Fabulous meal. Great food and service. Eating dinner the way it was meant in Italy. Started out not knowing what to order, but with our waiters assistance it was hands down one of the next Italian meals I have ever had, from appetizers to dessert. Dropped about $150 for dinner for two with drinks. Not bad walking out full and satisfied.

Staff was amazing. Food was top notch. Had the special duck. Hubby enjoyed it. Moist and tasty. I had the filet formage. They gave me an extra serving of broccoli, at my request, because the five pieces of potato and one broccoli weren't sufficient for me. Considering the amazing bottle of wine we also paid for, my veggie request was free. also we requested our table be moved due to a large party, ladies probably like me celebrating a birthday, coming in by our first table.

If this was a one word review it would be WOW. Ive lived in italy so I know italian food. Started with anti pasto plates to pass - everything was fresh and tasty. I had the lamb shank - cooked to perfection - also got to taste the penne a la vodka - also amazing. The cake we had for desert and the cookes were also really tasty. The service was second to none. The view over the lake was beautiful. Dont let the exterior fool you - this place is top notch.

I happened upon this restaurant while out and about and am ashamed of myself for not knowing of it sooner. As a chef for many years, it is rare to find a restaurant that can elevate a meal to an experience. The experience starts with trying to choose what to order from a well conceived menu of classic old world Italian items. It follows with excellent service (our Server was Brandon and I highly recommend requesting him) that is thoughtful and professional. It continues with outstanding food quality and preparation. We ordered the Caprese, Wahoo (fish special), the Farfalle and the Beef Tenderloin Panini. I couldn't choose which was the best because they were all incredible. Last, but most certainly not the least, is the setting. Nestled on Lake Fairy for over 30 years, they have the most beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding the restaurant. They are breathtaking to say the least. It's easy to see why so many weddings and events take place here. Pricing for lunch was on point, but the dinner menu is on the high end. It is clearly worth the price of the experience, however. CB highly recommends it!!
SUPERB service. Food was to die for. Everything was made in house and thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend!

Totally amazing place! Go early for your reservation grab a drink from the bar take a stroll down to the lake..., take in the view, but make sure to go back to the bar and hang out with Pete for a while! Pete is a great bartender with awesome stories and the best personality. You don't even mind waiting when you have him and a drink. All of the food is awesome and our favorite server is Susan. Make sure to have some pasta with their famous vodka sauce. Veal scallopine is awesome, and deserts are to die for.

We did not have a pleasant experience here this weekend. We last went to Enzos about 10 years ago and the food and atmosphere was awesome. My husband and I decided to return there this weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations about a week in advance. When we got there, they greeted us and walked us into a back room to our table. Immediately upon entering the room, my husband and I looked at each other because there was a strong smell of urine. It was overwhelming. I don't know if it was from the open seafood bar they had set up in the back or what. It just smelled awful. The room was painted purple on the walls and The whole restaurant had a very moldy smell. There were a couple of loud parties in the room making the small room very noisy. Not romantic at all. It was certainly not a room I wanted to drop $200 in for my anniversary. I walked back to the hostess and asked her if we could be seated in the main dining room, which seemed much more elegant. She said she didn't have anything available there. Didn't really offer to do anything else for me. I returned to my table, and my husband and I decided to leave and find somewhere else. Needless to say, we will not be back to Enzos. It needs a lot of work inside. Did not smell very appetizing.

Ok, be honest here! I give this place 4 stars for view and authenticity. Taste wise; all the food was good. But that's just it, good not great. For the cost just expected something more grand I guess. Staff was great very nice kind waitress. A little loud at times during our meal; lots of "regulars".

Came here for my girlfriend's birthday and I have to say that overall the experience was pretty good. The house appetizer was very delightful. A combination of cannellini beans (on steroids), broccolini, roasted peppers, shaved parmesan with salami, roasted egg plant, and I think that was it. It was surprising good considering it's simplicity. What blew us away was the dressing on the vegetables. It was by no means over powering, and yet so tasteful. For my entree I ordered the short rib over pappardelle pasta ... oh my. The ribs were so tender, so incredibly flavored that it just blew me away. And over the pasta, it was an awesome combination. My girlfriend ordered the special, a NY sirloin strip with an espresso rub and some other very yummy flavors! It came paired with some roasted potatoes. But entrees were exquisite!! The dessert was the "house cake" for the birthday girl and it was well made. Nothing fabulous, but good. And at least the cappuccinos were made as they are meant to be. It was high quality coffee and very good. The ambiance was a bit odd. Beautiful setting before the sun sets since it is situated on a lake ... the name is true ... and very beautiful scenery. Inside the restaurant, well, it is nice, but I have to say the artwork on the walls was a bit odd. I would have envisioned some Italian art representing Venice, Pisa, Milan ... but not so. Oh well. Overall a bit pricey so it won't be a place to hit up often but for a special occasion, it is worth it!!!

