Forever eating chicken enchilada soup. I keep going back for more! I travel for work and if I don't get there before 7pm I am devastated. Seriously, hands down best soup of all time! Friendly staff! This place rocks!

Good value, great service(very friendly) and most important of all the soup was delicious. Will be coming back(I hope). Very happy with my meal here.

Love this place. Their Chicken Enchilada Soup is fabulous!

Pros: Diverse selection, surprisingly good sandwiches, the famous chicken enchilada Cons: A bit pricey, not all soups are winners The key to enjoying this place is try before you buy. They'll let you sample anything. The chicken enchilada is a home run; the french onion is a strikeout. I tried to order it and was told it costs $2 more than the other soups. A small soup is already $5, so that extra charge is a bit nuts. Otherwise, very good place.

I stopped by to get some soup today. The Soup Shop had one of my favorites on the hot soup list-- Chicken Enchilada. A little spicy and very tasty. I got it To Go as I had a basket full of groceries I'd just purchased at Publix.

So when I left NYC one if the things I miss is the great soup shops that can be found there. My absolute favorite was Hale & Hearty's Corn Chowder. Just the other day while at Publix I noticed a new business had opened. It was a soup shop!!!! A few days later I stopped in. The place is a big kitchen with a huge variety of soups available for take away either refrigerated or frozen. I saw that corn chowder was available and bought a pint. When I got home I simply warmed it up in the microwave. It was delicious and creamy. Just how I like it!!! So if you are in the mood for soup. There is just one place to go in Melbourne. The Soup Shop!!!

I recently started a work assignment at EFSC and noticed The Shop Shop one day while grabbing lunch at Firehouse. During the cold spell earlier in the month, I decided to check it out on my break. After reading other reviews, I decided on the chicken enchilada. I don't even like black beans and I couldn't get enough of it. I wish I had a second bowl. The bread that also came along with the meal was very fresh and tasteful. I since went back for more chicken enchilada and I've tried the New England clam chowder which isn't bad but nothing to write home about either. I'm looking to try other flavors during my stay in Melbourne.

I wanted to love The Soup Shop so badly. The concept is awesome--tons of soups available in bulk containers to take home and eat, with a few selections of hot soups to eat on the spot. Soup is my favorite type of food, and something that I've never really seen on the Space Coast, so my sister and I were super excited to go in and try The Soup Shop. It's on the very left side of the plaza (we spent a good while circling the plaza to find it,) and the interior of the shop looks like a warehouse--it's full of fridges and such to make and store the soups. However, the women at the front were very kind, and the soups of the day were listed out front. My sister and I are both vegetarians, so we appreciated the fact that the soups were supposedly labeled as vegan or vegetarian when applicable. We ended up ordering a $10 special, which was 2 soups + 1 baguette. We got the Butternut Squash and Pumpkin Soup and Mulligatawny Soup--both of which were listed as vegetarian on the front windows. The women were very sweet in making conversation with us and giving us the order. The Butternut Squash Soup was average. It was not as flavorful as we would have liked, but it was still enjoyable, especially with the *incredible* baguette. The Mulligatawny Soup tasted a bit off to us... it was spicy and full of vegetables, but something tasted wrong. What was it? Oh. We just discovered a huge like, chunk of chicken at the bottom of the soup. My sister and I were in a hurry to leave, as we had something after to do, so we didn't point this out to the women in the shop at the time, but this is pretty unacceptable. There were apparently 2 type of Mulligatawny Soup, we later found out, but the hot soups of the day should also be clearly marked as veg then, in order to prevent issues like this from happening. I really do hope to return to The Soup Shop some day, as I love the concept. I just hope that my soup will be more flavorful... and not randomly have meat in it when I'm not expecting it.

Great soup and so many choices! You can try a soup before buying and they always have several different kinds of fresh soup available. If you're ever having a soup craving this is the place to go.

