tiny walk-up place - you blink you miss it! But the staff is friendly, like ma and pa. The sandwiches are very very good! Price is right for the meal, portions are healthy for a sandwich. Yum!

Ordered their rice, beans and chicken plate, it was great although I wasn't expecting a lot from it anyway.. Just a small pre work out meal.. My mother ordered the Greek salad and there was at least 1/3 pounds of feta cheese! Haha it was hilarious to see that there was more cheese than lettuce! She was quite disappointed.. Our friend ordered some ground beef in sauce plate (forgot the exact name) it was okay. The bread was very good. To sum up, this place is alright (except the salad) and very cheap. Getting the beans and chicken is a great option but in wouldn't recommend the rest. On the brighter side, their Cuban coffee was a complete delight and is worth stopping for it.

As a native Miamian who speaks Spanish with a Cuban accent, I do not recommend this cafe. Nice people, but only a pale shadow of what I expect from a Cuban cafe. The black beans were canned and undoctored, just plain out of a can, not half as tasty as a can of El Ebro. The Cuban sandwich was not terrible, but small, short on meat and supplemented with tuna fish? Never seen that before but not a bad idea actually to my surprise. I'm not in a habit of slagging honest hardworking restauranteurs, so I write this with a sad heart, but it was just meh, blah, not so good. If you aren't interested in authentic Cuban food then you will be ok with this place.

I really wasn't impressed with this place at all. I decided to come by since it was highly rated and I was in the area for work. I ordered the steak sandwich. It was tasty, but WAY too tough. To the point where I wasn't able to just bite into it, i had to really tug to get a piece off. It shouldn't have been cooked to that extent at all. I was really disappointed and ended up having to use a fork and knife to finish it off.

Awesome black bean soup, cuban sandwiches, cuban BBQ and everything else. The place doesn't look great from outside, but the food inside is the best around.

I eat here about 4 times a month. I love it! Everything is good from soups to deserts.

No doubt the absolute best Cuban sandwiches in town. Their black beans and rice are amazing.
