Okay this is my second review of Bayridge, a little over a year after my first: This is the closest sushi bar to my house in Longwood so I have eaten here at least 15 times (I am a confirmed sushi-a-holic). The sushi is great, rolls are varied and unique (Spicy Volcano roll is my favorite) and the fish is always fresh. They have recently remodeled and added outside seating. The decorations are beautiful and the lighting really gives the place a good atmosphere. The place never has that "fish market" smell you get from some sushi bars. There is also a customer loyalty program where they give you a card, you spend money there, card is punched/marked, and you get nice discounts later on which add value (not a bad marketing strategy, either). They also have great lunch specials. That's the good part. Now for the bad: As others have echoed here, the service is horrible, and consistently so. I really wish I had a good service experience to share (like Liz H., below) but in all honesty, the next time I go there and get even *decent* service will be the first. The staff seems downright reluctant to communicate with customers at all. I do not know if it is a language-barrier issue or something else, but I have been to other sushi restaurants and gotten superb service; I suspect it has more to do with poor management of the front of house staff than anything else. I say this with no exaggeration: Of the last ten visits I have made there, they have gotten my order wrong at least three times. That is absurd, especially since I AM WRITING MY ORDER DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER PROVIDED BY THE RESTAURANT. There is ZERO guesswork here, guys! I wrote it down on *your* form, you just have to bring me what's on the form. Yet this seems to elude them somehow. You have to get it right more than 70% of the time if you expect to stay in business. Furthermore, drinks are rarely refilled unless I ask; empty finished plates are rarely removed from the table unless I ask; the "hot towel" service others have mentioned only happens occasionally (and if they are busy, not at all); and even though I/we are *obviously* finished with our meals and ready to go, we always have to ask for the check, and I do mean every single time. And I can only "ask" if there is someone around to ask...servers often disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. I have seriously gotten better service at Waffle House and Denney's. Ironically enough, the last time I ate here they added a customer comment card to the check book. I filled it out and noted the poor service. I wonder if they ever bother to read these things? A family spending $70+ on food and drinks expects and deserves better than this, plain and simple. All in all, I sadly have to say that I do not recommend this place unless you are getting your order to go, and this is what I recommend you do if you are craving sushi and want to give Bayridge a try (though, as I alluded to earlier, you'd be wise to check your order before leaving with it, because there's a strong non-zero chance that they will get it wrong). The sushi is good, no doubt, but the consistently awful service leads to a sub par dining experience. I really hope they can get it together because the restaurant is beautiful and the food is good. I am a sushi addict, and I will get sushi from Bayridge again because it is good and because it is close, but if you are looking for a unique dining experience and don't get out much, you will probably want to look elsewhere. (I plan to write again after my next visit and I will certainly let it be known if their service improves)

I've always enjoyed Bayridge. Although served in most sushi places their Miso and salad are great. Love the $1 sushi too. I am thrilled with the new modern decor.

This tiny sushi restaurant will not do you wrong if you know what to order. The specialty rolls here are great. The Kiwi Roll is spicy shrimp with slices of kiwi on top, and the sweet/salty combination is excellent. A longtime favorite, The Bubba Roll, is tempura shrimp covered with shredded cheese and mysterious crispy things. The bento boxes are a great deal if you're starving and on a tight budget: meat, a random sushi roll, rice, miso soup, dumplings, and fruit for $12? Yes, please. Cheap, basic rolls are not that great here, but I can't recall the last time I had a basic salmon roll and had a climax over it. Suck it up, splurge a little and live a little. You'll be fine here.

Good food, but this location has issues with service! Terrible service. The Bayridge Sushi in Apopka is better. I've never had any issue there.

I've been to the Bayridge Sushi on 436 and Piedmont and I will say it isn't worth my time. I've eaten sushi from NY to Japan and it ranks very low on my list of quality places to eat. The rice was not sticky enough to hold the fish and the fish didn't seem very fresh. The only good items I ate were the miso soup and the salad. Several of the rolls I had fell apart. The staff was friendly and attentive. The environment was nice, but the music was loud. Prices were fair.

Never Again. We've been to the Bayridge in Apopka and here in Longwood multiple times because of the prices but my goodness, we get stomach upset every time. It is more than a fluke, something is up with the sushi or the spicy sauce maybe? Not sure but we won't be back again. No cheap meal is worth feeling this way.

Recently took a friend here, and we had a pretty good experience. Unfortunately we came in one hour before they closed on a Sunday (no less) but our waitress was pretty friendly and attentive. The place looked nice, wide screen television and everything. Nice decor, for a Japanese restaurant in "Longwood Florida". We ordered the Ponko Scallops as an appetizer. The breading had a bitter aftertaste but it was ok. The sauce to dip it in was like a tempura dip I guess, with green onions. And do you say "Panko" or "Ponko"? I had a craving for sashimi, and ordered the Sashimi Regular. I'm weary of sashimi at new sushi spots, but didn't care I guess. It was pretty good, no fishy taste or smell so checkidy-check. I dislike white tuna and the waitress made a note, and replaced it for more tako which I like more. Good service. My friend ordered the Nabe Yaki Udon and it was good. It comes with two tempura shrimp and they were not too greasy. The udon is nice and thick the way it should be, and it was a meal in itself. It had everything in a nice hot earthen bowl and really fills you up. I'd eat here again, but would like to try their special rolls next time.

Plesant surprise! The food was fresh, and served in a timely manner. The best part was the price, unbeatable for sushi and apps! Good food, just get there early enough to have a decent table!

Good sushi on the cheap, unassuming on the outside, authentic on the inside. Good, timely service as well. And the portions are surprisingly large.

Fantastic value and pretty fresh. Excellent variety of rolls and some new, exciting variations.

Great sushi. There is better around town, but it's definitely worthwhile.

The sushi here is pretty good, not great, not at all authentic but the cheapest around for decent sushi. THe longwood location is better than the apopka one. It's a decent place to go for lunch.

Was ok for the price, but was nothing to drive out of your way for. If you in the area not bad

Went there recently for the second time and were impressed, have a lot of amura like rolls at better price, my husband and i went and the check was $60, would have been much more at amura, We'll probably go here instead of amura from now on.

In my opinion, Bayridge offers the best sushi in town, and their prices can't be beat for the quality. Looking for a great bargain? Stop by Bayridge before 6pm and order off their dollar sushi menu. You can try some of their classic rolls for super cheap. If you're in the mood for something a little more adventurous, you must try the Super Volcano Roll smothered in baked scallops and shredded crab in a spicy sauce. The Super Dragon Roll is also fantastic, if you're into eel. While it's not the most fancy-pants restaurant in town, the quality rivals that of Kimono's down at Disney's Dolphin & Swan Hotel. Whenever we have visitors in town and they ask us for local restaurant recommendations, we always mention Bayridge. We've only ever had one negative experience, service-wise, at the Longwood location, but since then we've had no issues. We've also been to the Apopka location and had a great time with friends. I'd highly recommend Bayridge to anyone. By the way, don't forget to always bring your loyalty card and have them stamp it when you pay your bill. After you fill the card with stamps, you get $20 off your next order.

We've been to Bayridge Sushi twice, the first for lunch and the second for a light dinner. Our first experience was just okay. We ordered off the lunch specials and everything in the bento box seemed to be fried. Fried veggies, fried meat, fried everything. It could be that I'm just not used to the Florida style Japanese restaurants. The lunch came with a California roll that was probably the best thing in the box. Our second time here was for dinner. We didn't even look at the regular menu because we just wanted sushi. Their sushi menu was fairly large but it just had the name and no description and we ended up with some rolls that we didn't really want. Although it wasn't what we wanted, it was still good, not great. I don't think we're going to give Bayridge another try but it's not bad. Maybe their regular menu has something better to offer.