Enzo's is a very good Italian restaurant. It opened in 1979 by Enzo Perlini on the lovely secluded lake in Longwood Florida. I gave it a 4 star because all the dishes were good but some were not great. I rarely give 5 stars to anywhere. I highly suggest a visit to Enzo's restaurant if you are looking for good Roma style Italian food in the Orlando area. It is also close to Winter Park Florida. Make sure to call in advance and make reservations because it is a very popular place since being in the same location for 35 years. Enzo has since passed away but his wife JoAnn still greets everyone at the door and is hands on with everything in the restaurant. There is a quaint Italian style: European bar for you to wait in if you arrive early.

Our family has been celebrating special events at Enzo's for about 25 years. We just had another this weekend. As is always the case the food was great and the service even better. We don't live close to Enzo's but it's worth the trip!

Very unhappy with the disrespect I just received on the phone as a faithful customer, and the fact that I brought a friend to the restaurant on a first date and they were closing the kitchen early and couldn't serve us. I have eaten here four or five times and was planning a first date on a weeknight so I called to make sure they would be open. When I arrived with my date, who had cleaned up beautifully, the kitchen was closing early and they were not able to serve us food so I had to make a last-minute change of plans and head down to Santiago's since their kitchen stays open late. To me this was forgivable and I would certainly have gone back to Enzos until today when I called to make a reservation and explained to the woman on the phone what happened, and was told quite forcefully three times in a row that they had never done that to anyone. I don't know why she felt that would be good customer service. But as a customer who likes to eat at the same restaurants over and over, accusing me of lying when I was recounting the situation not requesting anything, has removed Enzos from my list of recommendable restaurants. It is a family restaurant and I was starting to feel like part of the family. I suppose if I got a call acknowledging their failure and an invitation to dinner I might reconsider. My man and I chose to celebrate our anniversary at Enzo's and it was fantastic! The atmosphere of being In an old house was really nice while still maintaining a high class feel. We had a bottle of Italian prosseco and the antipasta to start. The only thing to the start of the menu I was surprised by was the fact that the bread (deliceous) was not accompanied by olive oil and seasoning, just butter. We both had one of the specials for the night. I had the pasta he had the fish and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had dessert, and it was deliceous. We had a great night, only wish was for a larger more structured parking lot.

Enzo's is a jewel, with authentic Italian cuisine...and I'm from NY. Italian antipasto appetizers and desserts were actually the best part, including seafood items selected by our server. Clams with Linguini was delightfully prepared and among the less expensive entrees at $22. See pics Gin martini was properly prepared. Only disappointment was Caesar Salad...over-dressed and not authentic. Would return. If you think this review with photos is useful, funny or cool, I'd appreciate your feedback below.

The food was very good and other customers were amusing (grumpy old gentleman who could not be pleased and another gentleman who sounded like Homer Simpson' s father). Started with a Gray Goose dirty martini with gorgonzola stuffed olives. Could have been a little dirtier but was still very good. The salad and pastas were good but they seemed rather stingy with the bread and butter. There were also no bread plates. The service was friendly but very slow. It looked like they had not anticipated a busy night two days before Christmas. I would go back again on a special occasion. A bit pricey to go on a regular basis.

It's a shame but I wouldn't even try it. I appreciated the attempt of the server to save my meal but it was just too late. The older woman that runs this place is simply rude. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated terribly. The food was good but when I spend 3+... I expect more. I was told this place was the real deal when Enzo was still around. Unfortunately that is no longer the case.

I just returned from a delightful evening at Enzo's. The antipasto was ok but the pastas, fresh and served al dente, were excellent. More importantly, the owner and the staff are warm and extremely friendly and the service was extraordinary. Add to that the homey ambiance of a lakeside cottage and you may think your dining at a friend's weekend home in Italy. I live in New York and have traveled to Italy and average of 2 times a year for business and pleasure for the past 25 years and I believe that Enzo's is really worth a visit.

