O'neal's is just what you expect from a local home style country buffet. The outdated Formica tables and booths, the terrazzo concrete floor, waitress with southern charm and an endless restocking from the kitchen of the buffet. There is always fried chicken with the selection on other days varying from fried pork chops, liver & onions, country fried steak, chicken wings, fried pork ribs. The variety of sides also vary every day, but generally you will find mashed potatoes, farm peas and some type of greens every day. Cornbread and biscuits included on the buffet as well. In addition to the buffet there is a salad bar and dessert bar. Ice cream is available on request with sweet tea, lemonade or water included in the price of the buffet, currently $9.00 for lunch.

Depending on where you are from or what demographic this is Country Cookin', Grandma's Cooking, or Soul Food! Maybe a combo of all three so you really can't go wrong. Went here on the recommendation of a customer I was with and the food was perfect all the way around! The fried chicken was fresh (in other words the chicken wasn't frozen before it was fried) large selections of veggies, fried foods, sweet tea and dessert! I also had the chicken fingers, rice, lima beans, green beans and various other items topped of with a southern staple of banana pudding. All the way around a great experience to this little mom and pop, small town place. Pretty much everyone knew everyone there. It's definitely a HOLE in the WALL

My husband and I were driving from Panama city beach to Orlando and found this place on yelp. It was some of the best food I've ever had. The fried chicken was beyond amazing. Also the sweet potato casserole, cabbage, corn bread and mashed potatoes were really good. Great stop.

Got the job done on a long road trip. Very country style patrons and southern style food. The fried chicken was good and the best thing was the broccoli salad and the sweet potato casserole.

Great buffet in Madison, on Thursdays the fried chicken and the ranch chicken wings outstanding. It's a great southern buffet if you want to get your southern fix

Heading East on 10, me and my daughter decided to check near by restaurants and the "Country Buffet" caught our attention so we decided to head a couple miles off the hwy and try it out. What a great decision. Exactly what we had hoped for. Small town, home country style cooking. cheese grits, fried chicken, fried catfish, mac & cheese, BBQ ribs, sweet potato casserole with a layer of those baby marshmallows on the top and lots of other little sides and fried dishes. I had some fried chicken that was perfectly done, juicy and crispy with ribs that were amazing, some mac & cheese, french fries, some turkey and stuffing casserole and baked beans. We went back for some fried catfish to try on my second run. My daughter had Fried Chicken, cheese grits and sweet potato casserole. All was yummy and hot. I was surprised that at 3pm in the afternoon it was busy and food was coming out of the kitchen to restock left and right. The best part was probably the dessert. They had a full station dedicated to apple, peach and cherry cobbler. OMG. I tried them all and also got a little banana pudding which was great. The people were very nice. Going out of their way to make us feel comfortable, etc... Loved the people and atmosphere. I highly recommend this place and we will be back next time through.
