Great food at a great price! I have only had the Gyros but honestly they are so good I don't know If I can try anything else! Seriously this is a hidden gem! The only problem is the location. It is hard to get in and out of, but other than that, it is awesome!

I stopped in for a late lunch and tried the gyro. YUM! The meat was carved off the rotisserie and finished on the flat-top grill, right next to the pita bread. Tomatoes, lettuce, onions and tzaziki sauce topped it off. It was a hefty gyro. It's a tiny place, next to the railroad tracks and only one lady was working, so it took a few minutes to get my food, but it was worth it. There are BOGO coupons available in some coupons books, so I lucked out and got 2 gyros for about $7. If you are in the area, it's worth stopping by.

If you want fresh to order, good looking and great tasting food. Grab a newspaper or magazine and go to zorba's. I have the breakfast special on Saturday. Great tasting, home cook style and delicious. Toast, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and hash browns. There is always several people with to go orders So plan ahead. Locals have discovered this gem and you should explore it too... Don't forget to get some To die for macaroons before you go!!!

This place is a gem. I really liked the flavors in the gyro i ordered. The chicken was very well seasoned and tasty. The service was good and fast. It is a small establishment, I recommend it.

It's now Carrie's Bistro. It's very good food. Usually I have a gyro salad. Tonight I had a beef kabob and it was so flavorful. One kabob with a Greek salad special for $7.99 The salad dressing is fantastic and veggies are crisp. Perfect amount of feta. A very friendly family. They tried to do breakfasts for a bit but have gone back to lunch and dinner and I'm glad, we like their food.

I love gyros and this place is a wonderful place to enjoy one. I stopped in the other day and was greeted warmly by the man behind the counter. He made my order (one traditional gyro and one with chicken) quickly and efficiently. The fries were even fried to order to a crispy perfection! Their Gyro Special (gyro, fries and drink for $7.99) is a wonderful deal. The gyro itself was overflowing with deliciousness. I highly recommend this place for a gyro to-go.

horrible. the customer service doesn't even register to the person. When I walked in it reminded me of subway, except subway treats you and the food better. I ordered the Spinach and Feta melt, which said it had spinach and feta on pita with cheeses. I had asked if it was spicy because I cant eat onions and peppers he said no problem. I got my order it had tomatoes, onions, olives, and PEPPERS on it. And after I took off almost everything it tasted just awful. Never going again.

The food was delicious; this isn't what my complaint is about, though. The place was full and vivacious when I arrived with my boyfriend for a quick Saturday lunch. However, shortly thereafter, the place was empty except for the owner and several other employees. I asked the owner for a box - he exchanged a few quick words with my boyfriend after my boyfriend put up a fuss about me boxing the food he was still eating. The owner then proceeded to make a joke by asking my boyfriend how my cooking tastes. They exchanged jocular comments, then the owner rebutted with a comment about the inferiority of women and how that is proudly stated at his business. I was offended, but not devastated. However, the final blow came as we were exiting. He made another sexist comment directly to me this time. I love to joke yet found this not only unprofessional, but hurtful. I love great food but I will not support a misogynist's business if their company or personal philosophy involves belittling customers.

My Mom and I stopped in Zorbas last night to pick up something quick after attending my daughter's school open house. We used to frequent Cypriana in Casselberry and it is our understanding that it is the same owners. Unfortunately, I did not even have a chance to taste the food. To begin, there was only one guy working in the whole place, meanwhile 3 other customers walked in right after we did. There was no warm welcome or anything from this guy. We clearly were in line first to place our order but he tried to skip over us to the next person until we brought it to his attention. My mother placed her order for a bowl of soup and before I could even tell him my order for my daughter and I, he briskly walked off and took the order of the people behind us. At that point I just decided that I wasn't going to order anything from this place. It only took him 30 seconds to pack my Mother's soup (to go) but yet he had us wait almost 10 minutes until he started all of the other orders before ringing her up. Needless to say, I won't be going back to this place.

There are not a lot of greek places that are quick. Most of them are nicer sit-down places. This is a fast place to grab some a good gyro. They have lots of options and the prices are reasonable. The food isn't gourmet, but is tasty - both my wife and I have liked everything we have tried. The only reason it doesn't get the 5th star is their french fries are usually overcooked (although still ok with the seasoning they put on it).