For those who know me, they know that I LOVE me some sushi and have tried most sushi restaurants in the Central Florida area. My most recent sushi discovery is Bayridge located in the Longwood area. It's been awhile since I've had sushi so I was very excited to try this place out. On the outside and also based upon the name I would never have guess that this was a sushi joint...it looked more like a generic American restaurant. On the inside, however, it screamed sushi and Japanese cuisine with classic Asian decor, black and white throughout with very simple paintings and pieces here and there. Surprisingly, it looked much smaller on the inside than on the outside. You have the option sit in one of those classic oriental-type rooms were the floor is your chair and the table is very low to the ground. Or you can sit in the dining room, which is crammed with as many chairs and tables that will fit. The way that it's situated, it's nearly impossible to fit a party bigger than four all together. I went with a group of 5 and we were uncomfortably squished into a corner. You can imagine how unimpressed I was, but they were able to redeem themselves with their food and service. A hostess greeted us in broken English when we entered the restaurant and despite being a busy Friday night we were seated immediately. The menu was quite large, with a long list of rolls to choose from. As is usual a brief description was below each roll's name with some pictures scattered throughout the menu. My boyfriend and I stuck to our usual rainbow roll and salmon sashimi plus a lover's and volcano rolls. The presentation of the rolls was very clean and pretty. The rolls were a decent size and had an abundance of filling. All of them tasted deliciously amazing. The seaweed salad I started my meal with was also done well. If you don't fancy sushi too much, there are tempura and Japanese stir-fry dishes as well. The bento box is a good choice. It's basically a combo meal that comes with whatever tempura you choose (veggie, chicken, shrimp or crab), a california roll, rice, dumplings of some kind, miso soup and seaweed salad. You get a lot for what you pay and you'll most likely have enough for another meal. The service was efficient. Our waitress did not speak very good English which proved to be challenging at times. The prices are very good for sushi, not cheap but not what I would consider expensive either. The atmosphere is good for going out with family or friends, but not the type of place that I would go on a romantic date. I also hear that their lunch specials are worth going as well. This place is a bit far from my neck of the woods, but worth the trip. Overall, not my favorite place, but the food was yummy and I would go back again.

Improving! I was impressed with the improvement of the quality of food. We ended up here when our first choice was closed for lunch on Sunday, not expecting to be wowed. We were wrong. Things have gotten so much better. We'll be going back more often!

Visiting from NYC and loved the sushi. I went on a Monday a 6pm and enjoyed the $1 Monday specials with a glass of Chardonnay, shrimp tempura roll, and 'Mexican' roll. Great evening.

It's been a couple years since we've been here. They have completely remodeled inside and out. Looks very nice. Restaurant is dark inside but we like it that way. Adds to the ambiance. We used to order the AYCE sushi dining in and the lunch specials with takeout. They still have the lunch specials which we ordered. Not sure if they offer AYCE anymore? We went on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very friendly and prompt. The ponko scallops were so good. Lightly fried to perfection served with the delicious ponzu sauce with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. We both ordered the 3 roll lunch special - so many to choose from! The spicy yellowtail roll was my favorite with the crunchy tempura flakes inside the roll. I think there were 7 different spicy rolls to choose from. Great prices, food and service. Remains one of our favorites in the area.

Best sushi in the Orlando area! Most delicious cooked sushi rolls and Crab Don appetizer. We've been loyal to this location and sushi place for the last 6 years because it has the best food, prices fur what you get in quantity and quality, and always top notch service!

Had a friend recommend this place, she comes here for lunch often and now I know why - they have amazing lunch specials! I opted to try the lunch special bento box with hibachi chicken. They give you salad and miso soup to start, the box come with meat, rice, whole California sushi roll, two big crab ragoons and some fruit! All for about $9. I couldn't even finish my box but it was great! They have an outdoor area which seems like it would be nice lite up at night.

It's so nice to have a good sushi restaurant close to home. I've been going to Bayridge for years and have always been pleased with whatever I ordered. If you aren't into sushi, the Bento boxes are great too, especially for lunch. Through the years the menu has evolved and so has the decor which keeps us locals coming back for more.

I love this place! This is my Monday night go to place! The $1 Sushi menu is great on my wallet and yummy for my tummy. The staff is always helpful and great at their job!! One time we had the all you can eat and ate until we couldn't eat another bite! They give you soooo much that you came possibly eat a second or third order! Lol

Every week I drive 20 minute, on my lunch break, on way to pick up Bayridge for the office. Bayridge Sushi is fresh and tasty. The 2 roll lunch special with Salad and Soup is the best.

We have been eating there for 15 years, almost every week. However, in the last few months they must be under new management, and it is not good news. The food has been getting more tasteless and the attitudes of staff much worse. One time I even got sick afterwards, but kept coming back because I wanted to be loyal. Enough of that... Last week I took my sister there for lunch, ordered 3 rolls for us to share, and we're told we had to order ore for a minimum of $10. each, so we ordered another sushi roll and had to throw it away because it was too much. Now tonight I place an order for "Tempura crab roll with spicy mayo"' and it was horrible. The crab was NOT tempura, there was no spicy mayo on it, and the cream cheese was so huge compared to the crab, that the cheese was all you tasted. When I called them on it, they argued with me for 5 minutes, and never offered to correct it. There are other sushi restaurants in the area. I suggest trying them instead... I know I will be. They didn't make me another roll, but they lost a loyal customer instead.

I'm a long time customer of Bayridge Sushi since they first opened the Longwood location in the early 2000s. They consistently great food and service and. The owner and his wife are very friendly. Pricing is decent as well. I recommend this place to everyone that asks. :)

I have only ordered take out but every time I do the sushi is exquisite :) I know that when I order here I can never go wrong. I like to try a restaurant a few time before ordering any eel from them, because I am so picky about it, but I will next time and will update my review accordingly :)

I've been coming to Bayridge since high school, which was far more years ago than I care to discuss. My friends and I were always been fans of their happy hour pricing and loved getting our sushi on for a little less moolah. I was back in town this fall and was craving some sushi when I remembered my old friend. I placed a to go order and did have to specifically ask them about the Happy Hour pricing, as I was initially provided only the regular menu. I made my selections and everything was done pretty quickly. Perhaps a bit too quickly it would turn out. I did a tuna roll, a crab cream cheese roll and a shrimp tempura roll. The tuna and crab were both good and as I expected. The shrimp tempura was okay, but while the menu indicated a mayo sauce, my order clearly had eel sauce. Oh well, still tasted pretty good. I also added two sashimi orders - my old standby Tamago and Squid. The tamago was good and just what I was craving. The squid...was clearly octopus. I do like octopus but I LOVE squid so I was pretty disappointed when I got home and opened my to go order. The quality and taste of everything was good, but my experience was a little dampened by the squid/octopus switcheroo. I am not sure Bayridge is the best sushi in Orlando, but it is a good option and close to my home away from home.

We really enjoy this place have done regular take out a half a dozen times and eaten in for lunch three times. All great experiences, as creatures of habit we usually order the Nabu Yaki Udon soup - it's is sooo good, the noodles are delicious and it is always fresh and piping hot! Large enough for 2 people easily. the sushi always tastes good, spicy tuna or salmon and spider rolls are what we usually order. The service inside is usually consistent, I did notice the last time we had a guy server and that we didn't see the ladies who work during the peak time (it was late lunch 3 pm when we arrived) the server was nice but he wasn't as on point as server we had in the past (ie: asking about refills, busing, checking in) still decent but just not as wow as we usually experience. Nice atmosphere, much darker inside, but I like it that way and a small bar you can sit at to watch them make sushi.