I have lived in Casselberry, Florida my entire life and for some unknown reason I had never been to Enzo's...big mistake. This place was delicious! Booking online was super easy, valet was very friendly, the hostess who I believe was the owner greeted us with a smile, our server was on point; knowledgable, friendly and fast (sorry I don't remember his name but he's bald with glasses)! Our food was some of the best local Italian we have had in this area. I had the fettuccini with lobster & shrimp (YUM), my mother had the ravioli (she loved it) & my husband had their special; angel hair pasta, red sauce and a variety of seafood (he finished the plate)! It was my mothers birthday and they brought out a slice of cake for her which was so nice and of course delicious! Oh and last but not least, the wine list! It was the best glass of cab I have ever had. I was hesitant about it because it was $14.50 a glass but it was worth every penny and tasted good until the last drop! I read a lot of reviews prior to going and a lot of people mentioned the price. My only comment on that is, you know the price before you go so if it seems too high for you then don't go! But it's one of those situations, you get what you pay for! We receiver complimentary valet parking, excellent service, delicious food and just an overall great experience!! I hope you enjoy Enzo's as much as me and my family did.

We held our small wedding reception here and it was so nice. They were easy to work with online and over the phone since we were organizing this remotely. The private dining room was just the right size and very private. The portions were just right and their Italian wedding cake was the best. The service was very fast.

Do not turn away because of the parking lot! The food here is excellent. So is the service. It's a bit pricey for Italian, but we had a great anniversary dinner here. Notables are the short ribs and fish dishes.

It has been quite some time since I went to Enzo's and in all that time I think it actually got BETTER! This is a true jewel. The atmosphere is great, very "homey" and the service was impeccable & the food.....Well all I can say is FABULOUS!!! I had a pasta dish with bacon, onions & mushrooms, that was so good, that I wanted seconds. Alas, my cardiologist companion said that it might not be in my best interest. (party pooper :( ) The fish was boned table side and absolutely artful, not to mention that delicious. Desert in an Italian restaurant.....really? Lets just say between the wine (yes I actually had a glass of wine) the pasta and the desert, I spent quite a lot of time in the gym the next day. As a whole the meal was spectacular! It is truly a special place and I highly recommend it. As always, please don't drink and drive!

Enzo's was a pleasant surprise. (It's not really located in an, um, charming area of Longwood.) We walked in without a reservation, but upon greeting us in Italian they seated us happily and immediately. We weren't seated next to their windows, but the view of the lake was beautiful. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. It seemed to us that most patrons may be regulars. But even so, that didn't matter where we were concerned--they made us feel like regulars. The food was fabulous! We started off with their antipasti. It was very good and you can tell the staff what you prefer more/less of on the plate. For entrees, we had the short ribs in tomato sauce and the shrimp in cream sauce. Both were delicious! We ended our meals with their traditional zuccotto--not a decadent dessert, but good. The waiter also brought us some very tasty almond and ginger cookies. After dinner, we were offered to have drinks in their lovely garden next to the lake. We will definitely go back! Note(1): another yelp review commented on the noise. It's true the noise level was a bit loud, but we didn't seem to care. The atmosphere and the food made up for it. Besides, it was a Friday night. What do you expect?! :-) Note(2): another yelp review commented on the dress. We found that it was all over the place. Some patrons were dressed up while others were very casual.

Sadly, the service was terrible, with a server that didn't tell us the specials, we had to ask her for details about them, she pulled out her notes and tried to describe them. Took way too long between drinks and ordering food, and just generally didn't seem to be genuinely interested in serving us. The food was absolutely unbelievable. Lamb dish from the menu was the star, delicious lamb with fresh sides. We ordered one of the specials, angel hair pasta with seafood in a tomato broth, the broth was light and flavorful and the seafood was very very fresh. The kicker came when the valet asked me to pull up my vehicle because it was a stick shift and he couldn't drive it?! However, I feel like this is a great establishment, and our service experience was not the norm but an exception. The food was expensive, but worth every penny, fresh and delicious!

