is what South Beach should be All about-Live GOOD music, creativity and fun! This place gave me all of those. Yo!-this place was poppin' on a Wednesday night!!!! 1st-the servers are like really "Dope" singers. Yo!-they are like singing on the bar counters. The piano dude-is crazy skilled! The service-super fun and friendly. The decor-is classy night club lounge-like! The live performances-are amazingly entertaining! The location-tucked away off the beach. The atmosphere-is charged was talent and raw musical skill. This joint is all dat! **Note: You can bring your friends here and here a good time but this is an even better place to take your spouse to on a date night or someone that you are really serious about...everybody else that you are dating ain't worth it. So, check it...I was shocked at the level of talent, service and creativity here! These people can sing while taking your order with a smile! Great vibe-if you are looking for something to do in Miami-this place should be definitely on your list of things to do on South beach! I'll come back again!

When I showed up I was told that there was a $10.00 cover charge for a show. I had checked the website earlier in the evening and there was no mention of a show, nor a cover charge. The owner didn't care and advised that I could come back after 9 if I didn't want to pay the cover charge. I do have to admit that the show was well done and it was worth the $10.00. But, the point is that you need to advise your patrons in advance before you charge them for such an event. I would give this place more stars for the talent, but the overall vibe of this place was disappointing. I ordered a grey goose and was informed that it was $16.00, which included an 18% gratuity. For 3 of those drinks I can buy a full size bottle of grey goose. I realize this is South Beach and I'm willing to pay a premium price, but this was excessive. The owner was constantly walking around and had a special "friend" at the bar who was a drunk mess. He made it feel like tourists were not welcome and that he preferred a local crowd. Very disappointing as I'm sure he fails to realize that tourism is what supports the local economy. I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews, but was very disappointed. I left this place at 10:30 on a Friday night and there were only about 12 customers in the entire place. If there was ever a place for the show "bar rescue", this is it. There is huge potential at this place (particularly with the talent), but the atmosphere is a huge turn-off.

Never been to a place like this in South Beach or back home for that matter. Everyone in this place sings: The bartenders, the waiter, the hosts. It was amazing to see people get up on that stage and belt out Amy Whinehouse, Sam Smith, Donna Summer, you name it! The cocktails are excellent with wonderful names like Lady of Soul, Rat Pack....so creative. Very intimate sexy spot. I thought I was in NYC for a minute. If your looking for something a bit more chic and grown to do in SOBE, this is definitely off the beaten path of noisy clubs off the main strip. The real treat is the male aerialist Miguel, whose performance is soo beautiful and intense. Great place to sing, sip, be entertained, and chat.
(5)Marco D.
The perfect place for us! Very welcoming atmosphere, good for a range of ages, no matter if your alone or with a group. all working staff performs. Drinks great & inexpensive. No cover. Just try it!
(5)Yaima R.
I loved the place. The performances were top notch! Service could be a little better only because the servers are also performing and don't work together to care for the drinking guests. The food choices are kind of sad.
(4)Marcella L.
This place is amazing! Spent my birthday evening listening to the sweet sounds. We are making this our date night spot. Had a blast!!!! Service, drinks, prices all were outstanding!!
(5)Milton H.
What a cool chill spot in South Beach. Place was packed on a Thursday night. Drinks were flowing, and service was fast. Loved the singing pianist and bartender. Super cool to see the acrobatics in a Jazz spot too. No doubt back in a few wks.

