I got some takeout soup which was most excellent. The person that took the order gave me instructions on reheating and assembly of the soup. That's correct, assembly. Certain things in certain order. Kinda cool and again, it was delicious.

Mmmmm, again another awesome meal. The Pad Thai is totally awesome. If you want truly authentic Thai food that has so much flavor you need to eat at the Thai Kitchen. You can really taste the love and passion in each dish.from the family owned restaurant. Also, there is a minium credit card use of $15.

I had to laugh, at the time of this review every other posted review refers to this restaurant using the same exact clichéd phrase within the first two sentences. So much for originality! Ironically, it's really not... umm... that thing they say (I want my review to be the only one that *doesn't* say it so I'll have to dance around the wording). Its size is not uncommonly small for a family-owned local restaurant, and it's not dirty, nor is it particularly dark. The menu contains a lot of standard Thai fare, along with a number of inexpensive lunch options and a section of "Daily Lunch Specials", which is humorously a permanent part of the laminated menu. I ordered what was essentially the Pad See Ew lunch (under $7) although I believe the menu was using one of the several alternate spellings of the dish. The lunch included a spring roll with a small bowl of sauce for dipping. Imagine my surprise when I dug into the dish only to realize that this unassuming little restaurant had just produced what I believe to be the best Pad See Ew I have ever tasted. And that's no small feat -- I get the Pad See Ew at least once at every Thai restaurant I go to. I use it as a measuring stick to determine whether or not I'm likely to come back to try the restaurant again, i.e. "If you can't even cook a good Pad See Ew, what are the odds you'll be able to cook something more complicated?" So now I'm torn -- I'm in love with that place in Orlando, and I guess it can remain my favorite Orlando Thai restaurant... but holy wow can Thai Kitchen make a great Pad See Ew!! The noodles were perfectly cooked, not at all mushy or underdone, and the greens were fresh tasting and not soggy. Overall there was a surprising amount of flavor and I ended up picking every last microscopic morsel off the plate with my chopsticks in an attempt to delay the sad, inevitable end of the meal. The waitress was quick throughout our lunch, refilling our glasses as needed. A couple of things to note before coming in though: No fountain drinks, so if you drink a lot of fluids or you're ordering something spicy, best to stick with water or iced tea. They are closed on Thursday which is kind of random, and there is a $15 minimum for credit card purchases. So unless you're picking up the tab for a friend, you'll pretty much have to pay cash for lunch.

The best Thai I have ever had! Absolutely amazing Thai spaghetti!
(5)Charles C.
Went for lunch and had a delicious seafood salad. The shrimp, squid and mussels were cooked to perfection.
(5)Julie B.
Yep - I finally found the best Thai food in the area. Look no further. What this place may lack in atmosphere or service, they make up for in authentic, legit Thai food. The panang curry was spot on, the pad thai tasted like is was right off the streets in Bangkok! Yum yum yum!
(5)Scott M.
Hands-down best Thai food in all of Melbourne trust me I've tried them all. Their Thai beef jerky is like crack. We have ordered takeout from here dozens of times and have never had one bad dish.
(5)Scott S.
Eh... it's ok. Anyone giving this place 5 stars has never had really good Thai food. It's great for the dumpy area that is Melbourne, FL yet it's WAY WAY overpriced. We spent $48 including the tip for two people. They don't use baby corn, they use fish oil base ehh, the tom kha soup was even fishy instead of sweet and coconut tasting as it should be. The chicken satay was so overcooked it was like dipping shoe leather into peanut sauce. The main course (cashew chicken) wasn't garbage and was eatable but 5 stars? No.... P.S. - You will most likely get a sour stomach after eating.

This is as good as it gets for authentic Thai food. A small place owned and operated by recently immigrated Thai family. The mother was our chef and the daughter was our server. Excellent food all cooked to perfection. If you are looking for Thai food, this is the place to go in Brevard County!