I enjoyed the atmosphere (not really a place for small children) and views of the lake. The food was very tasty and our server was very attentive, but not overly attentive. When I need a quiet date-night with my hubby, this is where I'll go every time!

very good experience. high quality product. the bread that came on the table was magnificent, the carpaccio was very thinly shaved, and very very good. the pasta dishes were all very excellent. the only small mistake was the clams in the vongole had not been soaked enough in water so there was still some grit and sand in them. highly recommend this authentic italian restaurant. long drive for us from dr phillips, but definitely worth it.

Enzo's has a pleasant atmosphere, but it's too crowded and loud to be romantic. In the back there is a very pretty garden with a dock on a lake. I'm not sure why they aren't utilizing this area at all, I'd love to sit out there with a drink and watch the sunset. I went for dinner, my appetizer was butterflied shrimp, it had a vague drizzle of tangy roasted pepper sauce on the plate. The sauce was good but not given in a generous enough amount for me to sop it up with the slices of bread that came with the appetizer. I also tried some items that were selected by the waiter from the antipasto bar. The best one was the cannellini beans in a tangy olive oil. Another good one was the homemade veal sausages. I ordered the seafood pasta special but was a bit annoyed that I had a hard time freeing the meat out of the crab shells without the usual seafood utensils. Also irritating was that the shrimp were not properly deveined. The sauce on the pasta was decent but not strong enough for me so I had to ask for Parmesan and crushed red pepper to enhance it. I also tried the lemon risotto and shrimp dish which was excellent, I loved the lemony cream sauce that came with this and the risotto was so tasty. As far as dress I'd say business casual to formal would fit in fine. No shorts or flip flops. Also valet parking is mandatory, which I don't care for myself, but there is no charge. I'd say this is a great place to splurge on dinner once in a while. Dishes averaged about $25 dollars but they had a few items that were about $50 such as the dover sole and a grilled veal dish.

Enzo's on the Lake is a great restaurant! The service is very good and the food is great. The location isn't stellar but it is romantic and fun for special occasions. Awesome little bar to hang out in while you wait. Valet parking, good service, excellent food, and a bunch of five star yelp reviews make this restaurant worth checking out. Antipasti, soups, salads, pasta, and main dishes. Everything is good. You can't go wrong on the menu. Every time we've been there we talk about how the food is stuff you just can't make at home. The wine list is phenomenal. You can blow some coin on alcohol at a place like this. It's worth the trip to Longwood/Casselberry. Most locals have been here before but if you haven't, please do! We confidently recommend Enzo's on the Lake!

This place has been around FOREVER. I can't get enough of the ambiance (it's in an old house) or the grounds. The bucatini is delish, my husband orders the steak. Sides are all executed well. I don't consider this fine dining per se, however it's not the Olive Garden..dress accordingly.

This place is an experience. Everything is authentic from the servers to the food. One of my favorites spots for Italian food in Central FL. Everything is always wonderful and made with care. The chef clearly takes pride in his food and it shows. You can't go wrong with Enzo's - a great romantic place! Love it - and the atmosphere is amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Most romantic restaurant that is in Orlando. The food is phenomenal. On some entrees portions can be small if you are comparing it to your more typical over-sized portions of today. That being said, if you are really hungry, an appetizer, soup/salad combo to start is smart. Venue is in an old home with beautiful landscaping on a lake facing the sunset.

Don't judge this restaurant by the condition of its parking lot because once you walk through the doors, you feel like you're in Italy and you will eat like you're in Italy too! This place was AWESOME! GREAT food and not your typical Italian dishes but plenty to chose from and LOTS of specials. Oh, and I love being greeted with "buona sera". The wine-by-the-glass list was small but that's ok because they had one of my favorite whites. The bruschetta was delicious and if the antipasto tasted as good as it looked (I had food envy watching the table next to me order it), I could have made a meal of that too. The Bucatini Alla Enzo is something I have never ordered before and it was amazing! The pasta was al dente which I love and the flavors were incredible! And just the right sized portion. The service was awesome. We weren't rushed at all but everything came at just the right time. I was with a work colleague but this is definitely a nice place to take a date. The gardens in the back were beautiful though I'm not sure you can eat outside but you should at least take a walk out there before or after your meal. Awesome restaurant. Somewhat pricey but absolutely well worth it!