Just tried this place, thought it was great! It took awhile to get our food but it was well worth it. Food was tasty, great service and very reasonably priced

Isn't it amazing how little gems of wonder can be found in nowhere-in-particular plazas? I can't believe that this fellow traveled 3000 miles from Greece to open a genuine gyro joint in Winter Springs, of all places. I'm glad he did. We had a gyro. Get a gyro, the one whose picture is everywhere with the 6.95 meal deal. It was incredible, fresh, cut from the rotating hunk of meat and ready in moments. Baklava wasn't bad either. You heard it here first, folks. This is some genuine gyrotica.

Stumbled on to this place one night when I went to Bite for a burger but found it closed permanently. Ended up ordering a traditional gyro with lamb and a Greek salad. It was very good and prefect for the rush that I was in. Service was quick but I was the only customer. Lol. I will go back to try some other items on the menu. They had good prices for lunch and dinner, so if you are watching your wallet you'll be happy.

It is now Carrie's bistro and I am so happy we went in. We visited when it was Zorba's and it was ok but did not have enough variety for my picky husband. It was Saturday night and we were the only people in the restaurant. We should not have been because it was very good and service was excellent. First, it is a family owned business. We live in Orlando with way too many chains and we all need to make family owned businesses a first choice. Second, when they serve good food, it is a must! We started with Beef Samosas (beef, peas, carrots, potatoes with a blend of spices). They are deep fried with a very tasty dipping sauce. It was a nice starter. We had a philly and gyro with fries. They were good but now let's get to the reason for 4 stars. I would go with 4.5 but it was not an option. I tried the Beef Oxtail, with a side of rice pilaf and green beans. The meat fell off the bone, the sauce was thick and the rice soaked it up nicely. The green beans had some stewed tomato with them. This oxtail was excellent. My three year old kept wanting more of the meat. This is a must try. If someone is a little nervous about it, trust me- don't be nervous. It was delicious and you could tell it was made with heart. It was not spicy and was so filling! They were kind enough to cut up some fruit for my 3 year old. It was a fresh array of apples, mango and banana. It was not on the menu but my son prefers fruit over fries. They were very accommodating. The mom was cooking and the son was serving. They wanted to make sure everything was good and made sure to check on us. Give them a try. You will find kind of an eclectic mix on the menu but my gut tells me to go with the homemade entrees that include stew, oxtail, beef brisket, kebobs and more! They are open for a late breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try it....

I have eaten a few times with a good experience but this Friday for lunch take out we were disappointed, I noticed they had a hard time cutting the meat for the Gyro because it was at its end and when I got home found the sandwich to have very little meat and in small pieces and the pita fell apart. $2.25 for roasted potatoes (4) small wedges. Almost $20 dollars for lunch was not worth it today. If I was a dine in it would have gone back. Probably an off day but I probably will not return.

Zorba's is a great place for lunch! I have tried the traditional gyro, gyro melt and the Greek salad with gyro meat/rotisserie chicken, which were all very good. I prefer the gyro meat over the rotisserie chicken which was not flavorful enough for me, although it was cooked very well. The gyros are very large and are filled with lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki . Everything here is made to order so either call in your order in advance or be prepared to wait around 10 minutes to get your food--don't worry, it's well worth it! This is a small local business and they are usually very accommodating as far as 'personalizing' your order. For around $10 you can get a gyro, fries and a drink, which is pretty reasonable for the amount of food that comes with the meal.

I bought a restaurant.com gift card for Zorba's Eatery. I fugured I would give it a try. My family (3 adults) ate here all for $17 and to be honest it was very good. Two of us had the traditional gyro's and one of us had this spinach-like pizza. It's not called a pizza but it looks like one. Our gyro's were much better than the spinach meal. The service was great; the place was clean. The shop is little place within a shopping center right on the corner of 434 and 427. Check it out!