"COME TO THE CABARET, OLD CHUM, LIFE IS A CABARET.* Went back, we did... Not being far from my thoughts since the Yelpie event there in January, this time with different people who are now as enchanted as I am. First change, was to discover that the Arcade, vintage -video game parlor and bar is now part of Cabaret. Yup, opened up the wall and combined them and even though, that new area might be considered behind the stage, visibility of the performers is not compromised at all and I actually liked it better as conversation was possible as the majority of the speakers were in the original area. Even some of the video games remain though I didn't see anyone playing them. So I wouldn't be drinking on an empty stomach, I had a hamburger before arriving to discover that they now served food. Appetizers, but generous portions, quickly served and yummy. We shared several plates. 'The Standing Ovation' was sliced apple, Gouda cheese and crackers. 'The Encore' consisted of hummus and warm pita wedges There's also 'El Aplauso,' with guacamole and salsa and 'The Jazz Trio', with mixed nuts, salami, & pepper jack cheese. I think it might be nice if they had other items as well to alternate..... "Keepin"it fresh and innovative." Second change was to realize that the performers are alternated too. I really was looking forward to seeing Janay again. She was off, but Christina was terrific too!..In fact, ALL the performers, work between song sets as bartenders, servers, owners... something cozy, friendly about that. .Our server, Adriel, (2nd night there) took our orders, brought our drinks, and next we knew, he was on stage singing his heart out!...and as usual, the wonderful aerialist, Miguel Angel took our breath away with his sensual show of strength and grace , high above the stage while being accompanied by the EXCELLENT piano player, Freddie. ...and then, also new to me was the adorable perky flapper Natasha, tap tap taping across the stage. I also noticed, now there is a small dance floor in front of the stage Happy hour is from 8-9 and , beer, wine, and well drinks are two- for, 9.00.....very reasonable for SOBE. and every employee, in whatever capacity is very nice, welcoming, also unlike much of SOBE Parking is unusually good for the beach. Twice now, I've found a space very close to their door. .I really enjoy The Cabaret...looking forward to my next occasion there. People thought your review was: Useful 2 Funny 2 Cool 2

Cabaret is a long overdue addition to the nightlife and bar scene of South Beach, Miami Beach. It has a NYC jazz bar vibe inside, with life music and performances nightly. The staff is super friendly and fun, the bar quick and loose with the pour (as any good bar should be). Its a great place to visit if you want something different other than the typical thumpa thumpa EDM beats that permeate almost every venue on the beach nowadays. A relaxing and easy vibe, accessible to all types of people, comfortable and not stuffy. Congrats!
(5)Savani D.
This place is full of talented performers!! Not a place you think of when you think South Beach but its exactly what the beach was missing. The only two things I wasn't thrilled about was the lack of food served and the venue itself.. its extremely small. It gets packed really quick so I advise you go as early as possible to get good seats.
(4)Jeanie H.
Loved it and will go back again. Great live music, great service and a very cool spot. I went to celebrate my birthday and sorry I have not been there sooner. This is now my new favorite! Talented and a lot of surprises!
(5)Susan O.
The cabaret south beach is a must see!!! The decor is right out of a movie scene the staff is friendly all professional musicians. This place is great for any occasion pre drinking or celebrating a birthday. If you are visiting miami this is a place you must visit.

My fellowYelpers, as usual, were right on the mark with this one! I finally got an opportunity to check this place out on Saturday and it was amazing. Everyone said that the singers were great, but I did not expect them to be this phenomenal! The voices gave me goosebumps and I actually had watery eyes during one of the songs. It is amazing what powerful and beautiful voices of these people have. We got there at 8 o'clock and not much was going on. So we decided to go to another restaurant to have dinner since they only have appetizers at the Cabaret. When we returned at 9 o'clock, we were promptly seated, given a menu, and our drink orders were taken immediately. The drinks were good and considering this is South Beach, I thought they were reasonably priced. We ended up staying till past midnight because that's how fabulous this place was, so we got hungry again and ordered the hummus. It was absolutely delicious! The pita bread was so soft and warm it melted in your mouth. I tried parking at the garage that's just down the street from them, but unfortunately, on the weekends starting at 8 p.m. they have a flat rate of $15. This really sucks because any other time, it's only $1 an hour. So we drove around for a bit and found street parking. So if you want to park at the garage on the weekend, please note that after 8 PM, you are going to be paying $15 So all in all, I really recommend that you check this place out. I'm really hoping that it sticks around for a long time. The service was outstanding, the voices were absolutely phenomenal, and the drinks and food were good. So good, that I'm going back in a couple of weeks with a group of about 15 people for my cousin's birthday! I told her she absolutely had to try this place
(5)Melissa N.
Thanks to yelp we were here tonight and definitely had an amazing time! Lots of talent performing one after the other since we got in! Amazing music, good vibes, great people and drinks?! Who could ask for more on a Wednesday or any day night! The place is super cool with a the perfect decor to make you feel in a small little European cabaret it has a very cool vibe to it! Love how all the people that work here can sing and perform! Makes you feel in Broadway! The girls have amazing voices and the piano man, omg bravo! Also loved the acrobat! Great experience! Great service, everyone has a smile on since you walk in and during the whole night, it makes people realize these guys do have fun at work! Had an awesome time and next time we're bringing the gang along!