Sadly, the place has gotten progressively worse over the years. It has a wide variety of stuff and the food plates of regular Japanese are pretty good if parties in your group don't eat Sushi. My regular attendance has always been large in part due to the fact that they have one of the few AYCE sushi options in Central Florida. Progressively over the last ten years their pieces of Nigiri have shrunk to an almost invisible status while the size of the rice balls have gotten obscene. It has come to the point where they should ethically change their menu to All you can Eat rice with essence of fish for $21.95. This trend has gotten so absurd on consecutive visits that I doubt I will be back. Please have some candor and change your name to Bayridge Rice.

We just relocated to the area and was suggested to eat here. During their happy hour they have rolls $3-4.50 which was nice. They were all good. Not the highest quality of fish I've had but still a great buy.

Looks more like a nightclub than a restaurant. Not a family establishment. Children are not welcomed here. I waited over 30 minutes and we left since the waiter never came to take our order. The crowd that gathers there leaves a lot to be desired. Very stuck up for a side of the road sushi dive. I should of listened to my sisters whom are locals when they told me the food was mediocre at best and not worth the visit. Though I never got around to tasting the food, the terrible service is enough of a deterrant. Stay away from this place if you are looking for a relaxing meal. This is more of a gathering place for bitter middle-aged folk missing the club life. Super bad experience!

Worst Service Ever! My server greeted me with a look, no conversation and stared at me like she expected me to say something first...Seriously??? Went for AYCE sushi and heard sushi chefs complaining about how much I had ordered all the way from the sushi bar to my table towards the back! How rude and embarrassing! My server never checked back with me upon receiving my sushi and I had to seek her out for drink refills, and a 2nd round of sushi... There is a lot of competition in restaurant industry. I REFUSE to go back! Next time I will stick with Fuji Sushi, were the food is fresh and service is excellent.

OKAY I'm not from around here, but really? I expected better. I'm from Las Vegas where All You Can Eat Sushi is the norm. In Orlando apparently not. After my search for an AYCE sushi spot I was suggested Bayridge Sushi because it was literally THE ONLY AYCE SUSHI. I'm the type of person that gives places a chance. But OMG stay away STAY AWAY. Quality: 0/5 If you know what quality sushi is DON'T COME HERE. The fish is NOT FRESH and honestly they need new sushi chefs, in my opinion no one here knows how to cut a slice of nigiri sushi. I had chunks in all sorts of sizes I can't even do a rice to fish ratio because this place literally had horrible sushi chefs. Price: 2/5 Cheap, 20.99 for AYCE I guess you get what you paid for. BTW You have to ask for the AYCE menu. They don't offer it to you even though they promote AYCE sushi all over the out side windows. In Las Vegas AYCE dinner sushi's about 24.99 with a FULL MENU. Here in Orlando I was surprised it was a LIMITED MENU. Limited meaning, you only get your basic rolls like Alaskan roll, Spicy tuna roll etc and your Nigiri. Thank god that nigiri was on the LIMITED MENU because that's all I usually order anyways when I do go get AYCE sushi. Honestly for $20.99 AYCE sushi even though its cheap ITS NOT WORTH IT. Service: 1/5 Service was horrible, maybe because I come from a city that thrives on customer service I expect better but honestly I wasn't expecting fine dining service just decent service at least! They never offered us any drinks we had to ask for waters and forget about them refilling our waters. I felt like because we were AYCE diners they tried their best to ignore us so we'd order less. Also they messed up on our dessert orders, they even tried to argue with us saying that's what we ordered. What waiter argues with customers?!?! Definitely NOT COMING BACK, wouldn't suggest this place. Suggestions: - Cheap AYCE, Low quality fish. If that's your thing GO HERE. - Don't come here thirsty they never refill your drinks - Don't order dessert, if you do expect the waiter to argue with you because THEY got your order wrong.

I just love their food, service is bad and sloooww at times and if you are in the hurry, look else where or order carry out. They have wonderful lunch specials and combinations. Great sushi and sashimi platter for a little over of $13 that comes with 12 pcs sashimi,5 pcs sushi and Cal roll. They also have a good lunch bento box options. I as well, love their tuna Kobachi app.

Came back a few more times since my last review and my only complain was remedied (the size of the rice balls for nigiri) and I enjoyed it much more this time around. Even though the selection is still limited compared to my ultimate fav, I will still come back to Bayridge if I am on this side of town. My wife enjoyed their stir fried udon noodles and was curious about other selections in the giant selection of the menu. We will come back again! Good job Bayridge!

Fantastic remod, great food/svc, serious lunch value UP TO 3:30 even on Sat., and now, a loyalty prog.? What's to NOT like! (THERE: who says I can't write short reviews - I coulda TWEETED that. In fact, I think I WILL! They're at @Bayridge_Sushi)

I used to love Bayridge in Longwood. I used to tell everyone to come with me and we'll have an awesome, all-you-can-eat sushi experience. We used to go and get full and be happy. Not anymore. For some reason, the service here has become utter garbage. Honestly, I think they are purposefully ignoring my party because we're a bunch of guys that love to eat lots and lots of sushi. I love sashimi (fish alone). They don't have it on the AYCE menu. They have nigiri (fish with a ball of rice). My party tends to order quite a few. They must not like it because its clearly much easier and faster to make a fish with a ball of rice than a roll of sushi. They consistently come out with less than we ordered and are super slow about it. Then when it comes time to re-order, we have to flag down anyone that comes near our table (barely anyone does), just to get a drink refill, confirm that more of the first order is coming and put in a second order if they "forgot" again. What a load of BS. I can't get full and satisfied confidently anymore. They'll charge extra if you leave pieces, yet you never know if you'll actually be getting any more pieces coming. Maybe their food is different for non-AYCE people. I know their service sure as hell is. I'll never recommend Bayridge (in Longwood) again.

The food is great. Love the appetizers and sushi selection. They could use a few more modern sushi options and vegetarian options but they are willing to make substitutions. I always get their bento boxes - they are really filling and a great value for the price : ) vegetables, rice, sushi roll, and dessert that tastes kind of like krab Rangoon all in one box - plus some cute pieces of fruit for garnish/sweetness. The ambiance is really nice and really pretty inside and out. The lighting is dim but I like it that way for romance or relaxation. I've brought several friends and family and they all have enjoyed themselves as well.

A favorite lunch spot of mine! Bayridge Sushi is conveniently located in Longwood on 434 which is very close to my office. Convenience combined with delicious and fresh fish is why I find myself at Bayridge weekly. Bayridge has a huge selection of sushi rolls to choose from so if you suffer from A.D.D. please be sure to medicate before entering this restaurant. I highly recommend the sashimi lunch, lots of fish and only around 9 bucks. Their Gyoza appetizer is also yummy! Check out Bayridge for a quick and delicious lunch!

It used to be best Sushi restaurant. They change the chef and now it sucks. The sashimi was mediocre, the quality was terrible and the pieces of sashimi tasted like they just put fish in the plate. I ordered some type tuna roll special with three tuna roll- they should called it crunchy rolls . The three rolls tasted the same overwhelmed by the taste of too much crunch.

The sushi here in on point. The only reason I give a low star rated is because the service isn't the best. I tend to over analyze servers and usually give them extra time to do things since I've worked in the industry. However, when I was there last it wasn't crazy busy but I only saw my server once (twice if you include when they dropped off the check). I'll go back for food but maybe I'll do take out instead.

