Milkshakes are amazing, but that's the only thing that shines. The burgers are ok but over priced. French fries are supposed to be from real potatoes yet something seems off about them especially their texture when you chew them. TLDR: come for the milkshakes, go elsewhere for burgers and fries

One of the best burgers in the Brandon area. And very good fries, too. They will often let adults order from the children's menu, which gives plenty of food.

Good burgers. No complaints. It was just a bit pricy to feed our family with 3 kids but the value is very good. The burgers are huge and yummy.

The food is amazing! The evening staff is fantastic! Great service from Allison and Jordan! If you like great burgers you must stop by!

Burgers were not bad, but the service and speed of delivery could really use some improvement. We went during what you would think are peak Saturday hours and there was no clear leadership or management running the show. During this time we heard two couples both send their food back as the toppings were incorrect. We then ran into our own problems when we ordered a milkshake on the way out. It took fifteen minutes per the time stamp on the order slip - the server then bickered with me that it had only been five minutes after I asked the second time for my order. Food was good, but pay for some leadership to help on the delivery side

We placed an order by phone and when we got there, they said they didn't get an order. Then they said they would bring it to the car and never did. We found it sitting at the counter. Let's not even talk about how disgusting the chicken sandwich is

Overpriced burgers and not a great atmosphere. You can get a better meal for the price elsewhere. I'm not one to give a bad review, but I can't see me going back here. Plus the restaurant was dirty - lots of tables needed to be cleaned and the entry doors handles were greasy. I had to wash my hands before I sat down to eat.

On the plus side, food came out pretty quickly. On the negative, food was just 'meh'. I've had better burgers and so have you. The onion rings were decent but the buffalo chicken was not great... Same-sorta concept as a 5-Guys but with more offerings. You walk up, place your order with a cashier, and sit down. They call you up, you pick up your food. That's the play-by-play..it's not a restaurant in the sense of servers on staff. If you want a quick burger that tastes better than fast-food but don't want to pay sit-down restaurant prices, try it out.

Very average burger, service was horrible, employees walking all around the tiny kitchen eating and drinking. One employee had grabbed some fries bare handed.

This was a great experience, i have high hopes for Jakes, The food was good, the ambiance is reminiscing of a 50's modern dinner type, with great music to "bop" ....we had the cheesy burger, Also an app called Irish Nachos, they are served with home made potato chips, nice and crispy with chili all over them... yum... Jeffrey had the Jake burger which i'm going to say it... very comparable to the In N Out Burger,, the shakes are also freshly made and delish! really good quality , high hopes for this place. hope they branch out, we'll definitely be coming back to try other menu items, Nice job Jake!!

Excellent Service and a Tasty Burger. We were met by a professional young man when we arrived who greeted us and held the door open as we entered. This is a new store and it still has that fresh paint look, without the smell of course. The menu board is simple and easy to read with lots to choose from including a couple of fresh salads. I usually ask for a recommendation whene trying a new place. The associate behind the counter recommended a double burger with four slices of cheese. She explained that the burgers were cooked fresh to order and were flattened on the grill while cooking. A burger chain that can take the time to cook the meat fresh to order is a rare find. Some of The best chains on the West Coast still boast that type of attention from their customers. Just wondering how long it will take to educate the local clientele. We received our order promptly at about 6 to 10 minutes and it was quite a meal. After the first bite I was reminded of that scene from Pulp Fiction where Samuel L Jackson is trying the big Kahuna burger before he offs those young entrepreneurs, Now That's A Tasty Burger. . . Overall a very pleasant experience. We will be back.

I will give 5 stars if the management have ever been there, It is hit and miss with the service but it s fast food so I dont think there is one, Anyway we really like their food, especially the onion ring , half of time they will mass my order so I learn my lesson check it before I leave but young kids work there are nice they will fix for you

Not worth the money or the wait. Five Guys is better....