I've eaten a lot of homecooked Thai food in my life as well as traveled with a Thai family in thailand for a month, so I do have a tendency to be picky about the Thai food I eat. The first couple places I tried in Melbourne were very disappointing; however, I visited this place by chance one day and was blown away. They have a lot of menu options that you won't find in most Thai place in Florida, and while some of the veggies they use are probably more based on their local availability than whether they are common in Thailand, the food is AWESOME. I've tried noodle dishes, curries, spicy basil stir-fries, and soups and they were all great. The service is good, and the mom (who cooks) will come out from time to time to check on your food. I found that the first time I went, the food wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped, but the more I go, the spicier my food gets as they learn what I like. It is a dumpy little plaza, but the food totally makes up for it--if you like Thai food, give this place a try, it will likely become your favorite!

I haven't been to a lot of Thai restaurants, but the food was definitely good & filling. Nice portions, fresh. The spring rolls were fantastic. It was quiet for a Sunday and our server was prompt & attentive, good service, good food, good prices.

Outstanding Thai food, great specials! We ordered the beef salad and the pumpkin basil special. They asked about spiciness level and got it just right. Atmosphere was cozy. Family is really nice. Give them your business, they deserve it.
(5)Rachel M.
I usually order Spicy Basil Noodle from another Thai restaurant in town but they happened to be closed on Sunday. I came across Thai Kitchen and decided to order their Thai Basil Spaghetti instead. I requested to make it spicy and to leave out the bell pepper. After trying Thai Kitchen's version I think I'll become a regular here! It had great flavor, lots of vegetables, and was extra spicy (there's no such thing as too spicy to me). I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. The owner/chef was very kind as well. Gotta love amazing little family owned restaurants like this!
(5)Ishwar S.
Unreliable, I went there for dinner only to find they were closed. Their sign said closed..even though their hours indicated that they were supposed to be open. Even online said they were open. I called and got no answer from them either. Bad service.
(1)Theresa B.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Family run authentic Thai food. The mom is the cook and she really cares that people love her food. It would qualify for the "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives" so be prepared that the atmosphere is lacking but the who cares when the food is as good as theirs! They are so authentic they close for one month a year to visit their family in Thailand. Best Thai food in Brevard County!!!
(5)Bull P.
Best Thai food and prices for miles! Mom cooks and daughter waits tables. One....at....a....time. God bless her. Well worth the wait though!

Hidden away is a old strip mall, on the corner of Wickham Road and Aurora, two doors down from Advanced Auto Parts, is the best Thai Restaurant in the Space Coast and perhaps all of Florida. Blink and you will miss it. Their signage is poor. I drove past it trying to find it. Their decor is ordinary at best and some of their ceiling tiles could use replacement. Their food however is hands down and by substantial margin the best in the county. I say this with the full disclosure that I am a former Thai Thai II fan boy who saw the light. (When I first came the Space Coast 10 years ago Thai Thai II was my go-to place for Thai but after a management change years ago it went down hill). I had Pumpkin Curry with shrimp, $8.95 at lunch and was simply BLOWN AWAY. Everything was produce strand fresh. The heat of the curry with the mild sweetness of pumpkin and the texture contrast of crisp bell peppers and a softer but not mushy pumpkin, was a home run dish. It came with an egg roll, which was fresh and hot but not as crisp as my egg roll preference. Call the egg roll a solid "B", but for out of this world "A+" curry I would happily ate an egg roll made of rubber, plastic, or a discarded hood ornament. I have had great curry in Miami, New York, London, and many other places and am scratching my head to remember any that were better than this dish. Be forewarned, their decor is lacking. No trendy drop down pendant lights, no new flooring, no bright accent wall, giving them a "C" for decor would be charitable. Of course if this place had signage, better decor, and a better location, there would be line around the block. I got a table at lunch on a Friday with no waiting. So let's just call this our little Yelp secret. Go have the best Thai food you have ever had, but don't tell anyone else. It is not a big place. We don't need a line to get in, but if they ever have one it would be well worth the wait for FIVE well earned Yelp Stars, for Best Thai in the Space Coast. Update May 2015. I fave now tried several more menu items. Pumpkin Curry was by far the best item on their menu. Their hours are a little erratic. They are closed Thursday. It is a Father, Son and Daughter business. Occasionally they will be closed for no apparent reason (perhaps for a personal or family event) as such now before driving across town (its far for me) I call first.