There is a place in South Beach where sensuality lives. It is located just around the corner... steps away from the long lines and booming bass of the ultra-clubs and sweaty bouncers that seem to revel in the misery of a lifestyle-obsessed Mtv generation. It is steps away in distance, but a galaxy away in its feel, mood and service and character. Walk too fast, glance at your phone too long and you'll miss it. But find it once, and you will never remember a time before you stepped into this dimly lit den of sensory delights. The Cabaret is small and intimate. It is dark and filled with little corners where you can lose yourself in the shadows with that significant other, as delicious libations gather dew on the small, circular tables in front of you. There is a small stage where a white Grand Piano sits gracefully in front of red velvet drapes eying a vintage microphone stand under a lone spotlight. Two chandeliers sway lazily to the music, cautious not to shine too brightly and ruin the mood. The bar is brimming with people lounging with ease, drink in hand watching the stage, conversing in hushed tones, laughing with grace and breathing in the atmosphere. But the centerpiece of this anomaly in Time and Space is the staff. Larger than life personalities with even bigger voices and talents who one by one (or sometimes two by two) take the stage and fill the air with such powerful melodies that you forget yourself in the beauty of this aural awesomeness. To call this a Jazz club is to limit it. This is where melody lives. In The Cabaret, performance is an art and the men and women who work here are masters who paint amazing canvases with their amazing voices and instruments. Their songs are full of heart and soul... sometimes upbeat, sometimes filled with heartbreak and sorrow, but always aimed at the heart. You can't help but be moved. Sipping a drink, you can't help but smile. This is not a tourist trap. This is the real deal. The Cabaret is an sincere homage to music. This is not South Beach. This is a time machine to an idealized long ago past that I never got to see, except in movies and only read about in books. The singers make love to the microphone with their voices as the players' fingers dance on the keys, filling every ounce of this tiny space with harmony and music. This is my new secret. Tucked away on 12th street, behind the Marlin hotel. Come with me before this, too, is gone.

Wow this place is an absolute gem! Stumbled on this place and happy we did. Great drinks. All their cocktails are around $10-$12 which isn't bad at all. The live music is phenomenal. We didn't expect the level of talent. The waitresses have such strong and beautiful voices. We ended up hanging out here for hours. (Added bonus- there is a PAC-MAN machine in the back:))

Picture this: The bartender is mixing your favorite drink just as the MC hands her the mic. She muddling the mint and the sugar with one hand as she belts a high note into the other handing holding the mic, only like a true diva can. Sounds difficult and somewhat impossible, but that's what I saw the night I went to this hidden south beach jewel where ALL the staff know how to SANG... while walking over to your table with drinks in hand and not. skipping. a. beat. The staff is not only talented and adept at multi-tasking, but they are all so nice - genuinely nice. Truly a pleasure to visit a place where there's entertainment and really good service. I'll visit again soon and may just even plan a birthday celebration here. Fun spot.