Stopped in the new burger place in fish hawk (jakes). Burgers, fries, and the milk shakes were all good and fresh. Given that the restaurant is new, you could tell they still need to work through some of the kinks in their production and service model, but food was good

The buffalo chicken sandwich is tasty and really enjoyed the Irish nachos. You may have to wait; however it's made fresh and the service is friendly. I recommend calling Your order in if you need a quick to-go meal.

Fishhawk Steak n Shake! Plan on waiting 45 minutes for your food on the weekends. Hopefully they will work on the productivity of the kitchen.

Well on this particular day they earned points for having curbside pickup. I had been cleaning all & doing laundry all day & did not feel like 'sprucing up' just because I was hungry. I felt so lazy but was so glad they had the option. When you pull up to the curbside spots, you just call the number on the sign & they bring your order out to you. I ordered a patty melt & onion rings with an Oreo Chocolate shake. Bad I know, but actually it was really good. My order was correct & that gets them 5 stars this time. I will go back again. They had a really nice outdoor seating area which I looked like where I might like to enjoy my meal the next time I stop by.

The burgers are very good and everything is made fresh, which goes a long way to keep me returning. They also do kids eat free Tuesday, which is handy for getting out of the house. But everything else is incredibly inconsistent and frustrating - if there were another non-fast food burger place in the area, I'd go there instead. Here's why - Point system - They have one, sometimes. Often the cashier won't say anything about it, or has no idea it exists. Beer - The rotating tap is cool, the Jake's Beer is a red (which is fine), but sometimes they charge for a 24oz beer which is then delivered in a 12oz plastic cup. This was explained to me as "we're not doing beer in the 24oz milkshake cups anymore" and then I watched two people get their beers in them. Pricing - Combo pricing includes a side and drink for slightly less than ordering them individually, but often either the combo upgrade discount isn't included, or if ordering a beer, you're charged for the combo upgrade AND beer, while not receiving a soft drink cup. Balloon Guy - There're two of them that alternate. One is great, the other is not. Sometimes he's nice enough, but other times he has no interest. This is absolutely going to come off sounding like an entitled white millennial dad, but the kid in front of mine wanted a sword. Guy made the kid an elaborate, multi-balloon sword. My kid saw it and asked for a sword; guy made a single-balloon stick thing and then went right back to chatting with some single mom - showing her pictures on his phone, handing out business card, etc. My kid is three - I shouldn't have to have the "life isn't fair" chat with her already. These mostly seem like training issues (except for the balloon thing, but whatever). It'd be great to see them resolved, since this place does have good food. But more often than not I leave there disappointed.

Ouch - overpriced burger place. I hate to give a bad review but when my kids wouldn't even eat the bland French fries there's a problem. There wasn't any salt on the fries. The burger of the month, Bacon Ranch Burger on a pretzel bun, was good but for $7.29 and then another $4 for fries & a drink... It was definitely not an $11 meal. Beers are $3.99. My single burger $5.04 & onion rings $4.99 was not worth the price tag. The onion rings were bland, boring & no dipping sauce. The chocolate milk shake was good & a large portion. Thank god it was kids eat free night or it would've been a $40 night and not worth it! I appreciate a good fresh burger but these were lame. We were visiting from out of town and definitely wouldn't go back. The cashier was impatient as if we were in a huge rush yet there was no one behind me in line. Surprised they don't have a blue cheese burger.

Burgers are good. Fries and chic nuggets are straight out of the Sysco food truck. Cheese fries had little flavor. Staff seems good but I think they lost whatever put them in business back 1991. Too expensive to boot

We have eaten here a half dozen times each time expecting it to be a better experience. The burgers and shakes are good but It's the service that always falls short, which is a shame. Today our cashier took a phone call in the middle of taking our order making us wait for about 5 mins before another employee came to finish our order. We were the only customers in the restaurant but several tables were dirty and the floor was in desperate need of a sweep. I really wish this place would get it together.