Great food and service. Pleasant server, talkative and attentive. Recommended the #47, I think it was basil and veggie and egg noodle stir fry (with shrimp, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, zuch, and squash). Was excellent, nice and spicy. Spring roll was fresh and delicious as well. Highly recommended. Disappointed that the mango sticky rice wasn't available but they only serve it when mango's are fresh and in season - which is another plus.

DELISH!!! If you love spicy Thai food this place is worth a try!! There is a little wait while the food is made which is why it tastes so fresh and not reheated food. They use so much spice in their cooking you smell it in the air as soon as you hit the entrance. The drunken noodles were very tasty and the vegetable spring roll was amazing. I'm hungry again just thinking about it!! :) Don't let the small size of the place fool you-- they make up in taste and flavor!! It tastes authentic and you won't be disappointed.
(5)Jared W.
The best Thai food I have had, granted not something I partake of often. Like others say this is a small, simple family owned business and calling ahead is the only way to know 100% they are open. (Would be nice to link to a Twitter feed updating hours or something if that is the case often) The food was great, and everyone in our party was happy. I had the Curry Fried Rice which is a Thai fried rice with hot red curry, chicken and some other seasonings all for around $8. Will definitely be returning.

Wanted to save my first review for a place I could rave about. Glad I waited. Absolutely wonderful food! The chicken pad Thai was wonderful and my wife made consistent "mmmm" sounds with her pad sa wee. This definitely met the expectations created from the other reviews. Don't make the same mistake I did and live in this area for years without coming here.

Ate here with my boyfriend last night. We found this place here on Yelp and saw the ratings were pretty good. We're always looking for some good Thai food! Upon walking in immediately I was a little turned off. It was extremely smoky, like the stove vent hood wasn't even on. By the time we left my eyes were burning and my hair reeked. Our food was just ok. I got a dish with chicken and basil with veggies which was pretty good. A little salty but not bad. My boyfriend got the red curry dish which he said was so salty he could hardly finish. We really wanted to love this place from all the wonderful reviews but I don't think we will be returning.

Wow, I live in Broward and made a random stop here during a long car trip. This was easily the best Thai food I've had in south Florida. I wish Broward or Miami had a place like this! (I've been to about 25 places down here.) I used to live in Thailand, and the Americanized stuff offered by most restaurants is just acceptable, not great. This was great! (I had the red curry, it was amazing.)
(5)Linds D.
Found this Thai Restaurant on Yelp recommendation and it was excellent. Started off with amazing little dumplings just made. I had the Pad Thai with Chicken and it was delicious, seasoned perfectly with the perfect combination is noodles, chicken, peanuts and bean sprouts!
(5)Anna S.
Little hole-in-the-wall in a strip center: limited seating, simple trappings, tasty affordable food and very friendly and personable service. I came for lunch and, noting the sign stating a $15 minimum credit card charge, decided to start with a spicy cucumber and shrimp salad (since the lunch specials were so cheap, around $6-$7 apiece). The salad was cool, crisp, spicy and delicious, with three plump and perfectly cooked, still-warm shrimp. I also had the chicken pad see ew lunch special. Although it didn't use the broad, wide rice noodles that I favor for this dish, it was very tasty and loaded with produce (cabbage, carrot, broccoli, zucchini, etc)., perfect for veggie lovers. The lunch special was served with a vegetable spring roll, a bit greasy but tasty. Service was so friendly, from my server to the chef/owner who came out to personally check up on customers.

Called a bunch of times for delivery. Nobody ever answered. Guess they don't want my business!
(1)Misty R.
Yum yum yum!!! Best panang curry!!! Will definitely come again. Spring rolls made fresh on premises! You can surely tell :) Everything is cooked to order and was absolutely fantastic!!!
(5)Danny D.
Love the food and the attitude. My favorite Thai place in Melbourne. Call before you leave as it is a family owned business and may close unexpectedly.
(5)Meghan D.
This is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Brevard County . The service Is great , and the family that runs this place is kind , which is only a bonus to the fact that the food is amazing . Definitely a must try!