I went for Open Mic Wednesday. I ordered a round of drinks for my girlfriend and me. Before I gave my card to the woman bartender, I asked what the total was and she said $12 FOR THE ROUND. BOTH my girlfriend and I heard the bartender say "$12" when I gave her ONE card for 2 drinks. We even commented about how cheap the drinks were. The drinks weren't even that good and very weak with alcohol considering. I ordered another round, thinking the bill will be more or less $30. It came out to be $63, with $9 tip included. Each drink was 12 or 14. I confronted the bartender and she lied to my face and played stupid about telling me the total was $12. She claimed she never told me it was only $12. I paid & left because my girlfriend didn't want me to start a show since it was open mic night. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LYING THIEVES!!!!!!
(1)Alicia S.
If you want to do something different then this place is for you. Atmosphere is great. If you hungry eat before you come and drinks are okay. Great place overall.
(3)J M.
This is a touch of class in an otherwise over tourist trap area. A welcome breath of talent and service in an intimate space. Your servers are also your entertainers which makes your show more personal and fun. Make your evening here for a true show of talent, and class!!!
(5)Jason P.
Really fun time. Live music brought to you by the talented staff themselves. Good piano songs, old and new. Bring your friends or just a date, you will have fun!
(5)Ashlee B.
I've been in Miami for 6 days and just found this place on my last night to get away from the stupid monotonous Latino/Electronica music. I mean that stuff is fun but only for so long. But this place?? WOW. Awesome spot. It was only open on the 1 side on a Sunday night but a great bar, candle light, singing staff, and a piano man! I'll admit I felt sketchy about going in because of the creepy manequin in the window for their advertisement, but don't judge a book by its cover for sure. You can make song requests for the piano guys and they even let my friend go up and sing!
(5)Ken W.
Great to find a place in South Beach for adults. No overdressed club kids, no thumping music, no arrogant staff. Instead you'll find friendly servers, interesting cocktails, and some very talented performers. Friendly singles at the bar, couples at the tables, one small group. Everyone having a nice time, the only drama taking place on stage.
(4)Dana K.
LOVED this spot! My partner and I went there last night, grabbed 2 for 1 whiskey gingers, played a round of Ms. Pacman on the old school game machine (25 cents a round) and proceeded to be entertained by a group of talented performers who also provided the best service I received during this trip to South Beach. Janae (sorry if I butchered the spelling!) was such a sweet, charming and attentive server and damn, she's got some pipes! Such good energy in this place. Highly recommend checking it out whether you're local or in town for a visit!
(5)Katrina B.
To set-up the scenario: it's the night before the big 2-4. All dressed up and no place to go, several glasses of wine in and itching for a great spot with live music. I, admittingly, have never been much of a yelper (for the same reason I'm not any good at Pinterest, but that is neither here nor there,) but I am going to yelp the sh*t out of this spot because it will definitely become a new go-to! All you must know is, if you ever find yourself on South Beach between the hours of 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. with a drink or two in ya and an urge to listen to fantastic live music, this is seriously a gem (albeit, a hidden one. Don't fret if you can't find it right away. The somewhat hard-to-find door is what the little door was to Alice, a wonderland!) My friend and I lucked out and found two seats at the bar (it does get pretty packed in here! It adds to the ambiance in my opinion, but if you're seeking to sit & not stand, I'd try to get there a bit earlier.) The bartenders are all actual performers at the Cabaret and are all popping in and out every couple minutes to make sure their customers are well taken care of. The piano player was fantastic, the performers were both talented & amusing, and the vibe was just right in the room! Perfect touch of the evening: the performers sang happy birthday to me, and it was the icing on the-oh-crap-im-24-now cake.
