We were driving through the area and couldn't bear the thought of a fast food place for lunch. Found this place on Yelp and were were pretty happy with it. The service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The decor is what you'd expect (fish, deer and whatnot on the walls) and it's clean. I had a turkey sandwich and my husband had a burger. The portions were very large and we couldn't finish. We both thought the bread and sweet potato fries were excellent. Prices are fair. Overall, I think it was the best choice we could have found in the area.

Good for the area. Hard to get good food that's not a chain around the villages. But this place is very good and consistent. A routine lunch place. Very reasonable prices as well with pretty good BBQ.

Second time here during vacation. The BBQ aroma is wonderful when walking in. The restaurant is newer, clean and well lit. We had a coupon for free appetizer and chose the buffalo bites--yummy. All ordered the half slab of ribs. Wonderfully tender fall-off-the bone kind. You choose two sides from a variety of choices. There's desserts on the menu, too, and a full bar. This was a Friday night. The place was full.

Everything on our 5 entrees was very good. Grilled mahi, full racks of ribs, kids cheeseburger, kids chicken tenders, sweet potatoes, green beans, baked beans, French fries, and sweet tea were all very good. Mac n cheese was okay, not my favorite. I thought Chocolate lava cake w/ ice cream was good, but but my family all loved it. We went on Mothers Day and mothers rcvd complimentary dessert, which was very nice. Server was great and very friendly. We will be back!

Solidly good comfort food. The fried stuff was addictive ~ okra. Pickles. Corn Fritters. Then a Cobb Salad that would feed an army! The Ribs looked good but I'm committed to Big Mike's of Anderson In and Blessed Foods in Louisville. But these could possibly be a good sub if the sauce is any indication.

Got the three meat combo dinner, fed two of us and still took a box home. We'll be back.

The food is good here. We have not located good barbeque in nearby Orlando. Better to order the meat chopped, and add sauce, than to order shredded meat with added sauce. The sauces are regular, hot and mustard based which is convenient under one roof.

The ribs were really good. The meat fell off the bone really nicely. The wait service was on top of it. As for the sauces, the sweet ere both alright. I thought the spicy could have had more kick. The sides were generally good. I had the garlic toast and the baked potato. My brother had the Mac and cheese. I liked all three of them.

I've been here twice now in 3 years and I'm just not impressed. The baby back ribs taste good, but they leave the membrane on the back so you get that stuff stuck in your teeth. The sides I've tried of baked beans and slaw and mac/cheese were only OK. The garlic toast didn't have any garlic flavor at all, in fact, it was kind of soggy. I don't mean to be negative, only honest. I've had much better BBQ experiences elsewhere.

A gem of a place in the middle of no where. Staff was very nice. My kids enjoyed the taxadermied animals. The bbq was excellent. Great sausage. Loved the okra bites. Left extremely satisfied.

Good food and great service!! All of the sides we ordered were excellent. I had the ribs and sausage which were pretty good...not the best. The hot BBQ sauce they had was tasty. We ordered the fried pickles to start things off which everyone loved. Overall, what stood out to me the most was the sides...the slaw, fried okra, and green beans were mighty fine!

Like the fast, prompt service as well as the food. Went early, 4:30 on Fri. nite and were seated right away. With 15 minutes they had folks waiting for tables. Usually I get pulled pork but chose 2meat dinner this trip - beef & turkey. Diner partner had 2 chicken breasts. For sides we did Mac 'n cheese, baked beans, warm corn salad & coleslaw. (2sides per dinner). Meats are served naked, not sauced. Two sauces are offered at table: 1 sweet & 1 spicy. To me sweet is too sweet and spicy not enough. Sides were delicious. Quantity of food is very good. Each dinner was 10.99 + tax.

Very good food. I'm from KC where we know BBQ and although the sauce was a little sweet for my taste the ribs and pulled pork were very good. The grilled corn salad was also very good.
