Best place to go for sushi, Everyone is very friendly and family oriented. Pricing is reasonable, food is really good and it's local.

A delicious change of pace for lunch in an unlikely neighborhood. FYI-No matter what the map shows, this establishment is located just south of the intersection of 17-92 and 419. Happy Teriyaki has been in business for 17 years so they must be doing something right. I stopped in for the very first time today. I was looking for something civilized for lunch and, wow, I found it. I ordered the $8 sushi lunch combo and the $2.50 Japanese mini spring rolls (see photos). The soup was a lighter color than I am used to but had a fine flavor. The spring rolls came with a little bit of pickled crunchy stuff on the side that was great. The rolls themselves had a satisfyingly crisp, flaky texture and a delicate sauce in which to dip them, but the filling was a little sparse. The star of the combo was the sushi plate. The fish was delicate and flavorful, the portions just right, and the wasabi kicking. The plate was composed of 5 assorted pieces of sushi and a tuna roll. The standout was the piece of white tuna. Must order that again! I sat at the sushi bar and my servers were polite and attentive. I took off a star for the large TV showing, I think it was Rachel Ray, which dominated the wall behind the bar and was a little distracting. Not a fatal flaw. On this stretch of 17-92 there are not a lot of food options. Happy Teriyaki is way better than I expected for the area. This is a wonderful place to have lunch. I will definitely come back for the white tuna, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays when several Items on the sushi menu are only $2 for 2 pieces all day!

Happy Teriyaki. Was not a happy establishment nor did it have much teriyaki on the menu. For shame. Had an assortment of falling-apart, sub-standard rolls and salmon "teriyaki" (with the flavor of sugar and brown). Servers acted like they'd rather not be there and that's how I felt too.

Brought the wife there months ago and I kid you not two employees changed a $hitty baby's diaper on top of one of the tables a few feet from us while we were eating. We were the only ones in there and now I know why. Asian people: Don't bring all of your kids to work and please don't change their diapers on the tables where customers eat. Disgusting place.
