I love this neighborhood restaurant- the food is always reliable and the staff is so cheerful-I'm here during a big crowd and they still managed to give my table attention. If you ever pass through palm shores Florida check it out I recommend the meat loaf

I'd love to come here again... First we popped in last minute with a party of 8 and there was no problem for Sunday brunch, we got seated in five minutes. I ordered so many plates! First, the French toast was okay, but I tried my brothers girlfriends captain crunch French toast was insanely rich and delish, and the eggs plates were perfectly cooked with a not so crazy grease factor. The mimosas were perfectly poured and our family had a wonderful time, I hope we can come here again to try all of the options they had on the menu.

Some places are better at different things and Palm Shores Diner definitely shines when it's breakfast/brunch time. The portions are HUGE so come with an appetite. I have been back various times and have become friendly with one of their servers, though everyone is extremely nice and provide a really inviting vibe. I have yet to order something I didn't devour. I came once though with my parents for dinner and found the selections to be a wee bit over priced. My father's order was changed without his knowledge so he wasn't a happy camper - again, skip dinner and come for breakfast/brunch.

I wish I could give this place a 100 stars! I am usually not excited to eat in Melbourne everytime my husband and I come to visit the family, but this place just proved me wrong a thousand times! We got there around 1pm and the place was moderately busy, we sat and a the nicest waitress came over to take care of us. We ordered the Wake in Juarez burrito and the Poached Pears Flapjacks. I would say they took a little bit more than usual to bring the food, but once it arrived to our table, everything made sense. We went for the burrito first, and it was love at first bite! This monster was PACKED with scrambled eggs, jack cheese, avocados, salsa and a pot roast that was cooked to perfection. Now, as if that was not enough, it came with a in-house salsa that had a mix of smokey, sweet and spicy flavors, and once you drizzled the burrito with it, you just understood you were born to eat that glorious dish! We finished the burrito and the pancakes were waiting for us! This was a plate with three HUGE cakes drowned in a Bourbon syrup, perfectly poached pears and whipped cream, I mean how can you go wrong with that!!! Ahhhh I think of it, and it just makes me smile! Now, I live in Fort Lauderdale, and I have tried excellent places for breakfast there, but this breakfast was hands down the BEST one I've had in my life! The flavors were bold, the mix of ingredients was fearless and the service was just outstanding! May God bless the chef of this restaurant, and keep giving him the power of cooking, and if he ever wants to leave the restaurant, I want to have him at my house!!!!!! I know now, I have something excellent to look forward to when I go to Melbourne!!

Love their breakfast! I had one of their specials, chicken and sausage omelette. It wasn't super greasy like iv had some omelette so have had. Good flavors, the coffee was nice. Waiters were fast and nice, great service!!! I definitely plan to come here again.

Stopped by for lunch carry out. Chose the crab cake sandwich and fries, it was only o.k. The crab mix has red peppers in it which ruined it for me and the fries were oddly cut and over done I think. The waitress that helped me was very nice and the menu looks good enough that I'm willing to go back and try something else.

Went here today for lunch with my folks. They have a seat youself policy here. Our drink order was promptly taken. I ordered a phiily cheese steak sandwich with cole slaw. Our drinks came promptly and refills were fast. Our food took quite a while and I am sad to report that the cheesesteak was average, nothing great or special at all. The cole slaw was crisp but lacked any flavor at all. Like watered down mayonaise with not even a touch of salt and pepper. Both my parents reported the same. Hopeful my mom and I shared a connamon bun which came with ice cream and whipped cream. It tasted stale and overcooked but the ice cream was good. For the long waiting and average quality of the food this place is WAY WAY overpriced. There are much better places to get a sandwich around and at a more reasonable price. We wont be back.

This place is FILTHY. Clean the bathrooms and keep the office door closed if you can't clean up in there either! No one wants to see that. The jersey shore sandwich has such potential... But they must have one very lazy chef. The turkey and corned beef was cold, the cheese wasn't melted and the bread was stale! C'mon guys... Really?? That sandwich should be grilled! Then as the coleslaw on top after you pull it from the grill. This place needs to get their act together...

AMAZING BISTRO!! Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Weekly specials are great as well! For breakfast I recommend the Captain Crunch French toast... Big portion, well worth the price, and comes out picture ready! Staff is all super friendly and accommodating, and the big menu provides options for everyone!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this river view restaurant!

