Was referred to this place by my friend who is known as uncle larry. He has been going there for 15+ years. Love the people and love the karaoke. Great owners. Just a terrific little bar.

Cool place if you like smokey, dark bars that have three bland beers on tap and a limited bottle selection. The people seemed nice, mostly regulars. They did have a pool table which got them an extra star. Had 2 yingling's for $5 and she had to charge an extra 6% because I used a debit card. Really? 6%. Who carries cash? Last time I come in here...

Attentive staff and great drink specials. Definitely you local hole in the wall. Everyone that goes there has been going there for over 10 years. I am happy to call it one of my regualr haunts.

Love this bar. I've always had awesome bartenders that take shots with my friends and I! Never been for karaoke but hear its a lot of fun. Only negative would be the cig smoke :(

I drive from Waterford Lakes to come here. Love this spot!! Karaoke, great drink prices, and I can't tell you how great it is to have everyone be nice to you no matter what you wear or who your with. If you come and don't feel comfortable, have a drink and relax because trust me you will meet someone maybe meet new friends and have a great time. All the bartenders and waitress are awesome. I do have a favorite though. Trixie rocks!! :)

Don't think I can say enough about this place! LOVE IT. Only went once for a friends party, but its on my radar to return when I'm in the area. The drinks are VERY affordable, the staff is awesome. It's a true dive. Smokey, grimey, people from all walks of life interacting, some amazingly talented (and some not-so-amazingly talented) kareoke performers, people who will probably die on their bar stool, free chips...an amazigly good time! Those overly concerned with what other people think of them, fanatical about their health, or offended by political incorrectness don't even bother gracing the door frame. Leave the space for those who enjoy being in a smokey bar full of second family once in a while

Kizzy & I rate this one star because not only do we clearly not belong here but we didn't arrive on a Harley with several packs of marlboros. While the shot of patron went down smooth the emphysema we incurred however did not! Bottoms up! General population consists of 1980s tube socks and fluffed up hair you may want to reconsider this selection. Cough cough, wait wait he also has a fannypack

Cheers is really a great place. I'm not and never have been a smoker and this is a smoke-friendly bar. But if you can get over that, you'll find some of the nicest people who just like to have a good time. I've been nothing but welcomed by Randy and his entire staff and have enjoyed my times there. They have happy hour every day. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

We drove by and saw sign We have been to other cheers in area they are all individually owned You can smoke here Nice dive bar!! No food We would come back when in area

Cheap drinks and a heavy pour. The last we were here some douchy washed up high school football player type came in loudly identifying himself as "one of the owners" and that killed the cheerful mood, but other than that the place is great. If you don't mind the smoke then scoot up to the bar and order a round! The bar tender was a hoot!

We love little hole in the wall bars and this is definitely what this place is! But super friendly staff, good drink specials, and karaoke Wednesday/Friday/Saturday! We frequent this place because it's close to home and because the staff is so great... Especially Trixie!

It's a total dive bar, full of smoke, ugly decor, and an odd combination of seating that includes booths, random chairs, and bar stools. The ambiance won't be what brings you here, but don't let it keep you out. The karaoke here is a blast. Craig is the DJ, and the guy knows how to have a great time with everyone there. He has the best book of songs out there, I have yet to think of anything he doesn't have, and he keeps the singers moving, without loading up on favorites like some places can do. Go there once or twice, and he'll remember you when you come by. As for the bar staff, they are great. Drink specials are typically going on, and you can't beat free popcorn. It is just one of those places that you can easily become a regular at, and it will live up to the "where everybody knows your name" mantra. I don't get out near as much as I used to, but when I do, Cheers Maitland is typically on the top of the list.

Now THIS is a dive. Booze and karaoke 7 nights a week, and everyone seems to know each other, like some strange, extremely dysfunctional family. My girlfriend and I came here on a whim one night. One last drink to cap off the evening, the kind you always regret in the morning. Somehow that one drink turned into 3, and I found myself on the stage singing Johnny Cash, and enjoying a standing ovation. A not-so-petite woman followed me up with a drunken rendition of "Red Neck Woman", to equal applause. We had entered a world where shame had no meaning, and everyone felt free to be their hard drinking songbird selves. The bartenders were quick and helpful, and one even sang a song through a hands-free mic while at the same time serving us drinks. Although I was indeed hurting in the morning, my clothes smelling of stale smoke and karaoke dust, I would definitely come here again. Also, it helped that the check came out to under $20 for the whole night.
