My first impression was the place was very clean and organized which is atypical for the Keys. I thought the service was extra special and had a southern approach/hospitality. Our waitress (Megan) did a great job explaining the history of the location and the family involvement from front of house to kitchen. My food was grilled yellowtail, steamed broccoli and cole slaw. The fish was well prepared and the broccoli was al dente. The cole slaw was basic but lacked any unique flavor. One interesting item was the Picadillo slider. This was very tasty and had a sweet plantain tucked away inside! Overall I'd go back for the fish, service and the Picadillo Slider.

Great food and service. Was a little empty for lunch but it was Monday. The restaurant is located on an awkward corner but the food and service was worth it. Sandwiches were great and the presentation of the food was wonderful. The chef came and helped clean off our table and asked us if we liked or needed anything else. Great service and experience.

After a good weekend in Key West we started to hit the road and eventually find something on our way home. Well I was sleeping when I woke up to the silence and the heat. I have to be honest, we walked in and I was like uh oh, this place is probably not going to be good. With a major hangover, I probably would've ate anything so I sat down with the rest of my group. I didn't know what to order. I knew a salad was the healthiest but not the best for hangovers. I didn't know what I wanted, so I ordered beef nachos from the appetizers. Everyone's food was coming out, salads, jambalayas, burgers, and there was my nachos. O-M-G huge!! Had so much goodness to it. I was so happy with my choice, they even used queso fresco not those generic powder/cream cheese's. I know it's just nachos but it was pretty darn good. The portions are huge! Now the service.... This is not Miami, it was the keys and I didn't get her name but she was awesome. Always tentative and I couldn't be any happier. This is definitely a place out of nowhere but is really good. The menu is small and simple. Sometimes places get too overwhelming so this worked out perfect.

I stopped by here to get a closer look...and a photo on our way through marathon on the way to Key West. We wanted a quick bite to eat as the stop n go traffic extended our trip there to the point we were starting to digest the inner walls of our stomachs (at least it felt that way). It's a 50-60 seat restaurant with cool and colorful decor. My Yelp app gave it's blessing to try this menu out. We had the Gumbo and the "Cuban Reuben" with pulled pork instead of corned beef. While the Gumbo was too watery and not as tasty, the Cuban Reuben was incredible. There are a few good craft drafts on tap. Don't get the Grapefruit Margarita. It was made with Ruby Red Grapefruit juice, which was a good thing, but their lime juice is Rose's or something just as wretched. I recommend squeezing four or five limes, adding simple syrup, tequila, triple sec, and grapefruit. It takes a few more seconds but is much better. This is a winner for the Cuban Reuben. It's worth going Nowhere to get...

The staff is so friendly, and takes pride in its menu. I knew I was in for a treat, and I wasn't disappointed. I had the pulled pork, which was really good. It included seasoned pulled pork, which was really good, sweet plantains, white rice and black beans. It was fantastic. Even more impressive was the appetizer - beer-battered mushrooms with a spicy dipping sauce - that was, once again, terrific. I finished it off with a slice of tango mango cheesecake, which was really good. We stopped in because traffic on US 1 was backed up due to a bad accident on our way from the Keys to Fort Lauderdale. What a gem. The menu, itself, includes several Latin-inspired entrées. I would encourage you to check this place out while on your visits to and/or from Key West.

Not sure why it was so empty the night we went but it was delicious! My daughter had the Cuban and said it was the best sandwich she's every had. I had the yellow tail snapper sandwich blackened and it was super yummy as well. So go and try them. You won't be disappointed!

My family & I stopped in for dinner and were seated and given menus promptly. The menu seemed a bit limited ( one page ) but we decided on our meals. The problem was after 15 minutes no one came to take our order. I guess they were too busy serving the regulars at the bar. We ended up leaving .

Gumbo is good! The place is a little bright with lights. But that is ok I like to see my food first time around! Also had a patty melt and enjoyed it too. Will go again.

I came here unexpectedly. Its a family owned restaurant - I loved it! I got the sirloin. It was super tasty plus the sweet plantains was so good I plan on coming back here whenever I'm in the area!

Went for lunch and had the pork, rice and beans. Good Cuban food. Service was very good. Going back again now to try something else on the menu.

Servers are very friendly and the place is clean. The food is very average. The Greek salad is covered in oregano and the cheese is smeared onto the lettuce, it's not good. Maybe I picked the wrong meal? Hope you have better luck.

Very hidden gem in the middle of nowhere! Great food and managed to land on this spot on a karaoke Thursday! Great environment and it has that family feel! Highly recommend!

We ate there Friday night and were very pleasantly surprised. It wasn't busy which is sad and I hope that changes soon. The menu is very nice lots of different takes on average items is how I would describe it I had the churrasco steak and shrimp and was very happy. Two had the coconut snapper I believe it was and they too were very happy. My wife had the sloppy José's and thought they were very good as well. Service was fine, The ambience was nice - we will go back! Keep the food good and the service consistent and people will eventually come.