Good place for sushi .. If your idea of sushi is crappy service.. mediocre sushi at best .. and the worse front of the house staff I have seen in a while. We went in for the sushi happy hour from 3-6. 2 other tables had customers and the third was filled with their wait staff,, chattering away as if they were at dinner as well. Eventually.. one from the table (i guess the one who drew the lowest straw) decided to take our order. After the drinks were brought, someone at my table didn't like the tea and asked for it to be changed out for a water. After drinking mine a bit... . I noticed a odd taste. I flagged the waiter down and asked for a soda.. At no time did he bother to see what was wrong what the tea and even tasked bringing my replacement to another wait staff... This was the last I would get to talk to my server.. as the conversation at the wait staff break table must of been getting interesting.. So once our food was brought by a runner.. we ate a fair portion of sample sushi from the menu. It was slapped together and very bland . The so called "spicy tuna" was no more spicy than the mayo they used to make it. Tuna Tataki had 7 wafer thin slices.. a bit expensive for almost 10$ Generally, I like to see a wait staff.. not only come by after the food was delivered and ask how is everything.. but at least.. ask if any of the 4 empty glasses could possibly use a refill... These simple tasks were all but a far fetched dream as the laughter was getting louder and louder at the wait staff break table As I would stack the empty plates ... slurp loudly at my empty glass.. and turn around in my seat as if to be looking for an emergency exit... Nothing I could do would spark the interest of the table full of staff. Eventually.. after staring at the stack of plates and empty glasses with no check in sight .. I realized we were S.O.L. on any other service at this point. I wandered to the front to the register and greeted by what must of been the manager..He reached out to ask for my my check.. I gave him a very confused look and said. "Don't you have it?" He did not expect this and looked as confused as I did He then asked who my waiter was.. Again.. he is trying to confuse me.. so I replied " I am really not sure.. I haven't seen him since before my food was dropped off" I then explained that we never even got a refill of any of our drinks..' Then I said.. " I think it is one of those guys at the table.. but again.. it has been a while.. so I could be wrong" The manager yelled something in Japanese.. then.. and only then.. does the table disperse. The waiter then jumped up to now see if we need a refill...as we are walking out the door.. Any way.. we didn't bother with the "refills" as we were not going to wait and then stand at a register to finish off our drinks. Wish I knew what he said.. I would of said it a long time ago. Manager didn't offer to do anything .. no "to go drinks" . not even.. " Hey.. we charged you 9 bucks on drinks and never refilled them.. let me take off 2 drinks" I really don't feel like squabbling.. I would much rather bid a good day.. and then.. pass along my story Good luck if you still want to go here..

Ngiri is not bad for ayce rolls are a bit meh... Service is HORRENDOUS... I hope you set aside a good 2 hours to eat here, or at least sit at the bar so you can flag the sushi chef down constantly. Both times we came we would put in our order and sit there twiddling our thumbs wondering if they had forgotten about our food. Only close ayce sushi I know of (and doesn't hurt that it's realllly close to where we live) They would definitely get 4 stars if they would have better service.

This place is wonderful. We've been here a few times and have made this a regular sushi place for us. The jade and spider roll are delicious! We haven't had anything we haven't liked. The atmosphere is beautiful. Twice our waiter has been Alan who is a really awesome. The only downfall is the location outside. It's not in the nicest area but we're willing to look past that since the sushi is so good.

So, I heard great things about this place. Perhaps I was spoiled by having sushi in Seattle. I don't know. But, I was completely underwhelmed. Yes, the sushi was moderately fresh. I actually got sashimi. The rolls were completely uninspired. Frankly, it's not a place I would go out of my way for. However, if you're trapped and have to eat somewhere between 434 and 436 on the east-side of I-4, Bayridge is likely your best sushi option. There's also a Hungry Howies in the same shopping plaza. Go there instead. I will not intentionally go back. Ever. The service was terrible. Maybe it was an off night. I don't know. The most important thing to realize is there are many sushi options throughout Central Florida. This should not be one you consider.

Great sushi for the price. They also have a good happy hour where basic rolls cost a $1.

Most importantly, very good sushi sushi, but is has a few downsides: *The biggest issue, and why my wife and I no longer go anymore, is the noise. No, it's not just loud ambiance, that wouldn't be so bad - it's all the children! For some reason, families bring their screaming children who bang on the table, scream, cry and just make a ton of noise. Their parents rarely take them outside (like they should), and the management makes no effort to quell the disturbance. I honestly cannot remember the last time we were there and didn't have to deal with screaming children. So, while the food is very good, especially for the area, we go elsewhere these days to enjoy a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere.

Great food. Chicken Katso Bento and Spicy Conch Sushi roll w Seaweed Salad all were Yummy. Service was slightly overwhelmed but still took care of our party pretty well. Lunch specials are exceptional.

Went here for a quick work lunch this week. The service was so meh, the sushi seemed unimportant. I'm not looking for anything superfast and super attentive, but I would like superfriendly and, you know, interested in the people who are eating at their restaurant. The sushi was good and the prices were great, however, I'll explore the other sushi places in the area before I come back to this one.

Amazing sushi! One of my few fav sushi spots! The green tea ice cream is a must! The place is always super clean and the sushi is spot on!

I have now eaten their twice. The first time was ok, the rolls were good although not particularly fresh. I can't remember which ones I chose. Last week I ate there again with a large party of 30. They had us pre-order our food which seemed efficient. However I ordered the Spicy Combo dinner and can I just say BARF. It was the most disgusting thing I ever ate. The fish inside of the roll was puree. I can only imagine that is what cat food tastes like. When the first roll went down, I at first didn't know why the roll was so heavy and like a lump in my throat. Then I looked at it. Needless to say I didn't even take the remaining ones home for my cats. It will be a very long time before I forget this experience and return. On the up side, the service was great for a large party. And the place it self is very nice. Others had good meals, and my Edamame and Shrimp Dumplings were fine.

The sushi was fine, I had a couple of tuna rolls and some nigiri sushi and I have to say they tasted fine. However, when I order some chicken kastu from the kitchen, the first time I got the plate, it was stone cold. Now, I was with a large party, but still it shouldn't have been difficult to manage the kitchen to ensure that hot food is done last whereas sushi is done first in order to keep the hot food hot. And when I asked for replacement it took almost to the end of the meal to get one and at that point I had already had my fill of some pity food from my friends that let me have some of their dishes. In the end, if you want sushi, you should be fine, but be wary of ordering anything hot when part of a large group.

The outside doesn't look like much (seems to be a sushi restaurant standard) but the inside is very cool and welcoming. I've only been here once so far, but I got to try an array of dishes. The sweet potato rolls were very good, but the grilled red snapper was the real standout. It is absolutely a must-try.

Im sorry Bayridge, but, there is something about your sushi that isn't right. We went here last Friday, as I was craving sushi and had never been. Walking up they were obviously busy as people were standing outside waiting, we walk through the small crowd to put our names in and notice two seats at the sushi bar. We ask if we can sit at those spots and the hostess was unsure. After looking puzzled the guy next to the seats said the people had left. First, they had to clean the area, so we waited. A few mins pass and we are looking at our seats and wondering if we can sit. We don't want to be rude and just sit down. We then notice the hostess isn't paying attention and is talking to a customer, but also looking around. Weird. She notices that we are waiting and then says "oh, you can sit". wow, great start. After we are seated we get our menu and start looking over the sushi. The menu looks great with a variety of combinations. Lots of salmon and yellow tail. We decide on our dishes, but wonder where our server is, it is after all, the sushi bar. Service should be a little quicker here. Maybe? He arrives with warm damp cloths for our hands and we hand him our selections as he takes our drink order. Watching the guys prepare the sushi is always a treat for me, I find it interesting. Our sushi is prepared in decent time, and handed over the glass to us. Sadly, since we ordered rolls that were similar, except for one, we didn't know what was what. No one explained it as im use to and since we were hungry, we just dove in. At first bite the rolls seemed ok, but I wouldn't say it was very fresh. It was definitely over a day or two old. Which kind of scares me with sushi. I don't know how its kept or exactly how old it is. We finished up, paid our bill and went home. Think thats all? Nope. For the rest of the evening my girlfriend and I didn't feel right. Our stomachs didn't agree with the food. I couldn't put my finger in it, and I wasn't sure which roll or rolls it could have been, but I've never felt like that after sushi. I had iced tea, so I know it wasn't alcohol or anything of that nature. Im glad I tried Bayridge, but I won't return. thanks.

