Great lunch buffet. It realy gives one a chance to try all the different dishes and to become more familiar with Indian board of fare. Very clean quiet relaxing atmosphere. Superb service with well dressed wait staff. I recommend it for business lunch or casual. The buffet lunch makes it quick.

I honestly loved the ambience. Having understood that this was a new ( almost about 1 year old ) restaurant. The service was just about so-so. Food was okay. I think they are struggling. I have been to taste of India just down the road, their service is much much simple yet diplomatic and they RULE. DONT FOOL US INDIANS. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FOOL THE AMERICANS BUT NOT US. so saddle up fella. Learn to be authentic and outbeat your rivals. namaste for you to get better. All in all I love your food but teach your service staff( waiters) some manners. Teach them to be nice to customers at all times. Being rude will only hamper your business Chill relax. Shalom. God bless Will be back only to check u guys out for one last time. If all goes good then u got me but if it messes up then I ain't comin back. PEACE

I've been here four times now; the first time to eat in, the next three to take out. The first three times the food was excellent, but tonight's was a little disappointing. The curries were okay, but the appetizers were clearly recycled leftovers, not freshly made as on previous occasions. Consequently, both the onion bhajees and the samosas were overcooked from reheating. Then, for two orders of bhajees and two orders of samosas I should have been given two pots each of yogurt sauce and tamarind, but only received one each, plus the tamarind was only half full and the yogurt was actually off and sour tasting. Previously, I also received another pot of chunky, spicy red stuff, which was really good, but that was nowhere to be seen this time. Based on my previous visits, I'll give them another chance, but they need to be careful and not complacent. I spend a decent amount of money when I order. Let's not spoil a good thing.

Great lunch buffet. Polite and friendly staff. I have been there twice and I loved that they had lots of vegetarian options for the buffet. I am not from around there but will definitely go to Tandoor anytime I am in the area...

Worst Indian Buffet I ever had! The food was not fresh! The only thing which is good over there was innovation and cutlery but the food was not fresh and tasteless!
(1)Nupur D.
They were alright. Somehow the food did not taste fresh. That might just have been the one time. The service was good. Would not knock it completely before I give it another shot. In all it's OK for decent Indian food in that area.

We love Tandoori Indian cuisine! We have been coming here since it opened and have never had a bad meal. If you are ever further north in Melbourne, in the Suntree/ Viera area and have a craving for Indian food, check this place out! Their bottle of Riesling (goes so well with spicy food) is delicious, service is great and the food is authentic.

I found the lunch buffet pretty limited. Chicken prevailed, I didn't see any other kinds of meat. I love Indian food but what I tasted seemed almost watered-down. ..just not very spicy. The chicken curry was not tasty... in fact, I couldn't really taste the curry. The chicken marsala was better than the curry. The Nan was kind of soggy as was the rice. I think the sogginess might have been caused by steam and water being too close to the food. I don't know what the dinner menu offers. The dining area was clean and the service courteous.

Should have believed Manit P's review. I had been there 3 time last year and would give them 4-5 stars every time. Went there today, and the food has gone down to 2 stars (at best). Used to see the owner there all time time, so I asked the "manager" if ownership has changed and where the owner was (the one I used to see all the time). He gave me a vague round about answer. I would bet that the ownership and chef have changed. Long story short, every thing I tried was now tasteless. By the way I am Indian. I agree with Manit that the taste has gone down 80%. The food is very bland. Tried Chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, daal and gulab jamum (sweet). Everything was mediocre at best. I would hate to see one of the few Indian restaurants in the area close down, so I hope they read this review and make some changes. I was reluctant to go there today and I told my wife that every time I go there, the food is so good that I end up over eating. Let's just say, I did not over eat today.

The the paneer and garlic naan were very good and servers were friendly. Beer and wine selection are lacking and the atmosphere was kind of sterile. Would go back.
(4)Manit P.
New owner, new chefs and bad food. Compared to previous management and chefs the food taste has gone down by 80 percent...... I would not suggest to go here...

Very good lunch buffet on Sundays. Reasonably priced and tasty. Slow service on other occasions but avoided by eating at the buffet.
(4)Judy E.
My husband and I eat here often. We have never had a bad meal, the service is always good, and the prices are fair. I guess that's why we always go back
(5)Amanda R.
This place is great!! Buffet has the greatest Indian food - the best was the tiki Marsala and the goat curry! Cheap price and great sauces and naan as well :)
(5)Jessica M.
We went here while on vacation in Melbourne. Our server was very attentive and polite. The portions were very large for the value and delicious! I got the chicken vindaloo. I liked it even more than our regular indian place back home. I wish we lived closer so I could go here more often :)

