    Really disappointed with this particular location. This was my 2nd time there and this time was no different. My biggest issue here is CUSTOMER SERVICE. We walked in 11:30, granted that they close at 12am. We weren't expecting to much variety in food since we only needed one order of whatever it was they still had . (I Just got out of work and wanted dinner to go) Walking in, there was someone by the drive thru window taking care of that and a guy washing down the stoves, as is understandable in a fast food place, 30 minutes before close. There were other women behind the counter just walking back and forth laughing and talking with each other not once greeting us so say anything at all. Not hi, we'll be with you shortly, or welcome or sorry we have no food, nothing. They just glanced at us and kept walking/talking . After a while i said "is anyone taking orders here? " . One lady amongst them finally answered. Now being its our second time at this restaurant in general, we weren't to sure how the menu works, as we had no luck finding out last time we were there and just said okay to whatever eventually just wanting to leave. So we hope this time would be different. We asked her about the sides that come with the meal she said, you choose whatever you like, it's up to. I said to her i understand that but id like to know what can i choose from and what comes with it, that way we'll know if it's enough or if we should add things on the side. She just stood there and watched me as if waiting for me to answer. I could go into further details but honestly im still annoyed. My husband very firmly said to me once we left, that we are never coming back here. We just wanted one order of ribs with rice and beans preferably with yellow rice. Only to be told that yellow rice was extra which was what my question had been about in the first place. We just wanted to know what it came with, what the sides were, and what would be extra. Looking at huge menu hung up behind them is not only time consuming, seeing that they were closing in 30 minutes but also confusing as most things are when you're trying to take less time as possible, plus we already stood there starting at it while waiting patiently for someone to acknowledge us. I would think that they had a way to break down and introduce the menu. For example she could have said, "if you are interested in the ribs, you can have it with white rice and beans or if you'd like, you can have yellow rice for extra $. However for ___ dollars, you can also choose to get ribs with two sides, where you can have yellow rice and the following ____ sides. ". Honestly that was all we wanted to know. When the food was ready another woman just put it in a bag, i walked over and she handed it to me without saying a word. The food however was average but definitely not returning to this location.

    Customer service is very poor, the manger "Maggie" is extremely rude. They forgot to put lettuce on my tropichop and when I kindly let them know the manager caught an attitude. She could have just given me the lettuce and continued about her day but she argued with me and cut me off mid-sentence. I made a complaint about her to guest services and I won't be returning to this location ever again

    Pretty bad service, even for fast food. Took 15 minutes to get our very basic and simple order on a pretty slow Saturday. The girl gave us 2 stale rolls and when I asked for new ones she replied "one per person, sorry". Holy crap are you serious?

    Terrible service!!!! Employee (Shelly) curses while the manager (Dina) stands there laughing. Unacceptable customer service after a long wait in line. Waited at least 15 minutes in line before they took they order and it's one of those drive thrus you can't reverse once you're in line so then I waited at least another 20 minutes. If there were toilet seats instead of stars they would get 5 of those. Sucked for me but La Granja down the street made it all better, got my rice and chicken with smiles :)

    The large Tropichop portions are small!!! Not sure if they're trying to ration their food for the rest of the day, but the Pollo Tropical on Commercial and Lyons is so much more generous with the rice and chicken, granted it takes forever for them to take your order. It was 11 am when I went to get the food, and there weren't any cars. It's not like they ran out; they're just stingy. Not going to this location any more.

    Brand new pollo tropical in a busy shopping plaza. Everything is new and clean. Service is a bit slow. Might be the lunch time rush. Good luck
