Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. This place is awesome! Has a really great atmosphere the minute you walk in- for the same price at McDonald's you get made to order burgers and fries! Love the 50s feel to it- vibrant colors- great music- classic seating. Fries are dabomb.com Will always come back when in mood for a great burger!

The first time I went here was during Friday Fest around 7 pm and it was so busy! I ordered the smaller burger with everything on it which was about $8. We sat outside because the inside was packed and there was a huge line to order to which made it hard to get in the door. After about 45 minutes for our food came, but since it was Friday Fest we got to drink beer while waiting so it was still entertaining. I was surprised at the size of the burger and the buns looked freshly made (which seems hard to come by these days). All the ingredients were fresh and it really tasted like it was worth the money. I have yet to go back but wouldn't pass up the opportunity.

I started eating at The Burger Place when they were off a side street downtown. I've loved everything I have ever gotten there. There burgers are huge for the price and the meat is very fresh and the buns are to die for. Everything is fresh and made to order, which I think is great. The reason I deducted a star though is that sometimes the service is slow, even if they aren't busy.

I went here once and will never go again. I had one of the worst, if not the absolute worst, hamburgers from there. The selling point from the cashier was that they make the buns on site, but once I got the burger, I thought they probably should be buying buns from someone who knows how to make them. The fries were so bad I ended up throwing most of them away. The shake was pretty decent, but I don't like paying $4 for 8 oz of shake. I know this place has its fans, but I'm really not sure why. There are much better places to get burgers, especially right down the street since it's in Downtown Melbourne. It is cute since they're trying to go for the 50's diner look, but the food is terrible!
(1)Gary F.
The fresh buns are to die for. The burgers were tasteless and unsatifying. Fries were ok. Decor was nice. No real rush to return for more burgers here.

My boss and I had a late lunch there about 3 weeks ago. This place was really neat, looked like an old time diner. There was plenty of seating, only 4 people, other than us, was eating. We ordered our burgers, sat down. I'm not sure if it was due to anticipation, or if because I was in a new place, the food took a really long time to arrive. Presentation was good, the burger and fries looked delicious. When I lifted the bun the burger appeared to be small, sitting on this big bun. The taste was decent, the bun was just right, but the beef maybe could use some seasoning. The fries were good, but other than the bun, nothing really stood out. The food was not greasy like at Five Guys, and also not as tasty, but they do share similar prices, in ways I guess Five Guys would be a better deal because they throw in a ton of extra French Fries with your order of fries. I suppose you're paying for the ambience at the Burger Place. To sum it all up, my visit there was positive, the food was good, as well as the service, the price was a little high, which means that it's not an everyday lunch spot, maybe every other month. Nothing to write home about, or to feature on the food channel, unless they come up with a new to die for menu item, or better theme. Anythings possible. Parking sucked, you had to park a block away and walk to the place, but it's like that for many places in downtown Melbourne.

I was very happy to have a nice home made burger! Lovely 50's decorated place. Will go back when in town!
(5)Stephan L.
The Burger Place in Melbourne offers a simple menu with burgers and homemade buns and fries, custom toppings and malted shakes. It's simply the best burgers place in town and they are affordable too. The atmosphere of the dining room is just great with white and chrome chairs and tables and nostalgic photos on the walls. It has the air of a restaurant that do things right. The vibe inside this Burger Place is amazing and Karine, the owner, is just the nicest person in the world. Go check it out!

Got the 16oz. Cheese Burger.... very delicious and juicy. Staff is friendly and courteous. However, was told they were out of grilled onions, but was offered raw onions instead. I guess the cook didn't realize he could have just thrown the raw onions on the grill and whalah...you have grilled onions, but they didn't offer. Lettuce and tomatoes fresh and crisp, definitely will come back. Overall had a pleasant experience...not too bad for an establishment only 2+ years old. Has a 50's diner/industrial decor. I like it.
(4)Diana L.
The best burger in the area! The buns are fresh and homemade, the burger is juicy, and the best part is you tell them what you want on your burger. I absolutely love how the kids meal come in a 1950s paper boxed car that the kids can take home amd play with.