I stopped by this new restaurant last week for dinner. Prompt seating, great service, great interior design, and the food was excellent. I had the lamb korma, which was sweet with just the right amount of heat and spice. The chicken tandoori was incredibly tender and tasty. I think we have a new winner here.
(5)Jetset A.
Never disappoints!! The buffet is fresh and delicious and everything is authentic! Love this place!!!
(5)Kevin K.
The lentil soup is the best I've ever had. They were even nice enough to cook me up some chicken saag (which isn't on the menu) and it also ended up being the best I've had. Obviously, this is the one Indian place I'd recommend over all others. I just wish I lived closer! The staff is all extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely a place to try if you enjoy Indian food.
(5)Adam F.
My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time. The wait staff is very attentive and never did my drink get less than half full. The food was excellent with large dinner portions. We tried the Lamb Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala and both were outstanding. We also selected the garlic naan and the cheese naan. The garlic naan was phenomena and the cheese naan was above average. The best Indian food I have had. The restaurant was very nice and seemed very clean.

I've enjoyed every dinner I've had here, but my recent experience with the lunch buffet was disappointing. The only lunch option is the buffet. By the time my friend and I were seated and learned this, she didn't have time to go elsewhere. We went at 2PM. Most of the food was way overcooked and appeared to be sitting for quite some time. At least one serving container was empty, though it was refilled just before we left. If you do go for lunch, go early when everything is fresh.

Finally, a GOOD Indian restaurant in Melbourne!! SO much better then Taste of India!!
(5)Elena S.
My husband and I are from out of town. We didn't know what we felt like eating...but we were starving. We chose here because we saw many cars park and enter here. Best.Indian.Ever. Many Indian places are overly seasoned or greasy. This was fresh tasting, spiced and cooked to perfection. We had chicken tikka and tikka masala with garlic naan and raita. Next time we visit, we are making a point to stop by again and experiment with other dishes.

Highly Disappointed. In the party of six, we had two infants who hardly ate anything. However, they are quite adamant to charge full amount person for all of us including kids, no matter how small they are. I also had a kid age 7 in our party and I was more than willing to pay for her even though she just ate few spoons of rice as she was not feeling so well. The guy at the counter was quite rude in explaining that they don't spare anyone without paying by virtue of their 'policy'. Well, what kind of policy you are talking about!? I would never visit this place and advice my friends to please avoid this restaurant.

reasonable fresh great decor good service

I have no idea what I ate off the lunch buffet, but everything was very tasty... I can not wait to go back
(5)Elizabeth G.
Just tried the lunch buffet. WOW!! The food is amazing! It was also reasonably priced and the the staff was attentive and polite. Will definitely be back again!
(5)Ernie C.
This restaurant just opened. I have only had the lunch buffet, and cannot comment on the dinner menu. However, I have browsed the dinner selection and it does have a few interesting menu selections that I will try. The lunch buffet is varied- 6-8 selections, a small salad bar with a few sauces. The quality of the buffet items are good. They serve fresh made Naan with your lunch. Looks like they make it fresh for each customer, so I was half finished with my lunch before they brought it, but it was warm and good. Mildly spicy food. I would recommend this place. As noted, they are closed on Mondays. Hopefully, this app will note that for Yelpers.

Fantastic Indian restaurant. Excellent food, superb service, classy decor. This is simply the best Indian restaurant in Brevard - and my wife and I eat Indian very often - wherever we go, so we know a good Indian restaurant when we find one!

We tried Tandoor on the recommendation of a co-worker. My first impression as I walked in wad that our looked nice, but the smell was not pleasant. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke and body odor. Authentic but not pleasant. The service was excellent. We started with a mango lassi and bullet naan (cilantro & pepper). The lassi was a little too sweet, but good. The naan was so good and spicy, we ordered some garlic naan. The garlic naan was also amazing. I ordered the lamb xxx and my wife ordered the chef's special curry chicken. We got them both at medium heat since this was our first time. It was spicy enough to be more interesting. next time I will order the curry at hot, but the lamb was spicy enough at medium. The lamb was moist and delicious. The curry was also very good. There was enough food for at least four adults (but not teenagers). If not for the unpleasant smell (that was covered up once or food arrived) I'd have given them 5 stars.

Best Indian food I have eaten in the USA. We moved here from Columbus, Ohio which has some very good Indian restaurants. The food in Tandoor was very flavorful, with a controllable amount of spice heat. Wonderful samosa. Good safe location, with easy access to I-95.

Lunch Buffet was delicious. Staff very friendly. Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Would definately go back.