This place was no bistro, it's a very plain setting no ambiance at all. We chose to sit out on the deck which was much quieter. The waiter was great and really knowledgable. I would have given a higher rating because my bacon wrapped grilled shrimp in a reduced root beer sauce was delicious!!! As well as the warm Brie platter. What killed it for me was my entree. The grilled golden tile was just ok. My saffron rice was bland as well as my spinach. We all split the cinnamon roll with ice cream and was disappointed. We may try it for breakfast as I hear they are much better at that if we ever come back for a visit

Do not be fooled! This is a diner not a bistro! The pictures are NOT from the place we ate! We ordered the queen cut prime rib for $21 each. It came with a wilted salad with no choice of dressing, just French. The prime rib was more than half fat!!! I really wish I took a picture to describe it. Terrible! I bet they have an awesome fried egg breakfast!

Excited to eat dinner here last Saturday. Heard good things. Had reservations. Sat in the enclosed porch. (Be prepared to swat flies) Server was pleasant and attentive as we placed our orders. I ordered a cafe latte. First one was perfect. Ordered a 2nd. Not so much. They poured milk in and served. Was barely warm. Looked forward to the crab cake dinner. They were very good, lots of crab meat. Lukewarm. Guess they were having a bad night.

I have tried this restaurant a few times since we are locals and every time I hope that my experience will be better but today was the final straw. I have just left the restaurant hungry, upset and spent money on a lunch that was a terrible experience. This will be the the last time that I will ever go here and it's sad because it's located on US 1 and there are not that many options for restaurants along US 1 .We just ordered two greek salads and asked the waitress about the soup selection. She told me the two options and I asked for one cup of the bean soup. We waited which seems to be the norm at this restaurant. The gentleman who had been seated behind us when we were seated was still waiting for his food. The server came over twice to tell him his food would be out. We finally got our salads but I asked about my soup and she said that she didn't hear me. I said that I had ordered a cup and she gave me a real attitude. Honestly, even if she didn't hear me, which I know I said it because my son heard it then just apologize and don't give a customer a arrogant attitude. We got our greek salads that really had no taste. The feta cheese tasted like tofu instead of feta. They were very expensive and had no taste! My bill was $35.00 for two greek salads and two drinks. We went here for breakfast one time and it was $40.00. The waitress did apologize but at that point I was done! I went ahead and paid my bill, she said that she would be right back with my change, she never even came back with the change. I was then walking out and I was going to say something about my change but it just wasn't worth it she could keep the $4.50 for her tip. I met the chef going out and he apologized and said that she was usually a great waitress maybe it was a off day for us all but I will not be back. Good luck.

Food was excellent. Salads, fried shrimp dinner, chicken parm - everyone loved it. Service was quick and friendly. Ice cream dessert was great. Will be returning.

Amazing food and David was a fantastic server extremely attentive but at the right moments. Great service....crab cakes were the best I have ever had! Atmosphere isn't in check with the food so don't be alarmed it's worth the stay!!

Nice place with great service. Large portions. I could have shared the meal. The waiter was very helpful with the menu choices. The place has the feel of a place where people who care about a great food experience work.

I can't tell you how the food was because we did not want to stick around another 40 minutes for our order to arrive. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait for our party of 8 on a Sunday which was fine, we'll wait. We waited another 20 minutes for our order to be taken and after that half of our party receive their food in a timely manner and we were still waiting another 20 minutes when we decided we were going to leave. The server was incompetent and full of excuses and had no use for our table. The owner stood around and did nothing until she decided maybe we waited long enough for refills but even she did not address the issue of our wait time. You can change the name of the restaurant and you can change the decor and you can change the menu but until you address the management problems you will not have a successful business.

We The chicken special with an artichoke sauce that was delicious and the pot roast It was all very good with a fresh bread that they made inhouse This salads all have homemade dressing and the vegetables were grilled and had a delicious charbroil flavor We will be back

First of all, DON'T SIT OUTSIDE. To compensate for the extremely loud traffic from US1, they crank up the cheesy Sirius station so that you can't hear yourself speak over "Rhinestone Cowboy" and "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe". Also, your waitress will forget you exist. Crab cake sandwich was good, but fries were bland and forgettable, and pickles were forgotten. The "Happy Waitress" open-faced grilled cheese was a travesty. Why open-face a sandwich in a regular slice of bread? Why put cold tomatoes ON TOP of the cheese instead of cooking them underneath? And why - oh why - not provide an option past American cheese? I was not ordering of the kids' menu! And $9 for that? Way to screw up the simplest sandwich in the world.