For a surreal dining experience evoking moments of bliss.... I have driven by Enzos for years and had heard great things about it. You can see Enzo's(the privacy wall anyways) on your left as you travel up 17-92 (just past Dog Track Road) in Longwood. Well a few months ago my girlfriend Amanda and I went for dinner. From the moment we walked through the door we were engulfed in a warm, slight casual, romantic, family-like atmosphere. We stopped shortly at the cozy little bar in the front nook of the restauraunt for a pre-dinner drink. The bartender was so friendly, respectful and inviting. Walking to our table, the decor seemed direct from "old Italy" including a huge wheel of parmigian (over 100 lbs) near the front door. From our greeter to our exceptional server and service it felt like a vacation for a night. The only thing missing was a foot massage.haha. Our server(I think his name was Brandon) was like an old friend tending to our every need at just the right moment. We ordered a bottle of Penfolds and then some Carpaccio, Antipasti, Shitaki and even a Caeser Salad for starters and were utterly amazed by every exquisite bite. There couldn't have been a better way to prepare us for our entrees which included Fettucine Al' Aragosta E Gamberi(mine) with fettucine al dente in a light, silky, mouthwatering sauce with most generous portions of plump shrimp and lobster. Each bite was pure bliss. Amanda ordered the Abbacchio Del Duca which is a lamb-rack cooked to absolute perfection filled with shitake mushrooms and other delicious fresh herbs. Every succulent bite was extraordinary and the presentation was remarkable to say the least. Words truly cannot express how amazing our dining experience was. Our tab came to around $300.00 with tip but a couple could easily dine for around $125-150(w/tip). Yes, it is no cheap fare but once you are swept away in the experience(which is immediate) that is Enzo's on The Lake your cares and the world surrounding you simply melt away much like every luscious morsel melts in your mouth.

Straight off the bat, I'm not going to lie. Enzo's is definitely one of our family "occasion" restaurants. As in the "Where should we go for your birthday?" type of place. Ironically my father, mother and I celebrated my 16th birthday there. So when my brother suggested Enzo's for his birthday dinner this year, it was fine by me. And I literally was in anticipation all week for the dinner. The usual Kate's Kitchen family dinner at Enzos always starts out the same. We split an entree of the Bucatini alla Enzo as an app. Words can hardly describe how I feel about the Bucatini. Perfectly seasoned with hints of black pepper and the rich balance between the saltiness of the prosciutto and sweetness of the peas make this probably my favorite pasta dish. Tonight was extra special: we got a prime table by the windows over looking the lake. As we were eating our Bucatini, we watched the lovely sunset. And I'll say this right now, quickly. If, by chance I do ever get married, I would love to have it at Enzo's. There, I said it. Don't tell anyone. Anyway, I also ordered my favorite entree: the Sogliola al Limone (Dover Sole). The first time I had Dover Sole was in Paris, and I thought that I'd never find a dish in the US that could compare. But this was does. It was literally melt-in-you-mouth goodness. The fresh and perfectly cooked fish is topped with a very light butter sauce. De-boning is a tableside service that adds to the elegance of the dish. We finished off the meal with a slice of the Italian Wedding cake. Moist with a not too sweet whipped icing, it had chunks of fresh strawberry and kiwi between each layer. The wine list is also outstanding with a great variety of all the heavy hitting Italian favorites. My stepmom I enjoyed a rich Vermentino with the Sole that was a nice pairing with the butter sauce. My father and brother had voluminous Brunello that was perfect with their Filets. If you get a chance, I'd highly recommend Enzo's. The location is a bit odd, up in Longwood on 17-92. But it is worth the trip. Especially at sunset.

One of the most picky, exacting, well-traveled men I have ever had the pleasure to know took me here as a sort of going-away present. My 76 yr old former boss has been a regular of Enzo's for a couple of decades now and when I got another job he took my department here for dinner. We showed up early, they started making his drink as soon as we walked into the door (Kahlua and cream) and we waited for them to set up dinner while we enjoyed drinks. The bartender was from Ireland I believe, incredibly suave and beyond competent. When dinner was ready our group sat just inside the windows facing a sunset and that's when the parade of food began. A HUGE, aged cheese wheel was shaved and pieces were brought to us with cold meats and breads and dipping oils. Wine was flowing. Salads were shared. Entree's were *to die for*. The service was impeccable and the quality of food beyond description. Desert was forced down and cappuccinos kept us up. In the end it was one of the most special experiences I've ever had. I doubt I can recreate it, but maybe you can. So go.