Now with 3 locations around Orlando- they are by far the best in town. The best specialty rolls and the most bang for your buck. We love the Valentine roll, paradise, summer breeze, lovers, spicy yellow tail and all the others we've had!

It is a shame that my first Yelp review is on this place! My friends and I, a party of 11, drove over an hour to try this place out and we left with a stomach full of dissatisfaction. Among the 11 of us, all but one person ordered the all-you-can-eat sushi. Let's begin with this. The nigiri was okay. The freshness of the fish was less than average. But again, I give them that it WAS a sushi buffet. I can't be greedy, right? As far as the rolls on the all-you-can-eat menu.. You might want to skip on it. Instead, get your moneys worth and go all out on the nigiris. Next, the hibachi dinner. We ordered a filet mignon and shrimp with broccoli and onions only. One word: bland. The filet and shrimp was covered in what seemed to be teriyaki sauce but the veggies and noodles.. b-l-a-n-d! Last but not least.. The review on the service. I understand it was pretty busy for a Thursday night and it may have been hard to manage a party of 11. But, we didn't even get acknowledged until after about 15 minutes of just sitting there. The drinks took another 15 minutes. Also, not a single apology for the "rare" filet mignon when we ordered "medium-rare" (mind you, we made sure twice because the waiter kept repeating, "rare" when we clearly said "medium-rare"), no apology for mistakenly serving the wrong plates, and no refills on the drinks during the whole visit. Now, this is cutting him some slack as I have some experience in the serving business. Overall, this restaurant defines quantity over quality in many aspects. If you don't mind bad service from a waiter who seem mad at the world and think the quality of the food outweighs the quality of the service, get your $21.95 worth of all-you-can-eat nigiri. Otherwise, go some place else where they make you feel somewhat appreciated for your business.

Of all the sushi spots Lake Mary/Longwood has to offer, this is definitely my favorite. The fish is fresh tasting and it comes out pretty fast. The service has always been pretty good too. I would say to go during lunch if you can. They double the prices for the hibachi stuff at dinner, and they have amazing lunch specials that are GREAT! Also, they have a fantastic happy hour deal. Sushi Rolls are between $1-$3. It's definitely worth it. The best part? They allow you to take the happy hour stuff to go!!! Th decor is actually pretty pleasant. I'd say it's more modern than your average asian restaurant. A cozy date spot, indeed.

As a fairly frequent patron of Asian restaurants, I really don't expect stellar service as the norm, but this restaurant really takes the cake of slow, unapologetic service. Our server was an older gentleman that either had no clue on what to do or he just didn't care that he was giving horrible service. The restaurant was half full with seating filled on the right side. We were given menus when seated, but my companion wanted the ayce list. We tried to flag down our server, but he was too occupied with his other 2 tables. I saw another server and asked if he could bring us an ayce list, to which he happily obliged. After 20 minutes of waiting our server came back to take our orders. Then 20 minutes later my tofu appetizer came. I noticed that we didn't have utensils so I asked the table runner for chopsticks, she said sure, and then never came back. After we realized we weren't getting our chopsticks, we were on a mission to flag down our server. Once we did, our convo went like this: 'Hey, can we please get chopsticks?" 'You have chopsticks on the table.' ,and he proceeded to point to our napkin. "That's just a napkin, chopsticks please." Our server stood there staring at our table trying to see if we really had chopsticks on our table. Seriously, disposable chopsticks cost 3 cents, why would anybody be so concerned with giving out 1 too many pairs of chopsticks when the majority of your overhead cost is fish? At this point I was just laughing at how frustratingly extra slow the service was compared to all the other previous times that I have been here. I noticed how the other server who brought us our ayce menu was more attentive and cheerful to his tables.I had server envy! In the end we ate our food, paid, and left. Go somewhere else that doesn't involve sticky tables, slow service, and a chopstick Nazi.

BEST SUSHI HANDS DOWN in Altamonte Springs/APK/Longwood area!! So delicious, and fresh! The prices are pretty reasonable *sign up for VIP offers through email* Big selection of rolls, give you a hot cloth to wipe your hands before you eat,NO MOSCATO WINE (Very bummed) and you map out on paper what you want to eat! RECOMMEND: Super Volcano Roll, Bubba Roll, Paradise roll!!

I only really come here anymore for their happy hour specials. They have basic rolls for $3 or less, and beer for the same price. We come here with friends sometimes when we're looking for a change from normal bar food. Like their Apopka location, the sushi is decent quality, but nothing to rave about. They do have beer and liquor, which helps, and their specialty rolls are huge, so you're not left wanting. They redid their interior recently, and it's got a kind of 90s nightclub vibe. Pretty chill. My favorite is the flying dragon roll, wrapped in unagi. It's pretty hard to mess up eel, and after a couple of drinks, everything tastes fantastic.

Disclaimer: just the fact that there are Asians working in a sushi restaurant doesn't necessarily make it authentic. The ones that own and work in this restaurant are not Japanese. They are Chinese. Although the quality of the sushi should NOT be judged based on this, please understand that this is about as authentic as Italians making and serving tacos. That being said, the food here is never disappointing. The portions and the prices are fair. However, there aren't any innovative dishes here that will pleasantly surprise you, or any that you haven't had in any semi decent sushi places. But I guess one word to describe this establishment is "decent."

Service is great but sushi was mediocre. Noticed that if you order from the AYCE menu that the rolls especially the specialty rolls are also mediocre in regards to menu description and visual presentation. What I mean by this is ; if you order a Spider Roll from a regular menu it will have the special toppings and presentation once placed on your table. However if you order the same roll from the AYCE menu the roll has NO TOPPINGS AND MEDIOCRE PRESENTATION. The place has changed since I stepped to this place. This was a frequent back in my Altamonte Springs residency days. I used to work down in Lake Mary and the scrub shop provided for us was near this sushi spot. The ambience inside has def changed. More club like lol very dark and neon lights. You have to ask about the AYCE MENU due to they do not usually offer it upfront. Its a variety of sashimi, nigiri, regular rolls and specialty rolls - Also unlimited serving upon request of miso soup, house salad, seaweed salad. The downfall to ordering AYCE is if you ordered food and they think you have alot of leftover pieces .. You will get charge PER PIECE. That was a rule stated on the menu so be careful of ordering too much. My trick is ordering 1 roll at a time or few pieces of sashimi or nigiri at a time. This way less leftovers. Service is great. Water service is great. This place is run by Chinese not Japanese. They offer regular stamp card once they present you with the bill make sure you grab it just in case you might frequent often! This place is too out of the way but was in the area that is why we stopped by. FYI the Korea House across the street is a must go when it comes to Korean BBQ!