(5)Nkemjika O.
Just a rip roaring good cabaret time. My sister and I went and we knew the piano player who really focused on making sure that all of the servers had their time to shine. The drinks were strong, the bartenders were super involved in making sure that the glasses were never empty, and I felt that they really cared about my drinking happiness!! I also loved this place because they let me get on stage and sing "One" from A Chorus Line which was pretty funny especially after I saw the video. The only thing that I would have changed would have been the fact that there were too many ballads, but other than that, parfait!!
(4)Rodrigo M.
Awesome cabaret show by talented artists... A must visit spot if you want to experience a live show in South Beach!
(5)Jacob M.
I love The Cabaret! Located just steps from the tourists traps in South Beach, this place is the real deal. I've now been back a few times and the employees are exceptionally engaging...and they perform on stage! Some major talent here, both behind the bar and on the stage. You won't find any pretentious South Beach attitude here, just staff and patrons hanging out for a good time and friendly service. I went last night and asked for a semi-obscure off-Broadway showtune, and of course the pianist knew it right away. That alone should be worth, what? Like, 3 1/2 stars? Best bet for parking is the 12th Street garage on Washington Ave, about 1 1/2 blocks to the bar. Just $1/hr.
(5)Roy K.
Lacks both jazz and space, at least it did when a friend and I visited on a Wednesday night. This is a small place with a little stage and few tables. The atmosphere seemed nice enough, but the talent on stage left a lot to be desired. I assume that's how it is when you don't have enough tables to generate much income. We left this place after one beer.
(2)Rocio P.
God knows I'm fascinated by begone eras with flappers, bobbed hair, long gloved arms and red lips, pearls, jazz sang over vintage microphones, bubbles and the sorts. Maybe I was wishing too hard to experience some of this at The Cabaret, and I felt wanting much more. The setting is perfect, I'll admit. Dark atmosphere, small tables by the bar and a small stage with a piano and a vintage microphone (yay). We did get prompt service, and quick drinks which weren't too bad for the reasonable price. The red haired girl singing by the piano as the aerialist was doing his act was great; the three of them were great (including the guy at the piano). However, probably poor management and lack of organization shadowed what could've been memorable. I'm no audio/sound expert, but even a child could've noticed the performers were struggling changing microphones back and forth, trying to make them work without luck, and the music would go from silent to loud without warning. My server's energy charged performance of Rolling on the River was completely shadowed by a background noise that was fixed only at the end of the song when we were able to finally get a glimpse of how good she really was. Then nobody really seemed to know who was next, and so It didn't surprise me when the next performer forgot her lyrics soon after she started her act and ended up leaving the stage. Shame, because what little she sang sounded beautiful. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one feeling things were off, as I saw people coming in and soon walking out, and those who remained long enough seemed to be struggling to applaud. Maybe they were having an off Saturday, or maybe I was, since most reviews seem to favor them; I'm just not crazy to find out though...

