Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Yummy pizza and yummy garlic knots. Will be back to support my local pizza joint. And want to try some of their other Italian offerings too.

I can only comment on the take out service from Amici's seeing as that's what we used, but what a great experience it was! When we went to pick up our order, they were very busy, but despite that they had our pies ready in just over 20 minutes. They took the order quick and efficiently and, upon arriving to pick up our order, greeted us promptly, cashed us out, and even checked our order and showed us each pie to assure that everything was done correctly. This is just a little gesture but definitely means a lot. The pizza is AMAZING and will be our new go to place when we visit my mom in this area from now on. I am excited to try out the rest of their food and their dining room service.

Went by today at 345 says on here they open at 3 but the open light was off so confused on the hours.

Good pizza but the crust was too chewy. Also, it's a small restaurant and everyone in there was staring at me as I was picking up my order.

Worst service ever! Stood at the door for 20 minutes and a huge party who just walked in for sat before us. There were only four of us. We walked out. Will never go back

Great Lil Italian place right in Wesley Chapel. They have the best NYC style pizza in the area. Another item they are known for is there awesome garlic knots which are always made to order fresh...
(4)Liz L.
So I just left Amici's, we had an extra cheese pizza and buffalo wings. There was a mistake on my order and the cook and the waitress were so understanding giving us a "hook up" on the food. The pizza was delicious, the wings were very tasty and the only place in the area which serves BEEF PATTY WItH CHEESE, just like I used to eat in NY. The food is so good I would recommend it to everyone.

I have been there twice while visiting my inlaws. They have great pizza and antipasto salad. My husband waited 3 years for Amici's and tonight's dinner was excellent as usual. His parents eat there all the time. We wish they had a place like this in California.
(5)Tracey S.
We used their side room for a graduation party. They were so accommodating! They let us set up a chocolate fountain, play our own music, set up a slide show. Great food, wonderful service. Highly recommended for a party.

Visited on 10/6/14 as I just moved about a mile up the street from Amici's. I am from NY so I know a little more then most about good NY style pizza. I have to say the pizza here was as close to NY style pizza as you will find in Florida. I will be returning to Amici's for sure, and plan on take out at least once a week. You guys definitely passed my test for pizza !
(4)Dolores C.
The pizza is yummy. Owners are from Sicily and the food is authentic. Family friendly little local restaurant.
(4)Jenna E.
I can totally survive on their garlic knots and sauce alone! And then the calazones! Thank you for amazing food!!
(5)Cara K.
Pretty good! I took my parents here while visiting them in FL, as it's one of their favorite go-to places. It's not much to look at - in a strip shopping center, not very plush on the inside, but oh my goodness does it smell good in there!! Everyone was happy with their meals, but the bread was the big winner! Each dinner entree came with a salad and a large piece, border-line loaf, of delicious bread, complete with marinara dipping sauce. It was so tasty we just had to request more! It you're looking for a casual Italian spot in this area, give it a try!

Worst restaurant ever. Went in...ordered a small pizza...garlic knots and a sandwich....got the pizza and got told it would be 10 mins more for a sandwich...never got our garlic knots and ended up cancelling the sandwich since no one seemed to see what was wrong with not getting a family meal TOGETHER. Will never go there again...this was the first and last time...wouldn't recommend wasting an hour of your time....

Always great....authentic (old world Italian owner) New York Pizza, and truly family owned.
(5)Erick G.
Been coming here for years since i moved to this part of New Tampa....Great Pizza...family friendly... The strombolis are huge!!!! your tempted to order a large for a few bucks more and it could feed a family! Not the best pizza I have ever had but for the area and the $ you can't go wrong.

Have eaten at this establishment many many years ago and protested since due to bad service but decided to roll the dice as we remembered the product to be very authentic and very good. If you like foldable large slices of New York style pizza then Amichis is the oven for you. Very hot, very fresh ingredients. Sweet italian sausage from flavor town and the cheese actually has flavor instead of a gooey texture with no taste to it. I didn't get the crust coma fr the dough as some pizza doughs leave you feeling heavy and lazy and sleepy. Lol. This was doughy on the bottom an crispity crusty on the edges. You can tilt a slice and not have a tablespoon of grease run off your slice. Very well prepped and and just a great Italian experience. I'm glad that we decided to forgive and forget and plan on returning again soon. One thing. The place is small and they have all ovens running on all cylinders. It's very hot in the restaurant and it feels as if the a/c is non existent. It's better to take your meal on the road. It's time for a move to a bigger place and higher ceilings to give the oven heat a place to go. All in all a good dining experience. Manga!!

great customer service, pizza was ok

Took a gamble and tried amici's pizza last night. What a great pie! Had a large pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. The dough was thin but not too crispy, there sauce was plentiful and flavorful and the cheese was amazing. I love it and will definitely be back for more.
(4)Rachel F.
The pizza is better than average, and salads are fresh and okay. What I really miss are the soups which were so good (honestly, the best) on those days when you catch a cold or flu bug. I wish they would bring back the soups!
(3)Edwin O.
The best place for pizza in the Tampa Bay Area. I lived in Jersey and I most say Amici is way better! Great staff, they treat you like family. Thanks Amici!!!
(5)Dianna G.
By far the best Italian rest in pasco co. We love the meatballs and the stuffed pizza. Our neighbors from New York originally told us about this place, great recommendation from a couple that really know their italian restaurants
(5)Helen L.
Typical pizzeria that I'm use to growing up with all the brick internal walls and brick oven. I was surprised to see how large it was inside since there were about about 10-12 tables in total. They serve the basic toppings on the pizzas and different types. There are appetizers, salads, desserts, cold subs, hot subs, pasta dishes, dinners, and even kids meals.
(3)Shane C.
this is our local pizza spot. very italian. family run, seems each summer the family shuts down for one month and returns to Italy
(4)Chris P.
I use to eat there once a week. Stopped going there after terrible customer service, especially the rude hostess. I walked out. I even called the manager to tell him the bad experience and he blew it off like it was nothing and probably happens all the time. There are too many good pizza places around here. I will not be back.
(2)Milo B.
My "go to" Pizza place. Family run, hard working folks. Good prices, great food. Nothing fancy. Killer garlic knots. NY style pizza and menu.