We came here on a Friday night as a large group for a friend's birthday. The restaurant was able to connect a few tables along the back to accommodate our group but the dining area overall is not too expansive so call ahead for a group. Good thing we are all friends because we were a tad squished on all sides. Service was okay but a tad slow. The drink order took a long time even though everyone got either water, sake, or sapporo bottles. Once the waiter finally came back the dinner order was a little more efficient. All the food came out it came in waves but around the same time. All but one of our party ordered sushi. His habachi meal came much later and he ended up asking for a box since most of the party was already done eating. Everyone we were with enjoyed their various sushi rolls and had no complaints. The waiter again took a long time to return and ask about checks but made no mistakes when they arrived. That is pretty good for a large party. Despite the spotty service the sushi was decently good. We were most happy about the price when we saw the bill! The price will have us back again soon. Me and the mister shared crab rangoon, 3 sushi rolls (heaven, super volcano, and super crunch ?), a large sake, and a large sapporo. All for about $50! Bayridge also has a loyalty stamp card that when full will get you $20 off your next purchase. Sushi was good enough that we will come back to longwood again when we want something besides our usual (pricey) sushi place.

I've been a regular for years and while their sushi is fantastic 98% of the time, their have been quite a few "misses" lately. The sushi rice was undercooked and crunchy, the service has been terrible for dine-in, and online orders just aren't being processed. It's a bummer because this has been my go-to sushi place since 2008 and it's no longer even in my top 3.

My coworkers and I were craving sushi and decided to come here since one of them had come here before and portions were larger than my favorite sushi restaurant in the altamonte area. We came on a Thursday night and there was plenty of seating. The waiter was pretty attentive and got our orders in fairly quickly along with our tea and water. When the food arrived, everyone's food looked good. The portions were indeed very large (at least for the bowls). Two of my coworkers got the chirashi bowl (just seasoned sashimi mix over rice - I posted a pic) and it was literally the biggest portion of fish I've ever seen on a chirashi bowl. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl and it was much bigger than I had expected (also posted a pic). The rest of my coworkers ordered sushi. One ordered the tonkatsu. Now given the generous portions, this sushi joint would've been a go to for me if the sushi was good. However, my spicy tuna bowl was hugely disappointing. The spicy tuna was not spicy at all. And I usually like and have high tolerance for spicy foods so I would've let it slide but the fish itself didn't taste fresh either. Also, one of my coworkers found a piece of hair lodged between two pieces of his sushi roll. (Gross!) we tried to convey that to our server when he came along but I guess there was a language barrier and he didn't understand. (Not totally his fault since we didn't flag him down and tell him when we first got our food. It was something we said in passing when he was refilling our tea and water amongst our conversations with each other so he probably didn't think we were talking to him). The rest of my coworkers all seemed to enjoy and like their food though. Anyways, I had high hopes for this place but it looks like I'll stick with my regular sushi restaurant in altamonte. I rather pay a little more for better quality fish (especially since it's raw), even if the portions are smaller.

Nice little Japanese sushi restaurant, much higher quality than you'd expect from the road. Monday is a great day to go there with $1 per piece of nigiri sushi. Very good mackerel, double tuna roll, veggie tempura, all other nigiri sushi. $2 sake carafes! Definitely worth a visit, especially for sushi

I don't know why I do this to myself. I decided to give this place another chance and am now kicking myself for it. Having ordered from other sushi restaurants "to go", I can attest that just because it's take out the quality of the sushi shouldn't have to suffer. The sushi also shouldn't be warm, almost hot - especially when you first pick it up. I decided to order a side of spicy mayo as well and I would not recommend it to anyone, ever. Why is it sweet? Gross. Also, I've noticed that my stomach doesn't really feel great after eating from here. That can't be a good sign. I doubt you'll see me here again.

There is a large selection of Japanese menu items as well as a All you can eat Sushi option for $19.95. As Crazy Buffet in Altamonte has closed recently, this is probably one of the few places in town offering decent sushi as all you can eat. A few of my friends and I decide to go that route and put it all in for the all you can eat sushi. Be forewarned that when you make a decision regarding quantity versus quality, quality always loses out when quantity increases (its practically a direct-proportional relationship). The sushi grade here is actually pretty decent, though my one gripe is the insane amount of rice that they pack into the rolls. Eating here for all you can eat can definitely max out your month carb intake and make you feel like you just consumed a whole rice cooker of rice by the end of the night.

I'm not really sure what all of the bad reviews are for. I've always had an excellent experience at Bayridge. For anyone who says they are true sushi fans & dont like Bayridge, are lying (at least for Central Florida standards). I have yet to eat at a sushi restaurant in Central Florida that offered the variety Bayridge does. All of their rolls are truly different, not 20 rolls with the same ingredients prepared dfferently. The sushi combos are awesome & a extremely reasonable. I've eaten sushi all over from Deland to Dr. Phillips. High end restaurants to casual & still keep coming back to Bayridge for the variety and consistency. If you think the fish isnt fresh, than just sit there for 2-3 hours and watch the turnover of guests.

I was recently taken to this place by my Florida peeps for an evening of sushi madness. I haven't eaten sushi this good since I lived in Hawai'i many, many years ago. The places is fantastic with a plethora of sushi varieties. And the presentation is so artistic and beautiful. Such an art, this sushi preparation. The atmosphere is fun but not too raucus. They quickly seated us and took our drink orders. There were 6 of us and we ate for less than $100 with myriad types of sush and a plate of tempura chicken and veggies for one of my peeps who won't touch sushi. Fabulous experience. I don't know the details about what I was eating but it was superb. Too many names and terms to remember. I just ate it. The tempura was hot and crispy and the vegetables had body and were perfectly cooked. If you're in this area of Florida and you're itching for some sushi, do yourself and huge favor and stop in here. You'll be pleasantly impressed.

I've been to this Bayridge Sushi on several occasions. They are a neat little restaurant within a shopping center heading towards Apopka with some decent prices for their rolls. I would have to recommend the Super Volcano roll which is a basic california roll with diced seasoned shrimp bits across the top. The servers are very nice and they keep the place interesting with some large tvs for you to catch some shows while your rolls are being made. During lunch, of course, it takes a bit longer but they have some rolls for a good price of 2 for $5.99 - which is pretty darn good. Of this set, the spicy shrimp is quite tasty.

Was on a sushi mission on a Friday night but we didn't want to drive all the way across town to find something decent and sit for an hour waiting because we had no reservations. So, here we come Bayridge, you were the closest to me while I was driving! On the way to the restaurant, the honey tells me he used to chat with the owner when they first opened up in Longwood. It's a heartfelt story where you want the business to survive because you think they're the good guys fighting off evil wrong doers in the area doing what they can to stop the success of the restaurant. And to no avail, the business pulls out in the end, make it in the industry, and are now a profitable company. After tugging on my heart strings the entire way, I for sure thought I was going to think this place was stellar. I mean, you always root for the good guy, right? Well, arriving there was easy, the place is nice on the inside but when it came to the food, it was mediocre at best. The spicy tuna roll wasn't very spicy and the specialty rolls were average but nothing was too exciting. The service was OK but because it was so busy, it wasn't as friendly as what the honey has had in the past. Will I come back? Well, maybe...if there aren't any other options.

I used to come here and love it. They are usually spot on. They have really started their slow downhill decline that far too many restaurants succumb to. The service tonight was some of the worst that I have ever had, they totally forgot one of our meals, and there was broken glass left on the floor that cut my foot. We had empty drinks the whole meal and no one seemed to care. I will not be coming back as there are far too many sushi restaurants around who deserve my business. This was truly a shame. RIP Bayridge.

When I lived in the Maitland/Altamonte area, this was my go-to place for great sushi. Not a lot of rice in the rolls, and the fish is always fresh. I highly recommend the tofu skin (Iniri) sushi, mad max roll, and crazy crunch roll.

I make it to Longwood once every five to ten years, and I was there today, so I had to give Bayridge Sushi a try. It's clearly a popular place, and deservedly so. My order was from the lunch special menu - the Sushi Lunch, which is nicely priced and includes five pieces of chef's choice sushi, miso soup, salad and a California Roll. I'm not sure why the California Roll exists, but to each his own. Service seemed aloof and brusque, and the presentation, which is so important in Japanese restaurants, was lacking. Nice men's room, though.

