Love this place! Especially for its location, considering there isn't much like it close by. Great staff/owner. No liquor, but beer and wine. Good live music, as well.

Clean...great decor...good beer selection...friendly staff...looking forward to their St. Patricks Day party! This place has the right makings for a 'home' pub! They said food is coming soon too!

I can't stop thinking about Connolly's. I live in Oviedo and there is NOTHING on my side of town like this pub. I'm so bummed. Connolly's is the kind of pub you want in your neighborhood; it's a place where you can hang out and feel comfortable. I guess I'll have to stop by on my way home to Oviedo (boo to Oviedo for welcoming an Ale House; you should be ashamed of yourself!).

My favorite pub to visit in Florida. I find the prices to be very fair for what you get. Very friendly owner and staff...I look forward to stopping by for a drink or 2. They also have some great live music on Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights. I highly recommend this place for someone who is looking for a nice friendly atmosphere. Oh...I think it's the best Guinness pour anywhere.

I've been here a few times lately and have had fun each time. Connolly's is a little bit different than the majority of the other bars (The Kerryman, Cheers, Flanagan's, etc.) in the immediate area. As Amy J. mentioned in her review, no liquor is sold here and smoking is not permitted inside, so the atmosphere here is more laid-back than at the aforementioned places. You shouldn't see anyone falling-over drunk here since, from what I can tell, the people who spend time here are more relaxed and just want to have fun in a decent environment. The service here is very good - each time I've been, the bartender has come out to the outdoor area to check on the people sitting outside and to quickly bring out fresh drinks. I haven't gone to Connolly's to sit inside yet, though it is very clean and presentable inside. I suppose that the only drawback, in my experiences, has been the prices. I think that, maybe a few trips back, I had two beers and paid for two of my friend's and the total came to $18 (give or take $.50-$1). I believe that the two I bought for him were bottles of either Miller or Coors Light, and I had tall Pilsner glasses of Sam Adams. If you're ordering draft beer, you may want to specify whether you want the Pilsner glass or just a pint glass. The bartender who served the two Pilsners to me didn't ask which size glass I wanted; the Pilsner may be the default for some of the draft beers here. I don't think that there's anything wrong with what happened - I just was caught off-guard by the price. I don't drink many tall/Pilsner-sized beers when I go out, so maybe the price of them at Connolly's is the norm and I just don't drink them enough elsewhere. Moving on ... haha ... Connolly's is very cool and I definitely am looking forward to stopping by again. I believe that I've been here only on Fri./Sat. nights, and on those nights there has been an "open mic" or at least live music (either a band or just one person with a guitar). I don't know what goes on here, entertainment-wise, during other weekdays, but maybe I'll stop in sometime to check. I'm not sure if this is the case every night, but on the nights that I've been here there also has been a food (perhaps hot dogs?) cart on the back patio. Since, as far as I can tell, Connolly's does not serve food, this may be an added bonus for those who might get hungry while hanging out here. Stop by if you can!

Amazing place! If you are looking for a great atmosphere, laid back place, with wonderful bar tenders and the best owner ever, come to Connollys!!!! They will never ignore you, always make sure your glass is filled and might even give you a big welcome hug! I love this place! Live music, Thursday through Saturday!

Love this place. Having a great, friendly neighborhood bar that knows your name by the second visit is hard to beat. Make that bar an authentic Irish bar, and it's unbeatable.

Gregory S...you must have been a turd and Lenny doesn't tolerate turds in his bar, which makes it great for the rest of us. Yes please, do go back to the ashtray sports bar that is Kerryman's and leave us to enjoy our local pub in peace. Connolly's is exactly what this neighborhood needed and we are so appreciative to have it! Smoke free, good pints, great staff that always treats you like a neighbor, great live music, and community minded (Lenny always hosts fundraisers and special nights for first responders, teachers, etc.) Do yourself a favor and stop by...you'll be glad you did! PS- they don't serve food but they do allow delivery. We've enjoyed plenty a pizza party there! =)

Nice atmosphere but what kind of Irish bar doesn't have a liquor license ? No Jameson !?!?

A nice neighborhood pub. Just a little too far from my neighborhood. This would be a perfect place to stop for a pint while riding the Sun-Rail. It's just a few steps from the Londwood Station.

During the holiday break my girlfriend and I stopped in Connolly's for a beer. Its just below our house and we have wanted to try it for some time now. Walking in the place looks very neat and tidy. Authentic Irish banners hang on the walls, Tv's are new, the bar is clean, the lighting is bright, the floor looks mopped and the wood on the walls compliment the bar. As we strike up a conversation with the owner (Lenny) we are educated on his experience, where he is from and what Connolly's has to offer. Lenny made us feel as though we were having a beer at a friends house. The others in the bar were also polite and chatty. A good vibe! I enjoyed the beer selection, although I do tend to like a variety. Maybe a few more beers are needed, but the ones on tap are good. Not your cheap regular washed out brews that others carry. Also, he doesn't serve liquor, just beer and wine. Obviously this place caters to a certain crowd and isn't worried about appealing to "everyone". I like that, personally. Lenny spoke of numerous events, certain public officials that visit and that he tries to keep a good crowd. Thats good because I can picture myself stopping in for a brew often. My only gripe is with the lack of a food menu. We expressed this to him and he told us why, so we hope he can possibly offer something in the future. However, the lack of food doesn't take anything away from Connolly's. Looking forward to my next visit!