(5)Reema S.
What makes a good burger? Bun Beef Preparation The bun was nice, but tasted a little sweet which was odd. I did appreciate the fact that it was made fresh in house which is a plus. The exterior was a little chewy but that's not a big deal. The beef was a total disappointment. It was flavorless, chewy and rubbery and lacked any character. I highly doubt it was even seasoned. The burger came overcooked. I had a slice of ghost pepper jack cheese on my burger and the spice from it was the only reason that kept me going while eating. The mushrooms and onions were fresh on my burger but then again if your patty isn't good then the toppings can only help so much. i also had to wait 20+ mins. For a food burger that's acceptable but when the burger is mediocre it just leaves you sad. Will probably not eat here again.

Went to The Burger Place for lunch and LOVED it!!!! Everything was fresh including the sweet tea! My family and I agree this is the best burger place in Melbourne!!
(5)Azalia R.
Heaven packed between two buns...homemade buns! Fries were crispy and fresh and the chocolate espresso shake was delicious! Seriously, we loved this place and the service was fast. We'll be back!
(5)Kristen S.
All around great burger and fries. The fresh baked bun and fresh beef made a big difference. I really enjoyed the fries too. I don't think I'd come here when I was in a hurry, but we gave up fast food a while ago in favor of great food.
(5)Stephanie P.
The burgers are outstanding. The fresh made buns are quite delicious and really enhance the flavor of the burger. The atmosphere inside is clean and fun. The staff is friendly and efficient. We came here on vacation and will definitely return next time we're in the area.
(5)Lali D.
Well cooked, no frills burger, made to order. Sizes from 4oz to 16oz(!!) burgers. The large fries was generous enough for a family to four to share. We ate for around $50. I felt like it was a little steep for counter service, but everyone are every bite. Nice, covered outdoor seating available with good fans. We'll be back.
(4)Chris H.
The best burger I've found in Brevard County! I am not in Melbourne often, but when I am, I make it a point to stop here. The buns and ground beef are fresh and you can taste the quality in the burger. Local beer on draft, outside seating available, and the restroom is always clean.
(5)Don U.
I love their burgers with home made rolls add home made fries on the side. A little pricey for a burger but worth it! Strait across from Meg's
(5)Carrie R.
Quaint and straight forward, no frills burger joint that also carries some good beer. Ordered the Bleu burger medium with some fries. No complaints. Bleu cheese to burger ratio was on point too. The meat was cooked perfectly medium and the fries were fresh, crispy yet tender on the inside. Seating outside is pleasant and great for people watching. I recommend for those looking for a simple, cute, and hassle-free burger joint. Definitely worth it.
(4)Jon D.
I would love to tell everyone that it was terrible so I done have to wait in line as often. BUT the reality is that this is the go to spot for burgers in Brevard county. No one does it better.
(5)Jessica L.
Yummy is the best word I can use to describe it. The buns are perfect and not overwhelming. The burger and stuff on the burger is super fresh and nice. Their fries, which they make fresh everyday come out perfect. With some crunchy and some softer. But the Buns are the star of the burger. Also, freshly made daily, they are wonderful. And they have a nice outside area to enjoy while you eat.
(5)James B.
Good burgers and fries, Adult 8oz. burger $6 99, Fries are $2.99 large size (good for two) soda $1.99/2.99 with refills included. The kids meal combo was $8.50 and was served in a cardboard car ....
(4)Josh D.
(The good) Nice retro diner feel, beer on draft, friendly staff, good fries. (The bad) Everything about the burger was fresh and delicious with the exception of the burger patty itself which was mediocre at best. The wait time was ridiculous for two burgers with fries. The prices were also fairly steep for what you get. All in all nothing spectacular but not bad either, probably wouldn't eat there again.
(3)T U.
As a local I'm always looking for a good place to eat. I heard about "The Burger Place" so I took my teenage son there. We've eaten at all the local Burger places and they are all so so, definitely nothing to write home about. The Burger Place is different. It is Clean. The employees are Friendly. The Burgers and French Fries are Great. The menu is fairly priced. This is not a "Fast Food Joint." Each burger is made to your liking so there is a little wait, but it is well worth the wait. The Fries are crispy golden brown outside with a tender center. I've taken several of my friends there and everybody really like it. This is a good place to go for lunch when you are in Down Town Melbourne.