This is a great local sushi join. Dinner can be crowded, you want to make reservation or get there early or later. Food quality is excellent. Expect slow down though during busy dinner, but it within expected time for busy time. If you sign up on their mailing list from their website, sometimes they sent you 15 bucks off coupon after spending 60. Lunch is always good as well. Try any of their specialty rolls.

This place is okay. The service isn't exceptional during lunch hours, It's better during dinner though. I've been there a few times. They have all you can eat sushi, for you sushi lovers, this sounds great but it's the basic rolls, and they put SO much rice on it as filler. Where it's almost all rice, I scraped a little bit of rice off and saw in the fine print they will charge you if you don't eat the WHOLE roll, luckily there are trashcans in the bathroom. So, if you don't eat it all, they charge you like 75 cents per roll or something like that. The speciality rolls aren't bad, and the happy hour is okay-but nothing for me driving 20 minutes for. If i was in the area, I'd go there, but it's nothing worth raving about.

Went here for lunch today since I work very close by. Have been meaning to try it for a while but the shopping center is undergoing a lot of construction and it's one of the ugliest and most unappealing shopping centers I've ever seen.... so that has deterred me for a while. Finally went for lunch today with a co-worker. The atmosphere inside is really nice and the menu is pretty extensive. They have a good looking deal on mondays. Cheap sushi and drinks. The lunch deal was 2 rolls (from a particular list), with miso soup and a ginger salad. The ginger salad was decent but the dressing was overpoweringly lemony. I usually love that dressing. The miso soup was ok. I got the white fish tempura roll and the tuna avocado scallion roll. They were definitely mediocre..... the fish inside was pretty good but the rolls contained some of the toughest seaweed I have ever experienced in a sushi roll. You almost could not chew through it and it tasted "fishy." My co-worker had the same issue with hers. I didnt finish the tuna avocado roll. It was just bland and i couldn't continue to try to fight with that tough seaweed anymore. Sooo... meh.... I probably won't go back.

I've probably visited this place about 4 times so far and still like it. The outside of this place doesn't seem like much, but once you come inside it looks new and appealing. the quality of the sushi is greater than most places; prices reasonable for the amount of food and setting. Our server is always the same gentleman, serves our food; nothing interesting. overall good Japanese food, presentation, and service!

Came with a party of 8 on a Wednesday evening, restaurant wasn't too busy. Service was extremely slow, food temperature was below expectations and filet mignon was bland. Hated the vegetable selection and way they served them (not cooked properly). Soup was good but salad dressing was bad and lettuce was ice cold. I will not come back for quite some time until I am ready to give it another shot, which is a shame considering the rather nice ambience and decor of the place.

I want to respond to some of the negative reviews I have seen popping up about Bayridge. Do yourself a favor and order off of the *Specialty Rolls* menu to get a real sense of what they have to offer. Admittedly, if you order off of the All You Can Eat menu or order it to go you will absolutely get less quality rolls...I have seen it happen many times. If you order a roll that only has two or three basic ingredients in it (eg. Salmon and Cream Cheese) it will be small. For some good choices try the House Tempura Roll, David Roll, Volcano Roll, or Bubba Roll - they are all sizeable and tasty! While the sushi (particularly the specialty rolls) is good, the service there continues to suffer. I was not surprised to read about the warm rolls one person complained about because once the rolls are made they are brought to the front desk where they sit on a counter waiting for your arrival...not very appealing! Service can be slow depending on your waiter, so if you are in a hurry tell them and they will step it up.

Bayridge Sushi is a great little sushi restaurant in the heart of Longwood. I've been going here for a number of years and have never had a negative experience. Their lunch special is a deal all in its own and they're specialty rolls are some of the best in town. While I will admit that sometimes the staff is not always the easiest to communicate with most of the time they are fantastic. Tonight I had a server that I have never had before and she was amazing. We had some rather "interesting" drink orders and she took care of them without a hitch, she was prompt and we all enjoyed our experience with her. Often times the only thing you hear out of a servers mouth at Bayridge is "ready to order?" and then never again will you hear them speak. This is one of my hometown favorites and deserves a go if your in the mood for some sushi, especially if its lunch time. You can't beat their bento box lunch special.

I have been going to this sushi restaurant for many years. Their sushi is good. I like that the prices are reasonable! With 4 teenagers, the $19.95 All-You-Can-Eat sushi offer is a great DEAL!

I drive from Kissimmee for Bayridge every 2-3 weeks to get my sushi fix! The freshness and flavor cannot be beat at that price. Nearly every roll I've had is perfectly balanced with all the ingredients in harmony instead of being drowned in a sauce or deep fried to cover up mediocre ingredients. The food quality deserves 5 stars but I rated a 4 overall because the service/ friendliness at the Longwood location leaves much to be desired. The Apopka location has much better service, but the sushi is not as good - now all we need is a location that can bring it all together. My fav rolls: Super Crunch, Spicy Tuna, Shawn, Jade, Sweet Potato Tempura, Mad Max. For an even better value, visit during happy hour (3-6pm, I think). Lunch specials are good too.

I really wanted to like Bayridge sushi so much that I patronized three times before deciding on my opinion. Each time was just so so, which is unfortunate because the staff is very friendly. Bayridge seemed to have a lot of regulars (probably due to the friendly staff and the all you can eat sushi deal). There is a good amount to choose from on the menu, but nothing I tried was memorable or seemed very fresh. There just aren't many sushi options in Longwood.

This is not the place to go if you want quality sushi. I have eaten here several times, hoping that I could have something positive to say. Sorry the result is still the same, cheap sushi imitation. Save yourself some money and go to the grocery store to buy this kind of sushi.

Absolutely love this place, I'm a regular. I like the one in Longwood better than the one in Apopka. I recommend the Spicy Bubba Roll (it's not on the menu, but excellent!). Prices are average for great sushi - comparable food quality to Amura in Heathrow!

We always have the best service and food when we come to dine here. Our favorites are the shumai, goyza and edamame and all of the yummy sushi.

Lol

I've been back 4 times since September and the service has improved since before. I've decided to tack on another star. :P

(2)Digital B.
(2)Jenni S.

(4)Alfonso S.
Good sushi on the cheap, unassuming on the outside, authentic on the inside. Good, timely service as well. And the portions are surprisingly large.
(4)Jason B.
Fantastic value and pretty fresh. Excellent variety of rolls and some new, exciting variations.
(4)Andora M.
Terrible service but the sushi is good and inexpensive
(3)Joe D.
Great sushi. There is better around town, but it's definitely worthwhile.
(4)Leah P.
The sushi here is pretty good, not great, not at all authentic but the cheapest around for decent sushi. THe longwood location is better than the apopka one. It's a decent place to go for lunch.
(3)Dino S.
Was ok for the price, but was nothing to drive out of your way for. If you in the area not bad
(2)Andrea S.