Great meal! We were staying in Indialantic beach on vacation and picked TK based on reviews. It was well worth the drive across the causeway. Don't be put off by the location (storefront in a low-rent strip mall). We ordered three dishes--two versions of Pad Thai (tofu and shrimp), Vegetable Stir Fry w/ Cashews, and Green Curry. All were terrific--tasty, generous portions, and were accompanied by an excellent egg roll. The stir fry is a great healthy option as the sauce is on the light side. On top of that, the price was reasonable (~$50 for four). Would definitely recommend this place, especially for families.
(5)Robert F.
I love this place! It's a family run establishment, everyone was very friendly and conversational. I spoke with Ploy ( our server ) who is daughter of the chef ( her mom ). After we talked to mom she suggested a BBQ beef salad that I enjoyed very much, just the way I like for heat. I started the meal with Spring rolls, tasty. We shared some Tom Ka Gai soup ( chicken coconut ) which was absolutely authentic. Mom/ chef recommended a garlic shrimp dish for my girlfriend. The shrimp were plump, cooked perfectly, very garlicky and delicious! I have to go for lunch there soon! I'm no stranger to Thai food and I almost felt like I was treated like family on my first visit. I will be back soon.
(5)Kristina C.
The best restaurant in Brevard County. Hands down. I come here at least twice a week and if you are looking for authentic Thai food, this is the place to go. It's not an "Americanized" Thai restaurant and the food is actually SPICY and full of flavor. Everything is bought locally and the food is all fresh (they buy the produce every morning) and made to order. If you are a fan of Thai Thai do not come here. You won't be able to handle all of the flavor.
(5)Shapour M.
Excellent thai delicious food and friendly service. Recommend to work on air conditioning and went out the kitchen better but really worthy of waiting in a hot smoky small place. My wife loved it:)))))
(4)Jennifer M.
Stopped in to Thai Kitchen today for lunch, and again I was so happy with the food! Thai Kitchen did not fail in terms of great authentic, very flavorful Thai food. I noticed the negative Yelp review from Scott S. (from California) and was completely baffled by his assessment of this place; I mean everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but geez. Then I checked out his other Yelp reviews and they are ALL practically 1-2 stars, so it must take A LOT to satisfy him. I've lived and traveled this whole globe! This place is good, not just for "dumpy" Melbourne, it's just good period. This family owned business serves up some delicious, very reasonably priced, authentic Thai food. This isn't commercialized, over the top, Americanized Thai food that some may be accustomed to. Ploy, the daughter is very friendly, and her parents do a great job in the kitchen! P.S. If you like spicy food (which I particularly do not), my boyfriend who has also traveled abroad, really enjoyed the green curry lunch special and said it packs a nice punch!
(5)Mishi M.
This Thai food is so good and authentic! I love the curry and the pad Thai as well! The sushi is also great! Highly recommend :
(5)Brett L.
Truly a gem, you have to appreciate how mom and pop the place is. Have never had a bad meal here, I always stop in when I'm in town.
(5)Sarah M.
My friend found this restaurant online and we decided to try it because of the reviews. It definitely lives up to it's rep. I had pad thai, very good. And she has beef/shimp soup (she asked for it without pork). My Pad Thai was delicious, but the soup was the real winner. It was so good, that I went back a week later to get it.
(5)Charles R.
Best Thai food anywhere along the Treasure Coast...maybe in Florida. My wife and I have been to Thailand a lot. This food is authentic and as good (better than some) as the best in Thailand. Give it a try, your taste buds will thank you.
(5)Chris M.
This is, hands-down the very best Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand! It's family owned and operated. I found this place right here on Yelp. I arrived right at 11:30 when they open for lunch. All ten tables filled immediately! This was the only problem at all--and only reason at all for a four star rating instead of five--there is only one girl waiting all ten tables; so, service was expectedly slow. There were many Thai people eating here, attesting to its authenticity. I ordered in Thai, which made the little old Thai lady who owns the place very happy. I ate pumpkin curry chicken. It was an absolutely delicious dish. I will definitely be back, but perhaps for dinner and hopefully when there is more than one person to wait the restaurant...