(4)Katherine S.
The Brioche bun is golden, and pillowy soft. Great fries, crispy delicious and salty. I highly recommend!
(4)Dan U.
Best burger in Melboure, hands down! They make their own buns, and their meat is incredible. This place is worth checking out. It is the case of if you only do one thing, you might as well do it well!
(5)Kirsten W.
I just ate lunch here today and it's probably like the 3rd time and every single time their burgers are DELICIOUS! They are huge but so so good :)
(5)Michael D.
Bun, burger and fries all excellent, my daughters kids meal came in a little pink T-Bird which she thought was great. Food prep took a little longer than I would have expected, but, worth the wait.
(4)Joe S.
Went here on Sunday 11/9/2014. Although normally closed on Sundays it was open because of the fall festival. I had a burger with Jalapenos and bleu cheese. I had fries with it. The burger was very good, the cheese authentic and the bun was good. The fries are shoestring-like which I do not normally like but they were good. The menu is limited as it should be. There is no wait service so you order and sit down. They bring the food to you after it is done. The only thing not good was the fact they did not ask how I like my burger, which was medium rare and it came out well done. That was partly my fault as I should have told them but a burger place should still remind a customer. This is a very good place to get a burger and fries. I would be back.
(4)Gregory A.
This is the BEST burger place in the whole wide world. Always great service, clean as can be, the kitchen is right there in front of you and everyone is cheerful and neat. You can get anything you want on your burger and there are no up charges...and the best part for me, they will cook it really really rare for me. You can eat in doors or out.. I drive 40 minutes to get to this place and its worth every minute.
(5)Brandon S.
I had a cheeseburger, fries and a beer for $15. It seemed like a very long wait to get my order seeing as the place was dead when I arrived. Service was friendly albeit not quick. Food was tasty and fresh, but I'm not sure the burger was worth $7. Nice, spacious outdoor patio area. Located right across from Meg O'Malleys.
(3)Maarten M.
The first impresion was that everything looks nice and clean. The burger was good. The bun and fries where fresh and that was nice! Overal nothing more than just a good burger.
(4)José A.
The first two things I noticed about the place were the slightly 50s retro feel and how clean it appeared. The cleanliness seems so outta place with a burger joint, but somehow, this place pulls it off. Inside it's light, airy, and clean, and it is as well on their outside patio. Food-wise, well, it's a burger joint. There's not much to distinguish it from other burger places, other than they do try to get the food out quick and the waitresses are relatively friendly. Not much complaint on the food as it was cooked well and all the ingredients tasted really fresh. Overall, it was a great place to hangout and people-watch on a not-so-hot Saturday afternoon.
(3)J D.
Went here with the family on a lovely summer evening and were able to sit outside. Very clean, nice atmosphere, staff friendly enough, good burgers all around, made to order. We would come back here.
(4)Lucas P.
Probably the best burgers I've ever had in my life. I discovered this place when they were at their old location down the street. The homemade buns, the fries, and of course the burger are all top notch. Everything is prepared to your specifications. Very clean facilities and the staff/owners are very friendly. The smaller combo is enough to fill me up and I'm a big guy. I recommend this place to people all the time.
(5)Marilyn D.
A friend wanted to go here much to my dismay I agreed. The burger was great one problem I could taste it for days the aftertaste was awful. I had a Caesar Salad which was soooooo disappointing and expensive for a bowl of lettuce. The service could improve. Next time I dine across the road. Meg O'Malleys will never let you down.
(2)Kathie B.
Great burger. Homemade bun and fries. A little slow. NOT fast food. Delish! Get extra napkins. Friendly service.
(5)Ruthi J.
This place is amazing for burgers! We have become so partial to this place that it makes it hard to eat a burger anywhere else!
(5)Francis C.