Amazingly fresh, tasty sushi. My favorite is the valentine roll!
(5)C R.
Improving! I was impressed with the improvement of the quality of food. We ended up here when our first choice was closed for lunch on Sunday, not expecting to be wowed. We were wrong. Things have gotten so much better. We'll be going back more often!
(4)Jk F.
Visiting from NYC and loved the sushi. I went on a Monday a 6pm and enjoyed the $1 Monday specials with a glass of Chardonnay, shrimp tempura roll, and 'Mexican' roll. Great evening.
(4)Tina F.
(4)Amber T.
I LOVE this sushi restaurant! They have such a large selection of unique rolls. They are generous with portions and the service was excellent.
(5)M G.
I love sushi and with the deals that this place has I couldn't resist. Perfect amounts for the money. Dollar Sushi! Yea!
(5)Lauren S.
Best sushi in the Orlando area! Most delicious cooked sushi rolls and Crab Don appetizer. We've been loyal to this location and sushi place for the last 6 years because it has the best food, prices fur what you get in quantity and quality, and always top notch service!
(5)Shilley T.
I like this place. I've had better sushi but you can't really beat their happy hour .
(3)Phylicia K.
(5)Mary S.
(5)Tonya A.
Lol
(5)Lalainia F.
Every week I drive 20 minute, on my lunch break, on way to pick up Bayridge for the office. Bayridge Sushi is fresh and tasty. The 2 roll lunch special with Salad and Soup is the best.
(5)Nancy N.
(2)Robert L.
I'm a long time customer of Bayridge Sushi since they first opened the Longwood location in the early 2000s. They consistently great food and service and. The owner and his wife are very friendly. Pricing is decent as well. I recommend this place to everyone that asks. :)
(5)Angela P.
I have only ordered take out but every time I do the sushi is exquisite :) I know that when I order here I can never go wrong. I like to try a restaurant a few time before ordering any eel from them, because I am so picky about it, but I will next time and will update my review accordingly :)
(5)Andrea B.
(3)Gaea V.
(4)King L.
(2)Jarrod P.
Amazing very homelike stuff very happy to see you always a pleasure to take your order always on top of things great service great presentation great creativity and overall in general just a great place to be around I'd recommend this place to anybody that wanted sushi
(5)Nikki H.
We just relocated to the area and was suggested to eat here. During their happy hour they have rolls $3-4.50 which was nice. They were all good. Not the highest quality of fish I've had but still a great buy.
(4)Beth M.
Definitely nothing to write home about. Sushi and Hibachi were mediocre and service was inattentive and slow. Very overpriced for what it was. Won't be coming back here.
(2)Denise T.
Had the Mount Fuji Roll. Amazing. Loved the contrast of the warm coconut sauce with the spicy pepper. Unusual combo. Will definitely order it again.
(5)Clemson T.
Great sushi at an even better price. So many different roles to choose from makes it hard to choose! Love this place
(5)Blanca O.
(1)Denise R.
Didn't have great service and the sushi was not that good. If you want good sushi, go to Amura!!
(1)Evita B.
(1)Tida C.
(1)Natalia H.
(4)Po T.
(4)Paul L.
(5)John S.

(5)Douglas B.
(2)Nate W.
Great sushi for the price. They also have a good happy hour where basic rolls cost a $1.
(5)Aaron H.

(4)Corrupting K.
(3)Rene F.
Amazing sushi! One of my few fav sushi spots! The green tea ice cream is a must! The place is always super clean and the sushi is spot on!
(5)Cynthia T.
(1)R. Alexander S.
(2)Thomas M.
(4)Keith H.

(4)Kady W.

I've been back 4 times since September and the service has improved since before. I've decided to tack on another star. :P

(5)Allison M.

(4)Joy J.

(3)Betty Z.

(4)Missy S.
Been here a few times. Very clean place, friendly staff and the food is delicious. I defiantly will be back to eat here I loved it.
(4)Andrea C.
I absolutely love this place! When I need good sushi for a great price this Is the place to go! It takes me 45 minutes to get there but it's worth it! Always had a great experience
(5)Ashley K.
(2)Ricky L.
(3)Debra B.
We always have the best service and food when we come to dine here. Our favorites are the shumai, goyza and edamame and all of the yummy sushi.
(5)Dan O.

(2)Ross O.
(2)Lauren G.
Great Food. Poor Service... Mainly one of the servers. I continue to eat there because the food is EXCELLENT.
(3)Eldine M.
When I lived in the Maitland/Altamonte area, this was my go-to place for great sushi. Not a lot of rice in the rolls, and the fish is always fresh. I highly recommend the tofu skin (Iniri) sushi, mad max roll, and crazy crunch roll.
(5)Tom B.
(3)Surya S.

(4)Jonathan N.

(4)Brandi B.
Went for Christmas dinner and had a good time. Everything was delicious, as usual and service has improved greatly. Loves it.

(4)Char M.
(2)Anna M.
This is not the place to go if you want quality sushi. I have eaten here several times, hoping that I could have something positive to say. Sorry the result is still the same, cheap sushi imitation. Save yourself some money and go to the grocery store to buy this kind of sushi.
(1)Shelly D.
Absolutely love this place, I'm a regular. I like the one in Longwood better than the one in Apopka. I recommend the Spicy Bubba Roll (it's not on the menu, but excellent!). Prices are average for great sushi - comparable food quality to Amura in Heathrow!
(4)Allison M.
(3)Ashley K.
(2)Ricky L.
(3)Debra B.
We always have the best service and food when we come to dine here. Our favorites are the shumai, goyza and edamame and all of the yummy sushi.
(5)Dan O.

(5)Tom B.

(2)Robin P.
I've always enjoyed Bayridge. Although served in most sushi places their Miso and salad are great. Love the $1 sushi too. I am thrilled with the new modern decor.
(4)Cristina C.
(4)Sandra B.
Good food, but this location has issues with service! Terrible service. The Bayridge Sushi in Apopka is better. I've never had any issue there.
(2)Digital B.
(2)Jenni S.
(1)R V.

Went there recently for the second time and were impressed, have a lot of amura like rolls at better price, my husband and i went and the check was $60, would have been much more at amura, We'll probably go here instead of amura from now on.
(4)Jenny R.

Amazingly fresh, tasty sushi. My favorite is the valentine roll!

Improving! I was impressed with the improvement of the quality of food. We ended up here when our first choice was closed for lunch on Sunday, not expecting to be wowed. We were wrong. Things have gotten so much better. We'll be going back more often!

(2)Nate W.
Great sushi for the price. They also have a good happy hour where basic rolls cost a $1.
(5)Aaron H.

(3)Lalainia F.
Every week I drive 20 minute, on my lunch break, on way to pick up Bayridge for the office. Bayridge Sushi is fresh and tasty. The 2 roll lunch special with Salad and Soup is the best.
(5)Nancy N.

(5)Mary S.
(5)Tonya A.
Lol
(3)Jk F.
Visiting from NYC and loved the sushi. I went on a Monday a 6pm and enjoyed the $1 Monday specials with a glass of Chardonnay, shrimp tempura roll, and 'Mexican' roll. Great evening.
(4)Tina F.
(4)Phylicia K.
(5)Amber T.
I LOVE this sushi restaurant! They have such a large selection of unique rolls. They are generous with portions and the service was excellent.
(5)M G.
I love sushi and with the deals that this place has I couldn't resist. Perfect amounts for the money. Dollar Sushi! Yea!

(4)King L.
(1)John S.
(1)Tida C.
(1)Natalia H.
(4)Po T.
(4)Paul L.
(5)Amelia Y.
(4)Char B.
(4)Josie F.
(2)Phil V.
(3)Denise R.
Didn't have great service and the sushi was not that good. If you want good sushi, go to Amura!!
(1)Evita B.
(1)Fred B.
Great food. Chicken Katso Bento and Spicy Conch Sushi roll w Seaweed Salad all were Yummy. Service was slightly overwhelmed but still took care of our party pretty well. Lunch specials are exceptional.
(4)Corrupting K.
(3)Rene F.
Amazing sushi! One of my few fav sushi spots! The green tea ice cream is a must! The place is always super clean and the sushi is spot on!
(5)Cynthia T.

I've been back 4 times since September and the service has improved since before. I've decided to tack on another star. :P