Tuesday night... The place is dead... About 20 tables with 3 chairs each plus about 10 bar chairs... Only 3 people (customers) in the whole place... We are 3 more people (two ordering a beer one a bottled water)... We were asked to leave the table because you can only sit if "each person on the table is going to consume at least teo alcoholic drinks), but that we could sit at the bar; I explain to the guy I have an injury an cannot strecht my leg... They say: sorry, but that our policy. So, I ask the manager: the place is dead, we are paying customers (the best kind: locals!!!), the place is dead, do you really need to enforce the rule? I understand if you are busy, but really? His answer: if you don't like it, sit at the bar or you can always not come back... Very clever. I tried this place on a Yelp event and love it and my friend was visiting and I convinced her this was her kind of place... Sorry sister, my bad. Stay away from this place...!
(1)David M.
Great singers who are also very nice. Great value and cozy venue. Home run! Stays open until 2 on weekdays Mailyn is a very memorable singer and everyone is personable and very talented! Not crowded until after 11 Try it!
(5)Roxanne R.
Yoli (bartender)...thank you for your Adele/Amy Winehouse-esque voice. It was SO moving. Victor (pianist/comedian/vocalist)...I can't even begin! You are comical, piano & vocally talented, witty and cuter than a bug's ear! (I'm from TX...that's means absolutely adorable). Coffee (waitress & singer)- you are a fantastic waitress and soulful singer. Overall, this was a great first time experience and we will definitely be back! Parents....on comedy night, if you are not a parent who has been COMPLETELY honest with your kids about sex, then leave them at home. The humor was adult oriented, but as fast paced as the Miami kids are (unlike TX) we told our teens EVERYTHING....and I mean EVERYTHING. They come to us with no holds barred with life questions. That being said. We all had a great time and will be back. I can't thank you enough for all the entertainment and laughs. The comedians were great too. The only thing I would suggest is, if possible, expanding the menu. The hummus and pita is great, and I'm very picky when it comes to that particular appetizer anywhere I go. The cheese, cracker, and apple plate was very nice also. I didn't try the others, so i can't say, but what we did order, which included the Pinot Grigio, was very nice. This was an extended Father's Day weekend outing for my husband and it was SO worth it. Thank you! The reason I chose 5 stars "As Good As It Gets" (instead of 4 stars "Yay, I'm a Fan") is because the people there are actually talented! Not some Karaoke off beat attempt at American Idol.
(5)Allan C.
If you are looking for a chill and relaxing place to be in South Beach, you should consider the Cabaret
(5)Kellie P.
Totally unique bar on South Beach that's like stepping back in time to my nights in NYC. Staff is so talented!! I love that the bartenders and servers are also singers! It makes for a really friendly vibe and always a great time. Perfect spot to grab a drink or sit and be entertained for the whole night.
(5)J M.
All the entertainers were both waiters and performers. Everyone went out of their way to welcome us. They loved working there and it showed and drew us in. Even the owner came over to greet us. The music was fun. The voices great and the saxophone bluesy and sweet. We had a fun evening more mellow and comfortable then the crazy loud clubs south beach is known for...a great addition.
(5)E C.
Ah Yelp- you never let me down! After my husband and I were feeling a little let down over the Miami nightlife- club after club after club with house music blaring- we referred to Yelp and found this gem. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle we almost passed it. I've been to a lot of piano bars and wasn't sure what to expect of this one, but it by far surpassed the rest. It's small and intimate. There was one woman bartending, one serving, and a man playing the piano when we walked in. The cool part about this place is that ALL of them could sing and play instruments!!! What a talented group of people. They took the time to know our names, ask where we were from, and genuinely seemed to care- a breath of fresh air from the lack luster customer service we had received at the other places we had been to that night. You would think with the staff serving and performing the service would be slow but no- these people are on it!!! And they're funny!!! The man playing the piano (I wish I could remember their names!!!) called us out for being on our iPhones and started singing "iPhones everywhere!" It cracked me up. They take song requests and obliged to playing some Lorde for me. We also came during happy hour and got buy-one-get-one for our drinks. All in all, words can't really express how much we loved this place. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Small, intimate, romantic, and fun. They even got everyone at the bar to say "happy anniversary!" when we had to leave. I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! Thank you for making our night one to remember! Sincerely, Maryland :)
(5)Polly A.
5 star!!! We will be back whenever we come back again. The talents here are amazing and fun. The crowd is great too. We are totally entertained and totally enjoying ourselves here.

