It is what it is. A chain restaurant. However, it's a damn good one. My husband and I got to this location at the uncomfortable hour between lunch and dinner when service tends to be the poorest. Our waitress was excellent. She was on top of her game and she knew just when to bring refills. It's not gourmet dining; therefore I don't rate chain restaurants as compared to actual 5 star restaurants but against their counterparts. We'll be back.

Over a year later I decided to try this Chili's again. I still saw some of the bacteria sludge in the grout between the tiles, but it was certainly not as bad as the last time. It appears that they have been cleaning a lot better. My son had some really good Southwestern mac and cheese, and I had a delicious California Turkey Club. We both shared some Texas cheese fries that were rather dry (over baked) which made the Ranch dressing a must have addition. Service was a wee bit slow, but it was lunch time. Because of the obvious improvements I will not wait over a year before my next return visit.

As far as Chili's go, this location is absolutely the worst Chili's I have ever been to. We moved to the area in March 2012 and frequented this location numerous times early on. Without fail there was always an issue. Wrong order, long wait times for food, cold food etc...I mean you can expect a bad night from time to time, however this was every single visit so we quit going for about 6 months. After our hiatus we decided to give it another shot. To our surprise the next couple visits were pretty good. No issue. As a matter of fact a manager came by and talked to us and we told him of our previous issues and he said he was sorry to hear that and that he was a new manager and hopefully our future experiences would be better. He even gave us a gift certificate. Wow great customer service. We visited about 6 times the next couple months and as stated things were good. Then it went down hill again. That manager transferred out again and we were back to the original manager still being there and well it has gone to hell again. After 4 straight bad experiences we called it a day a do not visit this Chili's. This location is about 2 miles from our home however we will go all the wY to Mount Dora if we want to go to Chili's.

If I could give zero stars I would. We sat at the bar and ordered some beers and guacamole. We were going to order lunch but no one ever came over to us. Many people passed behind the bar but we couldn't even get their attention. Side note, we were the only people at the bar. Left without lunch to head somewhere else. Avoid this location at all costs.

This has to be the worst!!!! Let me tepeat the worst Chilis I have ever been to!!!!! If you don't mind never getting a drink and when you do heaven forbid you should get a refill, waiting an hour for your food and not getting it until you threaten to leave and then the waiter never coming back to your table once the manager brings your food then maybe you can handle it, but for me I can spend my money somewhere where it is appreciated and wanted. It was a game in the dining room with the wait staff playing around and carrying on and us unable to get service even though we were the ONlY ones in the dining room. Stay clear!!!!!

I order to go from this Chilis every so often, and am always pleased. My food comes out the way I expect it, and it doesn't take long at all for them to make it and for me to pick it up. Nor do they keep me waiting to long.

It's CHILI'S. In LEESBURG. Don't expect five-star dining at a chain restaurant, or you'll just wind up disappointed. BUT if you use Chili's for the few positives that they DO have, it's not so bad - especially if you just treat it like a bar. Their 2-for-1 deals at happy hour are great. If you sit at the bar, you get free chips & salsa, and your service is pretty quick if you order food. Plus, this particular Chili's is located right between the Lake Square Mall and Lake-Sumter Community College. It's a great place to get some pre or post-movie drinks, or to throw a few back with some friends after a particularly good/bad day in classes. Sure, Chili's has all the strikes against it that all other corporate chains do... cookie-cutter decor and atmosphere, a lackluster menu, food with an average taste vs. price ratio. I know all the complaints that come with this type of place. So don't come in expecting the French Laundry and you won't be disappointed. You don't walk into McDonald's expecting Ruth's Chris, right?

If you like ANY Chili's, i'm sure you'd love Applebees, TGIFridays, Ruby Tuesdays or any number of casual dining experiences that are actually fast food with window dressing. Restaurants of this type have "tweenagers" twenty-somethin's staffing that could give 2 hoots about your service or food. Chili's does a fair job on their Caesar chicken wrap...unfortunately, it's the service that disrobes the King :o(

Ordered takeout from here after taking a break after they messed up numerous other takeout orders. Well once again they messed up a very simple order. I ordered the Southern Smokehouse Bacon Burger, which is usually good but they forgot to include the BBQ sauce that comes with the burger. The last few times I have ordered from here they have forgot to either include something we have ordered or they give us the wrong thing. 1 star and never going back to this place. Avoid it if you come across it.