(4)Miguel R.
Great food and great service! Everything is amazing and the levels of spice can accommodate all levels of experience. My personal favorite is the green curry. The Pad Thai here is also the best I've had and I've gone to a lot of Thai places in America. It's no surprise because the chef herself is Thai and has brought out all of the authentic flavors in her cuisine.
(5)Dan M.
Thai Kitchen is probably my favorite restaurant in Melbourne. The Thai food here is far better than anything else in town, and in my opinion is even better than the Thai places in Orlando. It's a small location, so if you show up at noon you might have a hard time getting a table. Only one waitress for the whole restaurant, but she does a great job taking care of everyone. It really feels more like I'm going over to a friend's house for dinner when I come here - I often give give the waitress a hard time, but she has a great sense of humor and can dish it right back. Get the pork pad thai and you won't regret it...oh, and don't forget an appetizer of the fish balls.
(5)Katherine S.
I've been coming here for quite some time now- everything is absolutely delicious and tastes like my Moms cooking. I couldn't ask for anything more- the Waitress is super cute and friendly... Hopefully she's into the ladies. Maybe when she slides me the check she'll slide me her number. One can only hope... Great Thai food and a great view ;)
(5)Vicki O.
Pad Kee Mow is awesome! We love this restaurant. The take out is just as great as the dine in. Service is always quick and our waitress is always so cheerful ;) lol We've ordered lunch and dinner the portion sizes are great. We high recommend this restaurant!!
(5)John Y.
This place is amazing! Best Thai place in all of Melbourne! Would definitely recommend it to all!
(5)Nuri G.
Hoooooooly Moly. This is authentic thai food cooked up by a little Thai lady. I took a group of customers in for lunch today, and was blown away by how authentic and delicious everything was. I ordered a Som Tam with dried shrimp and a Pad Thai with Tofu and Vegetables. The som tam was perfect. I've had a lot of papaya salads, and know exactly how things should be traditionally, and this was nailed. They even have dried crab and shrimp that can be added to the dish. The amazingly cute and spunky (daughter of the owner) server mentioned the way I ordered it (hot, with dried shrimp) was how her mom eats hers. Validation. My pad thai was perfect, as well. An amazing amalgamation of sour, sweet, and savory, it rivaled dishes I've had in famous thai restaurants in large cities. There was a plethora of vegetables, and an ample portion of tofu... and it couldn't have been much better. My only criticism was that my dish wasn't thai hot. It was barely medium. However, the flavors, the presentation, and everything about my meal were so perfect and authentic, I totally didn't mind not having mouth-scorching heat to go along with it. TLDR: Thai restaurant owner serves amazingly authentic thai food and has super cute Thai daughter server (message me! :-p) Pro-Tip: $10 credit card minimum
(5)Mandy H.
If you want excellent quality, authentic Thai food, this is the only place to go. It's a little hole in the wall place - the quintessential mom & pop joint...but it seriously doesn't get any better. Their spring rolls are crispy perfection and their sweet and sour dipping sauce is divine. Their Chicken pad thai is the stuff dreams are made of - tender rice noodles, juicy white meat chicken, and a sauce that brings it all together in the most delectable way possible. As far as Thai cuisine in Brevard County, this is the only restaurant worth visiting. It's authentic & delicious - my only complaint is they don't have fountain soda, it's served in cans...but who's really going for the drinks?
(5)Marie S.
It may not look like much from the outside but this place has the best authentic Thai food. When I stepped into the place it reminded me of when I went to visit my dad in Thailand. Their pad thai is the best pad thai I have ever had. And that's not an exaggeration. I thought I had eaten good pad thai before but I was way wrong. Warning: After you eat it there, every other place's pad thai will suck in comparison.
(5)ryan t.
Looking for very tasty Thai food? This friendly husband and wife hole in the wall is for you. Good food, good price. Open for lunch and for dinner. Closed Thursdays.