If you like soup this place is for you. With samples daily on all of their featured dishes, its hard to choose a favorite. But no matter which soup you choose, its no less than pleasing. So many more to try, but so far, not once have I been disappointed with the quality or service this shop has to offer.

Great little place for lunch! They post their daily menu on Facebook. I had the corn chowder which was delicious.

After stumbling across this place while searching online I decided to go and check it out. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if this was my first time here so I was given the run down on the specials. I decided to go with a bowl of soup and half of a chicken salad sandwich and for the note I'm actually not the biggest fan of them and have maybe only had 6 in my life. I opted for the chicken enchilada soup which was suggested as the favorite. I took a seat outside and started to dig in. The chicken enchilada soup was amazing, some I've had are more on the broth side and others are more on the cream side, this one is perfectly set in the middle of broth and cream. Now onto the chicken salad sandwich. I unwrapped the tinfoil and found half a baguette hollowed out and filled with the salad, pretty interesting concept I thought. After my first bite the first thing I said out loud to myself was wow, it could be my amateur tastes for chicken salad sandwiches but this thing was beyond exceptional. Perfect amount of sweetness, creamy, nice amount of chicken, celery and raisins. In the end I was so excited that I have found another top notch place that wont break my wallet. I cant wait to bring my family and coworkers here!

Good variety but prices keep going up from when they first opened. Found that several of the soups are too salty for our tastes.

Fantastic selection and great tasing soups. Tried a few different flavors and ordered Creamy Mushroon, Chicken Enchilada and Chicken Noodle. The Chicken Enchilada soup was just way too awesome to describe! Loved it!!

Awesome soup. Have tried many of the varieties and have never been disappointed. LOVE, it is a trip from Palm Bay but so worth it :-)

It was my first visit and for sure not my last. Definitely a large kitchen for making the soups that are mostly frozen for take-out purposes. Plus 4 daily hot soups ready to eat. I tasted the Hearty Italian...oh! So flavorful and hearty! The cashier was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I've stopped here 3 times to get hot soup for lunch and at the same time bought a quart to take home. So far I've tried cream of mushroom, sausage & escarole, green chile chicken, she crab and lobster bisque. They have all been delicious!!!

Delicious and excellent soup. I picked a quart of chicken and dumpling and beef stew for dinner during the week. Chicken and dumpling absolutely delicious and will pick up quart again. Had the beef stew tonight and very delicious as well. Great comfort food during the chilly nights in Florida this time of year.

We got some soup today. The girl there was very quick and helpful. She gave us a card, if you buy 10 you get one free. We got some white chicken chili. Our whole family enjoyed it. I can't wait to try another.

I ordered the Italian Wedding soup because I had no idea what it was. Happily, it was really herb heavy, with cute little noodlettes that I didn't have to slurp rudely in my work meeting, and tiny meatballs that I didn't have to bite into and get broth all over my face. Little mouthful-sized meatballs, and whole leaves of baby spinach. It went perfectly with my beet chips and edamame hummus from Publix (based on what I saw of Publix, I wish CA had one).

Soup. It makes up part of my soul. (Tacos make up the rest, but that's for another review.) So, I moved away from Melbourne 8 years ago. Of course this place pops up a few years later. But hey, what can ya do? You go there for lunch two days in a row, that's what. We discovered The Soup Shop yesterday, and what a warm welcome we were given! The staff greeted us immediately, and offered us samples of the hot soups available (there were about a dozen listed). I had the Creamy Mushroom. It was rich and hearty, with a deep earthy flavor of fresh sliced mushrooms. I also tried the Creamy Chicken with Wild Rice. This one had a great chicken flavor, lots of veggies and plenty of the wild rice. They have half a dozen refrigerators and freezers right in front where they store the quart sizes that can be taken home. Also available are fresh made quiches and homemade sauces and salsa. They also ship all over the country, however, the cost is way higher than I can justify. ($38 for a half gallon of soup, not including the shipping costs.) If I lived locally, I would be here ALL. THE. TIME.
