I had the Pollo Diablo, my girlfriend had the Shrimp Costa Rica Bowl, and we split the brie app and all three were delicious. Would definitely return, the view is nice and the staff is very friendly!

Love the atmosphere in here! Great music and varied menu. There's something for everyone. Next time we'll bring the kids. The service is super-friendly and accommodating. It lunch in downtown Melbourne, Crane Creek is awesome!

Great atmosphere. First time here, and the specials were great. 500 race dog loaded up was delicious, and huge!

The Hideaway is a culinary mecca! We stopped in on a Tuesday night and had the Costa Rica bowl with pork and the house que sauce. This entree was 10x better than Chipotle or others. Key lime and sour cream mix lightly drizzled couldn't have been better. Inexpensive quality draft/craft beer. Check this place out if you like unique fare and outstanding pork dishes. I'll be back.

Beautiful outdoor seating area with a deck overlooking Crane Creek! Food was only so-so, but nice atmosphere and fun for drinks :-)

My mom was in town so we walked the streets of downtown Melbourne and stopped here for lunch. We had the fish dip for an appetizer and I had the Mahi. It was all really good. Good sized normal portions a person should at a good price. Very friendly service, and atmosphere. Will come back!

nice location, great service, and very good food at fair prices....., may give impression of a older bar, which it is, but worth the visit.....why didnt it get 5 stars from me?, bathroom was pretty rough....

We were just passing through and decided to stop after reading other reviews. The boys enjoyed the Carolina dog which was an all beef foot long hotdog topped with BBQ. They loved it. The fries were hot but not fresh but frozen prepackaged. Another guest enjoyed the Coastal shrimp bowl. They loved it. I had the blackened fish tacos. Delish!! Stop in and enjoy this place. It is worth the time and money.

Fantastic Mahi Fish Bowl ... Not a lot of places cook Mahi well. Most places tends to be dry or over-cooked. This place did it perfectly!!! Worthy of being a regular spot for me.

Not bad at all! We stopped for lunch and had two excellent tacos? The menu looked interesting and it is well worth another try. The family running the place was very cordial!

The menu they have listed on locu.com is not the one they have now. So, no 4 types of fresh home-made salsa. I hope they bring that back, because it sounds delicious. Nice locals kind of place. Karen, my server bent over backwards to make me feel welcome. She dashed between running the bar inside and serving me, the only customer sitting outside all the while maintaining a friendly demeanor and checking on me frequently. She made me feel welcome which can be a lost art in the service industry. Will be back :)

The blackened mahi was amazing! Such a nice casual atmosphere and attentive but relaxed staff! Tina was awesome :) I'm already craving those jumbo shrimp!

On Sundays my boyfriend and I like to be outdoors drinking and enjoying nice food! It's also one of our cheat days... A week or so ago we were driving under the bridge near downtown melbourne and saw this restaurant which interested us. So yesterday we decided to try it. When we arrived we were greeted nicely and learned that every Sunday they have happy hour!!! The view on the patio is facing towards the river and is amazing. There's a nice breeze on the patio and there is also music playing. My boyfriend and I started off with two champagne based madras for only 5 dollars each! They also have craft beers for 4 dollars or less! Food- first we started off with their homemade pretzels and cheese, and their Brie cheese special. FREAKING AMAZING. Like explosion in your mouth. And the crostinis that come with the Brie are made in house with Cuban bread. The best crostinis I've ever had. Although we were full after these two appetizers I wanted to continue trying food because everything else was so good. So we decided to order the 1/4 lb peel and eat shrimp. Came tossed in old bay and came with sides of cocktail sauce and garlic butter sauce. The shrimp were a perfect size. Service- OUTSTANDING. The owners are amazing and put their own ideas into the culinary experience which is amazing. Service was amazing and quick. All in all, there are very few places that I can say are all around phenomenal and this place is definitely one of them. Extremely delicious food, great service, great drinks, more than reasonable prices, and a beautiful view. Must come by and check this place out. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I had a fantastic bowl with fish, rice, beans and a really good sauce with veggies and a little fruit. Fantastic mix of spice and sweet. Decent beer list too!

1st time leaving a Yelp review, I felt I just had to. This place is really cool with great food and a great selection of draft beer. I had "John's a jerk chicken", it was amazing, just the right amount of heat. My wife had Pablo Diablo and it was really good. The crab cakes were amazing and the owner said her husband/chef was from the Chesapeake bay area, I could tell, I thought I was there. What really impressed me about this place was the waitress was very friendly and worked really hard to make sure we had what we needed. She was Able to do that because the owner was helping her without getting in her way, that's how you run a small business!

Wow what a pleasant surprise this hidden gem is. The shrimp roll with a side of potato salad was fantastic. All made from scratch and whole shrimp in the salad. So good. A little off the beaten path but so worth the block trek. Just eat here. It's super clean and everyone is friendly.

Lovely view. Off the beaten path. Nice level of music...not too loud but still a good volume. Has vegetarian options and the owners are the nicest ppl ever!