Best tasting burger meat in Brevard. Ordered it with bleu cheese and sautéed onions, both delicious. Burger done to perfection per my order (medium). Also ordered a "thin" strawberry shake, which came perfectly done. Steak & Shake can never get it right for me; they must think that everyone in the world likes to suck the breath out of their lungs drinking a shake or using a soup spoon to eat it. Fries came as advertised - hot and tasty, perfectly fried, not killed or soggy ala Five Guys.
(5)Josh L.
"I had 300 happy customers today, so if you are angry, I don't care." - The female owner after I requested my money back after a 40 minute wait without service. Because it was Friday fest, they had their doors wide open- causing it to be 84 degrees inside (according to the thermostat,) and gnats were swarming our table. They only closed up after the folks with antique cars were outside revving their engines- causing gas fumes to leak inside. Leaving your doors wide-open without an insect suppression system is a violation of health code for good reason... Flies can land on toilet seats, used napkins, etc... Then land on your food. It's disgusting, and I think they should put the health of their patrons above the potential profits they earn from an "open door policy." Oh, but the other two people in our four-top were served. They were finished eating by the time I finally called it quits. The gentleman owner laughed as I became angrier that they had initially refused a refund. My friends and family know that I'm one of the most patient and considerate people out there. I will withstand nearly all incompetence. When they "didn't see" two people at a table EATING food, and two people without it-- and then tried to turn it around on me with "Well, you should have said something," I was furious. That's when she made the remark about having "300 'happy' customers," today. It isn't my responsibility to tell you what your job is. When you see yourselves clearly failing a room full of people, the least you could do is apologize. I LOVE dining local places, and I had genuinely been looking forward to dining here. I think the highlight was when she walked away and under her breath called me an "asshole," then began yelling at me when I called her on it. "I DO NOT SPEAK LIKE THAT," she exclaimed, whilst never explaining what she DID say, although I did ask her to clarify what she said so that I could apologize if I'd misunderstood her. Let me offer a local alternative: Petty's Meat market sells fresh beef and buns. You'll have MORE flavor, better food, and you won't be argued with by unapologetic, clearly-failing-their-customers owners. Sadly, though, you'll have to cook it yourself. I cannot stress enough what a terrible time we had, and it was punctuated by the absolute lack of concern by their owners. I'd wonder how they sleep at night, but I think I know the answer: They simply do not care.

Best burgers and fries. Love the diner feel. The best is this place is spotless. NO REALLY. One of the cleanest places I have seen. Awesome!!!
(5)Carlos V.
Excellent food, people, and place. The buns are hand made and the beef is delicious. Each burger is made with love.
(5)Chris D.
In a word, YUM. Best burger I've had in a long time. The real winner for me was the real milk shakes! Nothing like a tasty burger, good fries, and a chocolate shake.
(4)Clay S.
I had been die n to eat here . AWESOME. Wish my stomach could hold more. Good for a burger fix.
(4)Steve L.
They moved to a new building. Decor is cool. You order your burger the way you want it.
(4)Michael M.
I ask Niki what she wants to have for dinner. She says I am going to hate her because she wants a burger, a really good burger. Now we have been trying to eat healthier lately but I couldn't resist the prospect of a really good burger. I suggest to her that we try that new place in downtown that we saw over the weekend. It was the perfect opportunity to take the Harley for a ride so we got ourselves together and out the door we went. When I turned to lock the door I could see Finnegan's cute little face looking back at me in the window. He is such a good boy, so loyal, and hates to see us go even for a short while. Upon arriving at The Burger Place I immediately noticed the 50s style interior. What I liked best was the pictures on the wall which represented the local area back in what I guessed was the late 50s to early 60s. We placed our orders and I am happy to report that they accept credit cards. Niki ordered the 8oz cheeseburger with blue cheese and a bottle of water. I ordered the 8oz burger with american, large fries for us to share, and a vanilla milkshake. We took a seat at one of the comfy booths and waited while they worked their magic in the kitchen. So after a bit of a wait our order number was called and I went to fetch our meal. So now comes to the important part, the first bite. It was good but the meat was overcooked and over peppered. The meat had a taste more like a meatloaf than a hamburger but that is possibly what they are going for here. They went a little to light on the cheese in my opinion for an 8 oz burger. One more slice could have made all the difference but I'm a cheese lover so there you go. The best part of the burger was sadly the bun. How can you do such a great job picking the kind of bun you are going to serve and not get the meat right? The fries were good but nothing to write home about and the shake fell flat being very thin and lacking flavor. So overall our experience was OK but their is room for improvement. If they can stop over cooking their meat, improve the taste of their fries and shakes than we might have a winner here. I like the downtown area and this would make for a good long term addition to the area. They are going to need all the edge they can get with competition from Burger Inn and Five Guys just around the corner.