Can't really rates it yet. Heard it's really good so we checkd the web-site for hours, then drove from Cape Canaveral to have lunch, when we arrived we found a sign on the door announcing they are CLOSED ON MONDAY. We'll try again. Call before you go
(1)Allen W.
We eat here at least once a week and this is consistently the best Indian food by far in the Melbourne area (or the entire state of Florida for that matter). Staff very accommodating and pleasant. Great service and great food at a reasonable price, It is disappointing to see negative comments by people who think a lunch buffet means all you can eat and all you can carry home. Most buffet place I have eaten at have a similar and absolute rule- no carrying food away. Without a policy like this some people would overload their plates and then ask to take whats left on their plates it with them,

I love this place. I am by no means an Indian food expert or even close but it's better in my opinion than the one down the road in town. The staff is very friendly. Another review here gave it one star based on the fact that it was not open on Monday....I too drove down to eat and discovered the sign on the door and was a little frustrated but if you want a review based on food taste and service, then I can recommend Tandoor. The lunch buffet is around $9 at the time of this review. They usually have about 6 or so dishes and a small salad bar with the normal sauces you would expect to find at an indian restaurant. Dishes are rotated for variety but you can normally see the common dishes everyday such as Tandoor chicken, Paneer dishes, and butter chicken. They are open everyday (closed Monday) for Lunch until about 2:30 and dinner from 5 to 9:30 but it's always a good idea to call if you are driving a good distance.

So thrilled to have an awesome Indian restuarant in Suntree. Love it. Excellent fresh food, service, and ambiance. We wish them all the best and highly recommend them. Would give SIX starts if possible!! Go there!!

Saw an article about this restaurant in Florida Today and tried it Sunday night. I love Indian food but haven't had any in locally since moving in 2004. Gave it a really good try with appetizers, entrees and dessert. I particularly liked the chicken tikka masala and the saffron, nut ice cream. Was out on that way today doing shopping and decided to try out the buffet. There were about 10 not dishes as well as a nice selection if raita, salad, chutneys and dessert. Everything was fresh and well-prepared and the meal was only $10. Both times service has been attentive. There is a respectable wine list. I look forward to many more meals there.

Fantastic. Just ate here for the first time and wanted to get this review in as soon as I got home so I don't forget all the good details. This is a new restaurant in an older, nice shopping center. It is very hard to see from the road, but google map it and you'll recognize the front if you drive Wickham Rd. between Suntree Blvd and Pineda Causeway. The restaurant itself looks very modern and sleek inside...and very, very clean. I also had a view of the kitchen every time the door opened and it was also spotless. Really a great atmosphere with soft Indian music in the background. The staff was so nice, and checked on us frequently, filling our water glasses often. This is such a small detail, but when they poured the water, they all held the glass by the stem and the pitcher never touched the glass. This seems insignificant, but really is important in food service and it shows great training. It wasn't just one person either, it was two or three different people who refilled our glasses and did it correctly every time. Again, seems insignificant but it is something I pay attention to when dining. The menu is great. You can see it on their website and I had chosen what I wanted before I went, but also asked the waiter for suggestions. If you like spicey, try the Tandoori Paneer Tawa Masala appetizer. Also, my husband and I both ordered our dishes "medium" spice, but the dishes were pretty mild. Fine for my husband, but next time I will order the highest level which is "spicey". If you like your food a little hot, I don't think starting with the top level will be too much for you. I had the Punjabi Chole (a version of this is called Chana Masala-I am not enough of an expert to know the exact difference) which is my standard-a chickpea in tomato sauce combo. I have had this dish or version of it in many different Indian restaurants and this was by far the most fresh and tasty I have had. There were actually chunks of fresh tomatoes in the sauce, which tells me it wasn't canned. Our entrees came with a huge bowl of rice-I believe it was jasmin. The prices were very reasonable-we had an order of roti bread and three appetizers, then two entrees....and our bill was 45$. Plus we brought home tons of food. I should mention they do not have their beer and wine license yet but the waiter said it is coming soon. I don't know if they have a byob policy in the meantime-but if you really want a Kingfisher with your meal, perhaps call and ask if it would be okay to bring your own. I know we will :) I did check out the buffet area-they offer it at lunchtime. It looks like lots of chaffing dishes so there should be many options. This area was also spotless. The restaurant was not crowded but had a steady influx of people. This was a Saturday night and there was no wait, but there were only about three open tables at the peak. I don't think you would need reservations unless you have a larger group. All right, I know this is wordy, but this was a really, really good experience and I get enthusiastic about good food and service. Try this restaurant. If you like Indian food, or would like to see if you like it-this place is pretty close to perfect.
(5)Judge S.
Ok, if you're going to have a lunch buffett have at least one NORMAL mainstream Indian item--for example chicken curry NOT goat curry. I'm sure goat curry is authentic, but come on give me SOMETHING I can eat. Bread was awesome however.