Enzo's is the best Italian restaurant in the Orlando area & has been for year . It's noisy & vivacious - if your going to propose to your lady expect the room to cheer you ! Have the carbonara - even just as an appetizer - it's not creamy , simply bacon, onions, egg yoke & fresh pasta - fabulous - they bring the pan to the table. After dinner - take a stroll in the garden. This is an excellent place for New Years ,btw. Read the other reviews - all 5 stars except one regarding the noise...if that bothers you ( and it's not bad , it's just not that quiet romantic thing) go on a Tuesday ! But go. Open for Friday lunch - haven't gone yet

A gem, in chain city. ***** Orlando is lucky to have this excellent independently owned "mom and pop" restaurant. This city for year classifies the local Olive Garden "Fine Dining Italian" because like everything else in orlando is corporate owned. Enzos is a elegant and romantic restaurant that brings italian authenticity. From the wine to dessert, everything is top notch and delicious. I highly recommend the carbonara at enzos. The service is spectacular and friendly. If you live or visit orlando, and are searching for non-frozen food restaurants that actually cook, Enzos is a spectacular choice.

This is the best Italian restaurant in central Florida. I've gone to Enzo's countless times and it never disappoints. It is set in an old house, decorated with family paintings. They do not try to hide the fact that this was once a residence, because they want you to feel like you're a guest at someone's home. My recommendation would be to get the penne ala vodka and/or whatever the fish of the day is. I would highly recommend going for lunch, which is only served on Fridays. This is the perfect place for a date or a business meeting as well.

I've been returning to Enzo's time after time for over 25 years. Quite simply, it is a great restaurant. It is the real deal and that means a lot to me. Yes it is pricey but that's OK. It's worth it. Enzo used to emphasize that it is a Roman restaurant and I'll go with that. I've been to several restaurants in Rome and they share the same traits with Enzo's: fresh ingredients, professional service and busy-but-fun atmosphere. I have celebrated numerous special occasions at Enzo's and will probably continue to do so. We miss you Enzo.

I have been going to Enzo's for years! I have been all over the world, and I still cannot stop going to this little place.. The antipasti bar is right there on the wall behind you when you first walk in the dining room. Big wheel of Parmigiana, fresh roasted eggplant, assorted olives, freshly sliced and rolled prosciutto. The wine list is very nice, very well-rounded selection. Bugatini alla Enzo definately a must dish to try! I will never stop returning!!

With all these five star reviews I was really excited about this place. I got concerned when we parked our car. Present in the parking lot was a Ferrari, various Mercedes, Beemers, land rovers, etc. Cars that you buy to be seen. Is this a restaurant you go to to be seen at? Perhaps. Interestingly enough, even though some reviews mention mandatory valet parking, we did not see a valet and so we parked ourselves. Our party of four walked in and were greeted with... confusion. We walked in the door and nobody was there to greet us. A few waiters squeezed past us. Finally (read: 3-4 awkward, confusing minutes later) somebody came up and greeted us. We mentioned that we had reservation for four, and she said she needed to prepare our table. Cue 5 more minutes of waiting. Finally we were seated, after walking past a giant wheel of parmigiano reggiano and many empty tables that were set for 4 diners. We were seated near a window that probably has a nice view during the day, so let's just say that they wanted to prepare a better location for us? That's all I can guess. Clientele were fairly old. I'd guess the average diner was 45 years old. It was fairly quiet and well lit (not a super romantic atmosphere, I'm afraid, but still quite comfortable). Service was gracious but slow. Food arrived fairly quickly after orders were placed, however. Bruschetta was good. Various soups (so I'm told) were awesome, as was a salad (though what was served differed somewhat from the menu, much to a friend's annoyance). I got the penne vodka and it was pretty good. Not holy-crap-I-need-a-change-of-pants good, but fine if a little boring. My girlfriend's chicken dish was tough and overcooked. In the restaurant's defense, they apologized (and actually seemed sincere, which is different from most restaurants), offered to cook her a new one, and brought out an extra dessert as an apology. But it shouldn't happen in the first place and it puts the diners in a very awkward position (since, as we all know, complaining about a dish increases the chance of ingesting waiting staff spit by 676%). Our friend's dinners were both good but again nobody was blown away (the soups were a much bigger hit). Desserts were, well, I don't even remember. And I was the designated driver. They brought out some sweet almond flavored cookies that were nice. I barely remember the others, only that they were all OK but not amazing. All in all, a pretty decent dining experience, but it was made just sort of... awkward... by some slip ups by the restaurant... I mean, who has heard of a $20/plate restaurant that doesn't have a host/hostess? Food could have been better, but was definitely good. I think this restaurant could be great with some minor improvements, but for now it's just good.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I had trouble finding anything special about Enzo's in Longwood. It seemed like basic Italian style food that I could get at Olive Garden with prices substantially higher. Carpaccio di Manzo $11.95: that was our starter. I've never had it before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is extremely thin sliced beef. It is cooked very rare. I didn't really like it. I think the bruschetta would have been a better choice. Ravioli $22.95: My girlfriend ordered the ravioli. It was stuffed with chicken, spinach, and cheese. Those were decent and well portioned. Filetto Formaggio $34: I was extremely disappointed in this entrée. The menu didn't say but I think it was a 5-6 oz steak with toppings. I didn't feel like the toppings added to the steak. In addition, they garnished it with a minuscule amount of potatoes. I have no problem paying $30+ for a steak, but this was not worth it. What really irked me was the subpar service. Our waitress really wasn't attentive. She seemed to be scatter brained. Maybe it was a bad night for her, I can't know. I know I had wanted to try this place for a while and now I know I won't be returning. A bright spot in all this was the scenery. If you do go, I suggest taking a stroll out back by the lake (very pretty), if the prices weren't so high, Id say you could dump your food in it.