(3)Matt W.
Finally a place where I can get a real burger and not pay an arm and a leg. A 1 lb. burger for only $8.50, that's what I'm talking about. Nice 50's decor also.
(5)Joe K.
I enjoyed the place, a limited menu of burgers and chicken sandwiches but all home made and tasty. The bun was the best part, home made and soft and doughy. Loved that. The fries were pretty good also. Good burger joint.
(4)Jayvo S.
A friend told me about The Burger Place so I tried it. Well, I am hooked! Great food and reasonably priced too. I reccommend it to everyone
(4)MOna J.
I can get a nutella sandwich?! yes. I love the burgers here, the buns are amazing. the service is as fast as I need it to be. the people are super nice.
(5)Briana M.
The Burger Place is by far the BEST burger place I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. The employees are always really sweet, everything (including the buns) is made fresh, and the burger just melts in your mouth. Every burger I've had has been cooked to perfection, and the milkshakes!!! I can't say enough about the milkshakes! They are so thick, creamy and full of flavor, the chocolate espresso is to die for. A while back I quit eating fast food due to the terrible quality, but have never once had a bad experience eating at The Burger Place. I refuse to order a burger anywhere else. A word of advice though- if you get any of the sauteed toppings (onions, mushrooms) they will make your burger considerably more greasy. If that's not the kind of thing you're going for, you might want to skip those toppings.
(5)Maggie W.
A burger that hits that spot! Bun was great and you could tell the french fries were homemade, nice and potato-ey. Price was just right and the food was just what you want in a burger joint. Dinner for two for under 20 bucks. Reserved one star because you don't have a choice in burger temperature.
(4)Amanda D.
Cool little spot. The burgers overall were ok, but kind of greasy. What saved it for me is the homemade bun, that was exceptional. Do yourself a favor and skip the french fries. I had a malt and it was actually pretty good. Id go back again if I was downtown and hungry but wouldn't go out of my way.
(3)Danny H.
I loved this place from the moment I walked in. The menu is refreshingly simple: burgers (4, 8 or 16 oz.), fries, milkshakes and little else. The concept is '50s hamburger joint but I'll bet few burger joints of that era could match the quality of what they have done with this place. The burgers are perfectly cooked and served on homemade buns. The fries are fresh-cut thin and delicious. The atmosphere is bright and squeaky clean and the staff genuinely friendly.
(4)Richard S.
Problems Fixed: The Burger Place has fresh lemons upon request (they are not kept by the tea dispenser) and the tea dispensers have very small labels on the handles of the dispensers. On my second trip the fries had improved quite a bit. Still not as good as five guys but a step above the national chains. I have increased the rating to 4 stars to reflect these changes).
(4)David T.
This is a well cooked burger with great fries at a fair price. AWESOME!
(4)Cara C.
We discovered this treasure last weekend and were so excited and happy with this place! The owners put a lot of money into the restoration. The food itself is AMAZING...probably the best burger I've had. We both got the "mini" that was included in the combo meal. The mini was about 4 or 5 oz and was just enough to full me up. The toppings are endless...and the buns are homemade. (Very soft and buttery!!!) The fries are perfect shoestrings that have a crisp outside and a potatoey mooshy inside. If you have room left in your tummy, please try the shakes. I had the Chocolate Expresso and was better than any Starbucks Fraps. Yum Yum!
(5)Dan T.
This place is terrible, the burger was half decent but the fries were oily and gross. You can get way better fries at any fast food chain. The prices are insane I got a burger and fries for $12.63!!!! How does a place like this stay open?? AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
