I learned from years of working with physicians that their staff will always know where to find the best Thai because drug reps often bring it for lunch. When a friend was coming to Ft. Walton for treatment we asked the staff and they sent us to Lotus Thai. The buffet at lunch is wonderful, but dinner is even more amazing. The Thai beef salad is the best I ever had. And don't miss the Garlic Pork. Amazing.

Went for the lunch buffet. Good, clean, friendly, and perfect for the limited lunch time.

Oh Boy I'm Definitely Getting The Hang of This 'Yelp' Thing That I Like To Do To Share My Experiences & Adventures But Have to Stop Thinking Only For Food Though! But This Send Is About Another Great New Experience Shared with Me By Friends & Colleagues From Beantown of All Places Down On the Florida Panhandle & Sooooooo Very Glad I Said 'Yes' To Joining Them for Lunch At A Thai Buffet Day After Enjoying Thai For Lunch Hmm Sound Familiar Yeah I Have Successfully Eaten Thai Everyday Before But I'll Go On Record To Say The Food Here Is On Par With Some of The Best Enjoyed Anywhere Including In the Land of Smiles & All My Favorites Available To Try At the Same Time for 1 Price :) Truly Was A Delightful Experience & I Was Immediately Taken Back To The First Time I Can Recall Eating A Full Thai Meal. So Many Wonderful Flavors, Aromas & Pleasing to the Eyes Talking Way Back in 1995/96 in Another AF Town of Colorado Springs CO

Food was good and spicy but we did see a cockroach. A little overpriced and I don't really care to go back after one not so great experience.

For some people, lunch options are limited. Even coming here was not easy. There is such a dearth of convenient places to eat for lunch. Their lunch buffet is decent, with pad thai, various stir fry, fried chicken, and curry. The quality of the food is a little off, but not bad considering it's under $10. I came here for dinner once and got the pad see ew. It was unspectacular but didn't make me hate myself afterwards either.

Very good Thai food. I ordered the Pad Thai (medium heat) and it was delicious - my mom wouldn't stop eating off of my plate.

Came here for the first time today! We came in at the tail end of their buffet. They simply said that if they were out of smthg we wanted they'd make us more! How's THAT for customer service?! Everything was delicious! Especially enjoyed their Lemongrass soup w/ chicken! Just the right amt of lemongrass, spicy and "stuff" in the soup. Service was good.

I came here for dinner, ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and red curry with beef. Pad Thai is better than average. They added thin sliced cabbage which gave better texture and taste. Red curry on the other hand was not impressive. Food quality and price is definitely $$.

Their curry is good. Their "medium spice" what would be considered "normal" Thai food spicyness.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. The food is always delicious and the service is great.

I enjoyed my visit to Lotus Thai also, though I didn't find the portions quite as large. I normally only eat half of any dish I order in a restaurant but ended up eating all of the Chicken with Vegetables that I ordered here. That being said, the flavor was really good, and the siracha sauce accent on the lip of the plate was a nice added touch (I used it all). The server was attentive and helpful in assisting me in selecting a dish I would enjoy.

For sure our favorite Thai place in FWB and there are many to choose from around here! Love their weekday buffet! Great price, super fresh food! Their Tom Kha Gai can not be beat!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Fort Walton Beach. I come to Hurlburt every month for work and I make a special effort to come here. The staff is very friendly and the owner is so nice. The Tum Yum soup is perfect. The green curry and pad thai are my standards. Their mango and sticky rice is a must. My favorite part about this place is that it is privately owned and they are extremely accommodating. If you would like something changed about your order, or something that is not on the menu, just ask and they will do their best to get it for you.

I am *seriously* surprised at all the glowing reviews for this restaurant. There are so many other, better Thai restaurants in the area. The lunch buffet was pitiful. Note: there's more to Thai food than just Pad Thai!

They have chopsticks on every table here (forks too) and watching a stubborn eight-year old trying to eat with chopstticks for the first time is an exercise in patience. My Little Sister ordered the Pad Thai and I had the cashew chicken. The portions were so big, I had to help her eat the Pad Thai and the cashew chicken was breakfast for the next three days. The menus kind of limited but the quality is good.

There was pretty much nothing good on the lunch buffet. Pretty bland, boring food.

Had dinner with the family. Had the yellow curry w/ chicken, pad thai w/ chicken and cashew chicken... I know a lot of chicken. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. We really enjoyed! We would go back next time we are in town.

Lunch buffet has been great every time we go. Soft drinks are included in the price but the sweet tea is usually bland. Will definitely try their entrees when we go next time.