Just go! So much fun and sincere performers/ servers... You will not regret. Something for everyone. Came with 3 teens... :-)

I don't give too many mediocre reviews (my review history will attest to that), but I just can't justify giving any more than 2 stars here. My wife and I visited the Cabaret on a Tuesday night during a short vaca in South Beach. Being a Tuesday night, the place wasn't packed - probably around half-full. The performers were great, but it was nearly impossible to get a drink from the bartender. My wife and I sat towards the end of the side bar for over 15 minutes (there were other people seated there as well), during which time the bartender never bothered to look down our way to see if we needed anything. I finally had to go grad one of the servers (also a performer) to get a drink. Note to horrible bartender: If you work as a bartender, make sure you monitor the entire bar, not just the people you feel like flirting with. In any case, the bartender finally made it down our way about 30 minutes later, at which point I was more than ready to roll. He said it was $7 and change for the crap beer I'd ordered, and then didn't bother to give me exact change - he conveniently just rounded the price up to $8. Very disappointed in my first visit here. Maybe I'll give it another shot next time I'm down there and hope for a different bartender...

I have been lax about writing this review. I love this place. The staff is very talented. Great drink prices and a nice start to a night on the town or an after dinner treat!

Chill atmosphere (No cover!) !! My friend and I were in Miami over vacation and wanted to check out a chill place to hang out before hitting the clubs and this place is it! Great music, good service, and pretty chill place to hang out. The bartender doubles as one of the singers for a song, pretty small crowd, but a nice place to hang in general. Not a 5 because I feel like 4 people are running the entire place (bartender, 2 backup singers, and pianist/singer) and I feel like they could do better were they to have more staff.

Love love love this place! Everyone is always so pleasant and approachable. The drinks are yum and named after Broadway stars or screen divas. The performances are spectacular! The venue is cozy and intimate . The decor is vintage glam. I almost want to keep this place a secret because I don't want it do get to crowded or change ! All types of music genres welcome. I can't say enough good things about this spot.

A must see if you're in South Beach. Musical talent is excellent; concert-level caliber. Service is very friendly. Probably the most memorable place I went to in South Beach.

Been here twice so far and love it! Great place to relax with some cocktails and listen and watch some great performances. A place South Beach was needing. With that being said, the down side is the venue is small. And the only thing worse, is having to stand the whole time when there were tables reserved for almost 2 hours before anyone sat down. I get reservations, but why would anyone want to go a place to relax and stand the whole time? Let people sit and remind them that they are reserved and will be ask to leave the table when guest shows up. I'm in love with the place and have told all my clients about it. This matter will be the reason and only reason I would quit coming to this amazing business. I hope the figure these issues out.

We went on a Tuesday night at 11pm and the smell of mold - musty basement was so strong we had to leave after a few minutes. The piano player sounded good and the place looked cool. It appeared to be just big enough for 50 people. To bad it smelled so moldy.

This place is amazing! Highly recommend it! The happy hour is a great deal. There's no food here, so make sure you eat before visiting.

Been here twice, both on a Tuesday, and had a nice time with plenty of space to relax. Very skilled performers, solid friendly service, and tasty reasonably priced drinks. It's a little oasis within the hustle and pretentiousness that surrounds.

This place is real. Incredible professional musicians who also are personable and serve perfectly crafted cocktails. No cover charge. I could feel comfortable here with anyone regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, etc. It's simply a classy, but not pretentious, affordable place to be entertained, run into people you know or meet cool new people. Edison Farrow has spent years creating an amazing social network, and he is providing the perfect atmosphere for wonderful people to meet one another. This place is truly unique and fabulous. It's like a microcosm of Miami Beach, gay men, lesbians, straight couples, all colors, ages, shapes and sizes with one goal, to be entertained. Fabulous! (Markers Mark Manhattans are top notch.)

The beach has long needed this place. Low lights. Great music. Friendly bar tenders. Lots of gorgeous furniture and gorgeous people. Gay/straight friendly. Cabaret is everything that's great about Miami Beach nightlife. Perfect location, to boot.

Great place. Walked in with a few friends who knew the owner and WOW was it awesome. It was a Friday night. Piano bar was great. They also had a guy swinging from the ceiling. Price of drinks were reasonable. Atmosphere was good. The bartenders were pretty cool as well. They all sang and participated during the night with the piano guy. Overall great place to hang out with friends.

I attended one of the grand opening nights and this place is fantastic!! If you want to come, sit and have a drink with friends and listen to some amazing singers and performers, this is the place for you. This place brings a little New York to Miami in the best way. Drinks are very reasonable prices for South Beach standards and I'll definitely be going back. Go, you won't regret it!

NYC Piano Bar feel with great drinks in real glasses. Staff is very friendly and service was terrific. The talent is great and it's still easy to have conversation when music is playing. Very comfortable to hang out before or after doing something else.

Stopped by here on the last night of my vacation, it was a Monday so it was a bit slow inside. The staff were uber-friendly, and it was great fun to hear the performers while enjoying a nice drink with my girlfriend. No cover, friendly staff, good performers... I approve!

Fantastic music and vibe...unfortunately the drinks were a mess. Two of the worst (sloppy and overpriced) cocktails I've ever had.

This is the most amazing discovery! A cozy Manhattan like live music lounge where the servers and bartenders also perform. A must on your south beach agenda. The talent is great and the drinks are actually reasonable.