Marty and I stopped here for lunch the other day. He knows I am a huge fan of greek food and since they also offer a rotisserie style chicken, he could also eat here (He doesn't eat lamb or fish so that often takes Greek restaurants out of the running for us). This is not a full service sit down restaurant but more of a deli. You order at the counter and then have a seat. I chose a Greek salad with Gyro meat. This was a very generous salad, that overflowed the plate. There was lots of feta and more gyro meat than I should have consumed in one sitting (although I did). Marty had the aforementioned chicken with sides of potatoes and string beans. The chicken was moist and nicely seasoned. The potatoes were garlicky and cheesy. Ordinarily, the beans would not have been his first choice but there were only three side choices, two of which were potatoes, so he went for the beans. He actually ate them all and if you know Marty you know that is impressive. He said they were the only green beans he has ever liked in his life ... EVER!. They were cooked in a traditional Greek tomato sauce that was nice and sweet and filled with spicy cinnamon undertones - one of the reasons he liked them so much. It's nice to have an option for some very reasonable priced Greek deli style foods that we can both enjoy. We will go back.

Very good. Lamb Gyro dinner was nice.

The service is great. Speedy and very friendly. The food is dynamite. The gyro is excellent as is the Tzatziki sauce. I grew up frequenting Greek diners and this little shop dishes out some great food. The fries are even good and they dust them with some Mediterranean spices. Fantastic. I work very close and have been here a few times. It's become one of my favorites. Good homemade baklava as well. Gotta love it.

Best falafel I've had!

Great little Greek place. Stopped in for lunch and I had the rotisserie chicken, stewed green beans, and potatoes. The owner personally prepared and served our food. Owner was super nice with a kind smile and the food was filling and good. Too bad I had to go back to work afterward:(

The spinach chicken melt $6.50 was great but the fries could use a little work. My wife had the veggie combo $6.99 that included falafel, tzatziki, hummas and grape leaves. She was quite happy. These guys are fun and quick but they are not so good at the customer service. It's more about the food. We'll be back for sure.

A wonderful Greek snack shop with delicious gyros, falafel, hummus, roast chicken, baklava, and other delicacies. Hit it for lunch or a quick dinner and your taste buds will thank you. Located near the train tracks in Longwood on 434 where the Quiznos used to be. This is a welcome replacement. Always fresh food, served with a smile. I love the gyros. Just finished one as I write this.

Delicious fresh Greek food! Love the melts that remind you of a mini pizza.

This review is for Carrie's Bistro. Food was fresh and flavorful with good prices for lunch. The hummus is really excellent- thick and robust and not too oily like some places make it. The Greek Salad had a bit too much of the tasteless iceberg lettuce "heel" for my liking, but it was fine for a quick lunch and I did like the seasoning that was shaken into the salad. Owner's son works there as well and he is very friendly with excellent customer service. His mother however, who I assume to be the owner, was very rude and unnecessarily so. Although I was picking up take-out for my office, I tipped them $5 for the service which by all appearances was courteous and efficient upfront. The owner/mother offered two fountain drinks that were included in the price of two of the lunches, but which I declined because we have sodas and waters at the office. So not only did I tip, but I saved them $ on the fountain drinks. When I got back to the office my staff member, however, noticed that we only received 1/2 desserts which WERE shown on the receipt as PAID FOR, and we did not get the extra pita bread which the receipt also showed as PAID ($1.99). My office sent one of our staffers back to the restaurant after calling to let them know they had forgotten to give us these items. The son answered and was friendly and apologetic. But when my staffer went to the restaurant, she overheard the owner saying that my office was obviously trying to get some free pita bread and that she was certain she had put that into the bag. Apparently the customer does not matter to this owner. And that is too bad, as I'm certain my staff won't return after basically being called thieves. For 15 years we have shown consistent patronage to local restaurants, but no one needs to be hassled like that- especially when it was the restaurant's mistake and I felt we were very good customers in tipping and always being fair and polite. The son did call our office later to offer a free dessert- I'm sure he was trying to make up for the inappropriate comments of his mother. But the damage has been done and I doubt my staff will return.

Pricey but good. I eat here regularly. Never too busy so good for a good quick lunch if needed.

The name now is Carries Bistro. This was our first time here, and not our last. The prices are fair. We paid $20 for 2 Gyros and a Beef Samosa appetizer...both were amazing.
