Seriously, if I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The restuarant is nice & clean, but the service is AWFUL. Without fail, every single time I go here whether it's for a dozen bagels or one, the service sucks. Today, I watched the counter help literally skip over my order multiple times to make other stuff. Finally had to call them out on being the WORST. Thanks a lot, Einstein. I left your lousy bagel shop infuriated. Never, ever again.

I am up in the air about them. I just was craving a bagel the morning I stopped in and sometimes they are good and sometimes its bad, real bad. So of all my visits I give them a 3 start. When its good they warm the bagel up for me and the cream cheese is nice and smooth. When its bad the bagel could be mistaken for a rock and the cream cheese is crumbly and not spreadable.

I'm really surprised at the reviews here, because having been to several Einstein locations, this one blows the others away. First of all, I am always looking for a good clean lively place with strong Wi-Fi to work remotely, and this fits the bill. It's the largest Einstein's I've seen, and they even have a large conference room in the back that you can rent for meetings that seats about 25 people. The seating is comfortable, the coffee is fresh and good (try the Vanilla Hazelnut) and it's bright and clean. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful - not sure what precipitated all the bad reviews regarding that. The 6-cheese bagel is not going to win any authentic NYC bagels awards, but it's still delicious with a hot coffee and a laptop. :) I will definitely make this a regular place to get a lot of work done and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great food horrible service. Always run out of their best bagels on Sunday, always blame on Sunday crowd (how about make more bagels). On top of that you call and have them hold what they always run out of and they end up losing it or giving it away. Great food awful store and crap service...

OMG this place has the WORST service ever and I would give them zero stars if I could. The first time i visited the guy that was helping me had his back turned and didn't even realize i was waiting to order. Since I was annoyed he was completely oblivious and was in the middle of some pointless conversation with another worker who was actually FACING me, I decided to just see how long it would take for them to even do some work. After about five minutes I got his attention and he turned, didn't' smile or apologize and said "oh...what do you want to get"........excuse me!?!? If I wasn't on the mission to get food for my coworkers I would have asked for a manager, complained, then left without spending a dime but I kept quiet. The same guy that took my order rang me up and I got no thank you, no have a nice day....nothing. I was so annoyed I went back to the office and complained to my coworkers and for some reason didn't write my Yelp review then and there. That being said, the other day I was craving a bagel so I decided to give them another try. A completely different person helped me and she was the same way! Acted like she hated her life, wanted to do anything else in the world besides help me, and mumbled so quietly I had to as her to repeat herself probably 5 times. The coffee tasted burnt and horrible and I've been able to put up with bad coffee before just because I was desperate for caffeine but I couldn't even drink this stuff. Never ever ever will I go to this location again!!!!!!

Man, you people are harsh. How can you not like Einstein Bagels? I love this place. I mean I don't eat there often but when I do I enjoy everything. They've got all kinds of things to choose from. I just think about soup every time I go to this particular location because it used to be that Zoup place or zip? I can't remember exactly what it was called but everything on their menu started with a Z. Anyway, back to Einstein's...they are great and deserve some more stars. I've given them my love. Check it out for yourself if you have never tried one. It's a stand alone deal in the parking lot of that strip mall that has Athena's Chicken and Firehouse Subs right in Maitland on 17-92 across the street from the Dodge's Store.

I have given this location many chances to impress me, yet they always fail miserably. This morning was my last visit...it took 14 minutes to get a small coffee and egg bagel to go. They never seem to have enough staff to efficiently help customers. Epic fail.

I must have really bad luck with every Einstein location I visit. This makes me sad. Why does it take so long to microwave egg and put it on a bagel that is toasted via machine? Why do the people working there look as though they're half asleep/on drugs and move like they're feet are in drying cement? Why do they get my order wrong more often than not? So many questions! They would have gotten two stars but I added an extra one because their Nova Lox & Bagel is LEGIT! I may even go so far as to say they are too legit to quit. Hey hey! I'm sorry.

Need a Brueggers in these parts really bad or someone from New York that knows how to make bagels to move down here and open a shop. These aren't bagels. Bagels are crusty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. These are poor rolls in the shape of bagels. What would compel anyone to go here and purchase a bagel? Ray's bagels from the Publix freezer are a better option.

This Einstein isn't the greatest. The other one on 17-92 in winter park is exponentially better. They always mess up orders, and I've had more than one coworker comment that the kid at the register seems to be high as a kite every morning. That's all fine and good on his own time but it's super annoying when you're on your way to work and someone is repeating your order three times in a slow monotone voice and still getting it wrong! Also, a general complaint of mine with this chain is their "butter-margarine blend" (margarine=barf) and the fact that their ham tastes like turkey, which is a bit disturbing.