(4)Martin W.

Nice restaurant, friendly service, good wine list, good food. Cosy and fun but a bit pricey compared to other places in the area. If that's not an issue give it a go

(5)Joe D.
Do not turn away because of the parking lot! The food here is excellent. So is the service. It's a bit pricey for Italian, but we had a great anniversary dinner here. Notables are the short ribs and fish dishes.
(5)Carlos H.
This place is a rip off. Bad food, bad service and huge bill. Don't say I didn't tell you. Stay away !!

This place never fails. Tremendous service accompanied with amazing food. Never disappointed when I eat here.

Have not been to this Orlando jewel in 15 years. Wow, what have we been missing. Decor still as charming as I remembered, service excellent and the food was scrumptious! We will be back.
(5)Adan M.
It is a good Italian restaurant, but not worth it another visit. Service was good, but the food was average.

Always our choice for special occasions. Great service level in a beautiful setting. A fabulous experience very time we go to Enzo's.
(5)Veronica T.
Such a great little place. Food was Perfecto, the staff was excellent, We will go back. We went for his birthday and they made him feel like a KING.
(5)Robert F.
(4)Kelly G.
I would eat here every week if I could.
(5)Yamina M.
Yummy food. It wasn't out of this world incredible, but definitely well prepared and tasty. I would go again. The menu is not overwhelming and all the choices look like great potentials. Great service. Cozy, homey atmosphere.
(4)A H.
I enjoyed the atmosphere (not really a place for small children) and views of the lake. The food was very tasty and our server was very attentive, but not overly attentive. When I need a quiet date-night with my hubby, this is where I'll go every time!
(4)lars h.
very good experience. high quality product. the bread that came on the table was magnificent, the carpaccio was very thinly shaved, and very very good. the pasta dishes were all very excellent. the only small mistake was the clams in the vongole had not been soaked enough in water so there was still some grit and sand in them. highly recommend this authentic italian restaurant. long drive for us from dr phillips, but definitely worth it.
(5)Chris R.

(5)Kimberly E.
This place has been around FOREVER. I can't get enough of the ambiance (it's in an old house) or the grounds. The bucatini is delish, my husband orders the steak. Sides are all executed well. I don't consider this fine dining per se, however it's not the Olive Garden..dress accordingly.
(4)TJ M.
(5)Cathi F.
This is the best special occasion restaurant around. Food and service are always exceptional.
(5)Tommy D.
First time back in a couple years. All I can say is how amazing this place still is. Best Italian around and still beautiful inside. Prices are great and portions are great size. Will be making this a regular spot again.
(5)Craig A.
(5)Michelle V.

So go.

I don't know where to start. To keep from writing too much, I'll just say, "this is a place you must visit". Service, food, and atmosphere are all top notch.
